How to avoid Acne?

1. Do not wash affected areas of skin more than twice a day. Frequent washing can irritate the skin and make symptoms worse.

2. Wash the affected area with a mild soap or cleanser and lukewarm water. Very hot or cold water can make acne worse.

3. Do not try to "clean out" blackheads or squeeze spots. This can make them worse and cause permanent scarring.

4. Avoid using too much make-up and cosmetics. Use water-based products that are described as non-comedogenic. This means the product is less likely to block the pores in your skin.

5. Completely remove make-up before going to bed.

6. If dry skin is a problem, use a fragrance-free water-based emollient.

7. Regular exercise cannot improve your acne, but it can boost your mood and improve your self-esteem. Shower as soon as possible once you finish exercising as sweat can irritate your acne.

8. Wash your hair regularly and try to avoid letting your hair fall across your face.

Treatment - Benzoyl peroxide works as an antiseptic to reduce the number of bacteria on the surface of the skin.

It also helps to reduce the number of whiteheads and blackheads, and has an anti-inflammatory effect.

Benzoyl peroxide is usually available as a cream or gel. It's used either once or twice a day. It should be applied 20 minutes after washing to all of the parts of your face affected by acne.

A claim found on many websites is that toothpaste can dry up individual spots.
While toothpaste does contain antibacterial substances, it also contains substances that can irritate and damage your skin.
Using toothpaste in this way is not recommended. There are far more effective and safer treatments available from pharmacists or GPs.

My eyes opened to see the most beautiful view in front of me. Mia was snuggling on my chest with her head on my shoulder and arm wrapped around my torso. Smiling I pecked her forehead and grabbed my phone from the bedside table slowly not waking her up. I saw the time and got up removing her hand.

I walked inside the washroom and washed my face. The house was beautiful.

I came out of the washroom after I was done with my business and saw Mia still sleeping. Glancing at her at last I made my way downstairs to the living room with my laptop. I checked my mails and when I saw there wasn't much work left I closed my laptop and got up making my way towards the kitchen.

I checked the refrigerator which didn't have much vegetables so I dropped the idea of making something. I reserved a table for Mia and me in a restaurant and booked a cab and walked upstairs to wake Mia up. Opening the door to bedroom I went inside.

"Mia!" I called as I sat down beside Mia's sleeping figure.

Removing the hairs from her face, I pecked her forehead. She looked so cute even in her sleep. Her rose petal like eyes stayed still whilst her pink baby lips were formed into a pout.

"Get up sweetheart!" I called making her stir and groan.

I chuckled as she hugged my torso and slept again. I too wrapped my arms around her and pulled her on my chest. She adjusted her head under my chin and snuggled more into me.

"Get up Mia!" I called.

Scrunching her nose finally she opened her eyes and left her head to look at me and finally let me see her beautiful eyes.

"What? I aamm sweeppy!" She said in a sleepy tone.

"But you have to wake up baby! I am taking you out somewhere! Aren't you going to get ready?" I asked.

Her eyes snapped open as she looked at me in excitement.

"Really!" She asked now fully awake.

"Yes baby! Now come on! Get up and get ready! We'll be late!" I said.

"Okay! I am goingg!" She said and dashed into the washroom making me chuckle at her eagerness.

I too got up and took out my outfit from my bag. I got ready in my brown plaid long sleeve shirt, brown chinos, grey tie and a navy pea coat. I wore my highline Chelsea boot. Then I put on some cologne and my Michael Kors wrist watch. The restroom door opened making my eyes snap towards it and my breath hitched when I took in a proper look of the sight infront of me. Mia was standing there with a red knee length dress on.

Unconsciously I took steps towards her as she stood there tucking her open hair behind her ear. I finally reached upto her and hovered over her tiny frame. She reached up to my chest but with her heels on she was upto my chin. I made her look up at me by putting my finger under her chin.

"You look beautiful!" I whispered out making her cheeks more red than it was before.

"T-thank you!" She said timidly.

I snaked my one arm around her waist and pulled her to me whilst caressing her now crimson red cheeks. Leaning down I traced kisses on her jawline. Fuck she smelled so amazing and it's making me crazy.

"Y-yuvi! Aren't we getting late?" She asked.

"Dinner can wait!" I breathed out still kissing her neck.

"But I am hungry!" She whined.

I pulled back from her neck and sighed seeing her pout.

"Way to ruin my romantic mood!" I muttered under my breath.

"Huh?" She asked in confusion.

"Nothing! Come on let's go! The cab must be here!" I said and dragged her outside the room and took her downstairs.

