3RD PERSON POV

4:00 pm

Ocean, along with some other people sat down on the chairs of the theater. They were all spread out between the first 3 rows. There were some tech people running around setting up lights and testing microphones. Robert walked out on the stage and jumped down. He approached Ocean. "Hey O, there are some of the tech crew are having difficulties with the lights, can you come backstage and help?"

Before Ocean could say yes a very excited fan from the row behind Ocean said, "I can help! I majored in theater and took classes on lighting design! I can help!" She looked to be around Ocean's age, maybe a year older. She was also definitely taller than her too, with an hourglass figure and long straight chestnut brown hair with emerald green eyes. Her makeup just made Ocean feel inferior

Robert looked at Ocean and could tell what she was thinking based on her facial expression when she looked at the girl. "Hey O, do you wanna stay here or do you wanna go backstage and hang out with everyone. They won't mind," He says, almost ignoring what the fan said. He held out his hand for Ocean to grab

The fan basically jumped over the seats to rush to Robert's side. "So, what needs to be fixed?" She asked. "Oh, where are my manners?" She added, it almost seemed like she was going to apologize to Ocean for bargaining in on their conversation. But instead, she introduced herself. "Hi, my name is Mary. Mary Susan," She shook his hands. "And you are?" She looked Ocean up and down like Ocean was her pray and she was finding the best way to attack

"I'm Ocean," Ocean says. She still gave the girl a kind smile because she didn't want to be as rude as Mary was. She wanted to give her a chance to be nice. "I'm Robert's friend,"

"There's my baby!" Mariah says, approaching Ocean. She immediately picks Ocean picks her up and hugs her. "I miss you!"

"I missed you too!" Ocean says, hugging back. "Even though it's been 1 day since I've last seen you,"

"Oh, you two are a lesbian couple? Weird," Mary says. She scooted closer to Robert and held onto Robert's arm

Robert took her arm off of his and went over to the 3 of them. "Hey, Mariah we're gonna head backstage to help the tech crews with the lights. He turned to Mary. "Sorry, only authorized members are allowed backstage," He says

"Hey but she isn't part of Starkid! She's part of the audience!" Mary exclaims, making a scene

Security came over and tried to get her to calm down but Mary insisted that she helped so security escorted her out

The trio sighed in relief that she was gone. "Come on, rehearsal is gonna start we should start helping with the lights," 

6:30 pm

After helping with the lights, Ocean sat down with the few people who also paid to see the rehearsals. They all watched the rehearsal, everyone enjoying it and cheering. Some people after got whisked away to get their hair and makeup done since they too would be walking down the red carpet with the rest of Starkid. Ocean, however, stood at the entrance of the hair and makeup station with Robert and Mariah

"So, I'm walking down the red carpet with Ocean. Robert, you can follow us," Mariah says, grabbing Ocean's hand and holding it

"Uh, since when?" Robert says. He crossed his arms and gave Mariah the stink eye

"I can walk with both of you!" Ocean says. She grabbed both of their hands. "Now come on, it's almost time," She saw most of the members of Starkid being ushered to the exit so they can walk the red carpet

 The three of them walked followed the others. They caught a glimpse of the line people were in to get inside the theater. Everyone lined up and were getting ready. Some people partnered up, others stood alone

Slowly people started walking, showing themselves to all the fans. Cheers and screams of joy were heard. Names were called and some people cried

When Ocean, Mariah, and Robert walked down the red carpet, people went feral

Some people thought Ocean was secretly dating either Mariah or Robert so seeing the three of them together, arms linked, with Ocean in the middle, people's suspicions grew

Though people were cheering, Ocean heard someone say, "Who's that?" The person pointed at Ocean

The person next to the said, "That's Ocean Kaneko! People think she's dating Mariah or Robert!"

They kept on walking down the red carpet until everyone was in the theater

8:00 pm

Everyone sat down in the theater and waited for the show to start

Ocean sat in the front row, looking up hurt her neck a bit but it was cool to see everyone close to her. A few months ago, just being in the theater would be mind-boggling. But sitting in the front row, with 2 people she was really close to? Past Ocean would die of excitement

Suddenly, Darren came out on stage and did his little speech. And soon enough the show had started. Ocean took pictures of the banner that said, "STARKID HOMECOMING" along with some parts of the stage to post on her story

She appreciated that they made medleys of all of their shows. It brought her to tears (A/N: I went to Starkid Homecoming and holy I wanted to cry)

Whenever Robert or Mariah was on stage, they'd wave or look at Ocean and smile. Ocean would smile and wave back. In all, Ocean was just vibing the entire show. She loved it so much that she was sure that she was going to download the entire show when she can buy it

And before she knew it, the show was over

10:00 pm

Everyone was filing out of the theater, some leaving and others got in line to get a drink or merch

Ocean got from her seat and headed over to the door that leads to the stage. The opening night party was going to be held there. She immediately saw Mariah and Robert talking. She smiled before running to them and she hugged Mariah first. "That was amazing guys!"

