'Yah! I'm not a killer!' You looked at him with disbelief.

'Y/N, take it. Please for me.'

You sighed, 'fine.'

'Good girl.' He patted your head, as your eyes widen from his sudden remark.

Did he just compliment me?

You sat playing with Yeontan when Jungkook came in with a bouquet of assorted flowers.

Jungkook ━

I gave these flowers to her avoiding eye contact and cleared my throat trying not to sound awkward, 'I don't want it.' I tried to sounding cold.

She looked at me confused.

'Why on earth would you buy flowers you don't want?'

'Well, t-they were on sale.' I lied.

'Fine, I'll take them, thanks.' She hummed her way to find a vase to place the flowers in.

She really did mess up your mind for good Jungkook. But to be honest, it feels good. I don't want to regret it.

He smiled to himself.

Third person ━

You went out to buy the grocery with the guards meanwhile, the members decided to have a lunch over at Jungkook's.

'Yah! Jungkook-ah! Why so serious looking at your phone?' Jin blurted out.

However, Jungkook didn't reply, and continued to focus on when Hoseok snatches his mobile making him wide eyed.

'Yah hyung! Give it back!' He protested as the rest of the members held him back.

'How to make a girl like you; How to know if you're in love; How to give flowers to a girl; things to buy the girl you like; pick up lines to make you look cool.' Hoseok starts reading Jungkook's search history while the other members try to hold their laughter.

'Hyung!' Jungkook was at loss of words.

'Seriously Jungkook? You? In love? That Chen was right all the time then? Why are you such a hopeless romantic?' Jin tried to speak through his laughs.

Then Hoseok's loud laugh fills the room, 'Men's perfume to seduce girls, Jungkook really? Like really?'

'Everyone out!' Jungkook shouts unable to hide his embarrassed face while everyone exit trying to hold in their laughs.

'Dude, just tell her.' Jimin patted his shoulder and left.

After the members left, I thought about what Jimin hyung said, to just tell her.

Third person ━

You got back carrying the groceries when Yeontan came running to you barking being excited to see you home.

'Aww hey Yeontan.' You kissed and pet him as Jungkook continued to glare.

She's mine, you're nothing but fur with short, stubby legs. Jungkook said underneath his breath.

The heck Jungkook? What has got into you? A pup? Really? Am I really that big of a hopeless romantic? I'm supposed to act tough.

'What did you say?' you asked.

'What? I didn't say anything, oh, by the way, Y/N?'

'Yes?' You turned back to him.

'I accidently reserved two seats at this fancy restaurant and I can't-'

'I would love to go with you.' You cut him off and smiled.

He tried not to smile but was happy within.

But then she did something which made me and my mind halt its tracks. She hugged me.

It was so warm and safe. I felt like I had someone and that was a feeling I last had when my mom hugged me, and after she left, it was like a whole new experience once again with Y/N.

Third person ━

As you pulled away from the hug, he tightened his grip on you.

'Can I hug you a little longer?' You nod your head and he smiled.

Then his gaze moved to Yeontan as he stuck his tongue out. 'She's mine, so back off!'

Jungkook sat in the living room waiting for you. After sometime, he hears the door open and sees you making him sit straight.

'Well, how do I look?' You fixed your gaze at Jungkook who seemed to be struggling with words.

'Hello? Earth to Jungkook!' You waved your hands in front of him.

He snaps out of his thoughts and clears his throat, 'Y/N, you look a-'

Before he could finish, Yeontan came barking in asking for attention.

'Aish! You little, Y/N, let's go.' Jungkook grabs your arm and pulls you with him.

'But Jungkook, wai-'

'No! Let's go.' He cuts you off.

'Woah!' You were in awe as your eyes moved through the architectural design that was mixed with traditional along with the modernism to fit all people's tastes.

Jungkook looked at you and smiled. He loved seeing you happy and he'll do whatever it takes to keep it that way. A few weeks ago, he would have never imagined that he had a caring side to himself or maybe he could ever love anyone, but since the day he met you at the convenience store, as if, it was all destined.

You both found your seats and settled in as the waiter handed you the menus. However, when the waiter handed you yours, he rather looked at you in a peculiar way.

Jungkook noticed this.

'You can leave now.' He spoke in a cold tone, but you didn't notice as you were busy reading the menu.

'Jungkook, can I order anything?' You asked shyly.

He nodded and gave you a smile which you haven't seen before. You looked back at the menu but the price made your eyes widen, '180$ for a dish! Jungkook, should we eat somewhere else?'

He chuckled at your reaction, 'It's fine Y/N, everything's on me anyway.'

You guys ordered and the waiter brought them out. Jungkook kept his eyes on him.
You sat up straight but in doing so, your bag fell and while the waiter picked it up, he slid a note along the way.

You read it and there it was. One night stand ?

Jungkook caught a glimpse and stood up with rage in his eyes. You held him trying to prevent a scene. You snaked your arm around his ear and whispered, 'I got this.'

If it was someone else, he would have long forgotten about their words and took matters himself but somehow you made him give up his whole self so easily to you.

You turned around and went towards the waiter. 'You know what asshole? The world is full of guys like you. Sarcastic narcs who think they'll get every girl in bed. You're not unique at all. You're just one pretentious bastard feeding off their ego. I'm sick of seeing guys like you, supposedly 'damaged from the past' so they stop believing in monogamy. Well, tell that little itch in your pants to find another place to work, because I'll make sure that you won't be able to harass any other woman here! Consider yourself unemployed! ' You whispered the last part, as everyone around started laughing at the waiter, forcing him to leave while some clapped at your remark.

You turned back to Jungkook and smiled.

'Wow! That was badass. I didn't know you had such a side like that.' You chuckled.

'Thanks Jungkook, and I mean it, thank you for trusting me.'

'If it wasn't for you, I would have killed him.' He scoffed.

'I know.' You looked at him fondly.

'Stop!' He suddenly blurted out.

'Huh?'

'Stop with that look, the look which makes me wanna pull you close to me and never let go.'

'J-Jungkoo-'

'No, listen to me carefully. Ever since that night you took care of me, I've had this feeling like I want to protect you, that I just want you to stay beside me at all the times, like I wanna give my whole self to you. And who am I kidding? A guy like me who's not suppose to feel emotions, is searching things on Google like how to get a girl. Pathetic right? But you made me so confused Y/N-'

'Is that why we're here right now? Why you gave me a puppy? Why you rescued me? Why you gave me flowers and pretended like you didn't want them? And- and why you wanted me to forget about, Mark?'

He just nodded. 'I just want you to be happy, because it looks good on you.'

'Wow! Am I now being completed by the king himself?' You tried to lighten up the atmosphere that was getting tensed.

But instead, he came closer to you as he spoke in a serious, yet hopeful tone,

'No, the man is in front of this girl, asking her to complete him by being his queen.'
