If an adult is unconscious but breathing, and has no other injuries that would stop them being moved, place them in the recovery position until help arrives.
What is a recovery position?
-: • With the person lying on their back, kneel on the floor at their side.
• Extend the arm nearest you at a right angle to their body with their palm facing up.
• Take their other arm and fold it so the back of their hand rests on the cheek closest to you, and hold it in place.
• Use your free hand to bend the person's knee farthest from you to a right angle.
• Carefully roll the person onto their side by pulling on the bent knee.
• Their bent arm should be supporting the head, and their extended arm will stop you rolling them too far.
• Make sure their bent leg is at a right angle.
• Open their airway by gently tilting their head back and lifting their chin, and check that nothing is blocking their airway.
• Stay with the person and monitor their condition until help arrives.
If an adult isn't breathing normally, call 999 (For the UK, I don't know what it is for India) and start CPR straight away.
Use hands-only CPR if you aren't trained to perform rescue breaths.

It's been a week already since we all got home and Yuvraj proposed me. There has been constant talks between me and him. We talk almost five to six times in a day and do facetime for atleast two times. We even text to eachother all the day and it all seems so distant.
We all got to know that Priyanka bhabhi was pregnant just after some days we got back from Jodhpur. Everyone were happy and we even gave her our best wishes on phone as we cannot visit because of our works. But we have promised her to visit her on her baby shower and she was okay with it.
About Yuvraj, I am missing him would be an understatement. I missed being in his protective embrace. The way he always holds me in his arms is just too hard to explain. There is a feeling of safety, completeness, euphoria in his arms that I feel. The way he kisses my forehead during his hugs it always made me feel loved. Just like my dad and Abhi dada does. The way his hold tightens on me when he is tensed made me feel protected. The way he caressed my back and arms during I was tensed or upset made me feel better. Everything with him was like a fairytale.

Washing my face I sighed. I just came to my room after my morning workout. Today there is election in New Delhi so I've already gave Yuvi my best wishes. Mum and Dad are in New York. Mum is there for her Annual Medicine Seminar and dad has went with her for his conference. Nirmala aunty also wasn't home. Her daughter was expecting her delivery soon so she had to stay with her. Dad was about to appoint a chef but I denied him as it wasn't needed.
There are still the servants in the house. Rakesh bhaiya (gardener, if you remember from the first ever chapter London to Bombay) is here too.
The doorbell rang making me frown. The guards are outside and I wasn't expecting someone.
Drying my wet hands off in a towel, I came out of my room and descended downstairs to see a servant opening the door. A bodyguard and a delivery boy with a big bouquet of beautiful peonies came inside.
"Miss Mr. Singhania has sent these for you!" The bodyguard said.
Oh! Yuvraj! Again?! God! When will he stop?!
"Oh thank you!" I said with a smile and took the bouquet from the delivery boy. They left and the servant locked the door.
The whole week he is been sending something everyday. Either it is chocolates, perfumes, roses or different types of flowers. He is spoiling just like my dada and dad does. The males in my life is so he'll bound to spoil me and trust me I don't like it at all.
Smelling the peonies a wide smile spread on my lips seeing how beautiful & bright they were. Putting the bouquet on the couch, I sat beside it and took out the card tucked in.
"My world has changed for the better since I met you. I love you Baby! xx
- Your Yuvraj!"
I smiled and took the bouquet in my hand before walking back to my room. I opened the door to my room and put the bouquet on my bedside table. Kissing the flowers, I took the phone from the bed and texted Yuvraj!
Mia - "I have enjoyed every moment we've spent together. Thank you for spending time with me. Your care and attentiveness mean the world to me! I love you x"
I put the phone down on the bed and made my way towards the washroom. Closing the door behind me, I stripped off my workout clothes. I removed the hairband from my ponytail and let them fall freely enveloping my shoulders. Standing under the shower I turned the tap on as the cold water hit my body. I washed my body and hairs with the cold water. Squirting some body wash in my hands, I rubbed 'em all over my body. Taking the scrubber, I scrubbed my body with it. Then squirted some strawberry flavoured shampoo in my hand. Rubbing 'em in my hands, I massaged it on my head. After that I washed my head and body.
After I was done with showering, I closed the lid and wiped the water off my face with my hands. Then I wiped the water off my body with a dry towel. Wrapping the towel over my wet hairs and another dry towel over my body. I came out of the washroom and went inside my closet.
Picking my dress up, I slipped in my innerwear and then the dress. Taking off the wet towel from my hairs, I put it aside and wore my earrings. Taking out a matching pair of heels I came outside my closet and sat infront of the mirror. Applying a little body lotion on my neck and hands, I started my make-up. I put on some orange lipstick and then dry blowed my hair.
My eyes went to the promise ring by Yuvraj making me smile.
I left my hair open & wore my heels. Wearing my wrist watch I picked up my handbag and went downstairs. I scurried inside the kitchen & made a light breakfast for me.
Heating a little amount of oil in a non stick pan I cut the tomatoes and fried it. Whilst the tomatoes were cooking I beat 2 eggs with the herbs and plenty of freshly ground black pepper in a small bowl. Scooping the tomatoes out of the pan I put them on the serving plate. I pour the egg mixture into the pan & stirred gently with a wooden spoon so the egg that sets on the base of the pan moves to enable uncooked egg to flow into the space. When it was nearly cooked I stopped stirring to allow it to set into an omelette. Cutting the omelette into four pieces, I served it in the serving plate.
I took the plate & went to the dining hall. Sitting on my chair, I cut a piece of omelette & put it inside my mouth. I missed mum and dad in the dining table & it must be 11PM in NY as it's only after 9 AM in India. So rummaging inside my handbag, I took out my phone and dialled mum.
