BRI~

I rocked Isla to sleep as I stared at the view our room had. Lost in my thoughts i didn't even hear Josiah come in the room.

"Bri!"

"Huh?"

"You good?"

I laid Isla down in the baby bed and nodded "yeah im fine just thinking about what I want to bring to our family when the new year starts"

He walked closer to me wrapping his arms around me "Don't stress it, you still have your shop we're millionaires now and these kids are more than blessed it's all good from now on, I promise"

"I hope so, you talked to your mom?"

he unwrapped his arms from around me and went to sit on the bed "Yeah I told her don't come for Christmas"

"Why would you do that"

"Because as long as she around him, she won't be able to be around us"

"That's not fair to the kids Josiah she probably still wanted to see her grandbabies, what yall have going on shouldn't interfere with her family relationship"

He completely ignored everything I said. "Like I said Bri she not coming around until she drop him"

I decided not to argue with him because I couldn't force him to bring her around us "Okay josiah"

"Anyways I got a call from my business partner, they want me to meet with them tomorrow, so I'll fly back to Dallas and then I'll fly back the next morning so i'll be able to spend the new year with yall"

I kind of figured what he was saying was bullshit because now all of a sudden he wanted to always be around his business partner, who is a woman, he thinks I don't know that. Their business meetings have started to run for hours now and I was putting a stop to this. I book a flight to Dallas that leaves right after his and I was going to figure out exactly what they were doing, I'll be damned if I had a baby and was going to sit at home while he cheats on me.

"Okay well I guess i'll see you new years morning then" I walked away from him and went down the hall to London's room. I lightly knocked on the door "Hey I need a huge favors from you and phor please"

"Sure what is it?"

"I need you to watch Jr. and Isla for me I need to go handle some business and Josiah will be out of town as well, but just for one day"

She smiled "Sure no problem you know I will always watch them"

"Thank you" I left out the room and back to our guest room, Josiah was in the bathroom on the phone and I listened to every word he said.

KIARA~

I laid on the couch watching power, eating popcorn. Sundays were my chill days and I didn't have any new year plans couldn't get drunk and I planned to eat my life away as usual. Jay called my phone for the tenth time today and I declined it. After my run in on the phone with Malayah I didn't really wanna talk to anyone. I just wanted to have my baby and move far far away it wasn't about being with ryan anymore it was now all about being at peace with myself and making sure my baby stays safe.

There was someone banging on my door and im for sure it's the police shit it better be. I paused the show and got up. I swung the door open and Jay pushed straight pass me. "Your phone broke?"

"umm no why?"

"Look Kiara, I really need you to help me with this shit, I know you the only person right now who is stable" He pulled out a few bricks out of a duffel bag

"Is this coke?"

"What else Kiara" he shook his head. I swear he was so fucking rude at times

"Im not pushing that shit Jay" He stopped and set the bag down then walked over to where I was standing. I was a little shook but I been with worst guys. He pulled out his gun and pointed it under my chin "You wanna fucking die right now Kiara?"

I shook my head no quickly. "No No"

He laughed and put the gun back in his waistband. "You're so beautiful" he grabbed my chin and admired my face "Unless you wanna keep this nice face, you gonna do whatever the fuck i say, okay?"

I just looked at him "Okay"

He smiled and stepped back "See that was so easy, and in reality you're technically not pushing anything I just need to store some product here and have you by my side just in case anything happen"

He must think he fetty wap and im his trap queen.

He put the bricks back in the bag and zipped it up."Alright beautiful, I need you to hide this until I come back next week" He handed me the bag and kissed my forehead. "Be good" he walked to the door touching the handle then he turned around "Ohhh and if you think about ratting me out or anything like that, I'll make sure you and your family will disappear.

I nodded and gave him a blank stare. Once he left out the door, I texted Ryan "I really need your help"

MALAYAH~

"Fuck" Ryan groaned as he came and I swallowed. I smiled and stuck my tongue out. The kids were downstairs with London doing some type of arts and crafts and the rooms in the house we so spaced apart, You couldn't hear anything. I rolled out of bed and brushed my teeth, it felt good waking up to some good sex. I never confronted Ryan about the shit with Kiara but I would soon let shit hit the fan, so for the time being i'm going to enjoy the happy times.

