Mridula's POV

Next Day (the day after engagement), 19th December

Umaid Bhawan Palace, Circuit House Rd, Cantt Area, Jodhpur, Rajasthan 342006

Siddharth and Sharddha got engaged in an auspicious way yesterday. After their engagement, we danced and ate a lot. I was all worn out when I came back to our room yesterday night. And now I am still sprawled over the bed because my leg aches dude because of all the dance I did yesterday. Same goes with Sam and Shree but the difference is they are passed out whilst I was wide awake. I had a shower and did my business before laying back on the bed.

A knock interrupted my thoughts so groaning I got up before I had to face Sam and Shree's wrath. I opened the door and two maids came in. They were holding two large trays in their hands which I guess were the breakfast for us. Today everyone is going to have their breakfast at their rooms as everyone were worn out because of yesterday. The maids put the trays and went out. I closed the door behind them muttering a thank you. Lazily stumbling over the carpet I glared at it and went back to the bed.

Sighing I shook Shree and Sam up. They got up after some hardwork of mine and currently they were gone to brush their teeth whilst I was checking some mails on my phone and resting my head on the headboard. Shree came out putting her hairs in a high bun. Sam also came out so I put my mobile aside and placed the trays on the bed. There were different kinds of breakfast as in aloo paratha, fruit salads, sandwiches, bread jam and omelette. Sam took an omelette, bread jam with fruit salad whilst Shree took an aloo paratha with fruit salad. I took a sandwich and some fruit salad too.

"Tomorrow is haldi! You guys remember right?" I asked taking a bite of my sandwich.

They nodded stuffing their mouths with the food. I scoffed.

"Yeah right! That's why you two were sleeping like that!" I said.

"Like what?" They both asked in unison.

"Like you two were dead just waiting for someone to put you inside the coffin and bury you six feet down inside the earth surface!" I said sarcastically.

They glared at me making me roll my eyes. Seeing me rolling my eyes, they groaned.

"Come on Mia! You can't say like that! We were tired!" Sam huffed.

"Yeah whatever! But that doesn't mean the bride and the best friend of the bride will be sleeping without caring of anything else!" I said.

"But how? You weren't sleeping and you are my best friend too!" Shree said.

I rolled my eyes and got up as I was done with my breakfast.

"Whatever! After eating them, make sure you two get freshen up and come downstairs! We are going out and it will freshen up our minds before the haldi function! Am I clear?" I asked in a serious tone.

"Okay! As you say commander!" They said and saluted me.

Rolling my eyes, I went out of the room. God! My eyes will come out of the sockets if I keep rolling them! I was wearing a off-white coloured sleeveless asymmetric dress.

I came down the stairs with my open hairs bouncing on my shoulders to see dada staring out in space. I feel really bad for him. With all the wedding functions going on, he must be missing boudi. I still remember the day he got married.

Flashback

"Dada! Are you ready?" I asked barging inside my dada's suite.

He was combing his hairs and was already dressed in his red sherwani which fitted his body like a second skin.

"Wow dada! You look amazing!" I said rushing over to his side.

"Yeah! Bhabhi would be head over heels for you again! But before that you'll lose your senses seeing her!" Sam said walking inside and I nodded in agreement.

"Thank you my princesses! You two are also looking so beautiful! And I am in a very big trouble!" He said wrapping an arm around my shoulder and another around Sam.

Frowning in confusion I asked him why.

"Because now I have three works. First to get married. Second to keep an eye on my beautiful would be wife and third to keep an eye on my beautiful little sisters!" He said making me and Sam giggle.

After sometimes, Sam and I were standing behind dada who is now on the mandap waiting for his bride to come. A beautiful song filled the atmosphere and Ruhi aka my boudi entered the wedding hall with her brother and some cousins by her side. I turned back to look at dada to see him froze at his place.

"I am so lucky!" He muttered under his breath loud enough for me and Sam to hear.

We giggled.

He was happy. No it would be an understatement. He was ecstatic. They both loved eachother like there's no tomorrow but god had some other plans. He took Boudi away from us. I know dada blames himself for boudi leaving the house. But to be honest, it wasn't! It was all fate's cruel game and two heart got broken at that moment when boudi left.