We came out to see the cab pulling outside the house and we settled inside. I gave the address and we drove off.

I got out of the car and opened the door for Mia. She came out and I placed my hand on the back of her waist as we made our way inside. A waiter showed us our table. I pulled the chair for Mia as she sat down and then I sat on mine. The waiter gave us the menu and we ordered our food.

Picking up my fork I cut a piece of my lobster and put it in my mouth.

"It's amazing!" I said gulping down the food.

"I know right! I've always loved the lobster of here!" She said eating her food.

"Mhm! So I've something to tell you!" I said.

"Yes?" She said.

"Next week Mum & dad are visiting Mumbai to your home! To talk about our marriage! But I wanted to know if you're okay with the marriage now! I mean it's okay!" I said nervously.

"I'm okay with it!" She said shyly making me grin.

So the wedding is decided to be on June 17th which is a very good day for the auspicious occasion and it's Mia's birthday too. Mum and dad with Devi uncle and Avinash uncle has visited some pandit ji and have decided the date. And now for this month and the valentine week I've planned a road trip to Kashmir with Mia, Varun, Sam, Armaan and Shanaya.

And today Mia, Sam and Shanaya are coming to Delhi and their flight will be landing in thirty minutes and I am driving to the airport. I am wearing my business suit as I am going to the airport straight from my office.

Parking my car outside the airport, I buttoned my suit and walked inside the airport with my bodyguards following me. I straight walked to the Terminal 2 and checked my wrist watch there is still 5 minutes left and I checked the flight status. The flight was on time. I took off my coat and handed it to one of my bodyguard.

After sometime I heard the announcement of the flight arriving. After some time of the announcement I saw them walking out of the terminal. A smile spread on my lips seeing the love of my life and my little sister.

Mia's look

She was looking beautiful in her black lace top and skirt.

"Hey Bhaiya!" Sam said and hugged me. I hugged her back and patted her head.

"How are you?" I asked pulling back.

"I am good! How are you and what about everyone in home!" She asked.

"Everyone's good and waiting for you eagerly in home!" I said.

"Eaak awesome! I am going to sit in the car! Maan come with me!" Sam said and held Armaan's hand and dragged him out.

Armaan nodded at me making me nod in return when Sam was dragging him out. My eyes went back to Mia who was standing in front of me with a smile adorning her face.

"Come here!" I said.

Smiling widely she walked straight to my chest and hugged my torso. I hugged her back tightly snuggling my nose in her open hairs which smelt so amazing.

"I've missed you so much baby!" I breathed out making her shiver.

"I missed you too!" She whispered.

Pulling back I pecked on her lips and ushered her out of the airport towards my car. Opening the passenger seat's door for her I closed it as she sat inside. Walking around I settled in and buckled up. I saw Sam was already sleeping in the back and Armaan was on his phone. Then I drove off to the mansion.

Parking my car I undid my seatbelt and got out from the car whilst the guards opened the car doors for Sam and Mia.

"Come on guys!" I said placing my hand on the lower back of Mia ushering her inside. I rang the doorbell and it opened to an over excited Mum.

"Finally!" She breathed out and hugged Mia.

"How are you beta?" Mum asked after pulling back.

"I am fine aunty! How are you?" Mia asked touching her feet as mum didn't let her do that before.

"May god bless you! I am also good and now I'll be more good as you finally came!" Mum said with a smile.

"Wow! I am feeling so loved here!" I heard Sam saying.

I looked aside to see her standing just behind Mia as she pouted with her arms crossed in front of her. I chuckled at her childish behaviours.
Mia too chuckled and scurried aside for mum to welcome Sam.

"Awh I am sorry my baby! Come here!" Mum said opening her arms.

Sam grinned and hugged mum.

"I've missed you badi ma!" Sam said.

"Missed you too beta!" Mum said.

Armaan came and touched mum's feet.

"Khush raho beta! How are you and how are your mum, dad?" Mum asked.

"We all are fine aunty, thank you!" Armaan said.

"Very good! Come on bachho come inside!" Mum said and we went inside with her.

We all sat in the living room's couch as the servers served Mia, Sam and Armaan juices. They even offered me but I denied. Mia was sitting beside me, Sam to her left and Armaan to Sam's left.

"Badi ma! Where is Duggu bhaiya and Bade papa!" Sam asked.

"Oh they are not in home! Duggu went to party office for some work and Your bade papa went to the Prime minister's office for some meeting! Priyanka is home and resting in her room. She had morning sickness today and it really worn out that poor girl! And Alia went to school." Mum said.