After three or four ring, I heard her voice from the other side.
"Hello! Baby?"
"Hey Mum! Were you sleeping? Did I disturb you?" I asked making another bite of my breakfast.
"No sweetheart! We were working! What are you doing? Are you ready for the hospital and have you ate something?" She asked.
"Yeah Mum! Don't worry about me! I am ready and just having breakfast! I just missed you two eating with me that's why I called you! Where is dad?" I asked.
"I am here sweetie!" He said.
"Oh Hey dad! Have you two are your dinner?" I asked.
"Yes we did baby! Don't worry about us and take care of yourself okay!" Dad said.
I talked a little with them till I was done with my breakfast. Then I picked my handbag up and left the house. Walking outside, a bodyguard opened the car door for me as I sat inside. The driver started the engine and we drove off to the Seven Hills.

A guard again opened the car door for me as the driver parked the car in front of the hospital. I got out and straightened my dress before walking inside the hospital. I spotted Komal behind the reception stand.
"Hey Komal! Good morning!" I greeted her cheerfully.
Her eyes snapped to mine as she gave me a warm smile.
"Hey Mia! Morning to you too! How are you today?" She asked.
"I am fine! What about you?" I asked.
"I am good too! Hey what if we grab a lunch outside today! You, me, Neha & Raghvir!" She asked enthusiastically.
"Well that's fine for me! You need to ask Neha and Raghvir though!" I said.
"Oh don't worry I will do that and let you know! See ya later!" She said.
I nodded with a smile and took lift to the floor where my cabin is. After reaching the floor, I rushed to my cabin and pushed open the door. Putting my handbag aside, I wore my coat & tied my hairs in a ponytail.
Let's do it!
Saying this to myself, I made my way towards the wards.
12:56PM IST
My work was almost done for today and I am sitting inside my cabin from 12PM. Komal has already texted me that Neha and Raghvir were up for the lunch. So currently after the half day I was waiting for Neha to finish her shift. Yuvraj has replied me back and I saw the news on Google about how the voting were going on in Delhi. I have seen many photos of Yuvraj and my in-laws. Yuvraj looked handsome like always and looked quite confident making me proud. I know he will win seeing The Singhania's reputation and respect in New Delhi.
There was a knock on my door making me snap out of my thoughts. Neha peeked in.
"Hey Mia! Let's go! Raghvir and Komal are waiting for us in the reception!" She said.
"Yeah! Let's go!" I said as I got up and took my handbag before leaving the cabin with Neha.
We got inside the lift and went to the ground floor where the reception was. We saw Komal and Raghvir there waiting for us.
"Hey guys!" Neha chirped.
Komal and Raghvir's eyes snapped to us as they smiled and waved. Finally we reached to them.
"So shall we leave?" Raghvir asked.
We nodded and followed him outside. I informed my guards that I will be going to lunch with my friends, they insisted to come with me, but I denied them. Getting inside Raghvir's car, I sat in the passenger seat as Neha and Komal has already took the backseats. Raghvir started the engine and soon we were driving beside the cars and vehicles in Mumbai's busy roads.

After driving through the busy traffic in Mumbai, Raghvir finally parked his acr in front of a continental restaurant called The Fusion Kitchen. We got out and made our way inside. A waiter showed us our seats and we settled in. After going through the menu, I opted for a local platter which contained exotic veggies cooked in indian gravy served with paneer tikka, roti and jeera rice.
Neha went for Estragnofe de champignon (brazilian mushroom Stroganoff in tomato cream sauce, served with parsley rice, sauteed bell peppers, onion & finger fries). Raghvir ordered stuffed vegetable patty served with green herbed sauce, garlic bread & steam rice. Whilst Komal had Veg paprika (assorted veggies tossed in paprika sauce with prepared rice and mashed potatoes). As for the desserts I and Neha had banoffee pie whilst Raghvir and Komal had s'mores peanut butter explosion.
After we were done, Raghvir insisted on paying and didn't let us to pay. We argued but he was just too stubborn to hear. And at last he won and payed the bill.
After our lunch we came back to the hospital and went for our respective works.
03:56PM IST
I went downstairs towards the canteen to grab a coffee for me. It's been a hectic day. The first half didn't have patient at all and when we came back the hospital was much crowded and we had more patients to attend. Just after I was done with my parts of patients I came downstairs to grab a coffee for me and Raghvir. We two had been working our arses off from the afternoon and we seriously need a hot coffee.
Grabbing two Costa coffees I got inside the lift. Walking towards Raghvir's cabin, I knocked on it twice.
"Come in!" Raghvir said from behind the door.
Pushing the door open, I went inside. Raghvir's eyes met with mine as his lips curled into a smile.
"Hey Mia!" He said.
"Hey! This is for you!" I said and gave him his cup of coffee.
"Oh thank you! That's so sweet of you!" He thanked me.
"My pleasure! So everyone's done, I didn't see any patients outside!" I asked.
"Yeah I am done too! Take a seat please!" He said.
"Uh no no! Actually I have to call Yuvraj! He must be waiting for my call so I have to go!" I said.
"Oh! Okay! You're happy right?" He asked.
"Yeah! I am! He makes me happy!" I said with a smile.
"Alright! I will take my leave! Call me if you need anything!" I said and left as he nodded.
I came to my cabin and sat on my chair sipping from my coffee. I called Yuvraj and talked to him for a few minutes as I have some reports to check and I know he must have some work too. After I was done talking with Yuvraj, I spend my time working on the patients reports that were on my table.

Pushing the door open to my room, I plopped on my bed and sighed. My phone rang breaking me out of my trance. I took out my phone from the handbag and saw a unknown number. Picking the call up I held it over my ear.
"Hello?" I said.
