"....and that's why we came to you. Can you help us?" I finish telling Chiron our story.

He looks at me for a second and then says,"You will need to go on a quest. This is more serious than you think. Go talk to the Oracle. Travis and Conner will be accompanying you on your journey."

Well that was sudden, but I'm okay with it. Travis and Conner can be annoying, but I actually like them under all that "hate". I might like Travis a little more though... I run over to Rachel's cave to go talk to her.

"Rachel? I need a prophecy!" I call into the back of the cave.

"Okay here you go," Rachel says like a prophecy is something you can give out like candy. I've never seen her do one so I'm not prepared when green smoke pours out of her mouth and she says in a different voice:

"A foe to face that cannot be beat

kneels down at sons of trickery's feet,

An apple of gold stolen from Hera's garden,

Bribe to the enemy, followed to death,

A dip in the river shall wipe clean your slate, and bring about an empty plate,

To love or war, the glass will break, and one of the three feelings will quake."

Suddenly Rachel's voice turns normal.

"What did I say?" I repeat the prophecy to her, only leaving out the last line. "Well I don't know of a "foe who can't be beat", but the golden apples of immortality are found at the Garden of Hesperides. You must have to go there. I can't figure out the rest though, but I know someone who can.

"Okay," I reply. I've been talking to a lot of people about this. I was kind of hoping to keep it a secret, but thats okay. Rachel takes me by the hand and we walk over the the canoe lake. A girl with long hair braided at the sides sits at the edge of the water.

"Hi Rachel! Hello Katie!" Piper calls to us.

"Hey Pipe!" Piper and I had gotten close over the summer. She would come to the strawberry fields when she was missing Jason, and one day I stumbled upon her. "I could use some love advice. I know that it's not your favorite thing to do, but this is important." I repeat my story and the prophecy to Piper, and she is silent for a minute, thinking about what I had said. Finally she says, well I think you need to use the golden apple to bribe Liam to swim in the River Styx with you. Maybe that's how to unbind a swear."

"Well, we can only try! I'll go find Travis and Conner to tell them about the quest. But I'm not going to tell Travis about why I need to end the swear- so I can confess my love to him." I say goodbye to Piper and Rachel, and walk towards the Hermes Cabin. I just hope that Travis and Conner are actually there because we need to get going before its too late. I don't know if I will be punished for just falling in love or for telling Travis. I certainly don't want to find out.
