I believe that everything happens for a reason. People change so that you can learn to let go, things go wrong so that you appreciate them when they're right, you believe lies so you eventually learn to trust no one but yourself, and sometimes good things fall apart so better things can fall together.

~14 days left for the wedding~

Mridula's POV

South Mumbai

Putting my palms on my knees as I bent down a little to catch my breath. Currently I was jogging around the mansion in my black sports bra, a white tank top with black workout tights and white sneakers. My long slick black hair was tied in a high ponytail and I had my wireless earplugs on which was blasting music from Alan Walker, Enrique Iglesias, Ariana Grande and Selena Gomez. And the current track playing was Taki Taki ft Selena Gomez which was my current favourite workout track.

Third of June, that means there are only fourteen days left for Yuvraj and my wedding and for my birthday, both of which are on the same day. And today the Singhania's and Johnson's are arriving at Mumbai for the next function which is going to be held in Mumbai.

And I'd be lying if I said I was not nervous!

Sighing, I concentrated back on my jog. After an hour, I went back inside the mansion and went to the gym where I worked out for half an hour. After my workout session, I walked back towards the living room.

"Good morning Mia!" I heard Dada and turned around to find him coming back from his early morning jog in his sweatpants and a red tight t-shirt.

"Good morning dada!" I greeted him back with a smile. He nodded and we walked upstairs.

"So when is Yuvraj coming today?" He asked as he sipped from his protein shake.

"Um maybe by 1 in the noon! He had told me that they will be boarding at 11 or so!" I said. Dada hummed.

"I will go to fetch them from the airport and then drop them at Sunil uncle's house!" He said.

"Oh thank you! That's so sweet dada! But you don't have to! Sunil chachu must be sending cars for them!" I said.

"Oh! No worries! Still I will just welcome them to Mumbai I guess! You coming?" He asked.

"Sure! I will be ready!" I said as we reached in front of my room.

"Hm!" He hummed and went forward towards his room. I pushed the door open to my room and went in before closing the door behind me.

Putting the ear pods and my phone away on the bedside table, I sat down on the bed as I took off my shoes. Then I took off my tank top and let the AC temperature dry my sweat off so that I can take a shower.

After some minutes, I got up and grabbed a towel before walking inside the washroom. I took a shower and came out wearing a bathrobe. I went to the closet room and took out my outfit for today which was a blue kurti with white jeans and a pair of baby blue pumps. Then I walked downstairs to the kitchen and made scrambled eggs and french toast for breakfast.

The maids took the dishes to the dining table as I washed my hands and made my way out towards the dining hall.

"It smells amazing Mia!" Subho maa said as she gave me a hug.

"Yeah! Come, take your seat! Where is dada?" I asked.

"Here I am!" Dada said as he came inside.

"And we are here as well!" Mum said as mum and dad came into the dining hall.

"Good morning mum, dad!" I greeted them with kisses on their cheeks.

"Good morning sweetie!" Mum said as she kissed my forehead and sat down in her place.

Dad too did the same and took his seat beside me. Then we served ourselves and had our breakfast.

12:58PM IST, June 3rd
Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj International Airport
Mumbai, Maharashtra 400099

Dada, me and Sam were waiting for the Singhania's and Johnson's arrival since fifteen minutes and there is no trace of their jet till now. After dada and I arrived in the airport, we found Sam here as well. And she told us that she came here to fetch them back home.

Currently I was sipping from my iced caramel latte and Sam was drinking her chilled coke because the temperature of Mumbai has reached it's peak for today and we both felt like we will lose our consciousness. So looking at our pale faces, dada decided to get us some refreshments for which we are still standing on our legs. The ACs were on but the crowd and temperature outside didn't help much.

"When will they come? God! I am famished! And aaj hi itni jyada garmi honi thi kya? Hadd hai yaar!" Sam whined as she looked up at the ceiling of the airport like she is complaining to the god.

"I know right! Iss global warming ne toh sabki band baja rakhi hai!" I said glaring at the sun with squinted eyes.

"God! Shut up you two! Why didn't I come alone?! I am already losing my mind because of the weather and you two!" Dada exclaimed, throwing his hands in the air.

Sam and I glanced at each other and then turned back to dada whilst pouting with puppy eyes.

"Stop pouting you two! Especially you Mia because your in-laws are here!" Dada said pointing towards the terminal door. I pulled my pouty lips back in an instant hearing dada and turned to the side with a jerk.

I saw everyone coming towards us with smiles on their faces and the bodyguards following them with the luggages. My eyes went to Yuvraj who was wearing a tight black t-shirt with black ripped jeans, white sneakers and black Ray-Ban aviators. Sam's extraordinary squeal brought me back to real and I found Sam running to maa.

"Badi maa!" Sam exclaimed as she hugged maa making her laugh.

Smiling I too moved forward and touched maa and papa's feet as they gave me blessings. Then I greeted Nicole and Robert. After that I hugged bhabhi, Duggu Bhai, Sid jiju, Sahil bhaiya and Shanaya. Then Yuvraj came and hugged me tightly making me blush because of the teasing stares from all.

They thanked dada and me for coming to welcome them to the airport.

"Let's go guys, mum and dad are waiting for you all at home!" Sam said tugging at Maa and papa's hands.

"Okay okay let's go!" Papa said.

"Um! Guys, you all go, I will come back later!" Yuvraj said.

"Han han koi nahi! Tum jao Mia k saath apne lunch date mein! Hum sab jaate hein ghar! But jyaada der mat karna!" Bhabhi said teasingly making the others laugh.

"Bhabhi!" Yuvraj frowned.

After that all of them left leaving me, Yuvraj and dada at the airport.

"Here! Take my car, I will call my driver to bring me another car! Go and enjoy your lunch!" Dada said as he gave his car keys to Yuvraj.

"Are you sure?" Yuvraj asked.

"Yeah don't worry! Go and enjoy!" Dada said with a smile.

Yuvraj put his hand on the small of my back as he led me out of the airport towards the car. He opened the passenger side door for me and after I sat down he came and sat on the driver seat. Then we drove off.

He took my hand with his one hand as the other hand controlled the steering wheel of the car. Bringing my knuckles to his lips, he kissed my every finger delicately.

"I've missed you so much!" He muttered sniffing my wrist which made me giggle.

"It's tickling Yuvi!" I said as I tried to bring my hand back but he didn't budge.

Instead of leaving my hand, he smirked and sniffed my wrist more which made me laugh hysterically. He smiled and kissed my wrist and entwined our fingers before putting our joint hands on his thigh.

"Did I say how beautiful you're looking today?" He asked glancing at me sideways occasionally.

"Yeah you did! At least 100 times since you arrived!" I said as I rolled my eyes when I remembered how many times he has already whispered in my ears that how beautiful I was looking today.

"Hm! It's worth it because you're looking gorgeous!" He said.

"Why thank you!" I said tucking my hair away.

"So, excited for tomorrow?" He asked.

"Very! I love the Haldi function most out of all the other ceremonies of an Indian wedding!" I said nodding my head.

