There's nothing quite like the stress of preparing to propose. From doing your secret research and figuring out her dream ring then shopping around, to planning the moment that she's been dreaming of her entire life, the anxiety surrounding the "big question" is no joke. But after meticulously planning every detail, finally discovering a diamond you know she'll love and asking for her hand in marriage from her father, you got down on your knee and did it.

And now, you feel like the luckiest guy in the world because the woman you always wanted to be with has agreed to hang around with you for the rest of her life. You might feel a sense of relief - and, well, you should - but we have both good news and bad news for you. Good: You're engaged! Bad: The turbulence and uneasiness you were feeling before is about to get magnified because right after the engagement is when all of the wedding chaos begins. Most couples say this time in their relationship is one of the happiest, but also one of the hardest because it's the first time you're truly making joint decisions and working together for a day that means a lot to both of you.

And that's how I am feeling right now with Mia, the girl of my dreams in my arms after just she said yes to my proposal. When she said yes for a moment my eyes blurred with tears and being the man I am I just blinked it away before anyone can see. We toasted as she said yes and currently we are dancing on a slow romantic song with her hands and head on my chest and mine on her hips.

She was wearing red for the party and curse me if I am not turned on by her long milky legs and petite body. Being a pervert for her I just kept on checking her out shamelessly. And My innocent girl is too oblivious of it.

Coming home by Leon Bridges was playing in the background which quite matched with my thoughts for Mia. And I swayed her with the music as I sang the song looking down at her.

She looked up at me and gave me her billion dollars smile making this moment more bright and beautiful. Leaning down I pecked her on the lips as we continued our dance.

Love is a great thing who not love anyone they will never understand what love is. But who loves someone deeply they know about all love things. You know every person are fallen in love with someone in their entire life. And because of my Mia I get to experience this beautiful feeling which I can never had for anyone else than her. Loving someone and having them love you back is the most precious thing in the world. And must admit that I am a lucky bastard to be one of them.

As the song ended I squatted down making her frown and then squeal as I picked her up by wrapping my arms just above her knees.

Her head was just above mine as she gripped my shoulder tightly. Everyone around us were hooting, cheering and whistling but right now my all attention was only on her. She smiled down at me caressing my stubble with her soft fingers.

Twirling her around I made her giggle as she felt the air hit her face and her opened hairs flew along with her direction. Her giggles filled my ears like a music making my heart flutter in happiness. Grinning I stopped as she leaned her head on mine. Our eyes were so close to each other as we stared. She felt like a feather in my arms. Wrapping her arms around my neck she hugged me as I slowly put her down and hugged her back.

"You're the most beautiful thing ever happened to me! Thank God I found you, you have always been in my dreams all through my life and I fell in love with you the very first day that I set my eyes on you, I would forever cherish you. Loving you makes me a fulfilled man, loving you gives me joy and happiness, and loving you is what I love to do, you are my best world. My love for you would always shine forever, I must let you know that you are the most gorgeous woman I have ever seen, and thank God you are mine." I said making her smile.

"I love you Yuvraj! When you told me you love me, I know that my life would never be the same again; I know that I would be in love with you forever." She confessed making my smile even more wide than possible.

I couldn't control but crash my lips on hers again. She is like a drug I'd never want to get rid of. She is like a sunshine that's needed in my life. She is like the oxygen I need for leaving. She is like the cloud that gives me the shadow of love. She is like the moon that brightens my dark nights. She is like the rose that makes me smile.

"Ladies and Gentlemen! Attention please!" DJ roared after the song ended.

"With the happy new year I congratulate the newlyweds along with the couple who just got engaged! Please put your hands together for Mia and Yuvraj!" Everyone clapped.

I looked down at Mia with a smile who was smiling happily. Our friends and family congratulated us and blessed us along with Sid and Shree for our happy future.

"Welcome to the family Mia! I can't wait to welcome you officially after your marriage with Raj!" Mum said cupping Mia's cheeks.

Mia smiled and hugged her. Dad, Bhabhi and Bhaiya too welcomed her. Her parents hugged her being a little emotional for their daughter. And the party went on.

Varun and I came back to our room after the party was over. I snapped my neck from right to left.

Man! I'm tired!

In the afternoon we will be leaving the place and will go back to our home back. Sid and Shree will be going straight to their honeymoon to Sunnmore Alps & Lofoten, Western Norway. Located 800 miles from Oslo and 95 miles north of the Arctic Circle, the Lofoten archipelago is known for its remote, rugged beauty. Painters and authors have long drawn inspiration from the islands, which make appearances in many Norwegian paintings and the work of Jules Verne.

Stretching my arms, I made my way inside the wardrobe and took out my sweats. Walking inside the washroom I got rid of my jacket and then my shirt. Unbuckling the belt, I took off my jeans. I took a shower and came out in a towel around my waist. Slipping into my sweats, I finally slept just as my body touched the soft mattress of the bed.

Next Morning, 10:08AM IST

Walking down the stairs with my phone pressed to my ear I made my way towards the living room. I was wearing a grey Giorgio Armani suit with a white tie and brown Armani shoes.

"Yeah! I want all the reports ready! I will check them soon after I come to the office! You better do your job first!" I said to my assistant Karan.

After talking to him I hung up and called my pilot to check if he has get the jet ready or not. After my conversation with him, I headed outside to check if the cars are ready. I saw the guards were putting our luggages into the Cars.