They hugged her back. "Thanks, baby," Mariah says. She shot a smug glare at Robert

Ocean pulled away from the hug and immediately hugged Robert right after. "I'm so proud of youuuu!" Ocean says, stretching out the end of 'you'

"Thanks," Robert says. He hugged her back, slightly picking her up off from the ground because of his height

Darren got everyone's attention. He gave a speech to everyone on how he's proud to see how far Team Starkid had come, how much he loves everyone, and basically he made a heartfelt speech. In the end he said, "Now let's party!" 

Then the rest of the night consisted of partying, dancing, drinking, and eating

12:00 pm

Ocean, Mariah, Robert, and Jon all got out fo the theater. Ocean had a bag of all the Starkid Merch she bought before leaving. She looked at the other three. She smiled knowing that she made friends with the people she used to idolize. She took out her phone and opened the camera. "Say cheese!" 

Mariah, Robert, and Jon all smiled. Ocean took the picture. She smiled when she looked at the picture. "I love you guys. You're all my best friends in California," She says. "Thanks for making me feel so special,"

"Hey, it's nothing. I've known you since high school," Mariah said. "And you're my neighbor. I love you Ocean!" She went over to Ocean and hugged her tight

"Hey, how could I hate you. You're always at my house and plus, you're like a little sister to me," Jon says. He pats her back and ruffled her hair

Robert just wrapped his arm around Ocean. "And you know how I feel about you. I adore you and I'm glad that I got stuck at your house. I could never imagine if we weren't close," He hugged her

When the 4 of them got to the parking lot, they waved goodbye and exchanged hugs before getting in their respective cars. 

Ocean, Robert, and Jon all got in Jon's car. With Robert and Ocean in the back and Jon driving. During the car ride, Ocean fell asleep on Robert's shoulder

12:45 pm

Jon woke up Ocean and told Robert to get out of the car. The three of them all walked into the house. "Come on beautiful, let's go get you changed," Robert said

"But mommmm," Ocean says, dragging our the 'm'

"No funny business okay!" Jon says. He walked to his room and went to bed

Ocean and Robert, who didn't have much to drink, laughed at Jon's remark. "Come on you take the bathroom first, then we'll switch," Robert says

"Yes sir!" Ocean says. The two of them walk into Robert's room. Ocean got her sleeping clothes and went into the bathroom to change. She took off her dress and put on her sleeping clothes. She took off her makeup, brushed her hair, and brushed her teeth before she left the bathroom

When she left she looked at Robert. Robert was facing his closet. He took out some clothes and threw them on his bed before he unbuttoned his shirt. He turned around to see Ocean standing there. He didn't have a 6 pack but you could tell he has been working out. And his arms, great for hugging

Ocean stood there. Her cheeks were red and she felt frozen in place. "U- uh, you can use the b- bathroom now," Oceans, trying to control herself. On the outside she was flustered and on the inside, she felt excited and bubbly, for some reason

"Alright," Robert said. He grabbed his clothes from his bed and walked over to Ocean. He decided to tease her. "Hey, if you want, you can borrow one of my button-ups. I think they would look cute on you," He winked before walking into the bathroom 

Ocean stood there for a few more seconds. She tried to process what just happened. She eventually snapped out of it. "Two can play at that game," She whispered. She took one of his button-ups, a simple white one. She took her shirt off, put on a bra (cause if you sleep with a bra on I just want to know, H O W), and put on the button-up. She kept the top 3 buttons unbuttoned so it could show her bra, but only if you look down at her. She didn't know what to do about the sleeves so she just left them over her hands like an oversized sweater. She sat down on Robert's bed and waited

Robert walked out of the bathroom and saw Ocean on his bed. "You really do look cute," Robert said.  He walked over to her and stood in front of her. "Wow," He said. "You can keep it if you want, you'll use it more than me anyway," 

"Aw, thank you. I'll give you this," Ocean says. She placed her hands on his cheeks and brought his down to give him a kiss

Robert loss his balance and fells onto the bed, with Ocean underneath him. Once he fell, the kiss started to escalate into a make-out session

They pulled out for air and they both looked at each other. They smiled before Robert gave her a little peck on the lips. "I need to sleep baby," He says. "Good night," He got up from being on top of her

Ocean felt a bit disappointed but respected it, she got off from his bed and went to her little sleeping area on the floor
