MALAYAH~
I stayed up all night and damn near morning waiting on Ryan to come back. I was currently in the living room of our suite talking to London.

"But Malayah do you have feelings for Dre?"

"I mean we are close friends, he's shown me so much that Ryan hasn't, I just don't know London maybe I do like him a little"

"Well then you need to tell Ryan that"

I laughed "You want me to tell someone who makes people disappear that I like another man"

"Well then, if yall are single it shouldn't be a problem for him, enjoy yourself but not too much"

I drank my cup of coffee and sat back on the couch "You're right, we are single, we just live together as of last night"

"Keep the kids the main priority and I think living together isn't going to work if you're going to be talking to dre"

I nodded I know "I'll look for my own apartment right now"

I heard the door open and close, Ryan walked right past us without saying anything.

"Hello to you too, rude ass" London said

"Wassup London" he said dryly and went into the bathroom to take a shower. I stood up and went into the bedroom and checked for his phone. He had a notification message from Kiara. I tried to unlock it but the passcode was changed, I was hurt because his passcode was my birthday. I took the phone into the living room sitting on the couch

"Whats wrong now"

"I went to check his phone and he changed his passcode from my birthday and a message from kiara but I cant read it" I sat on the couch until he came out of the bathroom. After a few minutes I thought he would've looked for his phone but instead he went to sleep.

I got up from the couch "iight I wanna argue" I went into the room and shook him out of his sleep "Ryan why you change your passcode"

"I was tired of the old one had to get a new one, you know how that goes" he said bluntly.

"What is that supposed to mean? and why is this bitch texting you, are you fucking her"

He sighed and closed his eyes again

"Are you!?"

"Yup im fucking her, anymore questions"

Tears were now streaming down my face because how did we get to this point.

"The whole time we have been together I've never cheated on you, but the first time we become single for two minutes you go out and fuck some other girl" he didn't respond he just stared at me "Ryan say something, how could you?!"

"It's nothing to say Malayah you brought this on to yourself go cry to your new nigga" He got out of bed and went into the closet leaving me just standing there looking stupid.

I followed him into the closet and seen him putting his stuff back into his suitcase. "You have me so fucked up Ryan, I really hate you right now!" I said hitting his chest.

"It was a one night stand,chill Malayah. You said it yourself last night that we single right" he looked at me waiting for my answer

"Right" I sniffled.

"Okay so im doing what a single person does, don't take it person I still love the fuck out of you but as of right now this is my chance to do what I want. Im still there for you and the kids so don't worry" He closed his suitcase and grabbed his phone out my hand "Thank you don't forget the flight leaves in four hours" he walked past me and got back into the bed.

I stood in the closet and called Dre "Can you meet me somewhere I really need someone to talk to"

"Sure, send me a location" I grabbed my shoes and left out the closet

"Fucking cheating bastard" I said as I walked past the bed

If he can do what he wants, then that gives me the right to go do what I want.

KIARA~

We were finally home and all I wanted to do was get some sleep. This morning I was flooded with questions about what happened last night, of course I didn't really tell them everything that happened I think the only person who knew what really went down was Ria because she stayed up all night smoking with Phor and was also woke to see Ryan leaving my room.

Ria and I shared a place together so after we showered and got settled in she decided to come into my room and watch a movie with me

she brought wine so I knew she wanted to gossip.We were only 4 minutes into the movie she chose before she looked at me and smiled.

"Soo was it good?" she laughed

"Riaaa we are supposed to be watching the movie"

she rolled her eyes "Right"

I paused the movie "Okay fine, yes it was more than good it was amazing actually the best I ever had" I said

"Ouuuu bitchh I cannot believe you right now"

"I know I know but he told me he was stressed and broke up with his girl because she was talking to some other guy" I shrugged

"Oh well if he's single then it's okay, but take into consideration if you think about ever getting serious with him that he still has to be around his babymama, I mean guys can say one thing and do another"

"Yeah that's right but for now I just want to keep it calm and see what happens"

She took a sip of her wine "Okay I understand definitely don't want another heartbreak"

"Mhm but umm what happened with phor, you know he's married" I said pointing my finger at her

"Girl nothing, we literally just vibed all night and smoked I seen it as nothing much, didn't want to come on to him or anything just had a good time. I could actually see us becoming good friends"

"Good friends my ass, you know his wife is friends with malayah and if she comes for you then im coming for her" We laughed together.

