Chapter 1

Harleen Quinzel

Harleen Quinzel is a beautiful, twenty six year old women. Harleen was everyone's idea of beautiful, with her long, shiny blonde hair to her ocean blue eyes. She was literally stunning and no one could deny it.

You would think a girl like this would be married, have some kids, and would have a basic traditional lifestyle. But that's not the case here. Instead of finding love, she forced on school and worked her tail off to became a Organizational Psychiatrist in the matter of eight years.

She lives in this tiny, brick apartment; right in front of their college with her two roommates.
Her roommates have been trying their hardest to find Harleen a boyfriend but all she is worried about was her new job that starts tomorrow. She got hired at Massachusetts General Hospital to treat some patients. They're only giving her two patients at first to see how she does then go from there. To say she's excited was a understatement.

Monday, July 24th 2015. 10:45am

Today was her first day of work, she decided on trying to 'dress up' a little bit so she dressed herself in a black pencil skirt with a matching top and a gold necklace and last but not least a shinning black pairs of heels to match. Her hair was put up on a messy bun and she had red lipstick. A very very rare thing for her.

Harleen walked into her office and sighed happily at her desk. She already felt at home here. She placed her bag down beside her so she could take out her metal clipboard, notepad and a ballpoint pen.

Her first appointment started at eleven. She didn't have any background information on this patient cause the hospital hadn't gave her it yet since it was 'processing.' So basically she's screwed and will have to figure everything out on her out, hey look on the bright side, at least she loves a challenge.

11:30 am

Harleen was confused by this point. "Did the man cancel his appointment? No, he would've had to call in and the staff would've told me by now. Was today not the day she started. No, that can't be right it had to be today, I read over the paper this morning to check. Wha-"
All of the questions and concerns that filled her head came to a stop when the door started to open. She sighed in relief.

"Sorry I'm late, kinda got caught up" He said laughing, showing off his metal covered teeth. This dude was strange looking to her, green hair, covered in tattoos, metal teeth, what was wrong with this guy? (I mean she does help crazy people for a living soo ) None the less she smiled and stuck out her hand.

"Harleen Quinn, nice to meet you sir" She said

He gave her a high fave and sat down on the padded chair in front of her. "Hey, sweetie my names joker" He said spreading his long, blue jean covered legs as soon as his butt hit the chair.

She kept on smiling regardless of how much this bothered her. "So tell me what brings you here this evening?" She asked clicking the button on the bottom of the pen.

"Well, I found out you were the one that was gonna see me so I decided to come. I mean you're a good enough reason to come princess"

She rolled her eyes and sighed softly "I'm trying to be serious here.. I have no background information about you and I can't help you if you keep acting this way" She said her words sternly and seriously.

He laughed, his annoying and loud laugh filling the room. He was smiling, his silver teeth on display.

"Maybe you should just leave and we can try this again next week.. Your papers will be in then and this will be easier for both of us." She said closing her notebook and taking off her glasses putting them on the table.

He sighed and nodded "Sure.. I'm still gonna be as complicated." He stand up and runs a hand threw his hair "It's who I am. Maybe you're not professional enough to handle me"

She closed her eyes and breathed in deeply "I am professional and that's why I'm asking you to leave and come back next week.." She walked to the door and opened it. "Have a good day sir, I will you next week"

He nods and stand up heading to the door, his shirt was a white button shirt that was slightly baggy on him. "have a good day pretty girl" He smirked at her, cupping her cheek and then walked out.

She closed the door behind him and sat on the floor putting her head in her hands. "What the hell did I get myself into" She said feeling utterly annoyed.

What was wrong with this dude?
