"Ugh, I hate stupid Mr. McCabe - like who gives math homework on stuff that makes no sense?" I seethed quietly as I entered my room from the kitchen.

I angrily started getting out my math binder containing my repulsive homework. "Okay, it's only thirty problems!" I tried to convince myself.

My thoughts were interrupted by the sounds of snickering. I turned around quickly and saw Jayce standing there looking quite nice if I do say so myself.

"Can I help you?" I asked once he was finished laughing for who knows whatever reason, taking a seat in my swivel desk chair.

"Why are you talking to yourself again?!" He blurted out while laughing at the end. Rude.

"Because I can. Are you jealous I wasn't talking to you?" I grinned smugly, that'll show him.

"Ha, funny, why would I be jealous when you're talking to me right now?" he asked smirking knowingly. Welp there goes my confidence

"Whatever, is there a reason you're even here?" I grumbled turning around to do my work.

"what do you mean I'm always here?" he stated still smirking.

"You know what I meant Jayce" I mumbled blushing. Tha-that dummy! Always making me
blush...

"Oh yeah, I came to tell you that Keith said he needs ten bucks so he can buy pizza for dinner."

Goodness, why doesn't he just use his own freaking money? I groaned internally as I made my way over to my dresser to get my wallet. So much for saving for the movies next weekend.

As I turned around, about to start walking over to Jayce, I ran smack in the center of his chest. W-wasn't he right over there a minute ago?

I slowly backed away as I feel my face heat ablaze. Quickly ducking my head down, I mumbled out a, "here" before hastily handing him the money.

H-he's still standing there...

I risk a glance as I peek up at him through my lashes and saw him smirking down at me which only made me blush harder. Finally, after like forever, he let out one of his mouth watering chuckles and leaves.

I let out a deep breath I didn't know I was holding and walked back to my desk and actually started my homework.

I was about fifthteen minutes in when my phone started ringing. Without looking at the caller ID because only one person calls me around this time, I answered the phone.

"Hello?"

"Hey, I was wondering what you would say if I told you that Logan may or may not have asked me out after school today?" Peyton, my best friend, asked excitedly.

"Um I'd say finally it's about time you two realize you have feeling for each other - I mean seriously do I have to do everything?" I fake complained while placing my other hand over my heart.

"Shut it Cam, this is not something to play around about. Anyway how are things going with you know who?" she asked and I can literally hear her grinning.

"Uh normal I guess just a little more blushing today".

"Cameron the pizza is here. Go get it" Keith shouted from somewhere in the house.

I immediately rolled my eyes at the lazy piece of shit. I turned my attention back to my phone call briefly "Ughh hold on a sec Peyton", I moved my phone from my ear, "go do it yourself ya butt!" I shouted back.

"No I'm busy so hurry up," he yelled sounding annoyed. Ugh, why do I have to do literally everything?

"I'll call you back," I said to Peyton then hung up without waiting for a response. I sigh making my way to Keith's room to snatch my money back. "Oh it's by the front door," he mumbled showing lack of interest in the conversation.

I rolled my eyes and went to the front door. Right as I opened it the delivery guy was just about to walk away.

"Wait uh I'm sorry about the wait here-" I said handing him the money quickly.

"It's cool man have a good one and enjoy your pizza," he smiled then left, I closed the door and turned around to see Keith along with Jayce staring at the pizza box like it was the last thing on earth.

"Oh no please not again," I thought as they came running towards me and tried to grab the box.

"Let me at least put it on the counter," I whined, quickly walking to the kitchen only to have Jayce stop me.

"No, we're going to all eat this in the living room together," he said looking right into my eyes. I gulped and turned around, well this is going to be interesting.
