Rainbow Dash's POV

"Pinkie! Haha, stop!" I tried breaking free, but it was too much for me to handle.

"I can't Dashie, it was a dare!" Pinkie said, continuously tickling me.

"AJ, make her stop! Hahahahaha!"

"Naa, it's too funny. Just a little longer Rainbow. Ah'm enjoying your sufferin'" Applejack said, laughing right after.

"I'll get you, haha, Applejack! Hahaha!" I yelled while laughing. Applejack laughed again and rolled her eyes a little jokingly.

"Fine, fine. Pinkie, let 'er go."

"Ok!" Pinkie lets go of me. I get up and glare at Pinkie.

"What? It was a daaare!"

I nod and get up. I dust off and shoot a glance at Applejack. I grin and run towards her, tackling her to the floor while she sat. I grabbed a pillow and hit her on the head with it. She laughs and flips me over, then grabs the same pillow and hits me back. I push her off, making her sit. I sat too and grabbed a small table. I put my elbow on it, putting my arm in an arm wrestling pose. AJ grabbed my hand and smirked at me.

"You're on!" Applejack said.

We then started arm wrestling, staying in the middle. It barely even moved for a while. I started bringing her down but Applejack made it go back to the middle. Everyone was around us watching us arm wrestle.

"This is amazing, you two have about the same amount of strength. You two have been going at it for a minute!" Twilight watched in amazement, sometimes looking at me, then at Applejack. I smile a little at her stares at our hands.

After a while, Rarity and Pinkie get up.

"We're going to go pick up the pizza. Do any of you want anything else?" Rarity asked, getting her stuff.

"Sure, some soda please!" I say struggling. "Come on Applejack, you know you're tired!"

"Ah am not! Y...Ya'll sure look like ya are!" AJ responded.

Pinkie and Rarity left, leaving the rest of us waiting.

"Do they always do this?" Twilight asked Fluttershy.

"N...Well, yea actually. They only last for about ten minutes." Fluttershy responded.

"Hey, Shy, you and Twilight should make some tea. You do make the best, Twilight might want to help. I would help but I am a little busy," I said smiling, but not looking away from AJ.

"That sounds like fun! Do you want to go Fluttershy? We have some tea stuff we could use. My mom makes tea, that's why we have some," Twilight said. I smiled again and looked over at them, watching Fluttershy smile and nod.

"Ah Win!" AJ yelled, slamming my hand on the table.

"Ow, hey! No fair! I got distracted! Applejack!" I continued. She laughed and came over to my side and put her arm around my shoulder while I crossed my arms.

"Ah Rainbow, don't be such a sore-loser. Besides, we would be here for hours if Ah didn't win. Now come on, let's go help with the tea." AJ got up and followed Twilight and Fluttershy.

"Ugh, fine." I sigh and follow them to the kitchen.

Twilight's POV

We had the tea heating on the stove while we talked. Rainbow Dash was talking to Fluttershy, and I was talking AJ. I nodded to what Applejack was saying. She was saying she would make me an apple pie from her farm since I asked after she told me her family makes the best.

"So what are we gonna do? You know, for fun?" Rainbow asked.

"I hadn't really thought about it. Well, I did. I had a whole list of things we could do. Here," I said, handing the list to Rainbow.

"A fort?" She asked while smiling.

"A fort? I don't remember writing that. Then again, it does sound fun." She smiled and nodded.

"Cool, although,  if we do, it's gonna have to be pretty big, since there are six of us."

"Um, hi, excuse me? Are you seriously trying to make a fort without me, and with other people?! Twilight, this is our thing here, we share forts, we share friends." Spike came out from the dining room.

"Oh, hey Spike, I thought you went with dad for the weekend."

"I thought I would too but he forgot to come pick me up." He sat down on the table crossed his arms on it.

"Mom also left to work. I thought it would just be you and me but I guess not." He stood up and walked over to Fluttershy and looked up at her. "I guess it's fine though. As long as I can stay." He gave everyone his little puppy dog eyes.

"Girls, this is my brother Spike. Spike, this is Rainbow Dash, Fluttershy, and Applejack."

"Nice to meet y...," He got interrupted by Pinkie bursting through the door with a bag of marshmallows.

"And Pinkie Pie!!" She ran towards Spike and grabbed his hand, shaking it vigorously. His eyes went wide while she shook it, then she stopped.

"Hey P...Pinkie Pie," he said, gaining back his balance.

"And Rarity, who looks like she can't carry all those bags of...flour," I said as she came in, struggling.

"I'll help," Spike said, taking two bags of flour and putting them on the counter.

Applejack and Rainbow helped her with the other five.

"Pinkie, why did you get so many bags of flour?" Rainbow asked, grabbing one of them.

"It's one for each of us silly!" She took a bag of flour and hugged it.

"But, how did you know we would be seven?" I asked confused.

"Just a hunch!" She said happily.

I scratched my head and shrugged it off. Fluttershy turned off the stove and moved the teapot onto a small towel. I pointed to where the teacups were. She grabbed a couple and served everyone tea.

"Thanks," Spike said, taking the cup happily.

"Wow, your right, this is good," Applejack said, sipping it again. I nodded in agreement.