"Hm! I am excited too!" He said.

After some time, we stopped in front of a pizza restaurant in lower parel and had pizza, lasagna and cheesy garlic bread before he dropped me back at my home and drove back to Sunil Chachu's home.

After greeting my parents, dada and Subho maa, I went to my room to take some rest. They had already had their lunch as I did inform them about my lunch date with Yuvraj. Changing into a comfy pair of top and shorts, I dragged myself to the bed and drifted off to a deep slumber as soon as I hit the bed.

04:12PM IST, June 3rd

It was 4pm in the afternoon when mum decided to wake me up from my snooze lovingly. I woke up snuggling my head on her lap. After waking me up, she left the room and I too got down from the bed and walked into my washroom. I used the washroom and washed my face and hands and dried them off before walking out. Sauntering inside the walk-in closet,I stripped off my comfy clothes and wore a ruffled tulle and corded lace mini dress with a pair of slippers.

Keeping my hair down, I applied some sunscreen before walking downstairs with my phone in my hand. I didn't see anyone in the living room, so shrugging it off I went out towards the garden at the backside of the mansion. Taking off my slipper, I stepped onto the wet grass that has been watered by the gardeners. The grass on my soles was so soft. And it tickled gently as the wind brushed each strand which moved to the rhythm of the summer breeze as easily as my raven black hair which shone under the shining sunlight.

Our garden is filled with different types of local and exotic flowers. Frangipanis, Butea Monosperma (flame of the forest), Ganges Primrose, jasmine, sunflowers, fox brush orchids, dahlia, magnolia, daylily, red, black, pink, blue, yellow and peach roses are some of the common flowers present in our garden.

I gently caressed the petals of frangipanis, one of the most beautiful and exotic flowers found in India. Known for their sweet fragrance and pure white color, they have been recognized as one of the world's most precious and exotic flowers. Even though they are delicate to look at, but by nature they are quite tough. They can survive heat and drought during any time of the year and still manage to look bright and beautiful at all times. Then my eyes went to the beautiful shiny white flowers which looked so much more pretty with the little water droplets on their petals.

Flowers tell us about the beauty of nature. They tell the story about living in the moment and spreading happiness. After all, who can keep from smiling when gifted with a beautiful bunch of flowers?!

I was fascinated towards the nature and it's beautiful creation since childhood. And flowers were like a fresh gush of breath for me. So did mum! I got this liking towards the flowers from mum. She also adored the nature and natural beauty just like me. When I will not eat and will throw tantrums, mum would show or give me flowers and then I will do as she said. I would be just so immersed in the beauty of the flowers that I'd even eat pumpkin which I despised the most. Dad would bring me a flower when he will come back from his office.

Remembering those precious and beautiful moments, when I was only a small little girl and dad would carry me on his shoulder and mum would hold my hand and take me to the park every saturday to feed the fishes, dogs and ducks that swam elegantly in the river, brought a wide smile on my lips.

Smiling I wandered towards my favourite spot. It was a marble bench with headrest behind it, that dad made for me when I was a baby. I loved to spend my most of the time outside here in the garden. That's why, dad made this seat so I could spend my afternoons here doing my homework. Or sometime I would just spend some time alone sitting there, enjoying the evening wind and gazing at the flowers, birds and butterflies that roamed around the garden. Sometime, dad or mum would join me in the garden and will talk to me or will just spend some time with me.

"Mia! Sweetheart, come inside and have some snacks!" I heard Nirmala aunty calling me from the entrance of the mansion.

"Yes aunty! I'm coming!" I yelled back before standing up from the spot to walk into the mansion I grew up in.

Walking in, I was hit with the aromatic smell of mum's cooking, which always managed to intoxicate me.

It was better than every alcohol that has ever intoxicated me in my life!

Walking into the living room, I surprisingly found mum, dad, dada and Subho maa present on the couch whom I didn't see when I came downstairs.

The tea table was set up with many cooking pots and china plates that emitted their specific smells into the room, or the whole mansion. Falafel, cutlets, samosas and cookies with the yummy Indian tea made by mum almost brought drool out of my mouth, which was very unladylike.

Dada was laughing at some joke dad said whilst Subho maa and mum served the items into different plates. Dada was in his casuals whilst Subho maa and mum were wearing sarees and dad wore his formal wear which was a white shirt and grey slacks. And I knew that he just came from the office!

Business! A word very unfamiliar to me even when my father is a leading businessman of India. Being an only child, it didn't make any sense right? But that's how it is! From the very beginning! I was a girl who wasn't the slightest bit interested in the family's business. And my dad was totally cool about it when he got to know about it. He even appreciated my decision about being a doctor like my mum instead of taking care of his business. I enjoyed my study of medicine and I was glad that my dad supported me in my decision.

My train of thoughts were interrupted by dada calling me.

"Mia! Why are you standing there? Come here!" He called me, patting the seat beside him. Smiling, I walked towards him and sat down beside dada.

"What were you doing outside?" Dada asked as he put his arm on the headrest behind me.

"Just spending some time in the garden!" I said and he nodded as he understood me.

"Here Mia!" Mum handed me a cuppa and then sat back at her place beside Dad.

I took a sip from my tea and had some falafel and biscuits by the side. We talked and discussed tomorrow's schedule. We decided to watch some movies whilst watching the movie. Once we all settled on the cosy elephant grey couch, dada placed the blanket over us messily. We helped him straighten it out and covered ourselves with it as the living room lights dimmed and the curtains closed. Mum pressed the play button and the movie Godzilla vs Kong.

As the film commenced, I snuggled into dada wrapping my arm around his torso whilst he put his arm around me and kissed my hair.

"Hey don't tell me you're watching Ratatouille without me!" Varun Bhaiya whined like a child as he burst into our home out of nowhere.

"Oh Varun! Come beta! Join us!" Mum said.

"Of course I will aunty!" Varun bhaiya said as he plopped down beside me and wiggled his eyebrows. Smiling, I put the blanket over him as well and he snuggled close as we continued watching the movie.

"Yuvraj has sent something for you! He couldn't come, that's why he sent me! And yeah that dumbass forgot to give you in the morning!" Varun bhaiya whispered as I handed him a plate of snacks.

"Oh! What is it?" I asked, frowning.

"Laterrrr!" Varun Bhaiya muttered as he stuffed his face with the whole samosa and concentrated on the movie playing. I shrugged and did the same.

Two hours later, as the movie ended, all of us gradually got up from our places and straightened out our now stiff bodies.

"So what is it that Yuvraj sent for me Bhai?" I asked Varun bhaiya as soon as the others left the living room.

"Ohmygod! Patience little one! Patience!" He said and rolled his eyes as he got up and stretched his arms. Then he put his hands inside his jeans pocket and took out a tiny scarlet coloured velvet box.

"What is it?" I asked as Varun bhaiya handed me the box.

"How would I know? Waise bhi, that fucker did threaten me about not opening the box, sooo!" Varun bhaiya trailed off shrugging his shoulders.