"Hey Raj!" I heard Veer's voice and turned to see him making his way towards me.

"Hey!" I muttered back.

"It'd have better if you guys stayed some time more you know!" He said standing beside me looking at the guards.

"I know but duty calls! We've took a long holiday already and the company needs me! So we gotta go back man!" I said.

"I know! I know! But you're going to come soon again to visit! Won't you?" He asked.

"Nah I don't think so! This time you need to visit us with your family!" I said shaking my head.

He chuckled and nodded.

"But I will miss youuu!" We heard a whining voice behind us and turned back to see Varun whining whilst tugging at Sid's sleeve who looked quite pissed at Varun.

Sid, Shree, Mia, Sam basically everyone came along as it was time for Sid and Shree to leave for their honeymoon destination. Sid's eyes met with mine and he pleaded me to get rid of V with his eyes. I smirked and shrugged it off making him huff.

"I swear it V! Stop whining or I will punch you before I leave for our honeymoon!" Sid threatened V making him pout.

"But-!" V was cut off by Sahil who pulled him aside from Sid who breathed in relief. All the time the girls and the others were snickering at the sight infront of them.

My eyes met with Mia who blushed with a small smile making me smile back at her. She was wearing a orange romper with black edges with the front hairs of her tied behind leaving the rest just like the way they are. With a Stars necklace she had the necklace I gave her on Christmas on her neck. Colourful loop earrings and colourful bracelet with my ring on her hand. She had a black channel headband and black shoes on too.

She looked quite cute and beautiful & I always wonder how beautiful she looks in every kind of outfit. Rather it be the sarees & kurtas or shorts and jeans. She never fails to amaze me let it be with her smartness or her beauty. She truly is a beauty with brain and I am prod to call her my fiance and soon to be wife.

I was interrupted in my thoughts when Sid called me. I gave him a hug and said him all the best. I reassured him that I will help V to take care of their company. After bidding everyone thier byes they sat inside the car and drove off to the airport where Sid's jet was waiting for them.

We all went back inside the palace and checked our packings again if we have left something. Then we did our lunch as it was a order from Rani ma that we couldn't leave without having lunch.

02:45PM IST

Currently we were in the cars in our way to the airport. Prem uncle has already left to Mumbai in his jet as he had some important work to do. Varun, Duggu bhaiya, Bhabhi, Hina, Alia, Shanaya and I are going in my jet staright to Delhi and the rest including Mia to Mumbai. Finally our cars stopped in the side of the runway as we got down and bid our byes. I went to Mia and embraced her in my arms.

I know these months will be too torturing for both of us for being away and I can't even come to Mumbai more often to meet her as the elections are near and I need to work on them. I will be damn busy with the election works and the office works and not to forget our Melbourne project. She too will be busy with her hospital works.

I tightened my arms around her thinking that she will be away from me for some months.

"The next time I will come to Mumbai I will come with Band Baja and Baraat!" I whispered making her giggle.

She slowly pulled back with a crimson colour coating her cheeks making me chuckle.

"Aren't you the cutest little thing!" I said smirking.

Her smile faded and she narrowed her eyes at me.

"Did you just call me small?!" She asked.

Oops!

"I did!" I teased her.

"Hey! I am not small okay! I'm 5'7"!" She said.

"Sure you are baby!" I said.

Leaning down I crashed my lip on hers tasting her strawberry lip gloss. I kissed her hungrily before pulling back with her breathing heavily. I pulled her left hand which has my named ring and pecked her knuckles. The emerald and diamonds looked so beautiful on her milky white hand.

"I will miss you baby! Promise me that you will take care of yourself for me! I will be back before you feel it! You will eat in time and sleep in time. No skipping in food and sleep! Do you understand!" I said seriously cupping her cheek.

She nodded and gave me a reassuring smile.

"I promise Yuvi! And this goes for you too! You also cannot skip food or sleep for your work! You're going to give yourself enough time for rest!" She said cutely making me smile.

"Sure soon to be Mrs. Yuvraj Singhania!" I said cheekily making her smile.

Someone cleared their throat falsely making me roll my eyes. I turned my eyes and saw V grinning at us cheekily. I rolled my eyes and turned back to my girl who was looking at us amusingly. Sighing I attached my lips on her forehead and lingered my lips there for sometime feeling my girl's presence. I pulled back and looked down. She smiled and kissed my cheeks.

"I will miss you so much!" She said hugging my torso.

I wrapped my arms around her tightly and leaned my head on hers.

"Me too sweetheart! Me too!" I whispered.

I pulled back and kissed her again before leading her towards their jet. Sam gave me a smirk as she was standing on the stairs of the jet. I rolled my eyes and held Mia's hand as she climbed on the stairs.

"I thought you would take some more time!" Sam said cheekily making me groan.

"God! Will you ever leave the opportunity to tease me for god sake?" I asked groaning.

"No can do brother! This is my right as well as my responsibility!" Sam said.

I shook my head and gave her a hug before leading them inside the jet. Saying a last bye to Mia I reluctantly left the jet and went to mine.

Finally! We just landed in New Delhi and we got into our cars dodging from the paparazzi and drove off to our mansion.

We got down from our cars and made our way inside our home. Home! Feels good to hear and it will become more beautiful when I will bring my girl beside me as my wife.