Shaking my head off the thoughts, I descend down the stairs and went towards the window where dada was standing.

"Good Morning dada!" I said hugging his torso by side.

Smiling down at me he pecked me forehead and wrapped his arm around my shoulder.

"Good morning princess!" He replied.

"Dada! I want to visit the city so will you take me out?" I asked.

"Right now?" He asked back.

"Yeah I want to see the city! How about it?" I suggested.

"Sure thing! Anything for my princess!" He said.

Smiling I pecked his cheek.

"Go and get ready! I'll be waiting for you outside!" I said.

He nodded and went inside to change. I went outside the palace. My eyes caught something in the garden so I moved towards it. Stepping inside the garden, I saw The Queen of Rajasthan or Pihu plucking flowers. She was wearing green coloured saree with a full sleeve blouse.

I was about to go to her but I stopped when I saw Veer coming towards her. So I stepped a little away. He said something then hold her hand. She was about to protest but she looked down and followed him inside. I just stood their in confusion.

What was that?

"Princess!" Someone called me snapping me out of my thoughts.

I turned around to see dada with a car so shrugging the thoughts of Pihu and Veer, I went to the car and settled inside.

02:45PM IST

We finally reached to the palace back after a day of exploring Jodhpur. The city was beautiful would be an understatement. It was full of life and the people were so sweet too. We ate different kinds of Rajasthani delicacies. I ate kachoris too and man! My stomach is about to burst out because of all the things I ate.

I came out of the car with dada and we walked inside the palace together. I saw Alia in the porch.

"Hey Alia!" I called out for her.

Her head jerked to me and smiling widely she made her way towards me. Pecking her cheek, I lift her up in my arms.

"What were you doing Angel?" I asked walking inside.

"I was just waiting for chachu and V chachu! They have promised me to bring ice-cream and chocolates for me!" She said cutely.

"Oh! Is that it? Well I happens to be having some chocolates with me! Do you want some?" I asked.

"Really? You will share your chocolate with me! But who gave you chocolates?" She asked.

"Well your chachu gave me the chocolates yesterday! Now tell me do you want some?" I asked again.

"Yes! But I never share my chocolates with anyone so I can't give you the chocolates bought for me by chachu!" She said with a pout.

"No worries baby! Here you go! And you don't need to share your chocolates with me!" I assured her giving some from my chocolates.

She took them from my hand and I put her down.

"Are you sure?" She asked.

Giggling at her cute behaviour I nodded my head. She squealed and kissed my cheek before running away.

"ALIA! BE CAREFUL!" I yelled out.

Shaking my head I turned to see, dada is nowhere around but someone else was. Yuvraj!

He was staring at me with a really intimidating look and his hands were tucked inside his pockets. Tucking a hair away from my face, i gulped because of his constant stares. Taking steps towards me, he finally stood just infront of me. Our body almost touching and his breath fanning on my forehead as he lowered his head.

Pfft! Clone of Eiffel tower!🙄

Snaking his arm around me, he pulled me flushed to his chest making me gasp.

We are fucking outside for god sake!!!

Wiggling in his arm, I placed my hand over his chest.

"Yuvraj! We're in the porch! Someone will see us!" I whisper-yelled with a glare.

He smirked and tightened his hold on me.

My poor waist and his tight arms!!

"Like I care!" He said smugly.

I huffed and looked behind his shoulder. I froze and my eyes widened.

"Dada!" I said.

Yuvraj's eyes widened and he removed his arm from me and made some space between us.

"I-i uh!" Stuttering he turned around.

I giggled and ran from there!

"MIAAA!" Screaming my name he chased me inside making me fun faster.

"YOU LITTLE BRAT! WAIT!" He said whilst running behind me.

I ducked under the workers who were carrying some bamboos and ran inside the kitchen.

"NO WAY!" I yelled.

I heard oomph and curses behind me so I turned my head to see Yuvraj laying down on Sahil. I stopped and turned around my whole body and laughed. Sahil was continuosly cursing Yuvraj.