There were no response from the other side. The only thing that was heard from the other side was someone's breaths which were quite rugged. There were some sounds of glass clinking too. I frowned and looked at the number again. The number was local which was from Maharastra. I put the phone back to my ear.
"Hello?" I asked again.
No response again.
"Excuse me! Anyone there?" I asked again.
No response again. Looks like someone must have called in mistake. Shaking my head I was about to cut the call when I heard a humming. The voice was muffled. I frowned and heard the hum. The humming tone was quite familiar and he was doing it pretty awesome. But trust me it felt creepy.
"Kyon ki itnaaa pyaaaar tumkoooo! Karteeee hainn hummm" The person from other side said.
My frown deepened hearing the song. Yes now I got it. The hum was from this song. But who is this and why is he singing? The voice was muffled and slurring so I guess it must be from a drunkard. Frowning I cut the call & sighed deeply. Who the fuck was it?
I removed my heels and rubbed my feet a little before getting up. Making my way towards the closet, I picked up some comfortable clothes for me and got inside the washroom. I took a shower and slipped into my outfit.
I came out of the washroom and wore my slippers gifted to me by Yuvraj. The whole time I was showering the hums and the song the unknown person sang was on my mind and it kinds creeped me out and made me feel uncomfortable.
Walking towards my bed, I picked my phone up and dialled Yuvraj's number. After two or three rings, he finally picked up.
"Hello Mia!" He said and concern was lacing in his tone.
"H-hey Yuvi! How did it go today?" I asked in a timid voice and cursed myself internally because of stuttering.
"Everything went well baby! What happened? Why do you sound upset?" He asked now in worry.
"Uh no! It's nothing big Yuvi! Just a prank call which made me a little uncomfortable!" I said which was the half truth because the call truly made me uncomfortable and about the prank think I am not sure about it.
"Prank call? Who was that and what did it say?" Yuvraj asked.
"No! The person didn't say anything! Instead he was singing a song! It felt like he was a drunkard though!" I said making him sigh. I hope it's in relief because tension will be the last thing I'd want to give him now during his elections.
"Hm okay! Are you sure everything is okay? Do you want me to check up on the number sweetheart?" He asked softly making me smile.
"No No! That's fine Yuvraj! He was a Drunkard and he must have dialled a wrong number! Don't worry! I am fine!" I said.
"Okay baby If you say so! But you're going to let me know if this happens again! Won't you baby?" He asked.
"Okay I will Yuvi!" I said.
Then I talked to him a little and got to know that he was driving back to his mansion. I didn't want to be a disturbance but he said he will be fine and he wants to talk to me so I couldn't deny and talked to him for sometime.
After my conversation with Yuvraj I checked the time to find it's already past 7:30. So I went downstairs to the kitchen and made dinner for me. I don't like take-outs much and if mum will know, she will literally kill me. The condition mum and dad gave me for not hiring another cook was for me to eat at home. So padding towards the kitchen, I took out the ingredients needed to make cheesy potatoes bake.
Preheating the oven I greased a baking dish and put a saucepan on gas. After the sauce was done I added some cheese to it. Cutting the potatoes I placed it inside the baking dish and sprinkled salt and pepper. Then putting 1/3rd of the cheese sauce over it I again added the potatoes. Repeating the process for two times, I added the remaining cheese and placed the baking dish inside. I set the timer for an hour and went to the living room.
Plopping down on the couch, I turned on the TV and put Netflix on. Sprawling on the huge couch with a fluffy pillow under my head I scrolled through the movies and finally put Harry Potter on. I watched the movie till I heard the oven's beep sound. Pausing the movie, I got up from the couch and wore my slippers before making my way towards the kitchen. Opening the gloves, I took out the dish and placed it on the counter. Grabbing a spatula, I served some for me. Opening the refrigerator, I took out a coca cola can and went back to living room with my food.
I put the food on the couch and called a server to bring me some blankets. I lowered the AC temperature a little then got inside the blankets brought by a maid. I resumed the movie and leaned on the couch eating my food.
09:45PM IST
The movie just ended and I got up from the couch with my empty plate & coca cola can. Making my way towards the kitchen, I threw the empty can inside the bin and washed my plate. I put the plate in it's place and went upstairs to my room.
Pushing the door open, I went inside and closed the door behind me. I took my laptop from my study table and mobile from bed and then made my way outside in the balcony. The balcony to my room was glass shielded fo safety and there wasn't much coldness because of the closed balcony. I sat on the bean bag and wore my glasses. I barely wore them & most of the time I had my contact lenses. Opening the laptop lid, I browsed on some scientific and medicine facts on Google.
Being a medic it's important for you to be familiar with new inventions and discoveries in medicine. I also booked a ticket to London as I have some work left there & I've promised my friends to visit soon. So yeah my ticket is on next weekend. And it's already Saturday now. Mum and dad will be back before I will leave for London.
After sometime I went back inside and got on the bed covering my body with the duvet.
Next Morning, 08:34AM IST
Today is the day when Yuvraj's result is going to be announced. The whole India has their eyes on the television screen and so does mine. Currently Yuvraj is leading and I know he will be the winner. To boost his spirit I sent him a text.
Mia- You've given your best my love! I know you will win! All the best! Remember that I am with you always & forever! I love you! :)😘
Yuvi❤️ - I love you baby :) Thank you for standing by my side and that's the thing I need from you! You are my strength and thank you for raising my winning spirit😘
My text was just delivered and he saw it at the same moment. After a minute or two he replied.
Currently I was getting ready to visit an orphanage and an animal shelter. It's Sunday and I didn't have any shift today so I decided to spend my day with cute babies and cute animals.