"Ah finally!" Duggu bhaiya said as he plopped down on the living room's couch with Alia.

"Mum! I have some work so I will be late today for dinner! So you don't wait for me today okay!" I said to Mum.

Mum frowned.

"But baby we just came! Take some rest before going back to work!" She said.

I shook my head.

"Can't Mum! It's really important! Bye guys! Bye Angel!" I said and pecked Alia's cheeks before making my way outside towards my car with V. My bodyguards followed me in their cars and soon I was outside on the road speeding up towards Adil Khan's office.

Clenching my jaws and fist, I came out of my car and slammed the door with a thud. My bodyguards followed me as I burst into The Khan's office. The guards didn't dare to stop me. Ignoring the calls from the receptionist of the office I made my way straight to Adil's office and pushed it open.

The sight infront of me disgusted me. Adil was on his chair with a girl on his lap as he kept pushing his tongue in her throat. Hearing the door burst he stopped and looked in my way. When he saw me he pushed the girl harshly off his lap and she fell on the floor with a thud with a surprised look.

"Get Out!" Adil said looking at the girl.

"W-w-what!" The girl stuttered as she stood on on her feet.

"I SAID FUCKING GET OUT!" He roared making her flinch.

"Shut up Adil! Don't you dare to talk to a female like that in front of me! I won't let you!" I said with a threatening voice.

The girl looked scared but from her attire I surely can say that she wasn't much good. She stumbled out of the room.

"What a present surprise Singhania! What do I owe you a visit?" He asked smirking as if he doesn't know anything.

"YOU FUCKING BASTARD! HOW DARE YOU STALK ON MY GIRL!" I roared as I charged at him and pulled him up fisting his shirt collar in my hands.

"Ooh oh calm down Singhania! I just stalked her! Be thankful that I didn't kill her! And if you want to see her alive then just give up on the elections! Pull your name out from the nominations and I would do you a favour by not killing your girl! By the way she is beautiful!" He said smirking making me more angry than ever.

Pulling my hand back I punched him on his face making a crack sound came from his nose and he fell back. The door of his office burst open as his men pointed their guns at me making my bodyguards pointing their guns at the guards whilst shielding me.

"Calm down boys! Back up!" He said as he stood up with his hand on his bloody nose.

"Looks like I hit a nerve didn't I Singhania! Well! Trust me I will do the exact I said if you don't pull out your name from the elections! And you know me very well!" He said.

"I wouldn't let you! She is my girl! The love of my life and you know how Yuvraj Singhania takes care of his family and loved ones! I would like to see you try! And trust me if you even try to touch Mia's hair, I will cut all of your fingers and feed them to the eagles! That's my promise!" I said making him all red in anger.

Smirking I made my way out of his office and went straight to my car and drove off to my office. After sometime I was infront of my office. Getting out of my car I gave the keys to a guard to park my car in it's place. Buttoning my suit and wearing my Ray bans I made my way inside to the office. Everyone said a good evening and congratulations for my engagement with Mia to which I only nodded stiffly. Walking inside my private lift, I punched the button straight to my office and waited. The lift door dinged and it opened. I came out of the lift and made my way inside my cabin. Walking straight to my desk, I plopped down on my chair and took off the suit button. Massaging my temple I took out my phone from my suit pocket and pushed the power button on.

The picture instantly calmed the beast inside me. The lock on my phone unlocked with face recognition and I dialled Mia. I need to hear her voice right now! It rang for four times and then the call was picked up. I heard some shuffles and then a cute sleepy voice of my girl.

"Helllloooo!"

I chuckled at her groaning voice. Looks like I disturbed my princess' sleep.

"Hey baby! Sorry to disturb you! Did you land safely?" I asked softly with a lower tone not wanting to startle her.

"Yeweahhh! We did! What about youu?" She asked.

"We too baby! Just wanted to hear your voice! Sleep now baby! I will call you later! I love you!" I said.

"Hm! Lowve youu! Byyee!" She said.

Grinning I cut the call and sighed before pressing the intercom. Soon Karan appeared outside my cabin and knocked.

"Come in Karan!" I said.

He came inside pushing the door open.

"Hello sir! Good evening and congratulations for your engagement! Here! It's from all the staff sir!" He said as he placed a bouquet on my desk.

"Thank you Karan!" I said.

"So do you have the reports ready?" I asked.

"Yes sir! Here!" He said and put the files on my desk.

I opened and looked through a file.

"Hm okay I will check them! Please bring me a coffee!" I said.

"Sure sir! Anything else?" He asked.

I shook my head. He nodded and left the cabin. I continued my work. After sometime Karan came with a coffee and put it infront of me. After asking me if I needed anything and I said no he left the cabin and went to his. Sipping from my coffee, I continued my work.

07:20PM IST

My phone rang snapping my eyes off my laptop. I picked the phone up and saw it was Mia. Smiling I picked the call up.

"Hey Meri Jaan!" I said with a goofy smile.

"Hello Yuvraj! I am sorry I don't even remember what I talked with you when you called the last time! What are you doing now?" She asked.

I chuckled.

"It's fine baby! I liked your cute sleepy voice by the way. Well currently I am working in my office. What about you?" I asked typing in my laptop as I put the mobile on speaker.

"What! Office! Seriously Yuvi! Did you really have to go to the office today? You just went back for god sake!" She complained making me smile.