"What the hell! Raj! Fucking get the hell away man! Someone will get the wrong idea!" Sahil cursed Yuvraj who was trying to get up from him but it was kinda hard because his watch was stuck in Sahil's shirt.

"Shut up Sahil! And you Mia! Just wait till I come!" Yuvraj threatened making me laugh more.

"Whoa! What a romantic scene!" Varun came from behind and wrapped an arm around my shoulder.

"Isn't it!" I said teasing Sahil and Yuvraj more.

"Damn! My virgin eyes!" Sam said entering the living room.

Armaan came from nowhere looking at his phone and stumbled upon Yuvraj's shoes. And finally fell on them making us laugh more.

"Someone else joined the romantic scene I see!" Varun said making Sam and me laugh more.

We all laughed and high fived. Unfortunately, Armaan, Yuvraj and Sahil were finally out of the mess and they stood up glaring at us. Our eyes widened as we sprinted off in different directions screaming for god, mum and who not to save us from these monsters behind us.

"DAAAAAD! MUMMMMAAA!" I screamed as I ran through the halls.

"NO ONE WILL SAVE YOU FROM ME TODAY MIA!" Yuvraj roared behind me making my eyes wide.

I ran more fast and sprinted off upstairs. I ran through the corridors whilst Yuvraj was still behind me. Till now I was breathing heavily. All of a sudden my foot slipped and a scream left my mouth. My eyes closed to fill the pain when I was falling on my face but instead I felt an arm goes under my stomach and steadied me. I looked down to see I was just two feets away from falling on my face. I turned around to see Yuvraj!

Awh! My knight in shining armour!

He was glaring at me. Smiling sheepishly I stood on my feet whilst smoothing down my dress.

Shit! I am caught now!

"Hehe! Y-yuvraj! I-i actually! I wa-was not g-going to make fun of yours you know! It was all because o- of-! Yeah it was all because of Varun! He made me do that!" I said stuttering.

I bit my tongue because of my stupidity. Sighing he raked his fingers through his hairs which were now messy. I can't help but gawk at him. He was looking damn sexy! He was wearing a skin tight black t-shirt with full sleeves which were tucked till his elbows, pairing it with blue denims and a pair of vans shoes. And damn! His muscles and abs were like, they'll burst out of the clothes anytime. And when he moved his hands it almost came out. Almost! When my eyes went back to his eyes, I gasped. This egoistic cocky boyfriend of mine was smirking at me.

"Like the view baby?" He asked huskily making me roll my eyes at him.

"No!" I said whilst crossing my arms infront of me.

"Awh! Lying isn't good babe!" He said smirking.

I rolled my eyes again and turned around to leave but someone had some different set of my mind as he wrapping his arm around my stomach pulled my back to his chest making me gasp.

"I really can't get enough of you! You're so addicting and now you've became my addiction! My dangerous addiction!" Yuvraj whispered huskily in my ear.

I felt goosebumps all over my body and I shivered.

"Are you cold baby or your body is liking this close proximity of me?" He asked cockily and I know he must be smirking behind me.

"I haven't seen such a self obsessed guy ever in my life! And no! It doesn't matter to me because i've been more close to other guys than this!" I lied the second line I said.

I felt him tense behind me and his grip on me tightened making me wince a little. I wiggled whilst digging my nails on his arm but he stood there like there's nothing bothering him. After sometime, I gave up. I turned my head a little around to see him but it only made me gasp. I saw his eyes are now in a dark shade and his jaws ticking. He is angry! So fucking angry!

"Y-yuvraj! W-what hap-happened?" I asked in a low tone.

Removing his hands off my waist, he took a hold of my hand and dragged me somewhere a bit harshly as I almost tripped over the carpet on the floor.

"Y-yuvraj! What are you doing and where are you taking me?" I asked but there was no response from him.

His hold on my wrist was now paining me but he didn't care at all! He just continued to drag me until we reached his room! Kicking the door open, he literally threw me inside catching me off-guard. Stumbling, I finally got my balance and wipe the hairs off my face which were now a little messy because of all the struggle and dragging. I jerked around when I heard a click sound to come face to face with his angry demeanour.

Okay! Now he is scaring me!!