Oh yeah I know about bhabhi's morning sickness. She will wake up with bile forming in her stomach and then threw her guts out in the toilet. She won't even properly eat breakfast. And the crave for this week is chocolates which is the only thing she eats, to say frankly. I haven't seen her like this during Alia.

"Oh! We will meet her later than!" Sam said to Mia who nodded in agreement.

"Yeah! Now go and freshen up! I will call you downstairs when the lunch will be prepared!" Mum said.

"I can help you with that aunty!" Mia said.

"No beta! You must be tired and I am not doing it all alone so don't you worry and stop calling me aunty! Now you're going to be my daughter in law in four months so start calling me mum like Yuvi! Okay?" Mum said.

"Okay au-! Mum!" Mia said.

Mum nodded with a smile.

"Go and freshen up! I am going to check on the preparations! Armaan I am sending someone to show you your room okay!" Mum said and left.

"Let's go Mia!" Sam said and literally dragged Mia all the way upstairs to their room.

A server came and guides Armaan with him upstairs. Sighing I got up and went to the kitchen.

"Hey mum! Do you need any help?" I asked seeing her frying something.

"No beta! You just go and wait in the living room! I will call you if I will need something! I am almost done though." Mum said.

"Okay! As you say!" I said and came back to the living room.

Plopping down on the couch, I rested my head on the back and closed my eyes.

"Bhaiya wake up!" Someone shook me and my eyes opened. Sam was the one waking me up with Mia behind her.

"What?" I groaned rubbing my eyes.

These days has been so hectic for me. Being the member of parliament and CEO as well of your own company can worn you out completely. From attending the meetings in parliament to stay aside dad and bhaiya in every party related meets can be so tiring. And after that go to your office and do the paperwork and correct your employees is making me feel like I should just give up on everything and run to the Himalayas. But when Mia's face appears in front of my eyes it makes me realise for what I am doing all this hardwork. She is the one who motivates me every time. But still this past week has made me feel hell on earth. Let's just say I barely got to sleep this week.

"Bhai get up! Badi ma is calling us for lunch and I am famished. So you better get up!" Sam said shaking me profusely.

I groaned and got up throwing my hairs in the air.

"Fine fine! I am up!" I said.

Sam grinned.

"Okay come soon! I am hungry!" Sam said and left towards the dining hall.

I massaged my temple in frustration.

"You aren't sleeping properly again right?" Mia asked crossing her hands looking damn cute with the scowl on her face.

I smiled sheepishly as I moved towards her.

"Sorry baby! It's just I was busy!" I said and wrapped my arms around her making her gasp.

She placed her hands on my chest and tried to push me making me smirk as I didn't even budge in my place.

"Yuvi! Let go! Someone will see!" She hissed making me chuckle internally.

Her face was red in embarrassment and anger as she pushed me. The tip of her nose which has now turn red looks so cute. Those rosy cheeks are now crimson red making them look more tempting.

"I don't care! You're my soon to be wife and I don't think I will be needing someone's permission to touch my would be wife!" I said huskily leaning my forehead on hers.

A throat clearing voice made Mia startle. We both looked towards the direction to see Priyanka bhabhi grinning at us.

"Bhabhi!" Mia exclaimed before removing herself from me and rushing towards Priyanka bhabhi taking her in a hug.

I sighed and shook my head.

"Hey Mia!" Bhabhi hugged her back.

"How are you Bhabhi and how is the little one?" Mia asked pulling back from the hug.

"The baby and baby momma both are fine now! Tell me how are you?" Priyanka bhabhi asked.

"I am good Bha-!" Mia was cut off by Sam's yelling.

"UGH! ARE YOU GUYS COMING OR NOT! DO YOUR ROMANCE LETTER! FOR GOD SAKE I AM HUNGRY! AND NOW I AM TURNING HANGRY! COME RIGHT NOW IF YOU DON'T WANT MY HUNGER WRATH ON YOU!"

Wow!

Mia looked wide eyed towards the dining hall as Priyanka bhabhi chuckled.

"This girl can never change! Come on Mia, Yuvraj! Let's go!" Priyanka bhabhi said.

I nodded and followed them behind to the dining hall where I saw Sam's sulking face as her head rested on the top of her hand and her hand was on the dining table. When she saw us coming her eyes lit up in pure joy.

"Finally! Hey bhabhi! How is my niece!" Sam asked getting up and embracing bhabhi whilst smirking at me.

Niece! Ah again she is at it again!