I narrowed my eyes at him to which he tore his gaze away from me whilst looking here and there, anywhere but in my eyes.

"You saw what was inside , right?" I asked as I put my hands on my waist in a challenging way.

He gasped and his eyes jerked back to me.

"The fuck? How'd you know that?" He asked with his big eyes.

"Well! You're too obvious to guess!" I shrugged.

"Am I? Whatever! But please don't tell Yuvraj about it, or he will kill me like he has promised!" Varun bhaiya pleaded, joining his hands in front of me with his puppy eyes.

"Okay! I will not! But I have a condition!" I said, smirking.

"What condition?" Varun bhaiya asked as he backed away, gulping.

"You, my lovely brother, have to do something for me!" I said, smirking evilly, making him gulp in fear.

Currently I was sitting on my bed, gazing at the beautiful piece of art on my wrist that Yuvraj sent for me with a note that said something like this,

The piece is beautiful but it will look more beautiful if you wear it! Love, Yuvraj!

It was a beautiful blue alexandrite bracelet. Alexandrite is my birthstone and the stone I loved the most. After gazing for some more time I got up and took off the bracelet before putting it in its box and then placed it inside my jewellery box securely. Then I grabbed a towel and went to the washroom to take a shower.

Turning the tap on, I hummed my-all-time-favourite-bathroom-song shape of you.

The club isn't the best place to find a lover
So the bar is where I go
Me and my friends at the table doing shots
Drinking fast and then we talk slow
Come over and start up a conversation with just me
And trust me I'll give it a chance now
Take my hand, stop, put Van the Man on the jukebox
And then we start to dance, and now I'm singing like

I hummed the tune as I lathered my body with my favourite strawberry and milk shower gel.

Girl, you know I want your love
Your love was handmade for somebody like me
Come on now, follow my lead
I may be crazy, don't mind me
Say, boy, let's not talk too much
Grab on my waist and put that body on me
Come on now, follow my lead
Come, come on now, follow my lead

After coating every area of my skin, I allowed the water to wash all the white foam that was sitting on my skin, leaving only the scent of strawberries and milk to be absorbed on her.

Coming out in a towel, I searched for some comfy clothes to wear in my walk-in closet and finally took out a pair of blue track pants and a white cropped sweatshirt. After I wore my clothes, I walked to my full-length mirror and combed my hair. Combing my hair gently, till the knots were detangled I braid it loosely.

After that I wore my slippers and rushed downstairs to the kitchen only to find mum and dad romancing. A squeal left my mouth, as I turned around quickly and closed my eyes with my palms.

Dude! This is embarrassing! Catching your parents red-handed, romancing in the kitchen!!

Two more screams startled me and I knew that it came from my own parents.

"Sorry sorry sorry! I didn't see anything! I swear!" I said as I raised my hands up in a surrendering position whilst biting my tongue.

"You can turn around sweetheart!" Dad said and I sighed in relief before turning around.

Mum and dad, both of their faces were resembling the gravy mum was stirring right now, which was the red sauce for pasta I guess. Mum was shooting daggers at dad whilst he shuffled on his feet. I smiled and shook my head before walking towards the cute couple in front of me.

"So what are you cooking mum? It smells delicious!" I said to lighten up the awkward moment.

"Red sauce pasta and stuffed aubergine!" She said as I tasted the red sauce.

"Mm yummy! This is good mum! I can't wait! I will go and prepare the table!" I said as I washed my finger and wiped it off.

I grabbed the porcelain plates and cutleries before making my way out and dad followed me with a cooking pot in his hand.

Dad and I set the table whilst talking about here and there till Subho maa, dada and mum joined us. Then we all sat down at our places and served for ourselves. The dinner was delicious as usual and mum got a lot of compliments for it. After dinner, we hugged each other good night and went back to our respective rooms.

I came back to my room and closed the door behind me once I was in. Once I slipped inside the duvet, I was out like a dead body.

Haldi/ Gaye Holud Ceremony

Indian weddings are known for their larger than life decor and fun-filled traditions. Every ritual performed during an Indian wedding has a significance of its own and a reason behind its existence. One such ceremony of great importance is the 'Haldi Ceremony'. This ritual also happens to be among one of the most loved pre-wedding rituals as it is filled with fun and flare resulting in tons of beautiful memories to cherish. Since this is one of the most important pre-wedding rituals, it is always celebrated in the most extravagant ways. This ceremony promises maximum fun and giggles from start to end.

Turmeric, referred to as Haldi in Hindi, is a common flavor in Indian cooking and also a significant ingredient in the pre-wedding Hindu event known as the Haldi, or Pithi, ceremony. Known to possess anti-inflammatory, healing, beautification, antiseptic, and purification properties, Haldi is essentially a cleansing procedure for the bride and groom to be. It's beautiful mustard yellow hue is auspicious in Indian tradition representing a life of prosperity for the couple about to begin their new life together. A common reason why Haldi is used for this ceremony is to rid the couple of Buri Nazar, the Sanskrit term for evil eye. After the ceremony is completed, the Bride and Groom are expected to stay within the household in order to prevent all evil spirits.

The Haldi paste is the main element of this ceremony and hence getting it right is of utmost importance as it will be applied and rubbed on the groom and the bride. There is no room for error when it comes to this. The paste prepared on this day is referred to by different names across all states and caste. Tel Baan, Mandha, and Ubtan are a few names given to this Haldi paste depending on regions and states. Mix Haldi (Turmeric) with fresh rose water, milk, mustard oil, sandalwood powder (Chandan), almond powder, and lemon juice. Combine all of these ingredients well to get a mixture with a thick consistency. Properties of Haldi along with the bright yellow colour of the paste is said to make the bride and groom's skin glow and shine. This paste is generally made by the ladies of the house and is later applied to the bride and groom with the help of mango leaves.

The Hindus have always believed that the colour yellow is auspicious as per rituals & traditions. It is also believed that this bright and vibrant colour, when applied to the bride & groom before they start a new chapter in their life, will bring them good luck and prosperity. This sacred paste, when applied to unmarried people, is believed to bring them good luck in terms of marriage for their future. The old tales also say that when this sacred pasted is applied on the face & the body of an unmarried person, they will soon find a good life partner. Along with all of this, Haldi is also known for keeping away 'evil eye' or rather 'Buri Nazar' and hence this ritual is performed so that the bride & groom can be kept away from all the evil eye while they step on to begin a new chapter in their lives. There are ample of beliefs and significance of this ritual being performed at Indian weddings. From warding off the evil eye to brightening up to couples' skin and to bring good luck, the list could go on and on. It is also said that Haldi can alleviate the pre-wedding jitters that the bride and groom would be going through.