Fisting his hands he took steps towards me making my breath hitched. My eyes widened when I saw his eyes full of anger and I took steps back.

"Y-yuv-yuvarj! You-you're scaring me!" I stuttered whilst fisting my dress.

Still no response came from him as he took steps towards me. I was profusely sweating. I bit my lips in nervousness and fright. I took steps back and back until the back of my knee hit something and I fell whilst a scream left my throat.

"AAAAHHHH!"

But to my surprise, it was just the bed so I landed my head softly on the mattress. I was about to get up when Yuvraj hovered over me making my eyes wide open. I tried to escape but he caged me as he put his hands on the both side of my head. His face was above mine and it didn't hold the love he has for me at all. He looked different so so different! It felt like he wasn't the Yuvraj I love.

"W-what are you doing Yuvraj?" I asked.

"Something I should have done before!" He said.

I gulped my fear and looked into his eyes.

"What do you mean?" I tried to appear strong but my voice came out cracking at the last.

"To warn you!" He said then paused in between.

"Who were the guys?" He asked.

I frowned in confusion.

"What are you talking about?" I asked still lying on the bed whilst he hovered over me.

He closed his eyes for sometimes, gritting his teeth. He opened his eyes again and gave me a Don't you dare to lie look.

"I am asking you again Mia and I want your honest answer this time! Who. Were. The. Guys. You. Went. Close. With!" He asked pressuring on every word he said.

"There was no guy who came too close like that Yuvraj! I was lying because I didn't want to accept the effect you have on my body! I am sorry!" I said lookin' down at his chest.

"Look at me!" He said.

I shook my head.

"I. Said. Look. At. Me. Mia!" He gritted out again.

Slowly taking my eyes up to his face, I finally looked into his eyes. He leaned more down towards me and our noses touched. There was just a little space between his and mine lips.

"There was no other guy before me right?" He asked whispering.

His breath fanned over my lips making my heartbeats faster than ever.

"Y-yeah!" I said.

"And there will not be any other guy for you except me too! I am the only one for you! Even if you stop loving me, I won't! You are mine and you will be mine forever! I will kill each of the guys who will try to snatch you away from me!" He said.

I froze at my place and stared at him in shock. He was behaving like a freaking caveman! And his possessiveness is sexy but hard to handle too! I don't know what to reply so I just nodded truthfully. I knew my heart loved him and I accept him and his every emotions. Even if it is his Possessiveness or obsession! It doesn't matter!

All of a sudden, I felt his lips on mine making me gasp in surprise but soon I responded back with equal emotions and passion. We made out for some time and then he pulled back. Getting off me, he hold out his hand infront of me. Placing my hand in his without any hesitation, he made me get up on my feet.

"Are you scared of me?" He asked out of blue making me froze at my place.

I looked down but he made me look into his eyes again by lifting my chin up.

"Never! I mean never look down! You are my Queen and queens doesn't look down! You will hold your head up always! Understand?" He asked.

I nodded.

"I am asking you again! Are you scared of me?" He asked.

"A-a little!" I said truthfully.

Yes, I was scared of him because of his behaviours towards me today which was a total opposite of his original behaviours. He behaved like a man who controls his partner in everyway. He behaved like a mad caveman who doesn't like to share his possession. He behaved like an obsessed lover who will stoop low to do anything for his lover. And I have never seen this side of him. So yeah, I was scared.

Wrapping his arms around me, he took me in a hug. He rested his chin on my head whilst I rested my head on his chest. I placed my hands on his chest where I felt his heartbeats. It was soothing and I felt safe in his arms. I know, he won't hurt me but the behaviour was unexpected that's why I got scared.

"You're mine Mia! And I didn't like it when you said that you were more closer to some guys before me! It made me mad that someone touched what belongs to me! I love you. You've become my everything. And you should know that I don't share!" He pulled back and looked into my eyes.

"And I won't share you ever! You're mine! Only mine!" He said seriously.

"You won't need to share me Yuvi! I love you and there was no one for me before and there will not be anyone for me. I promise!" I said lookin' into his eyes.

He looked at me sometimes then nodded. Smiling I pecked his lips and pulled back before he took me into another mind-blowing kiss. He groaned in return making me giggle.

