MALAYAH~

I pushed the shopping cart down the aisle as I continued to look for something quick and easy for dinner. Taking a glance into the cart I've accepted that I couldn't just come into the store for one thing. I had a cart full of groceries.

"Get out of my purse" I told Imani, she always had her hands on some money. She smiled up at me acting as if she was innocent. Jayden went with Phor and Malachi for the weekend so it was just me and baby girl.

I decided on a chicken Caesar salad for dinner and got In line. As I put the groceries on the belt I heard a familiar voice. "Malayah? Hey girl"

"Hey Star how are you?" I gave her a hug.

"I'm great, since that day I met you I was able to work some things out on my own and now I'm doing better than ever."

I nodded "That's so good I'm proud of you"

"Thanks.. Umm I heard about Ryan I just want you to know I'm praying for you both It's the hardest thing taking care of kids by yourself with a lot of worry on your mind"

I was skeptical if she was serious or not. I was now even thinking maybe she had something to do about it, which wiped the smile off of my face. "Yeah thanks, I'll see you around"

"Alright have a good one" she walked off

"ALrIgHt HaVe A gOOd OnE" I mocked her and rolled my eyes making Imani giggle. "Mommy's funny Yeah I know"

After struggling with the bags and putting the groceries up I was tired. Someone rang my door bell and I took my time getting to the door. Once I opened it a fine ass man stood before me. I had to shake myself to make sure I wasn't dreaming.

"Hey I'm new to the neighborhood my name is Dre I wanted to invite you out me and a few of my friends are having a small little block party, food, fun for the kids, drinks everything it starts in a hour"

I leaned on the door examining him I guess he caught me because he started smiling he was a chocolate man with pure white teeth. I stopped dreaming and cleared my throat "uhh Hello, I'm Malayah" I shook his hand "I'll think about it kinda wrapped up in some things"

He nodded "Well I hope you do decide to come" Just then London pulled into my driveway and made her way to the door. "I just moved in two houses down"

"Ohh yes the johnsons moved out they were super nice and clean so you caught a good one"

He smirked "I bet"

London came up making a stank face at him "Hello who are you?" He turned to London "I'm Dre I just moved in I was just inviting Malayah out to a small gathering we were having later, if she didn't mind"

London looked in between us "Mhm, Well it was nice meeting you Dae"

"It's Dre" he corrected

I grabbed London's arm pulling her in the house and gave Dre a smile "Thanks for stopping by it was nice meeting you"

"Nice to meet you too beautiful"

"Aww Hell nah" London said behind me as I closed the door.

"Malayah!"

"London! Stop screaming before you wake Imani up. I just put her down"

"Girl I don't care I'm about to go wake Ryan up if you don't give me some answers"

I sat on the couch rubbing my temples. I could feel myself working up a headache since Ryan has been in the coma I've had the worst headaches. "London He is just a neighbor he stopped by inviting us over to his get together"

"Hmm that better be it"

I rolled my eyes She always wanted to act like someone's mother.

Later that day I decided to take Imani and London with me to Dre's get together. The house that he bought was amazing damn near the best on the block. The backyard was full of neighbors and a few of Dre's family and friends.

"Hey, I'm glad you came" Dre came jogging up to us. I looked over at London who was giving him a death stare.

"It's no problem just wanted to stop by for a quick second"

"Thanks it's food over there and drinks at the bar" he pointed to the bar that was stationed in the backyard. "Ouuu Drinks" I laughed

He laughed with me and London kept a straight face."Come on Imani let's see whats at the food table" she grabbed Imani and walked away.

I walked over to the bar with Dre on my heels starting a conversation "How long have you lived in this neighborhood" he asked "Umm almost two years now"

"That's wassup I lived in Austin,Texas before moving here"

"Ayeee okay come through Texas" I smiled

PHOR~

I was exhausted I had a few days off from the tour and here I was in the car listening to London ramble about some dude liking Malayah. I wasn't bothered by it because I knew he couldn't have been that stupid to think he could even get with her.

She crossed her arms over her chest "He better not talk to her again"

"What you gone do call the neighborhood watch" I joked

"stop playing with me"

We pulled up to our Condo and went into the garage. After I parked I grabbed Malachi out the back and we walked into the building. "Let's just focus on us London, I ain't seen you in a while and all I really wanna do is make another baby" I pulled her closer to me as we got on the elevator

"Stop being nasty" she laughed

We got off of the elevator and I suddenly got a suspicious feeling like someone was watching us. I looked around at the empty hallway and shook the feeling maybe I'm feeling this because I've been around a lot of people lately for my shows.

After getting In the house I felt relaxed it's been a minute since I been in my own crib I needed to enjoy every minute of the next few days.

I decided to end my night with Eating dinner and playing with Malachi until he fell asleep. London joined me on the couch to watch tv. She talked my ears off until she feel asleep. Thank god. I slowly slid from under her and went into the spare room we had. I made a phone call. "You can send it now" then hung up. A few seconds later I was staring at the possible target of my next move. I was surprised but this was expected. No matter who It was this next hit is for my brother I have to do it. I opened the door and peeked into the living room to make sure London was still sleep I didn't want her to no anything that I was doing with this. After closing the door and locking it I stared to lay out my plan while calling different people I knew.

"Times Up" I said as I circled the picture of the target.
