The Mehendi Ceremony
Umaid Bhawan Palace, Circuit House Rd, Cantt Area, Jodhpur, Rajasthan 342006

Currently I was smiling down at my hands adorned in Mehendi and not to forget Yuvraj's name was there on my palms too. Yuvraj went to attend a call after clicking thousands of picture of me, my henna and of Sam too. The way he was looking down at the name in my hand made me feel so loved by him.

Yesterday I told him about my past which I dreaded the most. He listened to every word of mine attentively and whenever I hesitated he used to tighten his hold on me and will encourage me by pecking my temples again and again. He often gave squeezes to my hand he was holding. His hold, cologne and sweet words helped me a lot during revealing my past to him. Whenever I broke into sobs he will calm me down by rubbing my back and will whisper soft words in my ear. Wiping my tears in between he told me how strong I was!

I am glad that I shared my past with him. I don't have a slight regret about it. After I was finished with talking all he did was comforted me and told me how much his respect increased for me and how he is lucky to have me in his life. But I think the opposite. The other way around. I think I am lucky to have him in my life. He has accepted me with the flaws I have. What more a girl needs in her life partner!

My train of thoughts stopped in a station when I felt someone nudging me. I looked to my side to see Sam wiggling her eyebrows at me. I frowned.

"What?" I asked in confusion.

"Done daydreaming about my brother! Actually and logically not daydreaming but nightdreaming! So? I know my brother is handsome! But duh it feels creepy seeing you smiling at nothing!" She said.

Nightdreaming?! Is there a word like that? I don't think so! It must be coming especially from Sam's Dictionary which I don't know from where she bought it!

I groaned and threw a ugly look at her.

"Why are you groaning and making faces like a ugly grey seal?" Armaan asked coming from nowhere as he plopped down beside Sam who was sitting next to me.

Armaan had a food plate in his hands.

"Grey seal is not ugly and that doesn't groan either you disgusting pig!" Sam and I snarled at him together making him flinch back.

He raised his one hand in surrendering manner.

"Whoa! Sorry girls! But I felt so loved here you know! And I love you too Meri jungli billi and chipkali!" He said grinning like an idiot.

Sam and i flicked him off making him gasp.

"What has gotten into you two today! Why are you being so rude!" He asked.

"Dude! We are hungry! We cannot eat because of the henna in our hands and you pig, are sitting in front of us with a plate full of yummy foods! Then what do you expect from us?" Sam asked sarcastically.

I nodded. It's true that we both were famished. Our mothers were busy pampering Shree because it's her day and her mum is not here. I don't have any problem with that, even I like it when mum treats Shree like her own daughter but that doesn't mean that they will forget us totally right? And when Sam and I confronted about it to them they shooed us away saying it is Shree's day as we gaped at them. Dad and Abhi dada is busy with the guests and helping Prem uncle. All we did was sulking on the corner.

The hunger punishment was not enough when a bunch of ladies surrounded us making us feel like a mouse 🐁surrounded by a group of eagles. They teased us like there was no tomorrow. According to them, the henna's shade will decide how much our husbands will love us. And they had an intuition that we will get dark shades and then we will get loved by our husbands to the moon and the back. Hell, they even asked us about how many children we wanted making us red in embarrassment. They asked and teased whilst we sat there blushing and fidgeting with our fingers because of awkwardness.

I mean shouldn't the teases was supposed to be for the bride and not her best friends?! Indian ladies!!*sigh*

Until Shanaya saved us by sending the ladies away by saying there were some rituals left. That's when we took a breath of relief. Shanaya was out knight in shining Mehendi Ceremony at the moment and we thanked her so many times. We even promised her to share our chocolates with her which we did only with Shree.

"Ah so you are hungry?" Armaan asked to Sam.

Sam rolled her eyes.

"That's what I said dude!" She said in a duh tone.

"Okay then! I am ready to share my food with you!" He said making Sam grin and me frown.

"Hey! And what about me?" I whined.

"Hey! I can't share my food with everyone! And besides you have a boyfriend to feed you so go to him! No wait, don't go! Because he is already coming here! See!" Armaan said pointing to my left.

I looked there to see Yuvraj approaching us with a plate in his hands. When our eyes met, he gave me a soft smile as he made his way towards me. Sitting down beside me he rolled his sleeves up.

The plate was filled with different types of dishes. Like Roti,naan, pulao, dal, palak paneer, mixed vegetables, puri & manchurian etc.

"Let's feed that tiny stomach of yours!" He said tearing the naan.

"How did you know that I was hungry?" I asked him in amazement.

"Mhm let's see! First of all it's already the dinner time and I know you haven't eat anything after lunch! And the second one is I know you better than you think I do!" He said putting the piece of naan with dal infront of my mouth.