"Bye! I need to go now!" I said.

He nodded and pecked my forehead. Waving at him, I left the room and closed the door behind me. I turned around to leave but my smile vanished seeing the person in front of me. It was no one other than Hina! She was glaring at me. And oh god! What was she wearing?!!

She is dressed like she is going to some club for party! But damn not! She is not! There are elder people in the palace including our parents! Is this a decent dress to wear infront of them?! Hell no!

"Eh! Hello?" I said and stepped aside to go back but stopped when I heard her.

"You shouldn't be with Yuvraj!" I frowned.

Turning around, I saw she was already staring at me with so much hatred and disgust whilst her hands were crossed infront of her. She tightened her cross making her breast pop out more from her dress making me cringe in disgust.

She is dressed up like she is going to party in a club when she isn't! And there are elder people here for god sake! What kind of a dress is this!!

"What do you mean?" I asked.

"What she mean is! You shouldn't be with me like my girlfriend! You should marry me ASAP! Isn't it Hina? So tell me baby, when should I bring the proposal again to your parents!" Yuvraj asked coming out from his room.

He came to my side facing Hina and wrapped his arm around my waist in a protective manner. Hina scoffed and left the place swaying her hips. I cringed again.

Oh god! What kind of a girl she is!!!

"What was that?" I asked him.

He frowned innocently.

"What was what meri jaan?" He asked in return making me huff in annoyance.

"Really Yuvraj?! I am asking about the proposal thing you told infront of Hina! Did you really have to say lies? And why did you say like that anyway?" I asked.

"What! No I didn't lie! I was telling the truth when I said that I and my family had already asked your hand for me in marriage and yeah you didn't know that because I denied your parents to share anything about this with you!" He said and to say I was shocked it would be an understatement.

First thing is my mum, dad hide this big thing from me which they didn't ever and the second is when did it happen and why I wasn't a part of this?

"When did this happen and how? Will you please explain me?" I asked.

He nodded.

"When I saw you for the first time in Singhania's mansion, I fell for you at the same moment! And I decided that if I will get married and settled with someone, then it will be you and only you! My parents were also pushing me for marriage from some months before. So I told them about my love for you and they were chuffed would be an understatement. They were so happy! So they and I talked to your parents, they agreed but they needed your approval too. And that's when I decided to win your heart!" He explained.

Wow! And I didn't have a single idea about all of this!

"You hide such a big thing from me! How can you? And how can mum, dad agreed to be with you in your plan?! I can't believe this. Who else knows?" I asked.

"About the marriage proposal, Duggu bhaiya, Priyanka bhabhi and chachu, chachi! And about my efforts to your heart, Sam, Sid and Varun knew about it!" He said.

Sam also?!

"Ugh! I am not going to talk to you all!" I said and stomped my foot before walking away.

Yuvraj called me but I didn't listen to him and went to my room. Opening the door with a bang which happened to startle Shree and Sam as they glared at me. I glared back at Sam making her gasp.

"What the hell? Why are you glaring at me like you will kill me with your eyes?" Sam asked.... sarcastically making me scowl.

Closing the door, I went to my bed and opened my laptop. I attended some of my patients on video call and after i was done I shut it off. I glanced at the clock to see it was already 04:15PM so getting up from the bed, I went to the closet and picked up a outfit. Wearing it on, I came outside.

Sam was painting her nails whilst Shree was talking on her phone and writing down something.

I came infront of the dressing mirror and applied a little makeup. Putting on slight amount of perfume, I brushed my hairs and rubbed some serum in my hairs. Wearing my bracelet and shoes, I went outside the room.

Descending down the stairs, I went outside the palace. The whole palace was getting decorated for the haldi ceremony tomorrow. I spotted Varun outside in the garden talking to someone on call.

That's when I remembered that he was also involved in Yuvi's plan. He noticed me and flashed me a smile but I scowled at him making him frown. Crossing my hands infront of me, I roamed around the garden.

"Why that face Mia?" Varun asked following me.