She cares for me! :)

"Sorry Baby! But I had to! There were some important works that needed my attention! So I just couldn't ignore them!" I said.

She sighed on the other side.

"But still Yuvraj! You should have took some rest before the office work! You will get sick like this! Ok tell me have you had something?" She asked.

I cursed myself internally.

"Actually I just had a coffe-!" She cut me off.

"What! Just a coffee! Are you serious now Yuvraj! You are so damn careless! God! What do I do with this man?!" She complained making me chuckle inwardly. I grinned feeling her wife mode on before the marriage.

"Don't you dare grin like that!" She said making me shocked.

"W-w-what! How did you know?" I asked stuttering.

"You know me better than myself and I know you better than yourself Mr. Now call your assistant!" She said.

"What? But why?" I asked in confusion.

"Stop asking me questions in reply! Will you?! Just do what I said! Call your assistant!" She ordered.

"As you say ma'am!" I said sarcastically and called Karan through the intercom.

He came after a minute.

"Yes sir?" He asked.

"One minute Karan! Yes, I called him Mia! Now what?" I asked.

"Okay! Give your phone to him!" She said.

"What?" I frowned.

"Yes Yuvraj! Give. Your. Phone. To. Your. Assistant." She said pressuring every word.

Sighing I handed the phone to him to which he frowned and looked at the phone confusingly.

"It's Mia! My fiance! She wants to talk to you!" I said huffing.

"To me?" He asked unsurely.

"YES TO YOU!" Her voice boomed from the phone making Karan startle and the phone almost slipped out of his hand.

I glared at him for his carelessness. He brought the phone to his ear gulping.

"Y-yes ma'am! G-good evening!" He said stuttering making me snicker.

After a minute or so he replied back.

"Sure ma'am! I will do that!....Okay!" He said and handed me the phone.

I raised my eyebrow at him in a questioning way.

"Sir! Ma'am wants to talk to you!" He said and ran out of the office before I could say something.

Shaking my head I pressed the phone back to my ear.

"Yes baby!" I asked.

"Wait for 10 minutes and don't hang up on me!" She said.

"I would never do that baby!" I said and waited.

After ten minutes there was a knock on the door. I said come in and Karan came in with a tray in his hand. He placed the tray infront of me on the desk.

"What is this!" I asked.

"That's your food Yuvraj! Now eat the whole tray and send me a picture of the empty tray! Or I'd personally come to Delhi to teach you a lesson for skipping meals!" She threatened making me gulp.

I signalled Karan to leave and he left.

"Okay Mia! I will! Now happy!" I said.

"Hm! Send me the picture fast! I will be waiting!" She said and hung up.

I just looked at the mobile phone like a dumb. Shaking my head I looked at the tray. It contained a bowl of salad & a cheese sandwich.

She sure knows me better! My boss lady!

Bringing the tray close I took a bite of the cheese sandwich as I read the rest reports. After the sandwich was over, I finished my bowl and took a gulp from my water. The food was delicious and I wouldn't hesitate to admit that I was hungry. Taking a picture of the empty tray, I send it to Mia and then called her.

She picked up after two rings.

"So happy now?" I asked.

"Yeah! Good boy! From now on you're not going skip any meals okay! You've promised me!" She said.

"Boy? I am more of a man Meri Jaan! Not a teenage boy! And yeah okay I am not going skip any meals from now! Thank you for taking care of me baby! I love you!" I said.

"That's my responsibility isn't it? And I love you!" She said.

After talking to her for a little more time, I went back home as my work was almost done and I was too tired to complete them all today.

9/32A, Singhania Mansion

Parking my car, I came out before locking my car and made my way inside the home. Skipping upstairs I opened the door to my room. Taking off my suit I tossed it away on the couch and craned my neck left to right. Taking my watch off my wrist, I rolled my sleeves up to my elbow and sat on the edge of the bed lifting my pants a little.

I took of my shoes and then the socks. Raking my fingers through my hair, I got up and made my way inside the washroom. I took a shower and came out in a towel around my lower body with damp hairs. My phone rang as I came out. Picking up the phone from the bedside table, I saw it was V. I answered the call.

"Hey! You here?" I asked.

"Yeah! I am in the living room! Is everyone asleep?" He asked.

"Yeah! They are! I am coming in two minutes!" I said and as he hummed I hung up.

Opening the door to my closet, I took out my sweats and slipped in. Wearing my slippers, I made my way downstairs. You see, everyone is already asleep as they were tired. And as Sid was not here in Mumbai so I asked V to come stay with us till Sid come back. And now there he is in the living room.

"Hey man!" He said as he saw me.

"Come on! Why are you here? Go to your room! You don't have to be so shy you know! This is your home too!" I said to V.

Yes they have stayed in our mansion so there were rooms for them too.

"Yeah! I know! Was just waiting for you! I will be back after a shower! I am damn tired!" He said.

"Hm! I will heat the dinner!" I said.

He nodded and left upstairs and I went to the kitchen. The maids are already gone as mum must have given them an early leave today. So I brought the food which was on the counter as usual and put it inside the oven to heat them up. I took out the pasta from the oven and served it in two plates. Grabbing a vodka bottle, I made my way towards the dining hall. I placed the plates and the vodka bottle as I waited for V.