I've visited to the orphanages in mumbai many times. Spending my time with the little angels is one of my favourite hobbies. I still remember the first time I had visited an orphanage with dad when I was seven. It was a two-storey building with a terrace. The walls of the home were old and the paint had worn off. It looked like the house was without maintenance for years. There was a common hall. There were mattresses pilled up and small red and yellow color lockers. There were few bunk beds too.
Most of the children were watching TV when we entered. Few boys were having breakfast and many boys were out for studies. The age group of the children were ranging from 5 years to 14 years. When we entered, most of the children started staring at us. My dad was holding my hand in his whilst I walked in with my hands clutching his tightly. We had brought food, coldrinks, books, chocolates, pens, etc. with us. The guards distributed the things whilst dad had a talk with the children with me on his lap as he was sat on the couch. I also made some friends with the help of dad and a girl of 16 year old who was a part of the orphanage named Alka. I played some indoor and outdoor games with the orphanage children.
Everyone were so active and happy there. Elder children were informing us about the rules and regulation that everyone in the shelter is supposed to follow. Like no one can leave the Shelter without permission, no one can click a close-up pic of the children, etc.
After visiting the orphanage you start appreciating the little things in life when you see people who don't have them. Only at such times do you tide over the insignificant and immaterial things and appreciate the bigger picture.
And in recent years I have been visiting a special orphanage which is very close to my heart. The orphanage was made by my maternal grandpa. It is situated in Dombivali.
It's an orphanage - home to about 40 children right from the age of 1 day to about 8 years, 5 caretakers and a woman in charge of the entire place. The moment you enter the orphanage, you tend to feel both happy and sad at the same time when you see children playing, fighting with each other, crying, laughing, cribbing about certain things (like who's better: guys or girls?), dancing, and so on. Th children are really talented; some of them good at singing and some good at dancing and some just have enough talent to wink at girls! Simply observing their talent makes you feel happy and you wish you could spend as much time with them as possible.
If there is one occasion that gives me a lot of happiness and which I look forward to most, it has to be this activity. I feel I am born to spend at least a quarter of my life with these children. It is a well-known fact and was further reiterated in my physiotherapy class that every person has a 'naturalchild' inside of him and in my case it's so strong that if someone happens to extricate that natural child out of me, I would probably die.
When you give serious thought to this situation, some hard hitting questions arise. It's synonymous to getting hit on the head by a hammer; the only difference is you bleedinternallyandnotexternally. There are questions like 'What did these little angels do to deserve this?', 'What would happen when these children grow up and get ready to face the world which is outside this cocoon?' 'Would people like us treat these children in the same way they would treat any other child, irrespective of any religious/social divide?' and themostimportantand unworldly question of all is 'How can the Omni power be so unfair to these children? Aren't these children like all other children?
I think if I ask these questions to myself, I may get the answers.
After visiting this place quite a few times, I realised that most of the children are left to fend for themselves either because the family did not have financial means to take care of them or they just abandoned them. In some cases, the parents just didn't have the experience to raise a child and had to give them up for good. It is unfortunate how these children are in a ripe age but have already lost a significant part of their childhood hey had no one to give them a name, no one to understand and care for them, no one to take them out, and no opportunity to go to school.
None of us liked it when our parents reprimanded us for not studying properly, when we made blunders, when we fought with our siblings or friends, when we didn't listen to them but there was a concern behind every word that they said. Secretly, there were two drops of tears shed & for every tear, there was an unsaid, unwrittenpromise that they would take care of us at every juncture of our lives no matter what their condition. These children are lacking all those words of care, anger, love and all the feelings that parents express towards their children.
Currently I was wearing a white high waisted jeans with a peach crop top and a white jacket. My hairs were open and I had a slight orange makeup on. After I was done with my outfit, I came downstairs and went to kitchen.
I made myself some almond flour pancakes.
After I was done with my breakfast, I picked up my car keys and went outside where my car was parked. I informed the guards where I was living for so they got ready in their cars and followed me.

Parking my car aside, I got down from the car to only get welcomed by the manager of the orphanage.
"Hello Miss Roy! It's nice to see you again! Please come!" He said and led me inside where I got welcomed with a series of screams of "Mia didi!"
A wide smile spread on my lips as I saw the excited babies who were all around 3-9 year olds. I spread my arms for the little angels as they came running to me and tackled me on the ground with their hugs. There were around 35 children in the orphanage currently. Among of which 3 were of more than 15 year age and rest were from 1 to 9 years old. Whilst the little babies tackled me to the ground I heard some giggles. Looking up to see I found the senior (above 15) fellas. Giving them a smile, I composed myself and sat on the ground on my knees so that I can hug them all. One by one I hugged all and kissed them on their faces.
The guards put the gifts I brought for them inside. Sumitra aunty who was the caretaker of the orphanage home came out of the kitchen wiping her hands in her cotton saree.
"Oh Mia beti! Tabhi main sochu ye nanhe shaitan itna kyu cheekh rahe hein!" She said glaring at the children with fake stern looks whilst the little devils stuck their tongue out at her making me giggle.
Sumitra aunty is a widower in her past sixties. Her family which contained her son and daughter in law abandoned her after her husband was no more. They even took away her all savings and properties from her late husband. Dad helped her and took her in for our orphanage home. Dad even asked her to place a FIR against her son and daughter in law but Sumi aunty was against of it. She said if her son was happy then she is perfectly fine with it.
Typical Mums!
I got up and touched her feet. She instantly took me in her embrace.
"How are you sumi aunty?" I asked pulling back from her embrace.
"I am fine mera bachcha! How are you and how is your parents?" She asked patting my cheek and looking at me lovingly.
"We all are fine! So what's the little angels had for breakfast today?" I asked looking at the children.
"Little angels?! Instead Little devils they are! And they had Masala dosa with with sambar and coconut chutney today! I have some more left, you wanna have some beta?" She asked.