So basically the thing happened between us is a fight over if the baby will be boy or a girl! I said it will be a boy whilst she said it will be a girl. And this conversation strated when she called Priyanka bhabhi to congratulate her on her pregnancy. Basically I wanted a boy. No offense but the girl's population in our home is raising day by day so ofcourse we need more members in our boys gang. That's all I wanted. But Sam wants another girl so that she and Alia can play dress up with her. And I seriously hate that game.

I groaned and sat on my seat pulling Mia to sit beside my seat. Mia plopped down with a frown settled on her pretty face.

"What's going on and why are you groaning again and again?" Mia asked.

"Yeah bhaiya answer her! And stop with that groaning like a cow, it makes me feel like I am in some cattle yard for god sake!" Sam said making me glare at her.

"Hey guys!" Armaan said coming inside the dining hall.

"Hey Bhabhi! How are you and how's the champ doing?" Armaan asked making my eyes shot up to him.

I got up from my seat and embraced him making him freeze for a second.

"Whoa! What's happening guys?" Duggu bhaiya said coming inside and pecked bhabhi's forehead.

I pulled back from the hug and turned to bhaiya.

"Bhai! Armaan is with us!" I said wiping my fake tears making bhaiya frown.

"Armaan is with us? Kis baat mein?" He asked.

"Usse bhi yahi lagta hai k bhabhi iss baar ek bete ko is duniya mein lagengi!" I said.

Bhaiya strolled towards us copying my actions and hugged Armaan. I saw as Sam scoffed and scowled at Armaan.

"What makes you think that it will be a boy?" Sam asked glaring at Armaan who gulped in confusion and fear.

Duggu bhaiya pulled back from the hug and patted Armaan's shoulder.

"Bless you man! Bless you!" Duggu bhaiya said making Priyanka bhabhi roll her eyes.

Then Duggu bhaiya hugged Mia and Sam before settling himself and bhabhi down on their seats. I tugged on Armaan's hand and pulled him towards the dining table. Pulling out a chair for him beside Sam I pushed him to sit down. There were some Gulab jamun in a dish placed on the table. I grabbed a small bowl and served two gulab jamuns for him. I took one in my hand and brought it in front of Armaan's mouth.

"This is for you! For supporting us! For understanding our feelings! Open your mouth!" I said.

Still in confusion he opened his mouth as I put the sweet inside his mouth. Wiping my fingers with a tissue paper I made my way towards my seat and say beside Mia. All the whilst Mia was looking at us in confusion.

Mum came from the kitchen with the servers behind her having dishes on their hands.

"Priyanka! You're here? How are you feeling now? And why did you come downstairs! I could've send something to your room!" Mum said caressing bhabhi's head.

"I am fine mum! Don't worry! I am feeling much better now! And I knew Sam, Mia and Armaan were coming so I couldn't stop myself! And also me and the baby is hungry! That's why!" Bhabhi said the last sentence pouting making us smile.

Mum nodded and signalled the servers to serve us whilst she served for bhabhi.

"Mum come sit with us!" Duggu bhaiya said.

"Yeah! Let my babies eat first!" Mum said.

"Mum! We are not babies anymore! So you can chill! Please come and eat with us!" I said.

She nodded sighing and sat in her seat. Mum has made Indian and Chinese cuisines which is Priyanka bhabhi's favourite. And I too don't mind eating Chinese. The dishes were jeera rice, Irish bombay potatoes, dal tadka, mushroom bhaji, roasted cauliflower, veg manchurian, Eggplant with Hot Garlic sauce,

"So everything ready for tomorrow!" Mum asked.

"Yeah! I've taken care of everything!" I said.

Mum nodded.

"How about Sid and Shraddha? Have any of you talked to them lately?" Mum asked again.

"Yes! I've talked with Shree! They are doing fine and enjoying their stay! And she also told me that they will be coming earlier than expected as there is some important work Shree has to complete!" Mia said.

"You children and work! I can never understand your logics! This is the time you guys should be enjoying your lives rather than busying yourselves in the files and folders!" Mum said shaking her head.

"That's why we are going on a road trip tomorrow for a week, right?" Sam asked innocently making mum chuckle.

"Yeah Mum! Don't worry we are definitely enjoying our lives! And you are here to show us the right thing if we are wrong so don't worry!" Priyanka bhabhi said.

Mum nodded smiling. After we were done with our lunch we all went back to the living room and settled ourselves on the couch whilst the maids brought us the dessert which was vanilla pudding made by mum.

"Mm mum! This is so yummy!" Priyanka bhabhi said.

We nodded our heads in agreement. My phone rang making everyone's eyes snapped to me. I muttered an excuse and put the cup aside wiping my mouth. Taking out my phone from my trouser pocket, I saw it was Karan. Picking up the call I placed it over my ear.