Huffing, I quickened my pace. They all hide such a big thing from me now I ain't gonna talk to any of them. Any. Of. Them! Flipping my hairs away, I took a glance at my behind to see Varun is not behind me anymore. I sighed in relief and turned back around only to yelp in shock. I jumped a little back in surprise and placed a hand on my heart which was beating like there is no tomorrow. I scowled at Varun who was grinning at me.

Idiot!

Ignoring him I changed my path and went towards my left.

"MIAA! CHIPKALIIIII!" Varun yelled making me scream!

Did I tell you how much I am scared of the lizards?! Oh my god, Don't even ask me about them! If there is a lizard, even a small one in a room, then no way in hell I will step inside that room. And if I saw a lizard in a room then I rush out of the room screaming! I kinda loathe them and despise their presence!

"AHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!"

Screaming I ran out of the garden and was running towards the porch whilst glancing at my back. All of a sudden, I bumped into someone making me panic more and I screamed out loud than before.

The person whom I bumped with hold my shoulders but my all attention was on the lizard Varun told me about so I kept on screaming with my closed eyes and tried to wiggled out of the arms holding me.

"Princess! Calm down!" A voice said but I didn't listen at all.

I was still screaming.

"AHHHHHHHHHHHH! CHIPKALIIII!"

"MIA! CALM DOWN!" I stopped screaming because of the thunderous voice.

I slowly peeked my eyes open to see it was dad.

"Dad!" I whispered and my lower lips trembled.

His eyes softened when he saw my eyes welling up with unshed tears. Without wasting another minute, I wrapped my arms around his torso.

That's how I was! Emotional all the time infront of my loved ones! My anger, my frustration, my frights, my happiness everything is used to turn into my tears after a little time. And it will come quicker, if I was infront of someone whom I loved.

"Shhh Princess! There's no lizard here! Calm down sweetie!" He cooed in my ears.

That's when I noticed Anil uncle and Dada with him by his both side looking at us with a small smile. Sniffing I buried my face in my dad's chest who cooed sweet words to me.

"What happened? Mia?!" I heard Yuvraj behind me but I didn't pull back.

"We don't know. She was running inside whilst screaming and bumped into us! And she screamed chipkali also so I think she must've seen some lizard. She is afraid of them!" Dada explained.

Dad pulled back and wiped my tears.

"Come here Princess!" Dada said forwarding his arms.

I went to dada and hugged him whilst he patted my hairs.

"Now tell me! What happened?" He asked softly.

"I was roaming in the garden when I noticed Varun there but I ignored him. So he followed me and asked me what happened! But I didn't respond. Then all of a sudden, he screamed that there is a lizard so I got scared and ran away from the garden and you know the rest!" I said.

"Varun! I will kill you today!" Yuvraj muttered under his breath loud enough for us to hear.

"Eh! Hey guys!" I looked behind to see Varun coming to us with a nervous smile.

"You children carry on! We've some important work to do! And Abhi, take care of Mia!" Dad said kissing my forehead.

"Of course! You don't need to tell me about it !" Abhi dada replied.

Dad nodded and went away with Anil uncle.

"Now! Varun, will you tell me why did you do that? And was there a real lizard or you just did it to scare her!" Dada asked glaring at him.

"Hehe-no! Actually! Abhi! Th-there wasn't any! She was ignoring me so I thought to pull her leg! It was just a innocent prank nothing more at all! And I genuinely didn't know that it will make her cry! I am sorry Mia!" Varun said looking at me with guilt.

I felt bad because of my emotional behaviours now he is getting all the scolds and glares from everyone. So I pulled back from dada and went to Varun who looked at me.

"I am sorry! It's just I get emotional a little quicker! I just panicked and when I saw dad, it made me cry! I am sorry Varun!" I apologized.

Varun shook his head and hugged me side wise.

"No Mia! I am sorry! I shouldn't have scared you!" He said.

"It's okay! But don't do that again okay! I don't like lizards and I am really scared of them!" I said.

"I won't! I promise! From now I will take care of you! Will you be my sister? I have always wanted a little sister! But my fate!" He said but stopped abruptly.

Smiling I nodded.

"Of course I would love another brother in my life!" I said making him grin.

"Hey! But I will be her favourite one always!" Dada said making us laugh.