"Did you eat?" I asked.

"I will! Now don't ask more questions! And open your mouth!" He said.

I shook my head.

"No! How can I when you haven't! I'll only eat if you'll eat with me!" I said.

Sam and Armaan who were sitting beside me awed making me roll my eyes at their idiotic behaviours. Turning to him I threw a glare at their direction making Armaan gulp in fear and Sam gulped her food down with wide eyes. I turned back to Yuvraj to see him looking at him with an amused look.

"What?" I asked in annoyance.

What the hell with everyone and their constant stares at me today?!

"Nothing! You're cute!" He said.

I grinned like a chesire cat.

"I know right!" I said making him chuckle.

"Never change baby never change!" He muttered under his breath chuckling which was loud enough for me to hear.

"Come on now! Eat a bite and then feed me! And then go on like that! Okay?" I said.

"Fine! As you say my queen!" He said and quickly ate the morsel and made another one for me.

He ate himself and fed me till I was full. After that he brought a cup of ice cream and some chocolates for me. And currently he was feeding me the ice-cream and had my chocolates in his pockets safe.

"Good girl!" He said as he wiped my mouth with his thumb making me gasp & shiver.

My face flushed red.

"So innocent!" He muttered.

"I will be back baby!" He said as he got up.

I nodded and then he vanished in the crowd. I took a look of my surroundings, the room was filled with guests. Shree has already ate by Sid as he fed her and I saw them during Yuvraj fed me. Her and Sid's couch was not much away from ours.

Today is Christmas Eve and we have decided to help the workers to take out the decoration of today and decorate the palace for Christmas.

"Girls!" I looked at the direction from where the voice came and saw mum coming towards us.

"Yes mum?" I asked.

"The function is over and guests have already eaten so you two can go and freshen up! You guys are going to decorate for Christmas right?" She asked us.

"Yes aunty! Don't worry we'll go soon!" Sam said.

Mum nodded and left.

"We shall go!" Shree said.

Sam nodded.

"You two leave, I will be back in five minutes!" I said as I got up.

"Armaan could you please put my phone inside my pocket?" I asked.

He nodded and got up. Picking up my phone from the couch, he put it inside my dress' pocket.

"Thank you! See you guys soon!" I said and waved leaving towards the crowd.

Looking for Yuvraj, I came all the way out of the palace but didn't find him anywhere. Pouting I turned around to go back inside but stopped when I saw him and Sahil talking. Smiling I walk towards them. Hearing my footsteps Yuvraj turned as his back was towards me and Sahil's eyes also snapped to me. They both gave me a smile. I stood beside Yuvraj as I waved at Sahil.

"Hi!" I said making Sahil chuckle and Yuvraj looked at me with amusement clearly showing in his eyes.

"Hello Mia! You're looking beautiful and that henna, it looks beautiful too!" Sahil said softly making me grin.

"You like it?" I asked looking at my henna and again looked at Sahil.

Sahil nodded with a smile.

"Yeah! Yuvraj's name suits on your hands!" Sahil said making me smile shyly.

"Everything alright baby? Why did you come out?" Yuvraj asked.

"Yeah everything is fine! I just came to inform you that I am going back to my room to freshen up! Then we all will do the decorations together okay!" I said.

"Yeah! Okay! Take your time!" Yuvraj said.

"Aren't you two going to freshen up?" I asked them.

"Yeah we will! Most of the guests are almost gone so we will go after all of them are gone!" Sahil said.

"Oh okay then! See you guys later!" I said and turned around to leave.

"Yeah okay but DON'T TAKE MUCH TIME!" I heard Yuvraj's yell as I was going inside the palace.

I rolled my eyes and turned towards him.

"WE WON'T!" I yelled and went inside.

Climbing up the stairs I finally reached infront of our room and pushed it open with my shoulder and walked inside. Closing the door behind me, I found Sam sitting on the bed and looking at her hands with a lopsided grin on her face. I frowned and walked close to see that she has her Mehendi washed and the henna design looked so beautiful.

"Wow Sam! This looks so pretty!" I squealed out loud making her grin more wider than before.

She nodded her head more eagerly.

"I know right! This looks so cool!" She said.

"So did you take some pictures!" I asked plopping down beside her.

"Yeah! I did! But I want you to take some more pictures so go and wash your hands fast!" She said.

"Okay! I will be fast!" I said and got up.

Walking inside the washroom, I opened the tap and washed my hands. After my hand was washed good I closed the tap and wiped my hands. Bringing my hands close I gasped as soon as I took a glance at them.