"Yes?" I asked.

"Sir! There are some files you need to sign and your meeting is fixed with Mr. Smith at 5PM! Is that okay with you?" Karan asked.

"Hm okay! I will be there soon!" I said and hung up before putting the phone back in my trouser.

"Sorry guys! Work calling! So I need to leave! See y'all tonight then!" I said and got up from my seat.

Pecking Mia's cheek I made my way out of the mansion listening to the whistles and hoots by Samaira, bhabhi and Armaan. I smirked knowing what must be going on with Mia now! Her face must be red till now.

Oh how much I want to go back and see that beautiful red face, but I know, the place is not less than a kargil war zone where the enemy group is ready to kill you with their teasing thing. So it's better for me to leave this area right now. I will tolerate the wrath of my girl later for leaving her all embarassed there!

Making my way towards my car, I opened the door and buckled in. Then I drove off to my office.

It's going to be a long day!

Parking my car I walked inside my house to see dad in the living room couch.

"Hey Dad!" I exclaimed giving him a hug.

Taking off my coat I plopped down beside him.

"So how was the meeting today with The Prime minister!" I asked.

"It was good! The project we are planning will be successful that I can give a guarantee. How about you? How is your work going?" He asked.

"It's going smoothly dad! And there're no objections from the other parties! So I don't think there will be any obstacle now!" I said.

Dad nodded.

"Everything ready for your trip tomorrow?" Dad asked.

"Yeah! Everything is done! We will be leaving in the early morning, at 6AM!" I replied nodding.

"Hm! Be careful on your way okay? You're not even taking any bodyguards with you! But still I'd suggest you to take some bodyguards!" Dad said.

"Dad! We will be fine! Don't worry!" I reassured him.

"Hm okay fine! As you say!"

Next Day, Feb 6th

Currently I am outside our home with Varun, Armaan and Duggu bhaiya. We are just doing the last minute checks if we have everything we need or not. We have three 3 bikes for the three of us. I will be riding my BMW R1200GS whilst Varun will ride his Honda Blackbird and Armaan, a Kawasaki GTR1400.

Cold hands make riding virtually impossible due to the loss of sensation and mobility in your hands and fingers; therefore it's recommended that by adding some much needed heat to help combat the wind chill allowing you a more comfortable and safer ride. That's why we all have coats, winter boots, beanies, goggles and hand gloves. High leather boots in her feet and a pink beanie over her head.

Shanaya came here just some times before and now she is inside with Mia and Sam.

"Everything done Yuvi?" Dad said coming outside the house.

"Yeah dad! We are ready to go!" I said.

Dad nodded. Then the girls (Shanaya, Mia and Sam) came out. Mia was wearing a pink high neck cropped jumper, pairing it with a high waisted jeans and a faux fur collar hooded overcoat.

Mia is riding with me of course, Sam with Armaan and Shanaya with V. So Mia came and stood beside me.

"Ready for the adventure baby?" I asked with a smile.

"Yess! I am just so excited!" She said with a squeal making me and the others chuckle.

Mum came to us.

"Yuvi! Kashmir must be freezing in this season so I want you to take a proper care of yourself and the others! Especially of my soon to be bahu! I will not spare you if something happens to her okay?" Mum threatened.

Ouch! See that's why I wanted more boys in the house!

"Yes mum! Don't worry! I will take care of everything and everyone!" I said.

"Ready guys!" I asked to V and Armaan who nodded in agreement wearing their helmets.

I too wore my helmet and put the key in the keyhole of the bike. Sitting over I started the engine which started with a roar. I signalled and gave my hand to Mia to hop on. She nodded and placed her one hand in mine and another on my shoulder as she climbed behind me and sat down.

"Hold on to me baby!" I said as she nodded and wrapped her arms under my armpit holding on to my shoulders. Her body pressed to my back.

"Everyone settled?" I asked.

Sam and Shanaya nodded holding on to Armaan and Varun respectively. I gave the boys a nod.

Waving at everyone as they wished us for a great adventure we drove out of the main gates to the road. I was the first one to get on the roads whilst V and Armaan came behind me.

The winter wind of Delhi blew past us. The sun has already rised but due to the mild fog and clouds there were not much sunlight which looked quite beautiful but the weather was hella cold. Delhi's winter is marked by very dense fog and haze, which dramatically reduce visibility and makes days colder by cutting off sunlight. In the opposite scenario, cold north-westerly winds from the upper reaches of Himalayas blowing across the city makes the days feel colder, despite any sunshine and the nights further cold. By mid-February or somewhat beyond, minimum temperatures cross the 10°C mark and days start getting warmer gradually, marking the end of winter. Delhi can sometimes have a prolonged season of chill, extending into March. So currently there is the coldness present in the environment of Delhi.

