Jungkook didn't understand. Why was it that with every other breakup, he'd be onto the next girl in only a few hours but now all he wanted was- he didn't know what he wanted actually.
And that was why he was confused.
It was Saturday night and he was home alone because Jimin and Taehyung took Sua and Vivian out to an arcade. He told them he might come later but he currently had something to deal with.
"Hi, I'm Jeon Jungkook. I have a package waiting for me?" Jungkook asked the lady at the desk and nodded before checking her records.
"Correct. It's in an envelope, just wait a second." She reaches under her desk and pulls out a huge box and reaches her hand inside of it. "He-here you go." The girl said as her hands trembled while giving Jungkook the letter, she was quite flustered, something that wasn't out of ordinary when Jungkook was around women. He winked at her before turning around and leaving the building. He took a seat inside his parked car and started to open the letter.
Inside was a ticket to Jeju island, and it was sent by his parents. His older brother was having his wedding over spring break there and Jungkook was flying there to attend. As he 'gracefully' opened up the envelope with his teeth, he pulled out a ticket and smiled at it.
But he couldn't help but notice that there was something else inside.

Is it a sappy 'I miss you' card from mom? I looked inside the envelope and saw that it was a thin piece of paper. I took it out and saw that it was another plane ticket. I compared it with the first ticket I pulled out and saw that everything was the same, except the airplane seats were different but still seated next to each other. I furrowed my eyebrows before figuring out that it was probably a mistake.
I pulled out my phone and called my mom. "Hi Mom."
(AN ; so just so you know jungkook is korean but i didn't want him to speak in korean cause i don't know. so you can imagine that he's actually speaking korean or just keep it english, your preference. also this story takes place in america, felt that was important to say)
"Jungkook-ah, it's been so long. Did you get your tickets?"
"Yeah I just- wait tickets? There was supposed to be two?"I questioned still analyzing the two tickets in my hand.
"Well how else is your girlfriend going to come? You need to bring a date, remember?" They bought the tickets a few months ago and at that time I agreed to bringing a date because I didn't think I'd ever be single.
"Yes! You're right. Um, I just wanted to make sure she was supposed to come. Just in case, you know. Okay bye mom, love you." I quickly hung up and sighed. Maybe this wouldn't be a problem. I've never had a problem with finding a date, what would be the odds of it now?
I'll worry about this later. I thought before putting the two tickets back into the envelope and in one of the car's compartments. I started driving again and was on my way to the arcade.

Jungkook stood outside the brightly lit arcade with shining huge letters that said "Lucky Plaza". It was usually filled with teenagers or families coming to have to have a good time. With a restaurant, games, and a movie theater, the area was the perfect place to loosen up and have fun.
But when Jungkook showed up to meet with his other four friends, the mood was anything but loose. He waved at everyone but when he got to Sua it was like this weird, awkward feeling had occupied the atmosphere.
Taehyung and Vivian definitely felt it and were sending each other looks of confusion. Jimin hadn't quite caught on yet, assuming the the two roommates had gotten into a fight earlier, and jumped in to break the ice.
"Our maknae finally left his home after his breakup, I think he deserves an applause." Jimin joked with his arms around Jungkook's shoulders. Taehyung and Vivian clapped awkwardly but still smiled and tried to help build up the sudden complicated mood.
Sua stood still looking Jungkook up and down and he did the same, it almost looked like the two were judging each other.
But they weren't.
Sua was actually admiring how Jungkook looked in his long coat and brushed hair and thought he cleaned himself up nicely after his two days of being sick.
And Jungkook was trying to stop himself from running up to Sua and giving her a big hug. Or maybe it wasn't just limited to Sua, but after feeling alone for quite a while he wanted to be held.
"Jungkook, lets go to the basketball shooting we haven't played that in a while." Jungkook nodded and left with Jimin and Taehyung leaving Sua and Vivian alone.
"Why was it so awkward between you too?"
"It was? Didn't notice." Sua responded watching the three boys in front of her walk to the arcade game as she walked behind them.
"What's wrong?" Jimin asked throwing another ball into the net. Jungkook was using the one next to him also keeping his eyes on the target.
Jungkook spoke, "I," one went in,"need", another went in, "to find a a date." Unfortunately the final one did not make it and Jungkook made a tsk noise.
Taehyung chuckled, "Like that's gonna be a problem." Jungkook grinned at his friend's motivation and continued to play his game.
After about half an hour everyone was fairly tired and hungry so they all went on the long line at the food court.
"This is going to take forever." Vivian pouted before Taehyung tried to subtlety touch her hand.
"I'll be here with you." He smiled and Vivian, although she didn't want to, smiled back. Sua watched their encounter and stole a glance from Taehyung and cheered him on. Jimin and Jungkook were talking on their own and Sua just looked around the play area.

