I was actually so excited for the trip to Hogsmeade, and I had to restrain myself from telling my friends about it. On our way to the minuscule village, I was practically shivering with excitement. That morning, I had woken up early to rush to the bathroom to bathe, do my hair up in a fancy style, and put on mountains of high-end makeup. The few people sitting in the common room by the fire, having pulled an all nighter to prepare for finals, which weren't for another week, snickered as I walked by. I tried not to let it phase me, but it was hard sometimes (all the time). Perhaps Hufflepuff is thought of as the nice house, but we weren't perfect, and according to my housemates, I was the most imperfect of them all. Having a group friends helped a bit, but I hadn't told anybody about my, well, problems.

As soon as we got to Hogsmeade, I was off. Nobody noticed my absence, of course. I wasn't the type of person to be missed. Racing through the melting snow to the ally, I began to wonder if I should have told anybody where I was going.

They won't believe you anyway. Nobody believes you after last time.

Shut up!

I reached the building, and slipped around the side to the back, where the bins of trash were kept. Wrinkling my nose at the scent, I looked around for anyone that looked like a Witch Weekly staff member. Seeing nobody, I decided to sit on the short stone wall that surrounded the lot. It faced the wooden side of the restaurant, which I now stared in despair, thinking that the magazine had chosen somebody else to be on the cover.

What was that? I swear something just rustled in the leaves behind me!

Oh for the gods sake, please stop. You're imagining it. Again. And they will find out. Again. Except for this time, they won't be so nice.

What are you talking about? They weren't remotely nice last time...

Then everything went black.