Soon Varun came and we both sat down to eat the food. I poured two glasses of vodka for us as we ate the food.

"So how did it go today in the office you know without Sid and after a whilst and all!" I asked V.

"Tiring! How about yours?" He asked taking a bite from his pasta.

"Same as usual! And I forgot to mention you that I paid a visit to Adil in his office today!" I said.

He was taking a sip from his vodka and my words made him choke on his vodka. He coughed violently and I took the vodka glass from his hand and patted his back.

"Are you okay?" I asked.

"*Coughs* seriously dude! Are you planning on killing me! And what the hell man! Why did you go there?" He asked easing a little.

I shrugged.

"I needed to give him a piece of my mind. And it worked. No one messes with me!" I said seriously making him roll his eyes.

"Fine! But what happened exactly?" He asked.

I explained him everything from him kissing a girl to the angry look he threw at me before I left his office.

"Damn man! I missed it! I would have loved to see that look on his face! You clearly nailed it! But what about Mia? Will she be safe?" He asked worriedly.

"Yes! She will be! Sahil and his men will keep an eye on her and I've personally appointed informed the SP! And besides her bodyguards, her dad and Abhimanyu is also there! And I doubt Adil will do something now! You know a wrong step from him and he will be thrown out of the nominations for violence and rule breaking!" I said.

"Hm that's true!" He said.

"Have you talked to Sid?" I asked.

"Yeah! They have still too much time left to land and they are good!" V said.

We talked a little till we finished our dinner and went back to our rooms after bidding eachother goodnight. I slipped under the covers and looked at the ceiling remembering the beautiful moments I spend with Mia!

"There are still more to come!" I muttered and closed my eyes.

And soon I slipped into deep slumber.

After a week

A whole week has passed and there are so many things have happened. Sid and Shree are still not here as Sid has took two months honeymoon package. The election's first which is the publicity is already done.

New Delhi Lok Sabha constituency is one of the 7 Lok Sabha (parliamentary) constituencies in the Indian National Capital Territory of Delhi. It is the oldest constituency of Delhi that currently exists.The Members of Parliament, Lok Sabha are directly elected by the Indian public voting in Single-member districts.

I stood in the election from Dad's party of course which was Equality party whilst Adil stood from Union party and there were some 4 more candidates from other parties. We have done the door to door campaigns. And from the New Delhi's people's trust on dad I knew I was the one winning but we were still waiting for the results to come out.

Mia and I have been talking with each other in texts, calls and facetimes and it would be a damn lie if I said that j didn't miss her. I missed her in my arms. I missed her lips, smile and her bright eyes. There were no suspicious activities around her for which I was relieved.

After we came back from the wedding function, we got to know that Priyanka Bhabhi is pregnant. Chuffed would be a understatement. Duggu bhaiya was in cloud nine. So was mum and dad. Alia too was excited to meet her sister or brother. Sunil chachu and Mahira Chachi with Sam has visited once after the news. The Roys have congratulated us on the phone as they couldn't make it for some important works.

So today the votings are starting.

07:56AM IST

I just got a picture and text from Mia. She has gave me a picture of her with the bouquet I just sent for her to her home. In these days, I would send different bouquets, chocolates and more which she was fond of. But she didn't like me sending gifts to her every alternating day. And my answer to this was 'I want to spoil my queen & you certainly don't have a say in this!'

Wiping my sweats off my face, I made my way out of the gym room. I came to the living room to see some of the party's members in there with dad. Their eyes snapped to me when they heard my footsteps.

"Yuvraj beta! You've done really good in the elections and we all know that you're going to win! So congratulations in advance!" A member who looked about Dad's age said.

"Thank you uncle!" I said with a smile and went inside to the kitchen.

"Hey good morning mum! What are you making today?" I asked kissing her cheek.

"Aloo k parathey! Your Bhabhi loves aloo paratha. That's why!" She said flipping the paratha.

"Hm taking care of your daughter- in-law eh!" I said smirking.

"Yeah! Meri dusri bahu jaldi laade ghar toh main uski bhi special dhyaan rakhungi when she will get pregnant!" She said making me shocked for a moment.

I have always liked kids since I spent time with Alia when she was born and before that I was kinda annoyed with them. Mia being pregnant? I've always wanted to spend the rest of my life with her since I saw her. But truth to be told I've never thought her being pregnant. I've seen Bhabhi when she was pregnant and was about to give birth to Alia. I have seen her how much she screamed in pain. To think of Mia screaming like that in pain is really difficult for me. I don't want to feel her pain or her being upset like ever. Can I control myself when I see Mia screaming in pain during giving birth to our babies?! Can I be that strong to see her in pain?! Can my heart take that?!

"-vraj! Earth to Yuvraj!" Mum shook me breaking my trance of thoughts.

"Y-yes mum! Were you saying something?" I asked.

"No! But are you okay? You looked pale!" She asked.

"Yeah mum! Don't worry! I am fine! I should go to take a shower now!" I said.

She hummed and I left after gulping down some water. I climbed up the stairs and stopped in front of Duggu bhaiya and Bhabhi's room. A moment later Bhaiya opened the door.

"Yuvi! Come in!" He said.

I smiled and went in to saw Bhabhi arranging the closet.

"Bhabhi! Why are you doing that! You don't need to! Call a maid and she will do the works! You just sit and rest! And Bhai can't you say this to her!" I said taking the clothes off Bhabhi's hands.