Apart from this, there is also some kind of science behind this ritual is performed. The curcumin that is present in Haldi is said to work like an anti-depressant that will help to calm and ease the nervousness the couple would be facing. So, as we can see, the science and significance behind this ceremony is never-ending. Haldi has multiple unique properties that are said to be really good for the skin. Applying Haldi on the skin during this ceremony will help to prevent the formation of acne of the bride and groom's face and will help in making their face look glowy and bright. It also works as an excellent exfoliating agent that will remove all the dead skin. All in all, it works like a good detoxifier for the skin. Haldi has characteristics that help to ease the nervousness among couples before they step foot for their new journey. Bride's and grooms generally face wedding anxiousness and stress before their big day and hence this ceremony helps them relax their mind. The Gaye Holud ritual validates the same. The groom first touches the turmeric paste that is sent to the bride's place. This paste is then sent to the bride's house to be applied on her. It's more than just a ritual where everyone shares laughter and love by applying turmeric paste on each other.

A Haldi ceremony is a fun-filled affair. A lot of friends and family members await this ceremony as it includes a lot of fun, laughter, and dancing.

Waking up to the sound of birds singing their melodious song, I got up to the embrace of the morning sun as I peeled the curtains away from the graceful french windows. Overlooking the front of the mansion, I gazed at the water fountain that stood in the middle as the cars would surround it. The ongoing water flowing from the top and landing in the basin looked so satisfying that I would remain staring at it. Hypnotised!

After taking a shower and brushing my teeth, I changed my clothes and packed my bag to leave for the hotel Sahara star where the ritual is going to take place.

Combing my hair, I was finally ready! Currently I was standing in front of the full-length mirror in my white full sleeved crop top, skinny dark jeans with a Gucci belt and my white sneakers.

"Mia! Are you ready?" I heard mum's voice along with her knocks on my bedroom door.

"Yeah mum! I am coming!" I said as I took out the alexandrite bracelet and wore it on my wrist before grabbing the bag and my phone.

Opening the door I came face to face with a very gorgeous looking mum. She was wearing a tan brown saree in silk beautified with colorful resham embroidered floral buttis and pairing it with a matching blouse with her hair in a updo hairstyle and minimum makeup on her face. She looked angelic!

"You're looking so pretty mum!" I gushed as I kissed her cheek.

"Thank you sweetie! You are looking beautiful as well! Come, let's go!" She said and I nodded. Then we both went downstairs together and a bodyguard took the bag from me.

As we went out of the mansion I found dad, dada and Subho maa outside near the cars. Dad was wearing a black suit with white shirt underneath it and black Armani shoes. Dada was wearing a sky blue shirt with black slacks and shoes and Subho maa was wearing a purple banarasi saree in silk with weaved floral mesh jaal and the borders adorned with floral design.

"Let's go?" Dad asked. We nodded and got in the cars and drove off to our next destination, Hotel Sahara Star.

Once the cars stopped in front of the hotel, we came out as the bodyguards opened the car doors for us and shielded us from the paparazzi. Then we were courteously welcomed inside the hotel by the hotel staff and the manager. Straight away, we were given the keys to our presidential suites and just as we got our keys, the Singhania's and the Johnson's arrived at the hotel.

We greeted each other with hugs and all. Then Duggu bhaiya took bhabhi to their suite so she could rest a little before the ritual starts. Yuvraj was dressed in a white t-shirt and blue jeans, twinning with me. As they also got their keys, we all made our way to the VIP lifts and went to the presidential suites floor.

As we reached our floor, we all came out of the elevator and made our way towards our respective suites. Mine was beside Yuvraj, so instead of going into his, he barged inside my suite.

"Yuvraj! What are you doing? Everyone must have seen you coming into my room!" I screeched, throwing my hands in the air.

Locking the door he turned to me with a dangerous smirk on his lips, which went shivers down my spine. His fiery gaze was so intimidating that it made me squirm at my place and avert my eyes away. Looking back at him, a warm feeling floated in the pit of my stomach as I assessed his extremely handsome features. He is handsome and I felt content that he is mine too. Sporting a small stubble, his pitch black hair which was brushed backwards gave him a unique yet hot appearance. The sharp jaw which I fascinate the most in him, took my breath away just like it did every other time.

"Take a picture darling! They stay longer!" His whispered voice in my ear made me jump at my place.

Hell! When did he come so close?!

When you were busy admiring his sharp jaw! My subconscious mind mocked me.

Oh shut up already!

"Where are you lost Meri Jaan?" He whispered again as his arm found it's way around my waist and got wrapped around it tightly.

"Huh?" I asked in confusion.

"What's in your mind?" He asked, caressing my cheek with the back of his fingers.

"That, how handsome you are!" I blurted out.

My eyes widened when I realised what I just said and I bit my tongue as my cheeks burned in embarrassment. I looked up from my eyelashes to find him glancing down at me in amusement with a smirk adorning on his lips.

"Why thank you baby!" He said cockily, making me roll my eyes.

"You look enticing!" He commented whilst holding my chin and making me look up at him whilst I muttered a small thank you.

The next thing I knew was the warm lips against mine, as he softly molded them against mine. But the kiss soon turned rough as he started biting my lips, earning a wince from me. He pushed his tongue inside my mouth and started kissing me like it was his breathing source. An involuntary moan escaped my mouth as my eyes widened in surprise. I could feel him smirking against my lips. He continued kissing me, sometimes biting me softly. After a few minutes, he finally parted and rested his forehead against mine as I breathed heavily trying to catch my breath.

"Guess that ruined your lipstick!" He said huskily.

I licked my lips and my eyes widened when I really didn't feel my lipstick.

"Don't do that!" Yuvraj groaned as he looked at my lips, ready to pounce anytime again.

"I will take my leave now, Get ready!" He said and pecked my forehead before leaving the room.

Sighing, I took off my sneakers and took a look around the suite.

Opulence, abundance, extravagance - three things that define this extremely spacious 1327-sq. ft. regal masterpiece. Luxuriously appointed, this suite comprises a living room, a dining room and a bedroom, opening up a whole new galaxy of indulgences for a privileged few. The well-stocked bar and the home theatre are available to give you company. The furnished balcony overlooking the tropical lagoon sets the perfect mood for you to kick-start the day with a scrumptious breakfast or wind up with a drink or two accompanied by soothing music. The airy living rooms, magnificent bedrooms with king-size beds besides exquisite furniture and fittings are just too perfect to kick start your day.

Walking inside the washroom, I found a fitted with a state-of-the-art Jacuzzi, complete with a bathtub, shower cubicle with rain shower, glass partition with motorized curtains.

A knock on the door echoed throughout the room. Sighing I walked towards the door and opened it to find room service with a trolley of food. After they left it inside my room, they left and I closed the door.

Sitting on the bed, I brought the tray on the bed and opened the lid to find a plate filled with several delicacies. Pancakes, fruit salad, waffles, omelette and coffee. The perfect breakfast I was craving for! I finished my breakfast with a burp which was so unladylike and then got up to get ready for the day. And that's when a knock on the door was heard.

"Yeah! Who is it?" I asked putting the water bottle away.

"Mia! It's us! Shree, Sam, Shanaya and the artists!" Sam said from behind the door.

"Yes coming!" I said as I walked towards the door and unlocked it. All of them got inside and closed the door behind them.