I've also checked the weather of Srinagar before the trip. Our first destination will be Panipat which is just 110 kilometres away by the NH1. Driving through the Mathura Road we finally reached Bhairon marg. Then by the long Mahatma Gandhi Marg, outer ring road & pushta road, we finally reached to the NH1 bypass which took 26 minutes and drove towards the north to Panipat, Haryana. (All the informations are from Map and a close friend of mine who is from India)

The whole way to Panipat I kept on checking Mia behind me along with the others. Mia seemed to be fascinated with the beauty of North India. Each direction of India has it's own identity and diversity. As the North side is famous for the languages, winter wind and snows along with the wedding rituals. South India is famous for their languages, technologies, beaches and auspicious locations. East has it's own charm like Rath Yatra in Odisha and Durga Puja in West Bengal. And west has the whole fashion, lifestyle and bollywood making the place more fascinating and enchanting. Every places in India has it's own identity in their food cuisine too for which India is famous all over the world.

We finally stopped after one hour and forty minutes in Panipat. Panipat is a historic city in Haryana, India. The city is famous in India as the "City of Weavers" and "Textile City". It is also known as the "cast-off capital" due to being "the global centre for recycling textiles".

Mia climbed off the bike with my help and I took out my key as I got down and so did Varun and Armaan. Currently we are here for our breakfast.

"Come on! Let's eat first! We've a long way to cover!" I said.

I led Mia inside with my hand on her back. A waiter showed us a table with six seats and we all settled in. Ordering for our breakfast, we ate as fast as we could. Mia ate Italian sandwich with a paan mojito whilst I ate the same with a frappé. After we were done, I paid and we were off to karnal. It didn't take us much time to reach to Karnal which was just 39 kilometres away. We didn't stop and drove to Ambala. From Ambala we reached at Ludhiana and then we finally stopped again at Phagwara, Punjab after five hours and ten minutes.

We stopped at Haveli restaurant which was situated in Phagwara-Jalandhar highway where we did our lunch. We all had the authentic punjabi thali there. The dal makhani, and lachcha paratha in the thali gave us the true flavours of Punjab. In special thali shahi paneer, mix veg, dahi vada and firni were very delicious. And the best part of the thali were unlimited crunchy tandoori roti.

Varun was damn hungry that he even cursed me for not stopping in Ludhiana for lunch but after he saw the special thali in Phagwara, let's just say he started to kiss the path I walked. After our lunch in Phagwara, we drove to Jalandhar which was just twenty minutes away. After jalandhar we stopped again in Pathankot where we booked some rooms in a hotel to freshen up and rest for sometime.

Parking our bikes we climbed off of it. February is in the winter in Pathankot and is typically the 3rd coldest month of the year. The temperature in here is 15°C currently. Taking off my helmet, I glanced at Mia who has her cheeks all red and her hands tucked in her fur coat.

"Are you okay baby?" I asked rubbing her back.

She nodded and gave me a smile.

"The city is beautiful!" She said.

"Yeah! I agree!" I said.

For sure, Pathankot is a beautiful city. Pathankot district shares an international border, on its west, with Pakistan. Pathankot district is at the intersection of three of the northern states of India - Punjab, Himachal Pradesh and Jammu and Kashmir. Due to its location, Pathankot serves as a travel hub for these three northerly states. Pathankot is the 6th most populous city of Punjab, after Ludhiana, Amritsar, Jalandhar, Patiala and Bathinda.

"Man! This place is freaking beautiful!" Armaan said taking pictures of the surrounding which were covered by hilly areas and fogs as the evening was coming.

"I know right! But now let's go inside, I am damn tired with holding the handles for so so long!" Varun whined.

"You are always tired V!" I scoffed making Sam, Mia and Shanaya giggle.

"Come on guys! Let's get inside!" I said and led Mia inside.

Sam, Armaan, Varun and Shanaya followed us to the reception of the hotel. I approached to the receptionist with Mia.

"H-hello sir! W-welcome to Best Western La Vista P-pathankot! How can I help y-you!" The receptionist asked politely with a professional smile.

Looks like she knows who I am! Who doesn't! *Smirks*

"I have a reservation under my name, Yuvraj Singhania!" I said glancing at Mia who checked the interior of the hotel.

"Just a m-minute sir!" The receptionist said and typed something.

Probably my name!