I finished brushing my teeth and peeked my head back into the room, Ryan was sleep again I walked back over to the bed and shook him "Wake up, this is the only time we have together and you wanna be sleep"

"My bad let me get ready then, you can have me for the rest of the day" he got out of bed and went to take a shower.Meanwhile I went through his phone, still no messages and new recent calls from the number. I closed the phone and gave up, I didn't wanna push the situation. When he came back I smiled and looked at the tv.When he sat on the bed I rub his shoulders and kissed him "Can I ask you something?"

"Go ahead"

"Do you have any other secrets you've ever wanted to tell me about or just anything in general"

"I'm allergic to a few things"

"Stop playing im being serious.. do you have another woman, are you married already, do you have others kids i don't know about"

He looked at me "Why you asking me about this? why would i have another woman or be married to someone else first.I never thought about marrying someone until I met you"

"kids?"

"Other than the two downstairs, I don't have any other kids...that I know of"

"mhmm.. well now in the future if any of this is a lie, i'll have to kill you" I laughed but was deadass.

"Yeah iight we will be two dead motherfuckers"

there was a knock on the door and it was Imani, I could hear he little voice on the other side of the door. I opened the door and she walked right past me and over to Ryan.

"Hey"

"Wassup mani" she giggled because she loved her little nickname he gave her.

"Bored"

"We just bored too Imani minding our business" I said looking for some clothes to put on for the day.

"Phone?" she ran over me with my phone in her hand and I unlocked it for her. "Don't buy anything on my phone"

"Okay" she ran out the room and I closed the door locking it.

"You remember how you wanted to be somewhere safe and out the way of this lifestyle"

I nodded not really paying attention to him.

"Well, I guess you can consider yourself safe now" he walked over to me holding a set of keys.

"Our new home is ready"

JOSIAH~

I sat at the bar with a few of my business partners, after a successful meeting everybody went to the bar in the hotel we were staying at and just chilled. Rose, one of my business partners was super young and always doing good in any of our meetings, like me. As the boss I gave a cheers out to her and she thanked us. After a few more drinks I went to the elevator and waited, I was drunk but not sloppy drunk. I stepped on the elevator and before the doors closed Rose stuck her hand in it "Wait" she stepped on I didn't want to wait for the next one it seems like their elevators move so slow. I nodded in agreement "Shit I feel you"

"Are you on the eight floor too?"

"Yeah I should've stayed at the top floor suite but im only here for a few hours gotta get some rest and make my flight back out to my family."

"Ohh you're married?"

"Yeah I seem too young to be married huh?"

"Yes very" she laughed "have any kids?"

"Yeah two of them Jr. and Isla" I pulled out my phone showing her a picture of Bri and I with the kids for Christmas.

"Oh my god they are so adorable, your daughter literally has your whole face" she smiled.

"What about you? any kids? married"

"No just now starting to think about settling down"

The elevator doors opened and we exited and walked down the same direction to the room.

"Were you about to go to sleep? If not I wouldn't mind continuing to talk, I just really enjoy getting close to the people on the team especially because i'm new to the team and I feel like the rest of you all already have a bond"

"Uh I  should be free just for a little and nah it's no problem I definitely understand, you seem cool so it's alright"

she smiled and used her room key to open her door.

After a few more drinks we were laughing and talking about memories from when we were younger. It turns out Rose and I had a lot in common, she damn near was a computer geek like me, grew up in a single parent home, having to step up and do the right things for the family. She graduated early and was blessed with the job we offered her.

I looked at my phone "Damn rose you got me fucked up I hope i make my flight im about to go sleep for like two hours then get up and go"

she stood up and my eyes started roaming her body. I shook my head and walked towards the door. "you need help" I found my balance and opened the door "Nah I got it thanks though, i'll hit you up in the morning"

"Alright good night"

I walked down the hall to my door and searched for my key for a while. I looked in my wallet and pulled it out, opening the door. I sighed I knew two hours of sleep wasn't going to be enough but I didn't have a choice. I walked past the living room of my suite and straight into the bedroom I set an alarm for two hours on my phone and passed out into the bed within seconds of me falling asleep.