I was enjoying watching everyone with their families or friends having a great time but then all of a sudden my eyebrows were raised and my eyes were open wide.
Now I may be eighteen and involved with school, but that doesn't mean I haven't given up my fan girl ways.
Call me Baby, by EXO, was playing somewhere in this arcade and I was determined to find out where. I started to look around and saw a dance machine was playing the song and had the music video on the screen.
"Sua! There you are." Jungkook was panting and trying to catch his breath as he stood in front of you. "One second you were on the line with us, and then you ran away somewhere. They told me to see where to you went."
"Why were you running?" I asked him trying not to chuckle at his panting figure.
He pointed to the right, "That is where the line is. This is where you are." I looked and saw that it was indeed far. Hm, when I was coming here it didn't feel like that. I was really just following Baekhyun's voice.
He caught on to the machine I was standing in front of and gestured his head, "You like kpop?" He asked with a growing smile. He wants to make fun of me, I know it.
I nodded and smiled, "Yeah and I'm a hoe for EXO not gonna lie." Jungkook just laughed and took out a few tokens out of his pocket.
"I'm not a bad dancer. Say, how bout we verse each other in this game. A devoted fan girl versus an amateur dancer." He offered and I wanted to say yes but was still skeptical.
"What does the winner get?" I asked and Jungkook thought for a second before speaking.
"A kiss."
"What?" I said surprised and Jungkook laughed.
"I'm kidding. This is just a friendly game." I don't see anything wrong with that. I sighed before bringing my hand out for him to shake it. He accepted it and we looked at each other for quite a while before I jumped up because I heard Love me Right, also by EXO and went up to the first player's stand. Jungkook only grinned before getting on the second.
Ready, Set, Start!
Sounded the machine and we started the game. The foot work is pretty hard but I've watched this performance on my phone so much, I think I'm pretty decent. Jungkook's probably- what the hell.
I couldn't believe my eyes when I saw my roommate- who I thought had the only talent of being a girl magnet- was dancing almost identical to the same idols I dream to be with.
"Um, amateur?" I asked still trying to keep up and Jungkook just nodded before laughing but still not keeping his eyes off the screen.
"If you count taking dancing classes up until middle school an amateur, then yeah. Oh and I've played this game a lot with my brother." Jungkook stated and I almost paused to look at him if I didn't realize the steps were speeding up.
"I don't!" I shouted playfully and was just laughing at the thought of Jungkook actually practicing dance.
Maybe I could do a little sabotage.
I accidentally brought my arm out and hit Jungkook's shoulder which made him stumble a bit.
"Yah! Why are you playing dirty?" He asked as we both tried to keep up with the dance but were trying to hit each other and the same time.
We were hitting each other for a while before Jungkook called my name. "Hey Sua, look around for a second." At the corner of my eye, I could see a small crowd forming and they were clapping their hands encouraging for us to go on. "Hm, now I have an audience to beat you." Jungkook spoke and I shook my head.
"Not today!"

"Jimin, Jimin, Jimin!" Taehyung kept on tapping on my shoulder and I finally turned around.
"What is it Tae?" I asked still moving along on the line.
"There's this whole crowd around the dance machine, and I want to see the dancers! So does Vivian, can you get the trays and let us check it out?" Vivian nodded and extended her neck to try to get a glimpse of the people dancing.
"Okay but come back soon enough for-"
"Thanks Jimin!" Taehyung shouted and grabbed Vivian's hand before going to the machine.
And now I have no one to help me with the trays. Looks like Sua and Jungkook left too, I wonder who's dancing? I moved up again on the line and started to order.
"That's going to be like five trays? Do you need help with that? I'd love to help." Said the cashier and it almost looked like she had heart eyes. I chuckled before responding.
"That's fine, can I just take them two at a time?" She nodded before going to prepare the food and she let me sit at a table and wait.
I was just looking around the room before the flat screen at the corner of the room turned on and showed what was happening at the dance machine.

Jimin's eyes landed on the image of Sua and Jungkook fooling around on the machine and it basically looked like they weren't even trying anymore.
He watched as Sua laughed when Jungkook tried to trip her or tickle her to mess her up. And then Sua actually did lose her balance but her shoulders were caught by Jungkook who wrapped his arms around her. He let her go and there was finally a winner, Jungkook. The audience clapped for him and he started to bow like a dork. Sua just stood there watching her roommate bask in his glory with a huge smile on her face.
And the whole time Jimin couldn't even realize that he was smiling too. He was so happy. Because once in his entire life of knowing Jungkook, has he seen his best friend have so much fun. They've known each other since middle school and there were a number of girls that Jungkook was with, but there was never a moment where Jungkook was smiling so hard, not like he was right now.
There was finally a close up where it was just Sua waving to everyone and although everyone else didn't catch it, Jimin saw the way Jungkook was looking at Sua. Like she was the only one there.
And that's when Jimin figured it out. Maybe, he didn't actually like Sua as much as he thought he did.
And maybe he couldn't be with her. Because he knew so well that who she belonged with was actually the one standing next to her.
