I met Josiah the same day I quit the club ever since then I damn near was in love. Despite him being 21 and me being 24 we were meant to be together. When we first started dating I thought having a kid would be a turn off to him. But after him seeing how bad Nahmir treated me and how good of a mother I am, Josiah treated jr. like he was his own.

The night I moved out of Nahmirs house it was the biggest fight I've ever been in. With him being so abusive I couldn't take it anymore that was my last sign from god to show me that I needed to leave his ass. And that's what I did ever since then his dead beat ass hasn't asked about Jr, sent money, or even pulled up to see him. I've seen he has a new girlfriend on Instagram. Typical.But that's fine I've finally completed cosmetology school and I've had so many people booking with me since then. The money I was now bringing in was more than I made at the club and honestly I was excited with the progress I made I finally had the family and life I wanted.

"Ryannn wake up" I shook his body. I'm not understanding how he was so tired, we only had two rounds of sex and I was ready for round 3.

Body and walked into the bathroom. I started to shower Today we were having dinner with London and her family. London's family and my family were close so I wasn't a stranger to them. After showering and throwing on my two piece skirt set I went back into the room "I'm about to go check on London, so please get ready because you move like a old man once it comes down to being dressed and on time"

2 hours later

We were all at the dinner table at some fancy restaurant that London picked. Phor, Ryan, London and I were the only ones at the table right now and we were about 4 shots in. Nothing but laughs and jokes the vibe at the table was everything.

"Momm" London got up running to her mom. I know she missed her since she moved to LA they were a long distance away. Seeing them interact made me think about my parents. They were so busy when I was growing up that I hardly had time to make a bond with them like regular kids did. That is what pushed me to always being with London and her family who openly accepted me.

"Lay Lay" Mama Bee came running over to me. She was the only person to nick name me LayLay and I loved it. "In my family he give out hugs, hand shakes is for the fakes" We all laughed and mama bee turned to Phor as he stood up. "You must be phor, London told me about you.. how did my daughter get so lucky" she hugged phor tight

Josiah walked up with a toddler in his hand leaving me confused

Josiah's mom stood "Let's just have a regular dinner right now! I'm hungry" I walked to her extending my hand out "Hi I'm bri" she hugged me "Hey I heard so much about you too sweetie" I smiled the hard part was over meeting his mom was my main focus tonight now for London and Malayah we can go outside and handle it.

The table was pretty much quiet only forks and chewing were heard at the table

"Soooo are all of y'all from Texas" this guy sitting next to Malayah asked

Everybody nodded except me
"Nah I'm from Atlanta"
"Okay A-town What part"

I spoke up because I was tired of this "Look I don't want to cause any drama I'm really not that person y'all knew from the club. My attitude has changed my mindset has changed as well. If y'all want to continue to be petty and shit that's on y'all we can gladly handle it. But I think it's rude that the whole purpose of this dinner was to meet eachother and yet here y'all are trying to argue." I turned to London

"I'm honestly very sorry for the stuff with Nahmir but I had no clue he was messing with you at the time as well and also he isn't shit. I've made my last few months the best I can on my own. Leaving the club to become a better mother finishing school and getting on my shit all on my own. So if you are hurt about him shit me too, but guess what life goes on I'm glad you moved on and I'm happy for you. Just as I expect you to be happy for me as well."

She didn't say anything for a while " I guess Bri I'm just taking all of this in. Where did you meet my brother?"

"We literally bumped into each other at a store"

"Hmm typical...Look just keep your distance from me and we won't have a problem and don't try any shit with my brother because you really don't even know how much hate I had for you, that I haven't fully forgiven you for" she said and looked back down at her phone

I just nodded

We continued eating dinner like civilized people i was surprised everyone was talking and being calm. Until I seen a familiar face "Are you serious"

"Damn a family dinner without Nahmir huh" he walked over to the table with some young girl who probably was 17 and working at the club

"And who is this holding my son, damn you sure do move on quick huh"

"What was I supposed to do wait for you to be real and have a family ohh wait you wanted me to let you continue to beat my ass everyday and cheat on me. Please Nahmir just walk away"

"No forreal because you messing up the vibe right now" London said

He stepped back when he seen her "ohhh shit London" he laughed " A table full of hoes" before I knew it Josiah handed me jr. so quick I almost didn't catch him.

In a blink of a eye Josiah,Ryan and London's boyfriend were at Nahmir's neck