"I would have loved to aunty but trust me I am so fool! Maybe I can eat that in lunch!" I said.
"In lunch? No way I am going to let you eat those in lunch! I will make fresh dosa for you to take home! And I will make you your favourite in lunch today!" She said.
"Geez fine Aunty! But I am going to help you and you cannot deny me! Okay?" I said.
"As you wish beta!" She said.
"Come on let's see the babies first!" I said and followed the children inside to the babies room.
Door opened to greet with the beautiful cribs and some babies sleeping whilst some other playing with their hands and legs. My heart felt warm seeing these cute little angels. The room walls were coloured in pink colour and some fairy, flowers and superheroes paintings.
My eyes fell on a crib in the third place of the first row where the baby was giggling and smiling wide up at the hanging & rotating musical jhoomar.
I padded down towards the crib and called the baby softly.
"Hey! Awh aren't you the cutesttt!" I said softly and picked her up gently in my hands.
Cradling her in my arm I cooed making her smile more widely. She was really beautiful. Those adorable tiny feet, big rosy cheeks, pointy nose, big eyes and baby pink lips looked so cute on her.
"She came just a month ago! She was left infront of the orphanage!" Sumi aunty said.
My eyes welled up seeing the innocent eyes of her. How can be people so cruel to leave such angels away?
Wiping my tears away I kissed the angel's forehead.
"What's her name?" I asked to Sumi aunty playing with the baby's fingers.
"We haven't given one yet! We called her baby till now! If you want you can give her a name Mia!" Sumi aunty said.
Smiling I nodded. Looking down at her I started to think of a name.
"Aahira?" I whispered out.
Her tiny hand clutched onto my finger making me smile wide.
"You liked the name! Didn't you baby?" I said making her giggle.
"Aahira, sumi aunty! Her name will be Aahira!" I said.
"That's a beautiful name beta!" Sumi aunty said patting the baby's head softly.
I took her tiny hand in mine and placed a kiss on it.
"Baby Aahira!" I whispered.
I played with Aahira and the other babies a little. After a whilst, I helped Sumi aunty in cooking the lunch and we all ate together. I talked some more time in the afternoon and then went to the animal shelter.
Animals are awesome. They are kind, affectionate, adorable, and somehow harbour the ability to show unconditional love. Now it goes without saying that you normally shouldn't be interacting with wild animals, but when it comes to domesticated and stray animals, visiting a nearby animal shelter makes for a great idea - especially if you identify as being an animal lover.

Animal Matter To Me NGO
Plot No.13,14,15, Chikuwadi Lane, Lane, Malad - Marve Rd, opp. Jari Mari Temple, Marve, Mumbai, Maharashtra 400095
In their own words, Animals Matter To Me has one simple mission, 'to help those streets dogs and cats who have no one else to care for them'. Established in 2010, they offer a gamut of services that help take care of the stray animals in Mumbai. Apart from helping you adopt a cat or a dog, they also provide sterilization services, medical services (they treat animals from 11:30 AM to 5:30 PM) that are free of cost, and they have an animal ambulance as well, which they use to transport critically injured animals. Till now, they have helped rescue more than 500 animals, out of which almost 400 have been adopted.
Parking my car I got out and went inside to be surrounded by the cute noises from the cute little dogs and cats. I was welcomed by some volunteers and the manager. I volunteered for sometime like I played with them with their toys, filled in their water and food bowls, scratched behind their ears to make them feel less lonely, patted them and cooed them. They were so damn cute that I almost adopted each of them & then I remembered how my dad can be protective so with a heavy heart, I said them my goodbye and promised to visit soon. Before leaving I donated some money for their care too.

Pulling outside my home I dragged my tired self inside. The day was hella tiring but I enjoyed it too. It's not like I am complaining. I enjoyed my time today with the little sweethearts.
I went inside my room and pushed the door open. Throwing my bag on the bed, I sat down and took off my shoes. Then I took off my earrings and jacket. Getting up I walked inside my closet and took out some comfy wear. Then I made my way towards the washroom and closed the door behind me once I was inside. Putting my fresh comfy clothes away, I stripped off my clothes and wore a bathrobe. I wiped off my make-up and all I wanted right now was a relaxing bath.
To me, there is nothing better than stepping into a hot, relaxing bath. I literally do this at least twice a week!
I lit up some fragrant candles from Jo Malone. It was the Pomegranate Noir Deluxe Candle (Check it out and order because this is the best scented candle you'd ever use. Link- https://www.instagram.com/p/CJlTeCfrJMl/?igshid=1u9gfd0mw6k4n). Then I turned the light off of the bathroom. Bath time is all about setting a scene and overhead lighting is just not part of a relaxing experience in my opinion. I like to light a few scented candles so that I have a nice, warm glow of light. Then turn off the actual bathroom lighting. It’s all about creating a spa-like experience!
Now that I’m working out again, it feels like my muscles are just constantly sore. Epsom salts and bath salts work wonders to help with sore muscles! When it comes to bath salts, I really only use one kind, the Immunity salts from Hillockburn Farm. These salts are made of a blend of Pacific and Alaea Hawaiian sea salt that helps to rejuvenate your body. The addition of lemon, eucalyptus, and tea tree essential oils makes these bath salts perfect for helping to give your immune system a quick boost, too! So I added some of the bath salt in the tub. I just love how bath bombs help to provide stress relief in one tiny little package. So I grabbed a Lush bath bomb too.
Then I dropped some Susanne Kaufmann Oil Bath For The Senses into the tub full of lukewarm water. I absolutely love the way it smells and it makes my skin soft too. Getting out of the bathrobe I slipped in the tub filled of lukewarm water and relaxing fragrances. While soaking in my relaxing bath, I still like to multitask. I figure that the steam from the bath water will help open up my pores, so this is the perfect time to do a mask! And I used Bloomtown's charcoal mask with tea tree for oily acne prone complexions. I leaned down and put my head on the edge and closed my eyes taking in the relaxing environment into my tired body.