"Woah! Calm down ladies!" I said as I was being pushed behind by them as they barged in.

"Young lady! We have a function to attend if you're forgetting! How can you be so calm? Oh thank God, you had already eaten! Now come on, let's get you ready!" Shree said as she pulled me towards the bed where my luggage was kept.

"Yeah! Shouldn't you be the one who should be feeling wedding jitters?" Sam asked with a frown.

"Guys guys! I am nervous as hell and that's why I overate! And now you all are making me more nervous! If you don't want me to freak out and run away, then please for god sake stop going ballistic!" I said with wide open eyes as the nervousness flooded through my veins.

"You're right! You guys should calm down, you know!" Shanaya said looking at my other two besties weirdly.

Shree and Sam huffed as they sat on the bed and took deep breaths with Shanaya and me moving our heads up and down whilst looking at their breathing pattern.

"Okay we are alright now! Mia, let's go and do your makeup first! Come on girls!" Shree said as she pushed me towards the ottoman and made me sit on it whilst the other girls started their work.

After an hour, my makeup was done. With the slight orangish makeup and curly hair style, I looked like a princess.

"Ho gaya! Now Mia, go and change and call us if you need something!" Shree said.

"Okay fine!" I said as I took out my outfit from the luggage and walked into the washroom.

My Haldi outfit was a sunset yellow lehenga choli hand crafted with tulip mirrors cut in the shapes of flowers and leaves. Ornamented with zardosi, sequins, french knots and zari in floral pattern on the hemline and adorned with gold pleated organza under layer on the hemline. It was paired with a sleeveless choli in dupion with similar floral hand embroidery which was designed with a U-neck with V-cut and inverted V-cut hemline. The outfit was topped with a blush pink organza dupatta with a scallop cut border embellished with sequins and there was a cancan fitted in the lehenga skirt.

Stripping off my clothes, I put on the blouse first but left the dori open as it won't reach my hands. Then I slipped into the lehenga skirt and tied the drawstring. I threw the dupatta over my shoulder and came out of the washroom, closing the door behind me.

"So guys! How do I look?" I asked as I twirled around.

"Damn you look fine babe!" Sam gushed dramatically and then dragged me back to the ottoman.

"Sit down girl! We have your thick, long hair to work on!" Sam screeched with a horrified expression on her face making me roll my eyes.

My heart was thumping loudly in my chest because of the nervousness I was feeling right now. Mum, Subho maa and my besties were with me currently in my suite except Sam who has gone to her brother's side. Mum was wearing a silk yellow saree with white polka dots whilst Subho maa was wearing a banarasi yellow saree. And I must say they both looked so pretty.

Dad had paid a visit before sometime and kissed my forehead with tears glistening in his eyes and told me how beautiful I was looking and how proud he was for me! Mum and Subho maa barely controlled their tears and seeing all of them crying, almost brought tears to my eyes as well. Until Shree threatened me to beat me up with her high heels if I ruined my makeup with tears.

Shree was wearing a strapped yellow blouse with flowy yellow lehenga and a yellow netted dupatta whilst Shanaya was wearing a yellow anarkali with her curled hair which looked so cute on her. Sam was wearing a flashy yellow lehenga like mine but without a dupatta.

"Let's go beta! It's time!" Subho maa said. Shree and Shanaya held both of my hands as we walked out of the suite.

Getting inside the lift, we went to the ground floor to get to the pool area, where the function will be held. As the lift door opened, I was welcomed with rose petals falling over me. I gasped in shock and looked around to find Abhi dada, dad, Prem uncle, Armaan, Rajveer uncle, Twinkle aunty, Komal and Neha. They were grinning widely at me. Dad, Prem Uncle, Rajveer uncle were wearing white kurta with straight pants, Dada wore a simple yellow kurta with white white pants and Armaan wore a slight yellowish kurta which had it's too three buttons undone with white straight pants!

Typical Armaan!

Twinkle aunty was wearing a yellow jamdani saree whilst Komal and Neha twinned in two yellow anarkali.

I laughed seeing them as their grins widened more if possible and they continued throwing the petals at me as I walked down the decorated aisle which led me towards the pool area.

Before the entrance there was a huge white board which had a quote, 𝑌𝑢𝑣𝑟𝑎𝑗 & 𝑀𝑟𝑖𝑑𝑢𝑙𝑎'𝑠 𝐻𝐴𝐿𝐷𝐼 written on it in floral calligraphy. The board had a contrasting coloured border with floral garlands on the corners. There were rangoli of flower petals decorated with lanterns, brass diyas and earthenware just before the entrance. There were some more quotes and hashtags in neon lights like 𝑇𝒉𝑒 𝑚𝑜𝑠𝑡 𝑏𝑒𝑎𝑢𝑡𝑖𝑓𝑢𝑙 𝑑𝑎𝑦 𝑓𝑜𝑟 𝑡𝒉𝑒 𝑚𝑜𝑠𝑡 𝑏𝑒𝑎𝑢𝑡𝑖𝑓𝑢𝑙 𝑐𝑜𝑢𝑝𝑙𝑒, 𝑌𝑜𝑢 𝑤𝑖𝑙𝑙 𝑛𝑒𝑣𝑒𝑟 𝑓𝑜𝑟𝑔𝑒𝑡 𝑡𝒉𝑖𝑠 𝑑𝑎𝑦 𝑓𝑜𝑟 𝑖𝑡 𝑖𝑠 𝑡𝒉𝑒 𝑚𝑎𝑟𝑘 𝑜𝑓 𝑎 𝑛𝑒𝑤 𝑏𝑒𝑔𝑖𝑛𝑛𝑖𝑛𝑔, 𝑡𝒉𝑒 𝑠𝑡𝑎𝑟𝑡 𝑜𝑓 𝑦𝑜𝑢𝑟 𝑠𝑤𝑒𝑒𝑡 𝑓𝑜𝑟𝑒𝑣𝑒𝑟 &.#𝑦𝑢𝑣𝑖𝑚𝑖𝑎𝑘𝑖𝒉𝑎𝑙𝑑𝑖 #𝑙𝑒𝑡𝑠𝑝𝑎𝑖𝑛𝑡𝑡𝒉𝑒𝑠𝑘𝑦𝑦𝑒𝑙𝑙𝑜𝑤 #𝑝𝑎𝑖𝑛𝑡𝑒𝑑𝑦𝑒𝑙𝑙𝑜𝑤 #𝒉𝑎𝑙𝑑𝑖𝑚𝑢𝑐𝒉? and many more.

There was a temporary bridge over the pool which connected to the other side and it was my aisle. There were poles fixed along the bridge sides and a yellow coloured dome covering the whole aisle way. The dome had yellow and white dreamcatchers, hanging lanterns and parandis. The entrance door had white and yellow flowers hanging down from it. Giving it a subtle and bright look. From this side, I saw Varun bhaiya on the other side of the pool, doing his weird bhangra dance on....on Cheap thrills! And he was wearing something the same as Armaan with the top buttons of the kurta undone.

