Jayce's Pov

  As I walked into school Monday morning all my mind could think about was Cam and it was driving me insane. And it's not fair, I never asked to think about him twenty-four seven instead of study for my history test.

I sighed as I arrived at my locker but it wasn't a disappointed sigh more like the annoyed one at that. And I know that's mean but I honestly don't want to see Cam today.

He just doesn't understand what it's like to have someone on your mind all day everyday day and there's nothing you can do about it for fear of saying something you'll regret later. Ugh.

   "Heyyyyyy Jayce," said my ex-girlfriend Aria. She's actually pretty chill considering we broke up two months ago and she's not one of those psycho exes which I'm grateful for.

  "Hey, Ari what's up?" I asked as I put in my combination in for my locker.

"Nothing much I was just wondering if you wanted to talk since you look pretty down?" Was I really that obvious? Dang and here I was thinking I was good at hiding my emotions.

"Um that's ok I'd per-" suddenly out of the corner of my eye I see Cam walk in. He looks kind of pissed and I faintly heard him singing.

I put my attention back on Ari and finished my sentence. "-no but thanks" she looked at me suspiciously for a moment then continued.

  For a minute I was listening but then as I look to my right I see Cam talking to some guy who I've never seen before. Who is that and why is he talking to my Cam?

   I completely shut out Ari and tried to eavesdrop on their conversation but didn't accomplish anything as I felt a hand hit the side of my head...hard."Owww what the hell Ari!!" I hissed as I rubbed the part of my head she just abused.

"Pay attention next time, I mean is whatever you're thinking about that serious to the point to where you can't even listen to me ramble?" I just glared at her like my life depended on it to keep myself from yelling at her. I swear she can be so stupid sometimes.

"Ok, obviously it is so how about I lighten up the mood eh?" I gave her a blank stare indicating I didn't want to talk anymore but she continued anyway.

"How about a joke?" she suggested wiggling her brows. Before I could even answer she continued

"ok ok, why didn't the toilet paper cross the road?" She asked as her face lit up and she started jumping around excitedly.

"I don't know Ari" I sighed "because it got stuck in the crack!!!!" She shouted laughing hysterically.
Honestly, her joke wasn't even that funny but she's one of those people who have terrible jokes but you laugh anyway because their laugh itself is hilarious.

I started laughing along with her which caused her to laugh even more to the point to where she was on the floor crying her eyes out.

   I leaned over clutching my stomach since it's now starting to physically hurt from laughing this much. People from around us started staring at us and that made me laugh harder.

~*Chime noise*~

As soon as I heard the bell my laughing ceased and Ari started to calm down too. "..wasn't...that funny?..." I smiled at her and shook my head.

"Bully!!" She pouted and then punched my arm hard yet again.

"Could you stop abusing me!" I shouted playfully but I was kinda serious. "Nope" and with that, she grabbed my arm and pulled us to our first period of the day, math

Keith's Pov:

  "What do you think was wrong with Cam?" Layla asked as we walked out of our first class which was math,intertwining our fingers.

"He probably is still mad because of Keith I guess" she looked thoughtful for a second before she replied.

"Well they weren't talking to each other today and they were giving each other nasty glares so maybe something deeper than we think is going on". Now that I think about it they were.

"Yeah  I mean they never get in fights or anything..." I trailed off thinking of something reasonable.

"They must like each other, I mean it makes so much sense now." Layla suddenly decided. I stared at her confused and she continued.

   "Okay, so your brother is obviously gay since you figured it out last year and I knew from the moment you introduced me to him." How does that mean him and Jayce like each other? And as if reading my thoughts Layla continued.

"Well, honestly I don't have a real reason I just have a very strong feeling one of them likes the other but won't admit it!!" Before I could respond Peyton came from behind us and pulled us into an empty hallway.

Wait did the bell ring already? "What is it now Peyton?" I asked irritated that she keeps interrupting me and my babycakes.

"Look I was walking behind you two and since you two walk very slow I decided to walk around you but then you..." she trailed off pointing to Layla "...said you think they like each others plus I knew y'all were talking about Cam and Jayce. And as I continued listening I heard everything you both said so we need a plan to fix whatever is happening between them" I looked at her then back to Layla and sighed.

Why couldn't we just let them figure it out on their own jeez? Suddenly I noticed Layla and Peyton glaring at me. Oh, I said that out loud didn't I...oops.

   "Because if we don't neither will they and they'll continue to ignore each other and then they'll stop being friends and then they'll start hating each other and the-" God she's so fucking annoying!!!!!

"Ok, I get it, damn" I shouted. Layla came up to me and gave me one of her 'mood calming' hugs and while putting her head in the crook of my neck.

  Ughhhh I love her so much!!!! When we pulled away slightly she said, "let's help them be friends again or maybe more so they can be happy again ok?" I nodded and pulled away completely but licked her nose like a puppy before I did.

  She giggled and wiped her nose off before standing by my side and interlocking our fingers once again. When I looked back to Peyton I saw her shaking her head and smiling. "What?" I asked confused

"You guys are so gross but I guess a cute couple" Aww she thinks we're a cute couple!!! Suddenly Layla and I lunged forward and hugged Peyton to death.

  "Ewe get off me you vermins!!" I laughed along with Layla and we backed away.

"You know you love us," Layla said giggling.

"Yeah whatever let's come up with a plan already so I can go nap in Mr. Spave's class," Peyton said trying to hide her grin. Well, I guess it's operation cayce time.