I almost can't believe at the shade just after three hours.(ignore the time guys, I needed to take the story forward) It almost made me scared for a moment. But gulping the fear down I came out of the bathroom.

"You washed your hands? Show me! Show me!" Sam squealed rushing to me.

Grabbing my hands she took a glance and the smile on her face vanished as she saw the shade of my henna. The shade was a mixture of dark brown, red and black and it looked so tempting yet so scary. Sam's eyes widened as she looked up at me.

"Wh-what the hell!" Sam stuttered.

"Hey guys! What are you doing there?" Shree asked coming inside the room.

She skipped to us frowning as we didn't give any answer. Then it was her turn to gasp.

"What th-the!!" She muttered.

"I know right! Th-this is something else!" Sam whispered as she took a proper look at my hand.

We were still in gaze when we heard Sam's squeal making us jump at our place.

"Oh my god! This means my brother will love you to infinite!" Sam sang as she jumped up and down.

"Yeah Mia! It must be because of that reason! You remember what the ladies told us! So just calm down and freshen up! We need to go down okay?" Shree said.

I hummed and went to my closet. Picking up my outfit I went back inside the washroom. I took a shower and came out wearing my outfit.

Pulling my hairs into a low ponytail, I wore my shoes and then earrings as I skipped downstairs knowing Shree and Sam are already down.

The living room was filled with the colorful accessories of decoration. Christmas is one of my favourite celebrations and I enjoyed it most in the UK. Excitedly I rushed towards the jewels and took a proper look at them. There were lights, bells, reindeers, little Santa stuff toys, stockings, wreaths, swags, tree skirts, candles, garlands, hanging icicles, figurines, balls, stars and much more

"Come Mia! Let's decorate!" Sam called me from behind.

"Come with me first I need to show you something!" Sam said and held my hand.

"Okay okay! Let's go!" I said and followed her as she was dragging me towards god knows where.

She lead me towards a big wooden door in the hallway of the ground floor. The palace is so big and this was the only room we haven't visited ever as it was under construction when we came here. Pushing the door open, she left me flabbergasted.

Inside was a huge ball room and a huge Christmas tree was placed in between which almost touched the ceiling. The room looked as big as the ball room of Buckingham palace.

"Wow!" The word left my mouth as I gawked at the giant room with huge chandeliers.

"I know right! Come on! Let's go inside and decorate the tree! I can't control myself from hugging that giant tree anymore!" Sam squealed.

I saw the boys inside and their eyes snapped to us as Sam squealed. My eyes went to Yuvraj who is now approaching us.

He was looking handsome as usual I'm his white shirt, dark jeans and black hoodie jacket.

"Ready?" He asked.

I nodded.

"Come on then let's decorate the tree, the workers will see the rest!" He said.

I nodded. Sam smirked as she left us and went inside making me narrow my eyes at her. Yuvraj chuckled and held out his hand. Hesitating because of the henna, I finally put my hand in his. Frowning he brought my hand close to his face as he examined my hand. Grabbing my another hand he examined that too. A gasp came from behind me making me jump at my place. I turned to see Priyanka bhabhi looking surprisingly at my hands which was still in Yuvraj's.

She approached us and took my hands as she examined them.

"H-how did this happen?" She muttered out.

Gulping in fear, I finally encouraged my inner self to open my mouth.

"Wh-what's wrong bhabhi?" I asked stuttering.

"Yeah bhabhi! Why is her henna so dark!" Yuvraj asked.

"Dark shade decides the amount of love your life partner will give you as per the Indian traditions! And seeing this I can say only one thing!" Priyanka bhabhi took a pause making me more nervous.

"That Yuvraj's love will be infinity or you can say limitless for you Mia!" She said making me red.

Coughing nervously, I cleared my throat.

"I-i need to go!" I said and ran inside the ballroom towards the Christmas tree.

Taking deep breaths I looked up to see Sahil, Veer, Armaan, Varun bhaiya and Abhi dada giving me weird looks. Giggling nervously I waved at them.

"H-hi guys!" I said which came out as a whisper.

They nodded with a frown. Fidgeting with my fingers, I waved at them again making their frown deepen.

"Bye guys!" I said and ran around the tree where Shanaya, Sam, Shree, Pihu and Hina were decorating the tree.

"Hey!" I said as I waved at them.

"Come on, let's decorate it before midnight!" Shanaya said.

We nodded and started our work.

After sometime

The tree was almost done and it is almost 11 in the night. Dad, Anil uncle, Prem uncle, Rajveer uncle & Sunil uncle helped us too. And our mums brought fed us some snacks whilst we were decorating.