10:30PM IST
The loud knocks startled me and my eyes opened with a jerk.
"MIAA!" A familiar voice screamed from outside.
Sahil bhaiya?! What's he doing here? I saw myself still inside the bathtub! Shit looks like I slept in here.
"MIAA ARE YOU OKAY?!" Sahil bhaiya yelled again making me jump.
"Y-yeah bhaiya! Give me a minute!" I said.
"Thank god! I am waiting outside in the living room! Come soon!" He said.
"Okay!" I said and heard his footsteps.
Getting out of the tub, I wrapped a towel around my body. After wiping my wet body off, I wore my innerwear and then the comfy outfit I brought in.
After that i rushed outside and picked my phone from the bed only to get my eyes widened. The time was 11PM and There were more than 100+ missed calls from different persons. How didn't I hear a ring for god sake? I cursed when I saw the silent mode on. Must have done it mistakenly. I saw 65 missed calls from Yuvraj, 11 from mum, 20 from dad, 6 missed calls from Sam and 4 from Sahil bhaiya. Shit I am in deep trouble. Gulping the fear down I wore my slippers and padded down the stairs only to see a hard glare and scowl in Sahil bhaiya's face.
I smiled nervously fidgeting with my fingers making him shake his head. He strolled towards me and took me in his embrace.
"Do you know how much worried we all were?!" He said patting my head.
Then he pulled back.
"I am sorry Bhaiya I really didn't realise when I fell asleep and my phone! I don't know but mistakenly i must have put the silent mode on! That's why I didn't hear any of the rings and I was pretty tired also!" I said.
He shook his head.
"Explain in to Yuvraj! He is pissed as hell! He thought something happened to you! Here!" He said handing me the phone.
I saw he already have dialled Yuvraj. I pleaded Sahil bhaiya with my puppy eyes but all he did was shrugged it off. I saw as Yuvraj picked up the call.
"Hello Yuvraj!" I said in a low voice.
"Where were you love? You almost gave me a heart attack! Were you trying to kill me? Because if you were, then you would've succeeded in a next minute or two!" He said rather softly.
I gasped at his words. My eyes blurred with tears on his death mention.
"N-no! Y-yuvi! I wasn't! I fell asleep in my washroom inside the bathtub probably because of the tiredness! I am so sorry for concerning you all! I am so sorry!" My voice cracked a little at last. Sahil bhaiya gave me a little squeeze on my shoulder and pecked my forehead.
"Hey hey baby! Don't cry! Yes I was worried! Damn I was terrified baby! But it's not your fault, it's my job to protect you love! I was worried that something had happened to you and I am not there to protect you! It's not your fault love I promise! Don't cry please!" Yuvraj said softly.
Till now my tears were running down my cheeks.
"I am not crying Yuvi!" I said but my voice wavered a little making him sigh. I saw Sahil bhaiya giving me a look saying Really! You aren't crying! Then what's this?!.
"I promise baby I am not mad at you! I love you so much and it made me worried when you didn't pick up my calls! You are not at fault baby you were tired and it's natural to feel tired for a human who works and helps others and I am proud of you for that! Do you hear me?" Yuvraj said.
"Y-yeah! Congratulations Yuvraj! I am sorry I couldn't wish you sooner!" I apologised as I remembered.
"Thank you Meri Jaan! Have you ate something?" He asked.
Shit!
I bit my tongue making Sahil bhaiya narrow his eyes at me. I pleaded him through my eyes and he shook his head.
"Yeah I have! What about you? And how is everyone at home?" I lied.
"I also ate love! Everyone is doing fine! They misses you a lot just like I do! I will visit you soon as the elections are now over okay?" Yuvraj said.
"Mhm okay!" I said.
"Now don't stay awake for long and sleep okay! Call me if you need me!" Yuvraj said.
"Hm okay good night Yuvi! I love you!" I said.
"I fucking love you too baby! Good night and sweet dreams!" He said.
Smiling I gave the phone back to Sahil bhaiya.
"Happy?" Sahil Bhaiya asked to Yuvi.
"Come on Man! It's my duty! You're my best friend and Mia is my little sister so of course I will do everything for you guys! Now I have to go back home so bye man! And don't worry about Mia! I, her bodyguards covering the house and my men has her safe inside the house and you know my home is not much away so I will be here whenever she needs me. You, calm down and take some rest! It's must been a long day for you!" Sahil said.
My heart felt warm hearing Sahil bhaiya. I am really lucky in case of getting love from everyone especially from the males I know.
"Good night man!" Sahil Bhaiya said and hung up.
Crossing his arms in front of his chest he gave a sour look making me shuffle from one foot to the the other.
"God! What do I do with you? You haven't ate anything yet! Wait! From What time were you inside the bathtub?" He asked.
Shit! I am so gone now! I'm so gone! Yuvraj se toh bach gayi ab Kya karu?!
"Uh-oh! I-i! From 8PM I guess!" I said stuttering.
I saw as Sahil bhaiya's eyes widened.
"What the-! Are you the fuck serious? Mia you were in the bathtub from freaking three hours that too unconscious! God Mia! Anything could have happened! You could've drowned yourself for god sake Mia!" He said frustratingly throwing his hands in the air.
I knew he was right. I shouldn't be this careless! And hell will break if Yuvraj got to know this somehow! No way I am going to confront him in any way!
"I know Bhaiya! I am sorry! This was a mistake and it won't happen again I promise!" I said.
"Good! It shouldn't! Now let's go and feed you something! You must be hungry!" He said taking out keys from his trousers.