"Told you," Rainbow said laughing.

Pinkie finished her tea and held out her cup, then Fluttershy gave her some more. Pinkie gulped it all down.

"So when do we make the cupcakes?!" She hugged her bag of flour tighter.

"Don't we need more than just flour?" I asked her.

"Yep!" Pinkie exclaimed.

"Everything is in the car." Rarity pointed towards the door, signaling the car. I nodded and went outside to get everything, the girls, and Spike, following.

"Woah...hey Pinkie girl?" Spike called out.

"Yeeeea?!" She asked, standing next to Spike.

"Don't you think it's a bit too much?"

There was a pile if five sugar bags, another of egg cartons, a bunch of different fruit, mostly berries, and a couple of spices. I hope this doesn't make a too big of a mess.

"Hey Twilight, how many cupcakes are we making exactly?" Spike looked up at me worried.

"Well, I kinda thought we were just gonna make one or two batches."

"What? Is that even enough for all of us?!" Pinkie asked, worried.

"Darling, she's right. The only reason you got so much was that I didn't want to get out of the car. Let's go return some of it, shall we? We also forgot to get the pizza so we should go." Rarity was about to close the back door when I stopped her.

"Wait! Um...let's get the things we're holding on to. Then you can take the rest back to the store." Pinkie looked at me thinking but smiled and nodded.

We started taking in the fruits, mostly berries, although Applejack insisted on keeping the apples. Pinkie held onto two bags of sugar then took them inside. Spike took the eggs inside, of course, I told him to be careful but he just rolled his eyes and took them inside. Fluttershy took in the milk and brought back four of the flour bags. Rarity....I think she was touching up her makeup. Rainbow just let her. She seemed like she was used to it. I got the spices.

When we were done getting everything, Rarity and Pinkie got back in the car and left to take what we left back. Also to get the pizza.

"Alright....so should I go get the blankets?" Spike asked smiling, you could tell he wanted to build the fort. We used to make them a lot but I started getting busy.

"Sorry, Spike. Yea, go get the ones from the closet."

When he left, I asked the girls to follow me to the dining room.

"What are we doing now?" Fluttershy asked quietly.

"We're gonna get the chairs for the fort." I grabbed one of the chairs and took it back to the living room. "There are six, let's get all of them and put them in a circle, leaving an opening for us to get in. I'll go get the pillows from upstairs." I started walking to the stairs, when someone stopped me, grabbing my wrist.

"I'll help," Rainbow said smiling. I nodded and walked up the stairs to the hall closet. "So how did you come up with the fort idea?" She asked.

"Um...I don't remember. I don't even remember writing tha...wait. Spike!" I yelled. Rainbow laughed and shook her head.

"It's fine, I was just asking. Besides, I haven't built one since my cousin left. He moved across the state. He used to live next to us. This'll be fun." I smiled and nodded

We got the pillows and went downstairs where I saw Spike showing his red and yellow bird to Fluttershy. She seemed to be enjoying it too. Applejack was sitting on one of the chairs, talking on the phone, I guess with someone named Applebloom.

"What's up AJ?" Rainbow asked, sitting in the chair next to her.

"Applebloom said that Scootaloo is mad at her and Sweetie Belle is mad at Scootaloo. Ah don't really know but you know them, they solve it in a couple hours so they'll be fine." Rainbow laughed with Applejack.

"Hello? Applejack? Why in the world are you laughing? Ah never said anything funny!" I heard a voice coming from the phone. I smiled while putting the pillows on the floor.

"We're back!" Rarity came in saying, in a singsong voice.

Pinkie came in skipping with a pizza box in her hand. She set it on the table, opening it, and taking a long, deep sniff of it. She smiled and grabbed one of the paper plates that came with the pizza. She grabbed a slice and dumped a packet of cheese and another of chili. She spread it out and took a big bite of it.

I checked the time when I heard a phone ringing.

"Who's phone is that?" I asked, looking around.

"Oh, sorry. That's mine." Fluttershy got up and went to grab her phone. "Hello? Mom? Hi...no it's fine. What's going on? Yea. What? Really? That's weird. But why? Oh...ok. Yea, I'll tell them. Alright, bye. Love you." She hung up and set her phone back down.

"Why did she call?" Rainbow asked.

"She said the school called and is canceled for tomorrow...and until they tell us we could go back."

"Did they say why?" Rainbow asked. Fluttershy shook her head. "It's fine. Better for us anyway. We have more time."

"Yes!" Spike yelled.

"Spike, you're in middle school. You're still going to school tomorrow." I said laughing.

"Oh," he said, grabbing a plate and serving himself a slice of pizza.

"Wait, he's in middle school? What grade? What school?" Rainbow asked.

"Um...Melody Middle School. Eighth grade."

"Hey, Sweetie Belle goes there, and in the same grade." Rarity said.

"Yea, Scootaloo, and Applebloom do too. They take the bus though." Rainbow said.

"No, I usually walk. I live too close to take a bus." Spike answered.

"Cool, I'll tell Scootaloo to look out for you," Rainbow said smiling.

"Hey! Let's make the fort!" Pinkie exclaimed smiling wide, jumping up and down.

"Yea!" We all yelled at the same time, all of us laughing after.