Duggu bhaiya scoffed.

"Like I haven't tried!" He muttered.

I shook my head and led Bhabhi towards the bed and pushed her to sit down.

"Take rest okay! I will send up someone to those works! And how are you feeling today!" I asked kneeling down in front of my third mum.

Yes she is like a mum to me like like mum and Mahira Chachi.

"I am feeling fine Yuvraj! Just the morning sickness! Nothing else! Thank you for checking up on me everyday!" She said patting my cheek with a smile.

"Well that's my responsibility Bhabhi! So tell me what do you want me to bring today for you and my niece or nephew!" I asked her.

Yes I brought something she craved for when I returned to home from office. Bhaiya also brought her sometimes but I like to bring her something too! And I've been doing it since the day I got to know that she was pregnant.

"Mm let me think!" She said thinking hard.

"Yes! Bring me a bhuta. Will you?" She asked.

"No he won't! The street food is not good for your and the baby's health Priya! How many times do I need to remind you this?" Duggu bhaiya asked frustratingly.

"I am not asking for it okay! Your baby wants to eat!" Bhabhi said huffing.

"Well then my nephew/niece should understand that it's not good. Neither for them nor for his/her mother!" I said.

I was also against this idea of her eating street and roadside foods. They are not healthy. I have bought many packaged foods for her. Like pastries, cake, Snacks and etc. But she craves more for golgappa, chaat and etc.

"How about I will bring you a yogurt cake?" I asked.

"Fine! Fine!" She said with a pout.

"Fine then! I will take my leave now!" I said and went to my room.

I took a shower and got ready in my suit. Picking my mobile and tie up I went downstairs to the dining hall. Mum tied my tie. Then she served us breakfast. After we were done with our breakfast we all went to give our vote. Dad, V and me were in one car whilst Priyanka Bhabhi, Duggu bhaiya and mum were in the other with our bodyguards following us.

"Yuvraj! Are you ready for today?" Dad asked from the backseat.

Glancing at dad from the rearview camera, I returned my gaze to my driving.

"Yes dad! I am not nervous! I have you and the people who trust on us & I'll try my best to do everything I could do for them! That I promise to you!" I said with determination.

He gave me a small smile.

"Good! That's what I expected from you! You'll do good! I know that!" He said.

I nodded and went back to driving.

10:30AM IST

We finally reached at the voting booth of our area and I parked my car. Bodyguards shielded us as we made our way inside. The booth didn't have much voters as the area we stayed was quite the opposite of crowded. There are less people who were from the rich background like politicians, police officials and stars.

(I don't know much about the Indian election system so I will be sharing what I know from the articles I read! Let me know if I am wrong somewhere!)

We gave our votes and posed for the media then left for our home.

I just came to my office after I ate lunch from home after the voting was done. There were less people in my office today. Majority of them has took their leaves for the elections. As they had to leave for their places to contribute in the country's democracy. I've personally gave the people leaves by checking their voting dates and booths.

Karan was also not here so there was too much work pending. My phone rang breaking me from the thoughts. I brought the phone in front of my eyes to see it's none other than Sid. A smile spread on my lips as I saw my best friend calling me. I picked the call up.

"Hello! Hey Sid! How are you man?" I asked as soon as I picked up.

"Pfft! Looks like someone has missed me yeah!" He said smugly making me chuckle.

"Of course I've missed my favourite best friend! What do you think?" I asked smirking.

"Oh I know you arsehole! So how's the elections going?" He asked.

"Ah it's going good! Much better than expected I must say! And if you're wondering, no! Adil hasn't made any trouble yet! And I doubt if he will dare to!" I said.

"Oh! Is it because of the threat you gave him that day?" He asked.

"How'd you know? I don't remember sharing it with you!" I asked frowning.

"Well you see I've another best friend who is your best friend too and not to forget is a chatterbox!" He said making me laugh.

"So true! So V told you! Yes that could be the reason though! But I know it from the beginning of our rivalry that he didn't has the guts for it!" I said.

"I second that! How's everyone? Uncle, aunty, Bhaiya and how's Bhabhi?" Sid asked.

"Ah they are all fine! About Priyanka Bhabhi, she is been a little on the edge every time because of her pregnancy hormones I guess! And Duggu bhaiya is.....tired!" I said making him laugh this time.

"Oh how much I miss everyone!" He said in between his laughs.

"So what about you? How are you guys and where is Shree bhabhi?" I asked.

"We're fine! And Shree is in front of me busy in buying her accessories! She is happy!" He said.

"Well I am happy for you both! Enjoy and keep Shree Bhabhi happy! I will call you soon!" I said.

"Yeah okay! Bye man!" He said.

"You too! Bye!" I said and hung up.

Placing my phone back on the table, I went back to work.

06:50PM IST

Sitting inside my car, I buckled up and drove off towards my home with the guards cars following me. My phone rang making me stop. I parked the car aside and brought the phone from the passenger seat. I saw it was Mia.

There was a knock on my window. I looked up to see it was my bodyguard. I rolled the window down.

"Boss! Why did you stop? Is everything okay?" He asked.

"Yeah! I need to take the call! Wait for a second!" I said and picked the call up.

"Hello Mia!" I said.

"H-hey Yuvi! How did it go today?" She asked in a timid voice making me frown.

