Justin is different.

He never told me what happened during his mission, but whatever it was, it changed him.

He's... depressed. He doesn't eat, he doesn't sleep. He hardly ever showers. He constantly makes sure I'm near him. If he is laying in bed, I'm laying with him. If he is taking a shower, I'm sitting on the toilet waiting for him, just like the other night.

I try to convince him, to get better. I need him to eat, to busy himself so that I can map out my escape. I think that by now I have him convinced, but I need to be alone if I want to get out of here.

I sigh, climbing back into bed next to Justin, I just finished taking a shower. "Hey, Justin," I whispered to him, his eyes were closed, but he was awake.

He opened his eyes and smiled. He wrapped his arms around me and rested his chin on my head. "Hey baby girl, how are you doing?"

"We all know I'm fine Justin, I should be asking you this," I mumbled into his chest.

He sighed, "I know Sel. I'm sorry, I'm just not in the mood for anything but you." He kissed the top of my head.

"Justin... you're not going to be here with me much longer if you don't eat," I told him. He didn't respond, and when I looked up at him he was deep in thought.

"Justin, I'll be right back okay?" He mumbled an okay before I got out of his arms and ran downstairs. All of the guys were in black suits and Kyle came and gave me one.

"Are we ready?" I asked them.

"Let's go." They all replied. We all jumped into Chaz's van and he drove us to the warehouse that the mission was held at. The boys tell me about what had happened during the mission and that we are going to see if there are any clues as to what happened to Jaxon before he died, or where the rest of the rival gang is.

When Chaz told me about going with them, I thought that there would be no way. I was scared, terrified. I knew something bad happened, what if that something happened to me? Chaz told me a couple of days ago that this would be good for Justin, he would be scared to see me gone with them and hopefully get out of his room and back into the swing of things. I knew that he was right and that I needed to grow a pair of balls if I ever wanted to get away from this gang.

Anyway, after about a 20-minute drive, we pull up to what looked like an old cheese factory. "You guys sure this is the right spot?" I asked them.

"Yep. It is disguised as an out of business cheese factory so police won't come and search it." Ryan told me.

I nodded and we made our way around to the back of the building. We all jumped through a window that was like 5'5 off the ground, which didn't really work out for me since I'm 5'2.

"Come on, I'll pull you up," Mike said while laughing.

I stuck my tongue out and grabbed his hands while he pulled me up with one tug and helped me through the window, careful not to get a scratch on me.

I smiled as a thank you and started to follow behind Chaz, but Mike kept a hold of my hand.

He intertwined our fingers and started to rub his thumb over my knuckles to get my attention. I just ignored it and kept walking. He chuckled, knowing I was purposely ignoring him.

We kept walking in through the dead bodies, me trying not to look at any of them until we reached a door that was knocked down. Mike left me outside the room and told me to stay there in case anything is planted. I just nodded while he began to walk through the doors. After a few moments, he turned and motioned me in with his fingers, closing the door behind me.

"Is this where Jaxon was killed?" I questioned as I looked around the room. I saw a puddle of blood but nobody in the otherwise spotless room.

All the guys were looking at a computer screen. I couldn't see what they were looking at because I was stuck behind Jordan, his hand had found its way back into mine. "He is over there," Kyle said pointing to an empty spot.

"Nothing is there." I replied back.

"Are you blind Selena? He is RIGHT THERE. Shut up so we can find the rest of the gang." Chaz said. He is usually the nice one.

"Aye man don't talk to her like that." Mike hissed.

"Shut it Mike. You got the poor girls hand in a death grip, and as soon as Justin finds out, you're dead." He replied back. Mike just rolled his eyes at the statement and they all looked back at the computer screen.

"Mike?" I whispered.

He whipped his head around to look at me, "Yea, princess?" He asked me. I shifted uncomfortably.

Princess?

Ignoring the comment I point to the blood spot, "Jaxon really isn't there. Look." I told him. Straight face. All seriousness.

He raised an eyebrow, "Would it make you happy if I turned around and looked?" He asked me, teasingly. I nodded, "Well baby he is right th-" He stopped talking when he realized I was telling the truth. "Where is he?" He asked us.

All the guys looked up and rushed over to the spot. Ryan picked up the bullet that was covered in 'blood'. "It's not a real bullet. It was designed to make it look like he died. JAXON ISN'T DEAD." Ryan shouted. All of our jaws dropped. What? How? Justin said he saw him get shot...

"COME ON. HE HAS THAT TRACKER ON HIS CELL PHONE, WE HAVE TO FIND HIM." Mike yelled, "Come on babe." He dragged me out of the room and outside to the van, making sure I was in before sliding in next to me.

When we arrived home I was pushed through the front door. "Go upstairs to Justin, he is probably wondering where you are," Mike told me. I take of my suit, revealing my clothes. He smiled, "That's my beautiful girl." he replied before pecking my cheek and shooing me up the stairs.

Mike scares me sometimes. He is a total creep. But I'm going to use this as an advantage to me.

I opened the door to see Justin actually out of bed, pacing. He looked at me and ran to me. He hugged me close to his chest. "Oh my god baby girl. Where did you go?! I heard the doors close and no more voices for an hour! "

I was confused. If he was worried why didn't he come looking for me? I just shrugged and asked, "Do you think you can eat now?"

He looked at me and sighed shaking his head. "Selena, where did you go? You were gone forever," He said, changing the subject.

"We, um, we went to the warehouse. Where you guys did the mission." I whispered.

"You what?" He yelled angrily.

"Justin, I have good news," I told him, trying to calm him down with a smile. "Jaxon is alive," I tell him.

"W-what?" He stutters.

"Well we wen-" I try to explain but he cuts me off.

"I'm going to go talk to Chaz." He says. He looked like he was in shock but I could still see his anger deep down. I do not know how my plan will ever work out. Going on the mission worked, he is already leaving his room for the first time in weeks. However, he doesn't listen to me. What I say goes in one ear and out the other, I need a new plan.

After a few minutes of thinking, my mind wanders back to Mike and how he was all over me tonight. Maybe I could use him to my advantage.

I walked myself down the stairs and sat on the couch, like bait, waiting for the fish to come along. "Hey, I thought you were with Justin?" I smirked and turned around to see Mike.

I shook my head, "He is being too difficult to handle right now." I replied, trying to act sad.

He walked over to me and picked me up before sitting me on his lap. His wrapped his arms tightly around me, "I can always make you feel better baby girl." He whispered in my ear. I looked at him, not understanding until he smashed his lips on mine. I was shocked at first, not expecting the kiss. I finally came to the conclusion that this is my chance to take advantage of the situation. He pulled away and sighed when he realized I wasn't kissing him back, but I put my hands behind his head and pulled him into another kiss.

He smiled when I kissed him and turned me so I was straddling him. His kisses started to get hungrier, so he moved his lips to my jawline, kissing down my neck. "I love you, way more than Justin does, trust me, babe. I'll treat you better than he ever would." He whispered in my ear before kissing it.

I sighed, knowing the sooner I did it, the sooner I could get it over with.

"I know you would. I love you too." I whispered before cupping his cheeks and kissing him, convincing him.