No shit Sherlock!

Shaking my head at his weird ways, I looked around to see the rest of the decorations as I walked towards the entrance. As I walked down the aisle, a song played in the background. Heer from Jab Tak Hai Jaan!

Ho ho o...
Heer Heer na akho adiyo
Main te Sahiban hoi
Ghodi leke aave le jaaye
Ghodi leke aave le jaaye

Ho mainu le jaaye Mirza koi
Le jaaye Mirza koi
Le jaaye Mirza koi...

I walked down the aisle hoping that I wouldn't trip over my lehenga skirt and fell straight into the water.

Ho.. Heer Heer na akho adiyo
Main te Sahiban hoi
Ghodi leke aave le jaaye
Ghodi leke aave le jaaye
Ho mainu le jaaye Mirza koi
Le jaaye Mirza koi
Le jaaye Mirza koi...

Naal naal tur na te vith rakhna
Hadh rakh lena vich dil rakhna
Chhanve chhanve paave, assi teri parchhave, tur naa

Oh ho...

I found the others like my in-laws and the Johnson's on the other side of the pool. Maa and papa were matching in yellow sherwani and bright yellow bandhani saree. Chachu and Chachi wore a simple yellow kurta and georgette fabric saree respectively. Sid jiju was wearing a white shirt underneath a yellow waistcoat and white pants. Hina wore a white and yellow lehenga whilst Alia wore a cute yellow gown with her hair down. Sri Devi ma'am was wearing a yellow bomkai saree with her hair tied into a bun which made her look more beautiful. Duggu bhaiya was wearing a yellow kurta with white pants whilst Bhabhi wore a chikankari saree that barely showed her baby bump. Sahil Bhaiya was wearing a white kurta and white pants whilst Nicole wore a yellow tussar silk saree, Rose wore a yellow crop top and yellow skirt. Robert and Trevor wore a simple yellow kurta and white pants.

The Aussies looked cute in yellow!

But I didn't find Raghvir anywhere there. I shrugged it off thinking he must be busy and I will talk to him later.

There was a large swing enough for five people at the centre piece and it had two boards saying #𝑔𝑟𝑜𝑜𝑚 & #𝑏𝑟𝑖𝑑𝑒 respectively. The swing had two stands by the sides which were draped with yellow and white drapes and flowers which made it striking and showy. There were yellow and white flowers, flowery balls hanging from the swing which had an astonishing look with their own natural beauty. The drapes on the swing had fairy lights along with them as well which gave a breathtaking Sufi theme to the background. Sheer drapes with fairy lights between them also made a nice backdrop. There were two golden stools just under the swing for our feet to keep on. There is a large inverted dome on a stand in the middle and in front of the swing, which had floral petals and candles floating on the water giving the surrounding a serene look.

𝚅𝚎𝚗𝚞𝚎

There was a photo booth to a side as well which was made of yellow and white floral backdrop and a wooden frame having a board quoting 𝑌𝑢𝑣𝑟𝑎𝑗 & 𝑀𝑖𝑎 𝑘𝑖 𝐻𝑎𝑙𝑑𝑖 on it with some flowers at the corners. There was a huge tent over the sitting area which had tiny, cute chandeliers hanging down from the ceiling with tassels falling. There were white and yellow stars and half moons at some corners as well which gave the surrounding a dreamy yet enchanting look. Floral umbrellas were lying here and there on the ground.

Maa came forward and kissed my forehead.

"Nazar na lag jaye kisiki Meri bachchi ko! Bohot pyaari lag rahi ho beta! Aao!" She said as mum and maa both led me towards the swing. They made me sit on a side whilst Shree and Sam straightened and smoothened my lehenga.

My eyes wandered over the place but I didn't find Yuvraj just like he disappeared on the engagement day.

Or is he planning for another surprise entry?! Jo bhi ho, I am so excited for it!

Kyaa baat ay!

Out of nowhere I heard Yuvraj's voice coming from the speakers which were fitted in the corners of the place. I looked at my besties and Yuvraj's friends to find them grinning at me which made me frown but soon a smile appeared on my face as I got what was about to happen right now.

Suddenly music blared from the speakers as I saw some blurry figures coming from far away and Sahil bhaiya, Varun bhaiya rushing towards them. The blurry figures soon cleared as they were near and I saw Yuvraj in the middle. He was wearing a self embroidered waistcoat and kurta in monochrome yellow, paired with crisp white straight pants and a pair of yellow jutti. He had his shades on and his dark hair was gelled back.

Tera mukhda chand da tukda
Ni tere ainak, tere shoe
Kya baat ay!
Kya baat ay!

He danced on the music whilst looking at me like he was lip-synching the lyrics for me.

Ni tera kajal
Karda ae pagal
Hypnotize kare jatt nu
Kya baat hai!
Kya baat hai!

Tere lakk ton lagda Karachi di
Fan marjaniye Bugati di
Dil kare tere naal bhanneya ravaan
Tere jism 'ch khushboo i'lachi di
Teri akh, te tikha nakk
Te utton masha'allah munh
Kya baat ay!
Kya baat ay!

Ni tera kajal
Karda ae pagal
Hypnotize kare jatt nu
Kya baat hai?
Kya baat hai?

Tera kangna kangna kangna
Kya baat ae?

Lakk nu paaiyaan paaiyaan badi marjaniye

Jehda tennu takk leve ikk vaar ni

Teri chaal te gallan laal

Kya baat ay?

Janni.. jaani.. jaani jaani jaani

Naa keh no! no! no!
Tere bina menu maar du ae thand balliye

Tuhada kangna kangna kangna!

As the song ended, Sahil bhaiya threw a guitar at Yuvraj, who caught it effortlessly and grabbed a microphone from the DJ booth.

"This is for you Mia!" Yuvraj said in the mic as he looked straight into my eyes making me blush and anticipated.

Yuvraj held the guitar properly and started to play a tune.

I wanna follow where she goes
I think about her and she knows it
I wanna let her take control
'Cause everytime that she gets close, yeah

She pulls me in enough to keep me guessing (mmm)
And maybe I should stop and start confessing
Confessing, yeah
Oh, I've been shaking
I love it when you go crazy
You take all my inhibitions
Baby, there's nothing holdin' me back
You take me places that tear up my reputation
Manipulate my decisions
Baby, there's nothing holdin' me back
There's nothing holdin' me back
There's nothing holdin' me back
She says that she's never afraid
Just picture everybody naked
She really doesn't like to wait
Not really into hesitation
Pulls me in enough to keep me guessing, whoa
And maybe I should stop and start confessing
Confessing, yeah
Oh, I've been shaking
I love it when you go crazy
You take all my inhibitions
Baby, there's nothing holdin' me back
You take me places that tear up my reputation
Manipulate my decisions
Baby, there's nothing holdin' me back
There's nothing holdin' me back
'Cause if we lost our minds and we took it way too far
I know we'd be alright, I know we would be alright
If you were by my side and we stumbled in the dark
I know we'd be alright, I know we would be alright
'Cause if we lost our minds and we took it way too far
I know we'd be alright, I know we would be alright
If you were by my side and we stumbled in the dark
I know we'd be alright, we would be alright
Oh, I've been shaking
I love it when you go crazy
You take all my inhibitions
Baby, there's nothing holdin' me back
You take me places that tear up my reputation
Manipulate my decisions
Baby, there's nothing holdin' me back (oh whoa)
There's nothing holdin' me back
I feel so free when you're with me, baby
Baby, there's nothing holdin' me back

I clapped along with the others and wiped my tears away with a tissue that Sam handed me. The song is beautiful and with him singing it for me is just too perfect to even imagine.

