~Two years later...~

Readers POV

There was a knock on my door. I didn't look up from my book

"Name and business?" I said.

"Captain, it's Eren Jaeger,  Corporal Levi sent me here" I suddenly jumped out of my seat and opened the door. I pulled him into a tight hug.

"Oh my god! Long time no see!" He hugged back then pulled away. He scratched the back of his head. "Where is Mikasa and the others?" I titled my head.

"They're still in the 104th trainees squad..." I nodded

"So why did Corporal sent you here?" I asked a bit curiously.

"He wanted you to watch me over while I clean the stables..." He sweat dropped.

"I guess, if thats what he wants.." I went back to my desk and and took my keys and my cloak. I walked out and locked the door.

"Come on" I said and started walking while putting my cloak on. He followed behind me. We first stopped at the cleaning supply closet. "Get what you need" he went in and got a few supplies.

When he was done he went back out. We started walking out.

I laid against the wall and looked up at the sky as a gentle breeze came in. Red and yellow tree leaves swayed in the wind. Some slowly danced its way down. I caught a leaf that was falling I front of me. I took a close look at it  for a minute or two the dropped to the floor.

I sighed and started space out. I remember the time when I first met Mikasa and Armin and Eren, and a few others. And how we hung out and had fun. But that was a few years ago....

"U-uh (y-y/n)!" I snapped my head up and saw Eren in front of me. "Why are you crying?" I titled my head, as I felt something run down my cheek. So I am crying.

"O-oh sorry.." I wiped my tears away. He poked my cheek and frowned. I walked behind him and pushed him back into the stables. "Keep working Jaeger" he kept on cleaning with a frown on his face. "And make sure it's spotless. Corporal will come down later to see how you did" I said seriously.

"Oi. (Y/n)" I turn around to see Levi, standing at a distance from the stables.  I quickly jogged over to him.

"Yes Levi?" I titled my head.

"New recruits are coming later. I want you to choose who you want to be in your squad." He said while handing me a few documents and papers. I took them and nodded.

"Ok" He patted the top my head softly and and walked back to the direction on the HQ. I walked back to the stables. I looked over the papers and sighed.

"(Y/n)...do you think I would be able to see my friends again...?" Eren said from inside the stables. I chuckled.

"I'm sure you will.."

*half an hour later*

"Ah finally done.." Eren came out and wiped his forehead with his sleeve. I took a look inside.

"Wow I'm impressed..." Everything was spotless. No dirt left in here. I gave him a smile. "Go tell the corporal you're done" I said. He nodded and walked to the HQ.

I heard some faint footsteps and chattering. I look at the direction of the noise. I saw the new recruits, along with Squad Leader Ness. I just chuckled at myself and looked away.

"Look it's (y/n)!" I turn my head back at the same direction, I was a moment ago. I saw Armin, Mikasa, and Jean running over to me. I smile softly and did a small wave. "its good to see you again (y/n)" Armin said, looking down at me smiling. Mikasa just smiled and patted my head. Jean did the same.

Then, Mikasa looked around and looked at me with a worried expression

"Where's Eren?" She grabbed my shoulders.

"Mikasa.. Calm down" he removed her hands from my shoulders, but he ended up being slapped.

"Did they hurt or touch him in any other way?" She clenched her fist. I looked behind her and saw Eren and Levi walking towards us.

"Um... He's right over there..walking with the corporal..." I finally said and pointed at them. Both Armin and Mikasa ran up to his. Levi just gave a 'tch' and kept on walking. He walked in the stables. I looked around. I wander where's Zack (my o.c) he's supposed to be here... I frowned a bit.

"What's wrong (y/n)?" I turned to Jean.

"Yeah..." I said in a low voice "I was just looking for a friend.."

"You looking for Zack..?"

"How did you know I was looking for him?" I titled my head. He just chuckled.

"Don't worry about that. He said he's joining military police."

"Oh really..." I mumbled

"You'll get to see him soon.." He was about to pat my head (again), someone slapped it away. "The hell was that for?" He rubbed his hand. I turn and saw Levi giving him a death glare. Jean walked away, cursing under his breath.

"Why did you do that?" I asked shaking my head. He stayed silent, staring at me with his emotionless face. I sigh and started walking back to the HQ. What's his damn problem?

I chuckled to myself as I enter the building. I walked to my office. I took out my keys and unlocked the door and went inside, closing the door behind me. I took off my cloak and put it behind my chair and sat down. I put the papers aside and looked at my hand.

There was a sunflower ring, on my right hand, on my pointer finger. A promise ring, given by Zack.

"Military police, huh?" I said to myself.