Varun looked at Yuvraj and smirked.

"Why don't you also make her your sister?" Varun said.

Yuvraj's eyes widened and he charged at Varun who ran away.

"YOU! STOP FUCKER! I WILL KILL YOU TODAY!" Yuvraj roared whilst running behind Varun making me and dada laugh.

Coming out of the closet, I opened the pin making my hairs flow down all the way to my waist. I made my way towards the mirror and stood infront of it. It was the haldi ceremony today and one of the most important ritual in a hindu wedding.

Isn't it fun to smear turmeric paste on your bestie's face?! This is one of the most fun-filled Hindu pre-wedding rituals. It is also called as nalangu, ubtan, tel baan among other things. The bride and groom sit and let their relatives and friends smear haldi ( turmeric paste) on her/his face, legs, hands as they wish! Marking the beginning of good over evil, the haldi ceremony represents purity, prosperity and good health. It gives both the bride and the groom the glow on their special day. The haldi typically happens two to three days before the wedding in some places while others have this in the early hours on the day of the wedding. But we're holding it nine days before because there are so many functions in a typical punjabi wedding as both Sid and Shree are Punjabis.

So today the theme of our outfits will be yellow and white of course! And here I am wearing the beautiful yellow and gold outfit of mine which I bought from Mumbai.

I saw Sam coming outside from the extra bathroom in the room. I was still angry on them and haven't talked to any of them including my parents from last day. Excluding Varun, as I made up with him and I got another brother. Yipppeee! Note the sarcasm please. You don't know how hard it is to bear brothers especially when they are more than one. I know dada from the day I was born and I know how much overprotective he can be! And now I have got Varun too as my brother! He has started to behave as a very overprotective big brother! Damn my life!

Shaking my head off the thoughts, I sat on the stool. Sam cleared her throat behind me making me cock my eyebrows at her. She rolled her eyes.

"Ugh stop with that anger of yours now Mia! I told you I am sorry!" She said.

Narrowing my eyes I said.

"You should've thought about it before hiding such a big thing from me Samy! And I am not forgiving any of you!" I said huffing whilst I picked up my brush.

"Come on Ri! I am saying sorry babes! Forgive me this time, I won't repeat it ever j swear!" Sam said with puppy eyes.

Damn! Her puppy eyes!!

Sighing I nodded. Her eyes brightened at the moment and she squealed out loud and jumped in her place making me laugh at her childish behaviours. She came and hugged me from behind shaking the hell out of me.

"Thank you thank you thank you thank you so much babes! I promise I won't hide anything from you now!" She promised kissing my cheek again and again, ruining my makeup.

I scowled and pushed her back and again did my makeup.

"God! You and your kisses! Remind me, why am I friends with you?" I asked.

She shoot me her most wide grin.

"Because you love me babe!" She said smirking.

I groaned and continued my makeup.

"Let me do your hair today!" She said taking the comb from the table.

I nodded and put the brush back. She combed my hair after rubbing some serum on my hairs. An thought came to my mind so I smirked and coughed. Sam cocked her eyebrow at me in a questioning way.

"What?" She asked.

"So! You promised not to hide anything from me now, remember?" I asked.

"Of course! It happened just now, remember?" She said sarcastically in a duh tone.

I rolled my eyes but regretted when she pulled a strand of my hair painfully.

"Ouch! Sammm!" I whined but she smirked.

I huffed out.

"So you were saying?" She asked.

"Umm yeah! You promised to not hide anything from me! So now tell me honestly, what do you think of Maan?" I asked.

She looked surprised for a moment but cleared her throat.

"About Maan? Why?" She asked me in reply making me groan.

"Ugh! Will you tell me or not?" I asked.

"Okay fine! Calm down tigress! Um so yeah! I think he is an idiot, stupid, cocky-!" She stopped when I shoot her a glare challenging her to say another word.

She nervously giggled.

"Hehe! No i mean! Yeah he is a good human being but still he is so cocky and self obsessed. He is handsome and smart but a stupid too! He is genuine and honest but a playboy too! But Why are you asking about how I think of him all of a sudden?" She asked frowning.