"Kri-! Yuvraj sir! You're here! Hello sir I am Paras Yadav the manager of this hotel! Welcome to Best Western La Vista Pathankot sir! I've already checked your rooms sir! I will show you the way!" The manager said and I nodded.

He ushered us towards the lift and we all got in. He showed us our rooms and left us to get freshened up. Me, V and Armaan took one whilst the girls took another. I freshened up after Armaan and changed my clothes.

We all checked out of the hotel after I paid through my card. Armaan and V insisted on paying but I wasn't going to let them do that.

Mia was looking much fresh and good now making the relief washed over me. We already had some snacks and hot coffee so we were ready to stop in Jammu for next.

The sun has already set and it was all dark now when we finally stopped in front of our hotel in Jammu. The atmosphere in Jammu is cold and foggy after the sunset and the evening is chilly. Taking off my gloves I rubbed my palms as we made our way inside the hotel where the manager knew me and showed us our rooms which were reserved by Karan.

I went straight to the bed as Varun and Armaan took a look around the hotel room. I took off my shoes and jacket, turning on the room heater. Taking out some comfortable t-shirt and trousers I made my way towards the washroom. Taking a hot bath to relax my sore muscles, I wiped off my body and changed into the clothes I brought with me inside.

I came out of the washroom. Wearing my jacket I sat on the bed. Picking up my phone from the bed I dialled mum. Just when V went inside the washroom and Armaan was on his phone too.

"Hello! Yuvraj! Did you guys reach Jammu safely?" Mum asked as soon as she picked up.

"Yep mum! It's been thirty minutes! We all are fine; just a little sore muscles! But all okay now as I took a hot bath! So you don't need to worry!" I said.

"Hm okay! And what about the rest? How is Mia and Samaira?" She asked.

"They must be fine mum! Thanks for reminding me! I will go and check on them! I will talk to you tomorrow! Take care okay!" I said.

"Yeah I will! You take care of yourself and the rest! I will wait for your call tomorrow! Call me before you leave the hotel tomorrow!" She said.

"Yeah I will! Good night mum! I love you!" I said.

"Love you too beta! Good night!" She said and hung up.

Getting up I wore the slippers and tucked my phone inside my trousers pocket.

"Armaan! I will go and check on the girls! Get ready we will be going out for dinner!" I said.

He nodded. I made my way towards the door and opening it I stepped out of the room. The girls room is just beside us so I knocked on their room. After some seconds the door opened to reveal Mia.

"Hey! How are you feeling now baby?" I asked softly caressing her cheek.

She smiled softly and came closer to me, placing her hands on my chest. My arms snaked around her waist and I held her to my chest.

"I am fine Yuvi! What about you? Your muscles must be sore!" She asked.

"I am fine baby! I just took a hot bath! I  am much better now! Are Shanaya and Sam ready? We need to leave for dinner! I want to show you the city a little!" I said.

"Really! Wow! That's great! And yeah Sam's ready! And Shanaya was inside the washroom, but she too must be ready till now!" She said.

"Hm! Go call them and grab a overcoat it will be chilly outside! And I don't want to fall sick!" I said and pecked her lips.

"Okay!" She nodded and went inside whilst I waited outside.

After sometime, Varun and Armaan joined me outside and Mia, Shanaya and Sam also came.

"Let's go guys!" I said and led them all outside towards our bikes.

Getting on the bike, I started the engine and helped Mia to climb on behind me. She held me close and put her head on my back whilst I drove off towards the market area of Jammu.

Jammu lies on the banks of the pristine Tapi river. It is dotted with hundreds of temples. From the popular Hindu pilgrimage of Vaishno Devi, which is located nearby, to scores of religious structures set in picturesque surroundings, Jammu is the ideal site to set on a temple trail and soak in spiritual vibes.

The city is truly unreal. And this must look much more beautiful in the morning. I stopped my bike in front of the restaurant along with Varun and Armaan. We went in and ordered our food. We kept it light as we didn't want to fall sick after the tiredness and all the travels with these oily and greasy food. We ate some salad bowls and soups. We talked with some of the localities and they were so kind and welcoming. After sometime we went back to the hotel and went to our separate rooms to sleep as we need to wake up early in the morning.

Mia came with Sam and Shanaya outside with a big smile on her face making my day. Currently we were waiting for the girls to come so that we can continue our journey and here they are. Today is Rose day. So I had ordered the hotel staff to bring a bouquet of roses and send it to the girl's room with my card on it where I wrote my message.

She strolled towards me wearing a maroon crop top and high-waisted jeans with a white and blue fur coat.

"Happy Rose day baby! Did you like my surprise?" I asked wrapping my arms around her waist as she came close to me.