Mum, Madhuri aunty, Twinkle aunty and Mahira aunty when saw my hands they reacted the same as Shree, Sam and Priyanka bhabhi. They even assured me that it wasn't anything bad. Yuvraj too assured my by his jokes that how much he will shower me with his love and pamper me as a princess.

After the decorations of Christmas tree and fireplace was done we all went back to our respective rooms. I changed into my night dress and plopped down on my bed after a long day. Sighing I brought my phone and unlocked it. Thirty notifications popped on my skin. Some from the IG. Some texts from my friends from the UK. And a missed call from Doctor Raghvir.

I frowned when I saw his name.

Why did he call me?! Must be something related to the hospital!

Opening his profile, I typed and sent a text.

"Sorry Raghvir! I was busy with the rituals! I know it must be be something important! And I am really sorry for not picking up the call!"

Sighing I put the phone back and closed my eyes as sleep took over me.

07:05AM IST

Stretching my hands I got up and rubbed my eyes. Putting my feet on the floor, I retarded it as soon as my feet touched something else than the floor. Looking down I saw a big red and white sock. But it looked weird. I think something is inside it as it was forming a rectangular shape. Picking it up I pulled the sock out and found a blue rectangular box inside. Opening the lid of the box I found a beautiful pair of Christmas slippers.

There was a card sticked onto the reindeer's slippers. Pulling it off I read the letter.

"Good Morning Meri Jaan! My Princess, may all your wishes come true and makes you happy. Wishing you a wonderful Christmas."

I smiled and wore my slippers. It felt so fluffy and warm making me squeal in my mind. Putting the letter aside, I went inside the washroom. I stopped when I saw another sock on the basin. Grinning I padded towards the basin and held the sock. Taking the sock out I found another box and it was a small one. Unwrapping the box I took out the cute headband which was inside it with a letter sticked on.

"The Lord has given me the greatest blessing that any man could ever receive - YOU, Merry Christmas Baby!"

Smiling I put the headband on my head and brushed my teeth. After I was done, I took off the headband and the slipper and stepped into the shower stripping off my clothes. I took a shower and came out wrapping a towel around my body and another around my hairs. I wore the slippers Yuvraj gifted me and took the headband from the slab.

Oh my God, look at that face" Murmuring Blank Space by Taylor Swift I came outside the washroom and went inside my closet.

I opened the closet door and was about to step inside when I felt something under my foot. I looked down to see another sock. Smiling I squatted down and took out the sock. There was another box inside. Putting the sock aside, I opened the lid of the box. There was a cute pink teddy inside making me awe.

And as usual a note sticked to the bear.

"You are the only woman for me, my one in a million - my soulmate. Have a great holiday. I love you so much."

Smiling I picked my Christmas outfit and get changed into it.

After that I came out of the closet room and saw Sam and Shree getting ready. Shree was wearing a velvety white jumpsuit with green polka dots and a high neck with no sleeves whilst Sam was wearing a mini green skirt which reached up to her mid thigh and a white crop top and Sam and I are kinda matching.

"Hey girls! Good morning and happy Christmas!" I said as I took them in a group hug.

"Happy Christmas babe!" Sam squealed kissing my both cheeks.

"Happy Christmas bestie!" Shree said kissing my cheeks too.

I kissed their cheeks as we pulled back.

"Damn girl! You're looking hot! And we all are matching!" Sam said with a smirk.

"And whose idea was that?" Shree and I asked Sam crossing our hands in front of us.

"Oh come on! Look how great we're looking!" Sam whined.

"Well I agree!" Shree said.

"Me too!" I said as I sat in front of the dressing mirror. I saw a bouquet, a thermos cup and another sock. Picking up the bouquet, I took a whip of smell and man! It smells amazing.

There was another sticker sticked to it and it said,

"A bouquet of roses for my rose! Merry Christmas to the most amazing girl who taught me how to grow roses in my heart. This Christmas, may all your cherished dreams come true!"

A smile spread on my lips as I read the sweet message. He sure is a sweetheart! At least to me. Opening the cup's lid I found hot cocoa inside and of course a note under the cup. Picking up the cup I read the letter.

"Let my love become your Christmas star. When you are in doubt let my feelings be your Christmas lights. When you seem lost, turn to me. Merry Christmas darling."

Smiling I took a sip of the hot cocoa.

"Another one!" I muttered out as I picked the sock up.

"Oh yeah! That's for you!" Sam said.

"You know about it?" I asked in a surprised tone by looking at her through the mirror.

"Of course dude! Who do you think let him inside in the middle of the night?!" Sam asked.

I rolled my eyes and took the sock off. I found a little red velvet box inside. Opening the lid I found a pendant of my name "Mia".

"Beautiful!" Words came out of my lips as I stared at the beautiful gift. There was another letter on the lid and I read it.