He was right! I am hungry! I even ate the dosas made by Sumi aunty in the animal shelter but still I didn't have anything for dinner.
"Uh no! I mean you don't have to! I will probably just order something like pizza and this is also too late to go out! And I am not that hungry though!" I said.
"Fine! Let's order something for you then!" He said and took out his phone.
"W-what! No you don't have to! I will do that bhaiya!" I said.
"I am not listening to you Mia! The food will arrive in 10 minutes! You better eat your food and then go to bed or I will tell everything to Yuvraj!" He threatened.
"No no I will eat my food and will go to bed just after that! But please don't tell anything about today to Yuvraj! He will be pissed at me!" I said.
"He deffo will! Because he loves you!" He said.
"I know! But his anger can be scary sometimes!" I said.
Sahil bhaiya chuckled.
"That's so true! I second that! So I will take my leave now! Call me whenever you want okay! Do not hesitate! I am not much far from your mansion!" He said.
"Sure Bhaiya!" I said and walked him out to the door.
After closing the door behind him I came and sat down in the living room couch waiting for the food to arrive. After exact ten minutes the doorbell rang and a bodyguard came in with a paper bag in his hand.
"Ma'am a delivery boy left this for you! The order was from Mr. Sahil Abbas! Do you need anything else?" He asked politely.
"Um no! Thank you!" I said and took the bag from him.
Nodding he left. Sighing I peeked inside the bag to see a medium sized pizza box, a plastic see-through container having pasta and a brownie packet.
God! How am I going to finish all this now!
Sulking I started to eat the food. After I was done, I put the bags and empty packets in the dustbin and made my way towards my room. Closing the room door behind me I plopped on the bed and chugged some water down my throat before laying down on the bed. After some minutes I drifted off to sleep.
Next Week, Saturday

South Mumbai
It's been a week since Yuvraj won in the elections and the days had been more hectic for him. But not matter how busy he was he always called me twice in a day to check up on me. And currently I was getting ready to catch my flight to London. Yes today is the day. I have already packed my luggage as I will be leaving for a week. I was wearing a pair of pastel pink trousers and a white crop top.
Making my way towards the living room with my luggage i put the luggage down and my guards took it outside to put it in the car.
"All ready sweetie?" Dad asked emerging out of nowhere.
"Yes dad! Good morning and yeah I am ready! Where is mum?" I said giving him a smile as I hugged him.
"I am here!" Mum said and came out of her puja room.
"There is your mum! Always busy with the Gods and here she has almost forgot her pati parmeshwar!" Dad said with a pout making me laugh and mum glare at him.
"Ha. Ha. Very funny! Mia! Here are your emergency medicines! It has some tablets for fever, stomach ache, headache and etcetera! And call me if you need something else okay! An-!" Mum was cut off by dad.
"Don't act like this sweetheart! Mia is not going out for the first time and she has been living in London for more than 4 years so she will be able to take care of herself! Won't you baby?" Dad said.
"Yes ofcourse dad! Dad is right mum! You need to calm down! I am just going to London for a week and I will be back soon before you know it!" I said
I ate the breakfast mum had made for me and finally left for the airport. After sometime I was boarded in the flight.

Kensington Gardens
London W2 2UH, United Kingdom
Currently I was jogging in the Kensington gardens with my friends Stefan and Tobias (if you remember from the bachelorette party flashback).
"Man! I-its so t-tiring!" Tobias said huffing whilst dropping his hands on his knees.
I took off my headphones and glanced at Stefan who was shaking his head. You see Tobias has always been the lazy boy between the Miller brothers. He always used to sulk in his early morning uni lectures. I guess he hasn't changed yet.
"Um so no progress Stef?" I asked Stefan.
"Not at all!" He said shaking his head in annoyance.
"What are you two talking about?" Tobias asked in confusion.
"About your lazy arse fucker!" Stef hissed at Tobias.
"Hey I am not lazy okay! It's just I don't like getting up in the mornings that too in this freaking cold weather of London!" Tobias complained with a pout.
"God you are such a child Toby!" I said.
"But you love this child baby! Don't you?" Tobias said making kissing faces and leaning towards me.
"Ew gross! No! I am engaged moron!" I said and pushed him back.
"You wound me sweetheart!" Tobias said putting his hand on his heart making me roll my eyes.
"God! You're so annoying! How do you tolerate him all day!" I asked Stef in a worried tone.
"I have to! I don't have another choice!" Stef said sighing.
"You two realise that I am here in front of you right?!" Tobias said frowning.
"Whatever!" Stef and I muttered in unison and resumed our run.
"HEY! WAIT FOR ME GUYSS!" Tobias yelled behind us.
After sometime we went back to our homes and got ready as we were going to grab our breakfast out together. I wore my turtle neck crop top & leather skirt. Then I wore a black coat over it and a pair of earrings. Wearing my knee high boots I waited for Stef and Toby.
09:56AM GMT
Granger & Co. King's Cross
Unit 1, The Stanley building, 7 Pancras Square, Kings Cross, London N1C 4AG, United Kingdom
Currently we were having our breakfast in Granger & co. Tobias and Stef picked me up from my home and we came here together. I was having a plate of scramble eggs and sourdough toast with freshly squeezed orange juice. Tobias was having granola and coffee and Stef had ricotta hotcakes with an espresso.
"So Mia! How's life back in India?" Stef asked sipping from his espresso.
Putting my fork down I wiped my mouth with a tissue paper before looking up at him again.
"Well it's enthusiastic! Really! I am happy! I have missed living with mum and dad. And getting engaged to the most amazing guy is just too perfect! Of course I miss my life in London, but I am happy!" I said.
Stef smiled and nodded.