My phone started to ring and I seen it was Ryan

"Girl that lil pussy got some power, he calling you already" Ria started laughing

"Shut up" I waved her off and answered the phone

"Heyyy" I said smiling

"Whats up I was just making sure you got home safe" his deep voice made my body melt

"Yeah im home just watching a movie with ria and drinking wine for the night, is everything all good with you"

"Yeah Im at my shop right now, haven't even went home yet"

"Wow a hardworking man I love it, just make sure you're not standing too long on your left leg, you still have alot of improvement with it"

"Yeah I know these pain pills are helping though"

"I bet"

the line was silent for a while

"when.." we both said in unison and I laughed

"I guess I will see you on our next appointment this week"

"You know you could see me before, let me know your schedule and i'll come take you out"

"Okay I will"

"Well let me finish this work, I just wanted to check on you goodnight"

"Goodnight handsome" I blushed as I hung up

Ria stared at me throughout our whole conversation "Mmmm girl you better slow down, you don't know if he is really done with that girl "

"I am Ria trust me"

MALAYAH~
The sleep I had last night was magnificent. On our way home from Houston I figured i'll play Ryan's little games, I just had to be a better player which was going to be so hard because I was deeply in love with him. I regretted even saying I wanted to be single but at the moment that is the way I felt . So I rented out me a condo big enough for Imani and I and I also had an extra room for Jayden whenever he wanted to come which I knew would be everyday.

I was still in the process of moving so I dropped the kids off at London's and moved my things out of Ryan's house. I was moving my last box of things when I looked up at our night stand and there was a picture of me and him. I scoffed and flipped the picture down. I know this would be the best thing for us and Im actually willing to take this time to work on me and maybe get into a better relationship but as of now im focused on the kids, running the other shop and growing as a woman.

"whew" I sat the box down on the floor as I took my set of keys off the ring and set it on the dinning room table. I went to open the front door and before I could open it Ryan came in.

"I left your key on the table" I said not giving any eye contact

"Where you staying at now Malayah?" he grabbed my arm and I pushed away from him.

"Why?"

"I just wanna know"

"Don't worry about it, you'll find out when I need you to come get Imani"

He put his hands up in defense "Alright, just was asking a question. I just want you to remember you're the one that wanted to be single soo don't take it out on me"

I held the box in my hand and closed my eyes for a few seconds. "Goodbye Ryan, Jayden can stay with me for the weekend I will bring him back sunday night" I walked to my car and put the box in the backseat.

I drove off and headed to go get the kids. Once I arrived at London's house I texted her and she brought the kids outside. I strapped them in and she came over to the driver side window.

"Are you okay"

I hadn't even realized I was crying, I quickly wiped my face

"Yes I'm good, thanks for asking"

"You know I will be over Sunday as soon as we get back from this interview, I love you and stay strong Layah"

"Thanks London I love you more"

she went back into her building and I drove off to my new condo, we had designated private parking spots, which made it easier for me to move my stuff in. Once we were settled in I showed the kids their rooms which were not completed yet but they didn't care they ran in and went to play.

After I showered and went through a few of my boxes I ordered us a pizza because I didn't feel like cooking. As we sat at the table I was bombarded with questions about the new house and thankfully I already thought out answers to them. I put the kids to bed and went into my room and sat on the edge of the bed scrolling through my phone, I checked my instagram and noticed I had a new follow request from some chick named RiaLoves, after I accepted her and went through her profile which was public I put two and two together and it hit me that she was Kiara's friend. I laughed and sent it to london.

Imani walked into my room rubbing her eyes and I sat my phone down and picked her up. "What's wrong princess?"

"I miss daddy"

I held her closer to me and kissed the top of her head

"I know baby, me too"