"Mia! This name increases my heart beat! This name spreads a smile on my face. You are the Alice to my mad hatter, the peanut butter and jelly to my bread! Love you tons. Merry Christmas."

"Awh! That's so cute! My brother has gone all mushy mushy!" Sam said.

"Come on I will help you!" Shree said.

I gave her the pendant and removed my hairs from behind as she tied the necklace around my neck. The metal hit my skin making me shiver a little.

"Here! Done!" Shree said.

I smiled as I held the pendant in my hand.

"This is beautiful!" I said.

"Mhm! But there is more! And for that you need to get ready first!" Sam said.

I nodded and started my makeup. Sam and Shree too went to their mirrors. Talking about this and that we completed our makeup and then did our hairstyles. I just curled my hairs and wore the headband Yuvraj gave me.

I wore my earrings, bracelet and shoes after that and I was ready and so were Sam and Shree.

"Let's go then!" Sam said. We nodded and went downstairs.

The palace was decorated with Christmas lights, bells and etc. We came to the living room and I found Yuvi sitting on the couch with Alia. Alia was wearing a beautiful red coloured dress.

"BUII! MIA AUNTY! SHREE AUNTY!" Alia squealed as she wiggled out of Yuvraj's arms and ran up to us.

"Hey Angel!" Sam picked her up.

"Merry Christmas baby!" I said and pecked her cheek.

"Merry Christmas Mia aunty! Merry Christmas bui and Shree aunty!" She wished us back.

"Here you go!" I gave her the chocolate I have brought for her.

"Eeeeekkkkk chocolates! Thank you Aunty!" She squealed again making us giggle.

"You're welcome princess!" I said as my eyes wandered to Yuvraj whose eyes were on me since we came.

Excusing myself, I went towards Yuvraj as he got up and took me in his embrace.

"You're looking gorgeous baby! Happy Christmas!" He whispered huskily in my ear.

"Happy Christmas Yuvi! The gifts were so sweet! Thank you for that!" I said.

"Merry Christmas Bhai!" Sam said as I pulled back and hugged Yuvraj!

"Merry Christmas babygirl!" Yuvraj wished her back.

We wished everyone when they came and then attended the pray in the cathedral. After we came back from the cathedral, we shared our gifts that we had brought for eachother. I got, custom couple illustration frame for Twinkle aunty and Rajveer uncle, Sunil uncle and Mahira aunty & Anil uncle and Madhuri aunty. I got coffee warmer for dad as he always forgets to have his coffee during work and then mum had to make another for him. Karaoke microphone for mum because she loves to sing and I and dad love her voice. Massage gun for Abhi dada as he always stays stressed. Cute animation blanket and sleep mask for Sam as she loves to sleep. A cross body bag for Shree and a personal alarm keychain for Armaan as he is too lazy to wake-up in the morning.

Air fryer for Varun Bhaiya, 3 in one charging stands for Sahil bhaiya, Sid and Veer. Handbags for Shanaya, Pihu and Hina. Gardening tool set for Rani ma as she loves gardening. A fitness band for Duggu bhaiya because he is a fitness freak, a makeup kit for Priyanka bhabhi and a kid's smart watch for Alia. And lastly a personalised tie set and a UV smartphone sanitiser and universal charger for Yuvi. And goggles for all the male species.

I got a M. Gérard Diamond Bracelet from dad (and a surprise gift which is currently waiting for me in Mumbai as dad said), a classic quilt textured pink sling bag from mum, a beautiful diamond earrings set from Anil uncle and Madhuri aunty, a platinum necklace from Sunil uncle and Mahira Aunty, A diamond bracelet from from Rajveer uncle and Twinkle aunty and a kada from Rani ma. Sam got me a beautiful bestie locket which connected to her and Shree's locket. Shree got me a beautiful pair of heels which I can wear on anything. Armaan got me a pearl bracelet with my name engraved in and same for Sam and Shree. Abhi Dada got me a Blancpain Quantieme Retrograde 3653-2954-58B watch set. He knew how much I adored watches, he is not my favourite just like that! Etc.

After that we all cooked brunch outside in the garden. We did BBQ. We enjoyed our times with casual talking and some games.

Next Day
26th December, Kalire and Chura ceremony

We bet every girl has at least once daydreamed about wearing the fanciest Chura. Kalire and Chura ceremony is a pre-wedding Indian bride ceremony that happens in the bride's house on the very day of her wedding. The bride's maternal uncle (Maamaji) brings a set of Kalire and Chudas for the bride-to-be, which is traditionally a set of white and red bangles and some golden danglers. This ritual is carried out as the means of wishing good luck to the bride-to-be as she leaves her home to start a new life with her husband. Kalire and Chura Ceremony is definitely a tear-jerker Hindu pre-wedding ritual for most of the brides as this ceremony makes her feel like it's almost time for her to say her final goodbyes.