"I thought I had a chance with you, you know!" He said smirking.
I knew he was teasing me because he has already his eyes on a girl and the news he shared with me yesterday. I laughed.
"You sure did! But what about you Toby? Aren't you going to settle down like ever?" I asked.
"Nah! I like my lifestyle like this!" He said shrugging.
"Like what? Being the playboy?" I teased him.
Tobias is the biggest player you'd ever meet. If he had a blonde in morning then probably he will have a brunette in the end of the day. He changed girls like his moods which shuffled a lot.
"Yeah!" Toby said smirking.
I shook my head and continued having my breakfast. Man was I famished.
"Mia!" A familiar voice spoke behind me making me choke on my food.
It's Yuvraj's voice! Did I heard right or was it just a infatuation?
"You okay?" Yuvraj's voice again said and this time it was close. Or should I say just above my ear.
I looked beside me and my eyes widened. By me stood Yuvraj, looking down at me with concern. I coughed violently making Yuvraj curse. He patted my shoulder and handed me the orange juice which was in front of me. I sipped a little juice and instantly calmed down but still there was a hoarseness in my throat making me clear my throat.
Wiping my mouth I got up and hugged Yuvraj who instantly wrapped his arms around me.
"I am sorry for scaring you baby!" He whispered.
"It's fine Yuvraj! I am just shocked! How are you here?" I asked pulling back.
"Well I had some work here and wanted to meet you too! That's why!" He said.
"Oh!" I said.
My eyes went to Stefan and Tobias who were giving us confused looks.
"Oh shit I forgot!" I said as I realised I haven't introduced them yet.
"Mia! Language!" Yuvraj said.
Giving him an apologetic look, I turned to Stef and Toby again who were now glaring at Yuvraj.
"Who the fuck are you to teach her what she can say and what she can't!" Stef asked sternly making my eyes wide.
"I am her fiance! And who are you?" Yuvraj asked as his hold on me tightened.
I saw as Stefan's and Tobias' eyes widened.
"Guys guys calm down! Yuvraj they are my friends Stefan and Tobias Miller and they are siblings! And guys he is my fiance, Yuvraj Singhania!" I said.
Stefan and Tobias got up and came around the table.
"Hey Man! I am Tobias! Mia's bestfriend and sorry for my elder brother, he is kinda feeling like a crap today because he didn't get a good sleep yesterday night! Do you know why because he was bang-!" Tobias was cut off by Stefan who smacked behind Tobias' head making me snicker.
Yuvraj raised his eyebrow but still shook his hand with Tobias.
"Hi it's Stefan Miller!" Stefan said in his professional tone making me roll my eyes.
"Yuvraj Singhania!" Yuvraj said with a same tone and shook Stefan's hand.
"Please sit down guys! I am famished!" Tobias said and sat down in his seat.
We all sat down too. Yuvraj sat beside me and Stefan and Tobias in front us.
"How did you know that I was here?" I asked Yuvraj.
"From your IG story!" Yuvraj said and pecked my knuckles taking my hand in his.
I smiled and nodded. He kept his hand intertwined with mine and left it on his thigh.
"What do you wanna eat?" I asked.
"No I've already had my breakfast! I'll order a coffee!" Yuvraj said.
I nodded. He ordered a coffee.
"So when did you come and why didn't you tell me earlier?" I asked.
"Yesterday at night! And I wanted to surprise you, that's why!" Yuvraj said.
"So where are you staying? And for how many days you are here?" I asked.
"In Shard! And my work will be done till Friday!" He said and I nodded.
"Come and stay with me!" I said.
"Are you sure!" He asked.
"Yeah I'm sure!" I said and he said an okay.
We talked a little and Stefan and Tobias talked with Yuvraj like they were friends from childhood making me surprise comparing to their first reaction and words to eachother. Yuvraj was jealous which was clearly shown as he was clenching his jaw and fists whenever Tobias tried to touch or come close to me just to tease him because Tobias was surely enjoying the scene and getting under Yuvraj's nerves. Yuvraj almost broke Tobias' fingers when Tobias moved his fingers on my hairs.
11:34AM IST
After a small shopping session me and Yuvraj went to Shard and picked his luggages from the hotel room and went back to my home. I pushed the card inside the security check and pushed the door open.
"Come in!" I said putting the card back at it's place on the wall.
"It seems cosy!" Yuvraj said taking out his coat. I too took out my coat and placed hung it aside. I took Yuvraj's coat and hung it beside me.
"Thank you! This is where I and Sam stayed for almost five years! It was our little abode where we had homely peace!" I said taking off my shoes and wearing my slippers.
Yuvraj smiled and hugged me from behind, snuggling his nose in the crook of my neck.
"I have missed you so much baby!" He whispered.
"But it's hardly been three weeks! And you've already missed me this much?" I teased him making him chuckle.
He turned me around with a swift and wrapped his arm around my waist as he tucked me more towards his chest. I placed my hands on his chest as he stared down at me and I stared up at him.
"I misses you even when you're away from my eyes for a single second!" He confessed making me smile.
"Chessy much! Are we?" I said with a smirk.
"Where is the bedroom!" He asked out of nowhere making me frown.
"Upstairs first room to the left why?" I asked in confusion.
Smirking he squatted down and picked me up in bridal style making me yelp as I wrapped my arms around his neck in a reflex.
"What are you doing?" I squealed out.
He ignored me and took me upstairs. Opening the door to my room he threw me on the bed making me squeal as my back touched the bed. I didn't have a little time to feel what was happening as Yuvraj hovered over me and started to tickle me making me squeal and laugh out loud.
He tickled me till I was breathless and panting. At last he had some sympathy for me and stopped his torture making me take deep breaths. We cooked lunch together and ate our food after that we both cuddled and slept.