"Everything went well baby! What happened? Why do you sound upset?" I asked in worry.

"Uh no! It's nothing big Yuvi! Just a prank call which made me a little uncomfortable!" She said.

"Prank call? Who was that and what did it say?" I asked.

"No! The person didn't say anything! Instead he was singing a song! It felt like he was a drunkard though!" She said making me sigh in relief.

"Hm okay! Are you sure everything is okay? Do you want me to check up on the number sweetheart?" I asked softly.

"No No! That's fine Yuvraj! He was a Drunkard and he must have dialled a wrong number! Don't worry! I am fine!" She said.

"Okay baby If you say so! But you're going to let me know if this happens again! Won't you baby?" I asked.

"Okay I will Yuvi!" She said.

Talking to her on the speaker I started the car and drove off towards the mansion. She just hung up as her mum called her and I too parked my car in front of the mansion.

Taking out the cake box from the car I made my way inside. Dad was watching TV, to be exact the news in the living room. Muttering a good evening to him, I made my way upstairs towards Bhabhi and Bhaiya's room. I knocked on the door and the door opened to reveal Bhabhi. Bhaiya must be out.

"Hey Bhabhi! Here you go! This is your yogurt cake and this is also for you!" I said and gave her the bags.

"You brought me samosas! I can't believe this! Are you fine?" She asked.

I chuckled and nodded.

"Yes I am fine Bhabhi! And I couldn't let my nephew or niece craving for someone and I wouldn't get it for him or her." I said.

She nodded and looked at the bags excitedly. I chuckled and told her to eat them.

"But this is only for today okay! This is not healthy for you so it's only for today and I will be bringing healthy food items from tomorrow on!" I said.

She nodded. I left and went to my room. I took a shower and came downstairs to the living room where dad was watching TV with V and Duggu bhaiya. I plopped beside Bhaiya and saw the news. They were showing some reports from the voting booths in different areas. We talked and discussed about the elections and it's results too.

After sometime we went to eat dinner as mum called us. After sometime we went back to our respective rooms.

Next Day, 08:34AM IST

Currently we all were sitting inside the Main party office of Equality party as we watched the live voting counts. The exit polls were on our favour and so was the counts till now. We are currently leading. There were some members in the office along with me, dad and Duggu bhaiya.

"Congratulations Yuvraj! You're leading and I know you will be the winner! There's no way the people would've given much votes to Adil!" A member said to which I nodded stiffly.

My phone chimed making my eye snapped towards it. Opening my phone I saw there was a text from Mia. Opening it I saw her text.

Mia❤️- You've given your best my love! I know you will win! All the best! Remember that I am with you always & forever! I love you! :)😘

A smile crept on my face as I saw my baby's best wishes for me. Typing a text, I send it to her.

Yuvraj - I love you baby :) Thank you for standing by my side and that's the thing I need from you! You are my strength and thank you for raising my winning spirit😘

"The winner of the elections is as predicted. It's YUVRAJ SINGHANIA!" The news reporter said.

"Yuvraj Singhania has won the title of member of parliament from New Delhi with the highest 6,20,547 votes!" The reported declared.

The whole meeting room boomed with screams of joys as the younger ones in the party lifted me up on their shoulders cheering my name. Varun who came a little before the result was declared tossed the champagne.

The members put me down and I made my way towards dad thanking the members who congratulated me for my win. I touched dad's feet and he hugged me with a big smile.

"I knew it! Congratulations beta! I am so proud of you!" He said.

I embraced him back.

"Thank you dad! It all happened because of you!" I said.

I pulled back and hugged Bhaiya.

"Congratulations baby boy! I am proud of you! You deserve this!" Duggu bhaiya said patting my back.

"Thank you Bhai! Thank you for all your help!" I said pulling back.

We pulled back as dad patted my back. We cut cakes and gave interviews to the media. Sweets and gifts were distributed among the media and the party members. After this we went back to our home where mum, Bhabhi and Alia were waiting for us.

The door of our house revealing mum with an Aarti tray as I expected. Alia and Bhabhi were behind her. They all gave me smiles making me smile in return. Dad, V and Duggu bhaiya stood by my side. Mum came forward and put a Tilak in between my brows and did my Aarti. She sprinkled some petals on me and fed me sweet before welcoming me inside. She gave the tray to a maid and hugged me.

"Congratulations beta! You made me so proud today! I love you my baby!" She said kissing my forehead as I leaned down for her.

"Thank you mum! I love you too!" I said and pulled back kissing her on her cheeks.

"Congratulations Raj! We all are proud of you!" Bhabhi said giving me a hug.

"Thank you Bhabhi!" I said kissing her forehead.

I crouched down in front of Alia who took me into a hug making me wrap my arms around her.

"Congratulations chachu! I am so proud of you and I love you so so much!" Alia said in her cute voice and kissed my cheeks.

"Thank you my angel! Your chachu loves you too!" I said and gave her a kiss on her cheek.

There was a flood of congratulations messages on my phone. Sid, Shree, Sahil, Bhabhi, Sunil chachu, Mahira aunty, Sam, Abhimanyu, Armaan everyone has wished me except Mia making me a little worried. After our celebration and dinner I went back to my room. Sighing I called Mia but there was no response. I called again and again but still there were no response. Now I was scared as well as worried for her like hell. I called on the landline of her home but still there was no response. I called Avinash uncle to found that he was out of India, in NYC for some conference with Devina aunty as she also had an Annual medicine seminar to attend.