I was wearing my green coloured lehenga with white coloured works on it. Pouting my lips I applied some red matte lipstick and tada, I was done!

"Mia! You ready?" Shree asked adjusting her dupatta.

I got up from the stool and moved towards her. Shree was wearing a golden coloured lehenga with her hairs half tied behind.

"Yeah! I am ready! Where is Sam?" I asked.

"I am here guys!" Sam said as she came out of the washroom in her cream coloured lehenga.

"Let's go! Let's go!" She said.

"Calm down babes! We have time left! And mum said she and Mahira aunty will come to get Shree with us today! So now all we have to do is wait for them!" I said.

"Oh! Okay then!" Sam said and plopped down on her bed opening her phone.

She started to make faces whilst clicking selfies. Shree and I sighed and sat beside her. We took pictures together and posted them on insta stories. A whilst later there was a knock and entered mum and Mahira aunty looking as beautiful as they looked always.

"Oh my god! Mahi look at them! They are looking so beautiful! Especially the bride herself!" Mum exclaimed as she took steps towards us.

We got up and smiled at our mums and Shree too. They applied their Kajal on us and we finally went downstairs to the hall.

Everyone was present there but there were no guest today as this was decided to be a private ceremony. My eyes met with Yuvraj's as he gave me a smile and gestured me that I looked good. Smiling back at him I too did the same. Yuvraj was wearing a black coloured shirt with a golden and black coloured jacket and he looked handsome.

We made Shree sat beside Sid as Sam and I brought the Kalire. The Kalire ceremony was basically done by bride's maternal uncle but as there weren't any so her siblings too could have done it. Being the single child, Shree requested me and Sam and we agreed in an instant. Why we wouldn't?

Kneeling down beside Shree's couch, Sam and I made her wore the churas attached with the Kalire. Looking up at her I found her tear welled eyes. Smiling softly at her, I took her in a hug.

"Don't cry Shree! You know that we are sisters before friends right! And this is nothing! We will do everything for you! Won't we Sam?" I asked pulling back from the hug.

"Yes yes we will! Don't cry yar! Nahin to gayi meri saari hard work paani mein!" Sam whined making Shree giggle.

After sometime it was the time for the Kalire ritual. And guess what our mums made us sit on the floor as Shree laughed seeing our sulking face. It's not like we didn't want to do the ritual! It's just we didn't want to get teased again like in the Mehendi Ceremony for god sake. But alas!

Shanaya, Me, Sam and of course Hina, we all sat down as Shree came behind us. My eyes met with Yuvraj who was looking attentively at the ritual.

"Close your eyes girls!" Madhuri aunty said as we closed our eyes.

The only thing I heard was Shree's anklet and Kalire sounds as she was moving those over our heads. After sometime I felt something fell on my head as my breathing stopped. I heard cheers even of Sam's as I slowly opened my eyes. The first thing I saw was Yuvraj! Then I felt someone hugging me.

"Oh my god! My another bestie is getting married! Yahooooo!" Sam squealed.

My eyes widened as I saw my lap. There were two pieces from the Kalire and then I looked over my head to see Shree smiling down at me.

"Congratulations bestie!" She said.

"Come on girls get up now! And boys come here and sit down!" Mahira aunty said as we got up.

Soon Yuvraj, Armaan, Sahil and Varun bhaiya sat down at our places as Shree again did the same and this time the Kalire fell on Yuvraj making me go all red as the hall buzzed with squeals and cheers. I gulped down a lump as I saw Yuvraj winking at me. My eyes widened as I saw Mahira aunty saw that and gave me teasing looks making me curse Yuvraj with incoherent words inside my head.

Currently we girls(me, Priyanka bhabhi, Shanaya, Sam, Shree, Hina, Pihu) were getting ready for the bachelorette party.

I wore my outfit and then the choker on my neck. I was wearing Yuvraj's pendant too. After doing my makeup and hair I turned to see the other girls. They too got ready and then we all went downstairs.

We saw the boys there. Yes we are going to the same club but their and our party place will be different. Our party was organised by Sam whilst Varun bhaiya did their. My eyes met with Yuvraj's who was constantly gazing at me without any shame.

He was looking a little extra handsome today in his black and golden suit. His hairs were on point & the smirk never left his lips.

"Let's go guys! We will get late! Byeeee boyyyyysss!" Sam sang as we walk past the boys.

We sat in our two cars as the bodyguards drove us to the club.

