PHOR~

It's 6am and here I am finishing up this next verse. I stopped writing the past few weeks because I had to get settled with my Family and be there to help with the shops since Ryan was at the hospital everyday. I prayed everyday for my cousin she's my second mom, the reason me and ryan refer to ourselves as brothers and not cousins. Watching someone in the hospital everyday knowing that there is nothing you can do hurts man. It really does. I'm just happy Malayah was with him every step of the way she was the only person keeping him calm because man if this would've happened while we were younger I know he would be out here doing dumb shit just like I was when my pops passed.

Since this happened our operation was put on hold. I mouthed the words that I wrote down and tapped the pen. Damn! I was beat and was about to head to sleep. I went out on the balcony and lit up a blunt, been living here for damn near three years and London still didn't want me smoking inside. I only respect it because of the kids.

The sun was coming up and I rubbed my over my face, I wasn't stressed I was just tired. I looking at my phone and at the date and cursed to myself. I forgot today was Easter Sunday. I know Londn is about to go all out today. She likes to invite everybody over and cook a big dinner. I'm not saying I didn't like that tradition but I'm saying I'm tired I don't wanna see these folks.

The door slid open and London came out wearing one of my shirts.

"Why you up so early" I asked her ashing the blunt

"I could ask you the same, you know it's easter we gotta be up early"

"Nah you gotta be up early" I laughed.

she rolled her eyes and sat down "But on a serious note I gotta tell you something" she looked sad

I put the blunt out "You pregnant?"

She nodded and looked down

Damn definitely not ready for another.

"Nah im kidding" she laughed

"Come on stop playing like that London"

"No but seriously Josiah and Bri are here in chicago and... I kinda want you to talk to Josiah. Bri told me something about him not being honest and I know he isn't going to listen to me"

"London he not a little kid he grown if he wanna lie to his wife let him. That's not your business"

She scrunched her face up at me and left off the balcony "Whatever"

I scratched my head in confusion because I don't think I did anything wrong it was the truth Josiah smarter than me he obviously know whatever he is doing with his wife.

I brushed it off and went to go lay down I needed some sleep before this celebration start.

MALAYAH~

"You sure you wanna go?" I looked at ryan through my vanity mirror.

"Yeah im good" he mumbled.

I wanted to reply and say let's just stay home but we haven't been out the house in almost two weeks now. I wanted to get some new scenery other than the grocery store or the kid's schools.

I applied my setting spray and went to go slip on my clothes. I pulled the dress down over my full stomach and rubbed it lately I've been in a little pain but I called my doctor and expressed it. They said everything should be fine and if I felt it again I could come in.

Imani came in the room with her shoes in her hand and walked over to ryan. Without saying anything she held her shoes up at him so he could put them on for her. To not know many words she was very bossy. Ryan put her on his lap and put on her shoes once he was done she hugged him. He hugged her tight the same way he did to me while we were on the steps.

"Is everyone ready? I'm hungry" Jayden came into the room complaining.

"You ate breakfast and you are still hungry?" I asked and slipped on my shoes.

"That was like a hour or two ago I need some more food im a big boy now"

"Ohh well excuse me then big boy"

Once we got to Phor's and London's house I felt great being outside again. Seeing friends and family it felt like we were inside more than two weeks.

London rubbed my stomach and closed her eyes "Ummm I think it's a girl"

I shook my head "It's enough girls in our household and baby girl is really starting to get bossy"

"just like her mother" London whispered

"Shut up! I've calmed down a lot don't you agree"

"Mmm right" we laughed but we heard shouting by the balcony

I ran out behind London to see who it was. Surprisingly it was Josiah beating up one of Phor's friends im guessing because I had never seen him before.

"What the fuck you say about my wife dawg" Josiah's fist was now red and covered in the dudes blood as he continued punching him in the face.

"Baby stop!" Bri screamed and Ryan and Phor struggled to get Josiah off of him.

London stood there with her eyes wide "Oh my god OKAY everybody out!!" she opened the door and started motioning her hand out the door as people started leaving. I went to the back room where the kids were and peaked through the door London's younger cousin was watching the kids. She was in nursing school and spent most of her family time studying. So it was great that she volunteered to watch the kids. I slowly closed the door and started walking back down the hallway but the pain in my stomach was excruciating. I stopped and put my hand on the hall to keep my balance. I felt the pain again and screamed.

"Layah what's wrong?" Jayden peaked his head out the door looking scared

The pain was so unbearable I couldn't talk. London's cousin came out the room and tried to help me up. I felt so weak I couldn't stand up straight and felt nauseous.

"What Happened!" I heard Ryan's voice coming down the hall but I couldn't see his face. It's like my body was drifting off into another world. I closed my eyes and fell into the darkness.