I was worried would be an understatement. I called Sam.

"Hello Sam! Do you know Where is Mia?" I asked hurriedly.

"Um no Bhaiya! I haven't meet her today! I met her yesterday in a cafe! But why? What happened?" She asked worriedly.

"I don't know Sam! She is not picking up her phone! I have called everyone who should have some idea about her but no there were no positive response! I even called her parents! But they are out of India! I called her landline number too! But she isn't picking up!" I said raking my fingers through my hairs.

"Oh shit! Where she must be then? I shall go and check up on her!" She said.

"No! You're not going anywhere! I will ask Sahil to take care of that! Don't worry I will call you soon if I get something about her! You call me if you get to know something okay!" I said.

"Ok okay Bhai! I will do it!" She said and I hung up.

Calling Sahil I paced here and there in the room.

"Hello! Yuvraj?" He said.

"Hey Sahil! I want you to check up on Mia right now! She's not picking up her phone neither her landline!" I said.

"She's not? But she is at home! I just got a call from my men that she safely reached home! She must be in the bathroom Raj!" He said making me relieved a little.

"Still Sahil! She's not picking up any of her calls! I am getting worried for god sake! Do something and let me know if she is alright!" I snapped in frustration.

"Alright alright! Calm down Raj! I am leaving for her home right now! Don't worry she is safe! My men are keeping an eye on her! If something have happened they would have called me! They hadn't so calm down! She will be fine!" He said as I heard his footsteps running.

"Fine! Please let me know soon!" I said as he hummed and I heard him opening his car door.

I hung up and sat on the edge of the bed thinking about Mia. Terrible thoughts spread through my mind making me shiver. I shrugged those thoughts off and waited patiently for Sahil's or hopefully Mia's call back.

Please keep my Mia safe god! Please don't let anything happen to her!

11:00PM IST

Finally my phone rang making me pick it up with a jerk and I pressed it on my ear. The next voice I heard made relief wash over my body. I closed my eyes.

Thank You God!

"Hello Yuvraj!" Mia said in a low voice.

"Where were you love? You almost gave me a heart attack! Were you trying to kill me? Because if you were, then you would've succeeded in a next minute or two!" I said softly.

I heard her gasp.

"N-no! Y-yuvi! I wasn't! I fell asleep in my washroom inside the bathtub probably because of the tiredness! I am so sorry for concerning you all! I am so sorry!" Her voice cracked a little at last making my heart clench.

"Hey hey baby! Don't cry! Yes I was worried! Damn I was terrified baby! But it's not your fault, it's my job to protect you love! I was worried that something had happened to you and I am not there to protect you! It's not your fault love I promise! Don't cry please!" I said softly.

"I am not crying Yuvi!" She said but her voice wavered a little making me sigh. I knew she was lying. She deffo was crying.

"I promise baby I am not mad at you! I love you so much and it made me worried when you didn't pick up my calls! You are not at fault baby you were tired and it's natural to feel tired for a human who works and helps others and I am proud of you for that! Do you hear me?" I said.

"Y-yeah! Congratulations Yuvraj! I am sorry I couldn't wish you sooner!" She apologised.

A smile spread on my lips hearing her cheerful voice when she congratulated me.

"Thank you Meri Jaan! Have you ate something?" I asked.

"Yeah I have! What about you? And how is everyone at home?" She asked.

"I also ate love! Everyone is doing fine! They misses you a lot just like I do! I will visit you soon as the elections are now over okay?" I said.

"Mhm okay!" She said.

"Now don't stay awake for long and sleep okay! Call me if you need me!" I said.

"Hm okay good night Yuvi! I love you!" She said.

"I fucking love you too baby! Good night and sweet dreams!" I said.

I heard her say here.

"Happy?" Sahil asked from the other side.

"Yeah! Thanks man for taking care of my girl! And sorry for disturbing you this late!" I said.

"Come on Man! It's my duty! You're my best friend and Mia is my little sister so of course I will do everything for you guys! Now I have to go back home so bye man! And don't worry about Mia! I, her bodyguards covering the house and my men has her safe inside the house and you know my home is not much away so I will be here whenever she needs me. You, calm down and take some rest! It's must been a long day for you!" Sahil said.

"Yeah! I will! Thank you again and good night my friend!" I said.

"Good night man!" He said and hung up.

Shaking my head I texted Sam and filled her in with the information then throwing the device in bed, I went to the washroom and took a long shower. Coming out in a towel, I wore my sweats and dropped myself on my soft mattress.

I don't know why but today I am missing Mia terribly. After what just happened I was about to get on my jet to Mumbai for her. I would do everything for her but I just need her by my side. I have realised now that how much I am dependent on her. Her smile lits up my world. She makes me happy even without doing something. She makes my heart flutter just by looking at me. And I don't know what I would have done if something would have happened to her today. I don't know. What are you doing to me baby? What are you doing?

Thinking of her I took out my phone and glanced at her picture on my screen lovingly.

"The beauty of my heart is for you, my warmest smile is for you! You're the Queen of my heart! Good night my better half! Sleep tight and dream sweet of me! I love you baby! You're Mine! Only mine!" I muttered and kissed her picture before slipping into the darkness.