Climbing down the car we saw the boy's car pulling beside us. Smirking Yuvi came out and went in without a word as the other boys (Duggu bhaiya, Varun bhaiya, Sid, Sahil, Veer, Armaan, Abhi Dada) followed him inside making our mouth fall.

"Did they just?" Shree said in a surprised tone.

"Yes behen! They ignored us!" Sam said.

"Don't worry girls! We will show them who is in the charge here! What's say!" Priyanka bhabhi said.

"OH HELL YEAAHHHH!" We cheered and went inside.

The inside was buzzing with the disco music and the club was empty because of the special order from Veer. We went to our VIP lounge and my eyes widened when I saw the sight infront of us. There were 4 guys with stripper outfit and a smirk on their faces as their eyes fell on us. I tugged Shree's hand and she threw a questioning look at me.

"What are they doing here?" I hissed.

"Who?" She asked.

I pointed towards the strippers as her eyes followed mine. Her eyes also widened as she choked on her breath.

"What the fuck!" She whisper-yelled.

Me and Shree tugged on Sam's hand and jerked her back to us.

"What the hell guys? What are you doing?" She asked.

"What are we doing? What have you done Sam? Why the hell the strippers are here!" I asked whispering.

Sam smirked.

"Cheer up babes! They are for us! Let's say to entertain us!" She said making us facepalm ourselves.

"Hey babes!" I heard in my ear making my breath hitch.

My eyes widened as I moved away and hide behind Shree.

"Guys guys! They are kinda uncomfortable right now! Show us some moves to make the environment light! Come on!" Priyanka bhabhi said as she lead us towards the bar.

We plopped down on our seats as I took deep breaths. My face must be red because I can feel the warmth radiating from my cheeks.

"Oh god! Mia are you okay?" Shanaya asked.

"Y-yeah! Yeah I am fine! It's just I am not good with clubbing!" I said.

"That's okay Mia! Try to lighten up! We are here with you! Don't be nervous okay!" Priyanka bhabhi said giving my shoulder a squeeze.

I nodded and gave her a smile.

"Hello ladies! So first of all may I know who is the bride to be amongst you!" A guy in his late twenties appeared from behind the bar and came to us.

He was wearing a black shirt with his sleeves rolled up till his elbow.

"Yeah that'd be be me!" Shree said.

"Oh cool! Congratulations ma'am! So what can I get for you and your bridesmaids!" He asked.

"What's the best you have got?" Sam asked.

"Well ma'am there are many! But I'd suggest you our famous french 75, Martini and Paloma!" The bartender said.

"Um guys! I don't think I am getting drunk!" I confessed.

"Come on Mia! You need to! It's our best friend's bachelorette!" Sam said.

"But Sam you know I am not good with alcohol!" I said.

"Oh that I know! But damn me if I didn't love it!" Sam said giggling making me groan.

"What are you talking about?" Shree asked.

I threw a glare at Sam who seemed unfazed about it as she started to explain what she was talking about.

Leaning my head behind on the person's shoulder I let my body over take me with the music and I danced. I glanced up to see him smirking at me.

Stefan looked down at me with a smirk as he swayed with me. Sam and Tobias were just beside us. Tonight we were on a double date with the Miller brothers. We met them for the first time in Uni. They were the final year students when we just got in. And we became friends. And it's just a friendly date.

The song changed and one of my favourite song played.

I pouted and shook my head.

"Mhm okay! You can go!" I slurred.

I swayed my body with the music and sang along. I again felt two pair of arms on my waist and suddenly I was pulled back by the hands which was holding me close. I frowned and looked behind to see this was not Stefan. I rolled my eyes when I felt him poking his hard on my back. Stomping on his foot, I turned around and elbowed him in the stomach.

"Oops sorry! I thought it was my idiot friend!" I said with a hand over my mouth.

"Actually no I am not sorry! This is for putting your hands on my body without my consent." I said and spat on him.

"You! BITCH!" He roared making the music stop.

The people surrounded us. My drunk self formed when i felt there was no music anymore.

"Hey! Put on the music! Will ya?" I whined at the DJ.

But he just gawked at me with wide eyes. I rolled my eyes and walked up to him. Closing his mouth, I took the connection off and connected the music system with my phone.

"What the fuck are you doing?" A voice came behind me making me frown.

I glanced at my back to see a furious Chris. I almost laughed seeing his all red face because of the anger.

"Wait! Will ya!" I asked and turned back to my phone.

Grinning I played the play button.

The club fell silent as the song ended. I pouted when the realisation hit me that the song was over. Looking around I found Stef with two glass in his hands as he looked at me with wide open eyes. Rolling my eyes I stumbled to him and took both the glasses from his hand making him snapped out of his thoughts.