Yuvraj gave the guitar away as he walked towards me. I got up and he hugged me, making the guests cheer in appreciation.

"It was so beautiful Yuvi!" I whispered.

"I am glad you liked it baby!" He said and pecked my forehead before pulling back.

"Liked it? I loved it!" I said with a grin making him chuckle. After that we took some photos together which were so cute and romantic.

"Okay okay guys! Now please take your seats because pandit ji is getting restless to get done with this ritual and lovey dovey of yours!" Sam said as everyone chuckled.

"Come!" Yuvraj said as he held my hand and helped me to sit back on the swing and then he sat beside me with his hand interlaced with mine.

"Awh they look so cute together! Just like Radha-Krishn! Kisi ki najar na lag jaye mere bachcho ko!" Maa said as she put some kohl on the back of our necks tenderly.

As maa walked away to stand beside papa, Yuvraj leaned in and whispered in my ear.

"Do you have any idea how fucking beautiful you're looking right now? I thought you looked gorgeous in white, but you've changed my mind today! You look ravishing in yellow! And I can't take my eyes off you! I must say I am one lucky bastard!"

My cheeks flamed up hearing him. Leaning away I gave him a nasty glare making him smirk. I smirked back evilly.

"You look quite good as well!" I shrugged.

"What? Only good? Woman! I am looking handsome and hot! If you don't believe me, ask your cousins who are drooling at me right now!" He said smirking as he pointed towards my left.

I turned sideways to find my cousins really drooling at him. My blood boiled and I fisted my hands.

"Ow ow ow! Woman! You have my hand in yours if you're forgetting! Damn! You almost squeezed the life out of me!" Yuvraj said as he pulled his hand back and blew air on it making me scowl.

"I will kill you if you look at someone else other than me!" I said sternly, making him raise an eyebrow at me.

"Calm down love! You know I only have eyes for you!" He said as he kissed my palm.

"You better!" I said in a sour tone making him chuckle.

"Damn! You look hot when you are jealous, baby!" He said which made me roll my eyes.

"Lovebirds! If you're done with your cute little fight, shall we proceed?" Bhabhi asked, wiggling her eyebrows, which made me realise that we were sitting in front of everyone and their eyes were on us all the time. Heat crept up to my nose, ears and cheeks as I mentally groaned in embarrassment.

"Pandit ji! Let's start then?" Papa asked the priest.

"Ji Jaroor!" Priest said.

No proper Hindu wedding will take place without provoking the blessings of the Elephant god, Ganesh, the remover of all obstacles. Despite the fact that every ceremony included in a Hindu wedding is important, the Ganesha Puja is extremely vital to the progress of the wedding as it is intended to bestow good luck onto the new couple as well as destroy any possible obstacles that may come across their path.

The priest worshipped Lord Ganesha's gold idol with red flowers, coconut, modak, durva grass, betel nut, red thread, incense, sindoor and chandan. It is easy to see just how much time, effort, and care goes into planning the Ganesh Puja. This ceremony is so important to a Hindu wedding as it is designed to protect the young couple and set them off on the right foot as they start a new journey together. Full of color and sweet treats, Ganesh Puja is a ritual that is not easily forgotten by those that take part in it. The priest even put some holy Ganga jal in the Haldi paste as God's blessing.

After the Ganesh puja, it was maa and papa who came first to apply the Haldi on our bodies. Maa took two mango leaves in her hands and dipped it in the Haldi paste and applied it first on Yuvraj's feet chanting some mantra. Followed by his feet, maa applied the paste on his hands, arms, cheeks and forehead. After him, she did the same with me as she applied the paste from my feet, hands, arms and then on my face.

"God bless you both!" Maa said and kissed our forehead before handing the leaves to papa.

Papa did the same as mum and caressed our heads before leaving with mum. Next were my parents. Mum lovingly kissed our foreheads and dad caressed our heads as they were done before leaving and giving chance to the others. Next was Subho maa and then chachu and chachi. Chachi to tease us, applied some paste on our noses as well making us squeal as the cold thick paste touched our nose. She laughed as she handed the leaves to the next couple. Rajveer uncle and Twinkle aunty lovingly put the paste on us and blessed us for our future. Next came Prem uncle. He applied the paste on us and kissed my forehead and patted Yuvraj's back before walking away. Then Nicole and Robert came and applied the paste on us and complimented us about how beautiful we were looking together. Yuvraj and I thanked them.

Now the last couple, Sid and Shree made their way to us whilst smiling mischievously.

"Danger alert!" I whisper-yelled to Yuvi who nodded his head in understanding.

And the next moment, our faces were smeared in the Haldi paste which dropped down to our clothes. They, without taking the mango leaves, used their hands instead and covered our faces with the paste.

"Oh good lord!" I groaned.

"Payback is a bitch sweetheart!" Shree said, making everyone laugh.

"Ab samajh aaya, Bali ka bakra kise kehte hain?" Sid jiju asked Yuvraj who scowled at him.

Abhi Dada came and applied some of the paste on us and kissed my forehead. Then Sri Devi ma'am came and applied a little paste on us and blessed us for our happy married life together. After her, Komal and Neha came, who did the same. Then to my utter horror, Sam, Shanaya, Armaan, Varun bhiaya and Sahil Bhaiya came together. But it wasn't them which terrified us, it was the bowls of haldi paste in their hands and them all together which frightened us to death.

Without saying something, Yuvraj grabbed my hand and dragged me away with him as the devil group of our best friends let out a war cry. We ran and ran whilst they were behind us and the others were laughing and enjoying the Tom and Jerry show that was programming live in front of their eyes.

At last, Yuvraj and I were dripping in the yellowish paste with scowls on our faces as we glared at our best friends. I smirked as a revenge idea came into my mind. Tugging on Yuvi's sleeve, I asked him to lean closer. And he complied.

"Don't you think they need a hug from us?" I asked, wiggling my eyebrows at him. He smirked and nodded. And then we both turned to our best friends.

"Guys! You know we both are grateful for you all for being with us in every step of our lives and we want to thank you by giving each of you a hug! So who comes first?" Yuvraj asked as he opened his arms wide.

Their eyes widened and the bowls fell from their hands as they ran away squealing with us hot on their heels. After some time of playing, we came back to our suites as the ceremony ended and we needed to take a bath. Getting into the washroom, I washed my face and hands first which were dripping with haldi paste. Then I wiped my face with a towel when the bathroom door burst open making me scream in shock and the towel from my hand fell down on the marble floor.