"Yeah! The roses were so fresh and so beautiful!" She said with a smile.

"That's good! So are you ready for the drive today cause we are going to be in Srinagar till the evening!" I asked.

"Yeah! I can't wait!" She said.

"Come on then! We will stop at Patnitop next for some rest! Did you have some coffee or you want me to stop somewhere in a cafe here?" I asked.

"No! I had my coffee! Did you call mum?" She asked.

"Yeah I did!" I said.

I just called mum before the girls came and talked with her as she said before leaving Jammu. We all climbed on our bikes and drove off. We already had our breakfast in the hotel as the places next doesn't have much restaurants and even if there is we don't know if the places will be opened or not.

Patnitop, Udhampur

Climbing off the bike we looked at our surroundings.

"Damn it's so beautiful!" Shanaya said.

Patnitop is a hill resort located in the Udhampur district of Jammu and Kashmir on a plateau in the Shivalik belt. At a height of 2024 meters and surrounded by dense forests, forms the backdrop of Chenab River flowing nearby. This flourishing hill top boasts of three fresh water springs with ice cold water and having medicinal properties. A thick snow fall in winters is a great tourist attraction. A haven for outdoor pursuits, Patnitop is also a trailhead for numerous treks to the nearby mountains and a charm for adventure lovers. It provides for a breath taking view of the Pir Panjal range. Patnitop is located in the lower Himalayan range close to Pir Panjal, 47 km from Udhampur and 112 km from Jammu. This famous hill resort is perched on a beautiful plateau, across which the Jammu-Srinagar Highway passes. The towns of Kud and Batote are nearby.

The town and hilltops were covered by snows and the sunlight falling on it made it look so surreal. Shanaya and Sam dragged Mia to take some selfies whilst me, Varun and Armaan also took selfies and pictures. Damn the place was beautiful than described in Google. Everyone should must visit the God's beautiful creation once in their lifetimes.

After sometime we again hit the roads and the next stop is our final stop in Srinagar which will take mostly 5 hours.

Srinagar, Jammu and Kashmir

We reached at Srinagar earlier than expected thanks to the Indian Armed forces who serves their country in every damn situation. On hearing whose name we Indian's hearts fill with pride and bravery. Due to the winter season, the roads to Srinagar were not so safe but due to the hardworks of Indian Armed forces and the government of J&K the path to Srinagar got much safer than last night as there were some landslides last night in this area.

The place has banned WiFi networks currently so it was hard to find our hotel. I tried to contact Karan but the mobile network didn't help because of the landslide yesterday as some of the mobile towers has been harmed because of it. But the local people of Srinagar were a great help. They were kind enough to show the path all the way to our hotel. Before leading us to our hotel, they even treated with the hot kashmiri chai which was a relief in this chilly weather. The people were nice and kind-hearted towards the tourists which showed how amazing this place and the people who lives in here is! The lifestyle of the people of Srinagar is very much simple it does not match with the lifestyle of the urban people. Srinagar People are warm and engaging and good in attending their guest they treat you with love and care.

Writing and dedicating chapters in my story to India was never the thought! Knowing the republic day of India is around the corner, I couldn't stop the Indian in myself and wrote the chapter with all the love and respect I have for India. Birth and upbringing in the UK has never stopped the UK Indians from loving India. Our heart also cried when there was the attack on several places of Mumbai in 26/11 and during the Pulwama attack. Our eyes smiled when there was success and development in India. Smile never left our faces when we saw the respect and love Resident Indians have for Mother India and the brave soldiers! Our hearts filled with pride when we saw the people of Jammu and Kashmir with Indian flag singing Indian National anthem!

Raising funds and doing every possible thing we can gives us the satisfaction that we also can do something for the country we love! Some of us knows the whole Indian anthem perfectly whilst some of us knows only some paragraphs. And that contained me too. But the love and respect increases everytime we saw an Indian flag.

Being part of many Indian and India related societies is a great thing for the people related to India in the UK. As many of you don't know that I have a Kiwi nationality too and I have been close to many Indians in NZ also. I also know some Indians living in USA, Canada, Australia, Vietnam and Dubai. All the people outside India having an Indian origin has always tried their best to make India more proud.

Salute to those martyrs, legends and brave Indian forces who devoted their lives for the nation. Hats off to the ones who gave away their lives to safeguard the country and the people living in there. Hats off to the mothers who gave birth to such brave personalities!

To the incredible India and the Indians living there, A very happy 72nd Republic Day! May India develops more and may the happiness, pride and patriotism never leaves the hearts of the Indians! Jai Hind🇮🇳