I smirked. So there is something in here too! Awesome! The fire is from both of the sides!! *Mental claps*

"Eh! Now why are you smirking like that? You know what, you shouldn't be spending much time with my brother, you're being like him! Smirking and glaring all the time!" Sam said.

I rolled my eyes.

She is true though! This is all the affects of his company!!

"Shut up! Are you done?" I asked.

"Yeah! Here you go!" She pinned the floral pin and smiled.

"Thank you bae! It's beautiful!" I said.

"I know!" She said smirking and patting hers shoulder making me roll my eyes.

She sat beside me and did her makeup whilst I did mine. After sometime we both were done so we got up to check on Shraddha. Soon when we got up, Shree came wearing her beautiful yellow coloured lehenga with pink coloured dupatta.

"Wow!" Sam and I said in unison.

"Man! You're looking beautiful Shree! Sid will be flat by seeing you today!" Sam said.

Shree blushed and flipped us off. We laughed and made her sit on the stool. Soon the makeup artists and hairstylist came who were assigned by Sid. And we all made Shree ready for her haldi.

10:30AM IST

I descended down the stairs with Sam. There were two haldi bowls in our hands, one with her and another in mine. We went to the temple in the palace. The haldi bowl was full of turmeric, rose water and rose petals. I saw mum, Madhuri aunty, Mahira aunty, Rani maa and Twinkle aunty there. Flashing them a smile, we put the bowls in front of the idols. The pandit ji did some puja and put some turmeric paste from both of the bowls on the idol's feet. After the puja, Mahira aunty took the bowls and we went back upstairs to bring Shree.

"Let's go Shree!" I said entering the room.

Then we headed downstairs and went to the backside of the palace. The place was decorated with yellow and white flowers along with golden fairy lights. Yeah it's the morning, but still they looked so bright and it made the place look more beautiful than before.

We sat her beside Sid on the couch under the flowers and lights decorated place. They exchanged glances and smiled at eachother. They both looked so in love. Sid took Shree's hand in his and kissed her knuckles making all of us awe. I was suddenly missing Yuvraj so I looked around. I found everyone but not him. I even found Hina by Mahira aunty's side. And don't even ask me what was she wearing!

I was searching through the people but I couldn't find him. It made me a little upset.

Where is Yuvraj?

"Don't need to look so upset!" A voice came from my back and whispered into my ear making me jump in my place.

I turned around to see Yuvraj and he was looking down at me with a grin. I saw he was wearing a white kurta and pants.

He was looking damn handsome! And I can't stop but ogle at his body.

"Like what you see?" He asked with a smirk making me blush.

Blushing I turned around ignoring him. He came to my side and hold my hand in his that too infront of everyone. Glaring I struggled to snatch my hand from his. But he didn't let my hand go so I huffed and let it be. He caressed my hand with his thumb.

"Do you know that you're the most beautiful girl on earth?" He whispered in my ear.

I blushed but composed myself and turned to him. I gave him a sarcastic grin whilst tilting my head making him look at me amusingly but soon dropped my grin after a moment and turned around. I was still angry at him for hiding things from me and I have no plans to forgive him anytime soon.

"Are you still angry baby?" He asked.

I didn't answer and kept my head ahead towards Sid and Shree who were now getting their face, hands and legs with the turmeric paste. I heard him sigh and then he pecked my knuckles. Intertwining our fingers he also looked ahead.

Then after some people, the friends of bride and groom went to smear the turmeric paste and so did we. I smeared the turmeric paste on both of their faces whilst Yuvraj literally bathed Sid with the paste. Sid couldn't help but curse him making all of us laugh.

"Attention guys! So the bride's bestfriends have made a special surprise performance for her! And I am presenting you me, Mia and Samaira!" Armaan announced.

We have him a thumbs up and got our positions beside him.

After our performance, Shree was grinning at us. Grinning back we shared a hug and went back to our places whilst everyone clapped for us.

"You were so good baby! But I didn't like it when he touched you!" Yuvraj whispered in my ear making me roll my eyes.

He then pecked my cheek. I smiled but didn't show him as I turned my head away.

After sometime, the ceremony was over and we took Shree back to our room for her to take a shower.