I turned around to find Yuvraj. I sighed in relief and put a hand on my now beating crazily heart.

"Yuvraj! What the hell! You almost gave me a heart attack! What were you thinking?" I screeched.

But this gorilla just smirked at me.

Smirking, he closed the bathroom door behind him as he took threatening steps towards me. That's when I noticed that he also had washed the haldi off his face and his hands...well I couldn't see them as they were behind him.

"W-what are you doing Yuvi?" I asked as I took steps back towards the wall.

Soon I was caged between him and the wall. His one arm snaked around my waist as he pulled me closer and he brought his other hand in front of me and I was surprised to see haldi paste on his fingers.

"What are you doing Yuvi?" I whispered.

"Everyone painted you and I didn't, now this is not fair. Is it mi amor?" He whispered, making me squirm as his hot breath fell on my lips.

Gliding his fingers through my cheek, I shivered as the cold paste came in contact with my warm cheeks. And soon he coloured both of my cheeks.

"Now I am done! Shouldn't you also apply the haldi paste on me?" He whispered.

"But I don't have any with me!" I whispered back.

"Well I have a perfect solution for that!" He said huskily as he leaned more towards me and rubbed his cheek on mine making me shudder and grip his shoulders tighter. He did the same with my other cheek and then pulled his head back.

He brushed his thumb against my lips, dragging my lower lip downwards.

"God! I am not sorry for what I am going to do now!" He whispered looking at my lips.

He travelled his hand along my jaw, placing my ear in between his fingers and thumb.

"Wha-!" Yuvraj slammed his lips on mine. I was dumbfounded and didn't kiss him back as I was in a daze. But as his lips moved against mine, I closed my eyes as an abnormal urge burst inside me and I kissed him back. His soft and plump lips against mine felt like fire and burned me but yet I wanted more.

He swiped his tongue across my lower lip, asking permission for entrance but I didn't allow him to tease him a little. One of his hands held me on my back whilst the other held my jaw. His hand on my back travelled to my hip, where he squeezed it hard. I gasped, making him force his tongue inside my mouth with a single thrust. My hand travelled to his hair, tugging it gently whilst the other remained still on his chiseled chest.

Our tongues danced together like the ocean breeze. Grabbing me up by my thighs, he lifted me off the ground and made me sit on the cabinet behind me whilst his mouth was still on mine. His taste was addicting that my lips wanted to be super glued to them.

I moaned into his mouth and he groaned pulling me closer. The kiss felt like a passionate dance for dominance. I moaned again making him groan as he kissed me harder. Before things got heated, the kiss slowed down. He pulled back and pecked my lips once, twice and thrice. I pulled his lower lip in between my teeth and let go. Looking at his lustful eyes, I blushed. Yuvraj began leaving kisses down on my neck and sucking on my skin. The feeling left my lower regions tingling.

A kiss like this was a beginning and a promise of much more to come in the future.

I came out of the shower after a long shower. Wiping every bit of turmeric from the body was a really tough work, especially when it is all dried up. And Yuvraj's heated make out also made me a little late in taking a shower.

I wore the bathrobe and wrapped a towel around my hair before walking out of the ensuite bathroom. Then I zipped down my luggage and took out an outfit to get ready for lunch. The outfit was a cold shoulder black ruffle crop top and high waisted skinny jeans. Then I dried my hair and let them down and wore my black leather ankle boots. I grabbed my black sling and put my phone inside as I made my way outside of the suite.

As I stepped outside, I saw Yuvraj coming outside of his suite.

"There you are! I was just about to call you out for lunch!" He said as he wrapped his arms around my waist.

"Well I am here!" I said cheekily.

"Let's go!" He said shaking his head as a smile spread on his lips.

I nodded and we made our way towards the lift. We got in and head to the ocean- private dining room.

As we reached the floor, we came out of the lift and walked towards the PDR. There we met with our family and friends who were already waiting for us at a table. Yuvraj and I took our seats and looked at our mothers as they served us food in our plates whilst the other members at the table smirked at us and gave us teasing looks. Shrugging their teasing looks off we enjoyed the meal as our mothers pampered us with their love.

"Oh my God! Oh my God! Oh my God!" Varun bhaiya's sudden squeal made me choke on my lamb dum biryani and I coughed vigorously.

From the corner of my eyes, I saw some customers looking at Varun bhaiya weirdly and giving him disapproving looks. Whilst the waiters and staff maintained a safe distance from Varun Bhaiya.

"Oh no Mia!" Sam exclaimed.

"Shit! Mia!" Yuvraj cursed before patting and rubbing my back.

"Oh God! V what the hell man?" Sid jiju yelled as he smacked Varun bhaiya's head.

As my coughs slowed down, Yuvraj handed me a glass of water and helped me to sip from it. I gulped down some water and took deep breaths.

"You okay baby?" He asked rubbing my back and I nodded. Then Yuvraj's eyes went to Varun bhiaya who looked concerned whilst he glanced at me and excited as he glanced at his phone occasionally.

"Dude! What the f-heck is wrong with you?" Yuvraj yelled.

"I am sorry man! I just got carried away! I am so sorry Mia!" Varun bhaiya apologised.

"It's okay bhaiya but hua kya? Aap aise suddenly kyu chikhe?" I asked wiping my lips with a tissue.

"Woh! Hello magazine has published some pictures of Chris Hemsworth and Elsa Pataky kissing!" Varun bhaiya said, squealing inhumanly like a teenage girl who just talked to her crush and with a huge, creepy smile on his face.

We all glanced at each other and then back at Varun bhaiya who was still grinning and was looking like he was waiting for us to squeal so he could join us.

"And?" Yuvraj asked nonchalantly which wiped the grin off Varun bhaiya's face.

"Come on guys! Show some excitement! They are the most cute couple!" Varun bhaiya exclaimed bouncing at his place as he threw his hands up in the air.

"That's nothing new dude! Stop acting like a teenager!" Yuvraj said as he ate his lobster.

Varun bhaiya waved his hands as he got up from his chair, "Chris Hemsworth!" He exclaimed dreamily and further said, "His sexy wife, Elsa Pataky!" He rotated his hands in circular motion with an eager expression.

As he saw, we didn't give any reaction, Varun bhaiya dropped himself back at his chair grumbling incoherent words.

"You guys no nothing!" He whined.

"Well we are not some teenage girl to get excited over such things! Nor you are!" Sid jiju said pointing his fork threateningly at Varun bhaiya who leaned back to dodge it.

"Hey I know that!" Varun bhaiya said as his face turned into a scowl.

"You act like one though!" Yuvraj mumbled under his breath whilst eating his food making Sam and Shanaya snicker.

Varun bhaiya stuck his tongue out at Yuvraj when he wasn't looking. And with that we went back to eating as we ignored the occasional squeals and screeches from Varun bhaiya.

Well the day went well!