Looking back at Chris, I found him caressing his hairs. His eyes met mine and his eyes went to the glasses in my hands. His eyes again moved to my eyes. I smirked making his eyes wide. He backed away with his hands up in the air.

"No! No!" He said.

I stopped towards him with the glasses. He turned around and ran as I ran behind him. But to my surprise, he ran away. I pouted and glared at my legs which stumbled with every step I took.

"Mia! You done?" Stef asked wrapping his arm around my shoulder.

"But I was about to ask him a drink! Why did he ran away?" I asked.

Stefan chuckled.

"Babe! Anyone would have after seeing your bold avatar! Now let's get you home! What's say?" He asked.

"Mm where's Sam?" I asked.

"I am here! I've got your phone! Let's go Stef before the drunk Mia does something else!" Sam said giggling as Tobias and Stefan chuckled.

"Hey! I didn't do anything!" I whined making them laugh more.

Flashback end

I groaned when I saw the girls laughing their hearts out.

"What happened after that? Ever met with The champi Guy again!" Priyanka bhabhi asked with a smirk making everyone laugh again.

"Yep bhabhi! He is our friend now! We met him again after some days in a store! And did you know what was his reaction when he saw us?! His eyes widened as he saw Mia! He started to hide his face and was about to run but the guards stopped him because he was running with some things without paying for them and they thought he was a thief!" Sam said.

"Ugh! Stop it guys!" I whined and chugged down the glass the bartender just placed on the bar stand.

The girls looked at me with wide eyes.

"What?" I asked with a frown.

"N-nothing Mia!" Sam stuttered. I shrugged it off and took another glass.

The glasses were short and I was hella thirsty. I chugged down 4 or 5 more. And after that I didn't remember anything.

Yuvraj's POV

I took a sip of my whiskey as I saw Varun forcing Sahil and Sid to dance in the dance floor.

"The sight is quite amusing! The dark prince getting controlled by his friend! Think what if the news spreads out?!" Veer whispered and then we both chuckled making the remaining boys frown at us.

I stopped when I felt a buzz in my trousers pocket. Taking my mobile out I found Hina's name popping on my notification tab.

Frowning I opened it and saw a video. I played the video and my eyes blazed with fury.

Throwing the glass across the wall, I stood up. The music stopped as the boys looked at me shocked. Veer got up too.

"What happened Raj?" He asked.

But without answering him, I stormed out of the lounge and went straight to the girl's lounge. I opened the door with a thud as the girls eyes fell on me and their eyes widened in an instant. I felt footsteps behind me and they stopped just beside me. My eyes roamed around and finally fell on the person for whom I was here.

My jaws ticked and my fist tightened as I saw the scene infront of me. Those fucking make strippers had their hand over my girl whilst she swayed with the music.

A new song played as Mia's eyes made contact with mine.

And she finally passed out in my hold. Picking her up in bridal style I glared at the male strippers before storming out of the club. I took Mia to my car and put her down.

"Y-yuvi! I wa-ant to d-dance!" She slurred in her sleep.

Shaking my head I opened the door and sat her in. I was about to pull back to close the door but Mia clutched my body close to her as she encircled her arms around my neck.

"Do-don't go!" She whispered sleepily.

My heart melted making me forget what she was doing minutes ago in the club. Pecking her forehead I gently took her arms off my neck and closed the door. Sitting in the driver's seat, I texted Sid that I was taking Mia back to the palace. Glancing another time at Mia, I started the engine and drove off.

I parked the car and came out giving the car keys to the guard. I took my in my arms and went inside. Ascending up the stairs, I finally reached her room. Kicking the door open gently to not wake up Mia, I went in and placed Mia on the bed as she snuggled more into the pillow murmuring something.

Sighing I took her heels off and choker too. Pecking her forehead I took off my suit and sat beside her.

"You're so going to get punished tomorrow for what you were doing tonight babygirl!" I whispered in her ear and nibbled on it.

She moaned sexily making me froze at my place. Controlling the desire to make her mine, I cursed myself as I adjusted my trousers. Getting up I covered Mia with the duvet and picked up my suit before leaving the room. Closing the door softly behind me, I went to my room. I called a bodyguard and asked him to get me some Advil. Then i took a cold shower.

After that I changed myself into some sweats and went downstairs to the kitchen. The bodyguard came inside and gave me the tablets. Taking the tablets and a glass of water I went to Mia's room. Placing the water and Advil on the bedside table, I pecked her forehead again murmuring a good night. Walking back to my room, I plopped down on my bed and slept.

A punishment is waiting for you tomorrow my baby! I ain't gonna forgive you for letting those bastards touch you the way they liked! Even if you're drunk!
