LONDON~

I laid Charlotte in her bed and watched her for a few seconds. I couldn't believe she whined all day with me but as soon as her dad comes she wants to laugh and climb all over him. I went down the hall to Malachi's room and peeked in he was sleeping as well. Finally, some peace and quiet. I sighed now it was time for confrontation. I went into the living room and seeing Phor on the balcony smoking, I decided to join him.

"Hey" I closed the door behind me and sat the baby monitor on the table so I could hear if baby girl woke up.

"Hey" he said nonchalantly

"Thanks" I faced him but he looked straight ahead.

"For what?"

"For helping me calm them down It's like you came at the perfect time"

"Yeah well that's my job right, to be there for my kids" he side eyed me.

The way he stressed the words "my kids" was hurtful I must say. I was quiet for a while and watched the downtown view, one of the main reasons we bought this penthouse was for the view.

"How is life on the road, I seen you are selling out arena's with this music stuff Phor that's amazing. Are you getting any sleep I know you're probably busy"

He exhaled "Life is great on the road the only thing im missing is family by my side but with my mom being sick and Tammy running the shop and Ryan tending to malayah and the kids, I've learned to be alone nothing much"

"Your mom is sick?" I sat up in my chair "Why didn't you tell me, you know I would always be there"

He shook is head and put the blunt out. "You don't have to act like you care London. How the fuck would I tell you if you never even answer the phone for me to speak to my kids"

"I.I.I'm sorry, I just needed some space"

"What does space have to do with me and them?"

I honestly didn't know what to say.

"Exactly"

"No. we are not about to blame all of our problems on me. You literally shut me out after the shit in Miami. I felt alone and scared with my kids and the crazy thing about it is that you were here but not here for us. You constantly put me down in ways I never would've expected from you. You didn't even help me with Charlotte for the first month of her being on this earth. So don't sit here and talk to me like im just some bitter ass baby mama"

"That's fine I've apologized plenty of times for you. I almost lost my fucking life London of course I wasn't in my right mind and I would think you of all people would understand. That's YOUR problem you don't know how to admit your wrongs." He was now standing in front of me "But i always admit my wrongs after the shit in Miami I apologized once I got myself together but what did you do? You insisted that I move out why? So you can lie to my kids and say i'm not there for them meanwhile i'm calling you everyday just to see their face. What was the point of marrying you if you wasn't going to be able to work shit out with me"

I had tears rolling down my face. I hated confrontation with him it made me so sad to argue with him especially when he called me out on my wrongs "Okay I'm Sorry! I didn't know what to do you shut me out so I figured the only way I would be fine is to shut you out as well. What did you expect we've never been through anything like that before but I want it to be done I want my family together, Please!"

He hugged me and I cried into his chest "Our family is together we just need to let go of our problems first" He said calming me down.

I moved out of the hug and wiped my eyes. "I look a mess"

"Nah you look good" He picked me up and went back into the house. Just as he was about to closed our room door Charlotte started crying and Phor sighed.

I laughed "Welcome home"

JOSIAH~

"What's wrong babe" Bri sat up and looked at me. I didn't even know I was spaced out staring at the ceiling. I been stuck like this since we had sex this morning which was about thirty minutes ago now I was just thinking.

"Nothing I'm chilling" I sat up looking at her.

She clenched the cover closer to her body and shook her head "You're not telling the truth Josiah something is bothering you and you won't tell me. Is it me?"

"Nah definitely doesn't have anything to do with you. I just been thinking about reaching out to my mom and her boyfriend shit been bothering me you know" I lied. I talked to my mom everyday I just couldn't get what was off my mind.

"You know you never told me much about the work trip you are taking after your birthday" she changed the subject going into the bathroom.

"It's just us trying to talk with some investors and take my company to the next level. I don't know how much more successful it can get but I'm willing to find out."

"Yeah I know but.."

"But what. Oh you want to know who all is going huh?"

She cleared her throat "Yeah pretty much"

"Just the officials no females if that's what you wanna know"

"Hmm"

My phone dinged three times, I picked it up on the night stand and stared at the number. Rose sent me 3 different photos of her naked with a message "Your birthday just came early". I sat up and started sweating trying to delete the thread while Bri was coming out the bathroom.

"Who is that" she walked to the bed and I was now quickly deleting the messages.By the time she got over to me I showed her my message thread.

"It was nobody some scam shit, im tired of them getting my number."

She smiled "Well I'm gonna go cook breakfast really quick"

"Yeah make sure you hurry up too" I added

"Shut up" she laughed and I waited until I heard her reach the bottom of the stairs before going out to the balcony in our room.

I hurried and called Rose "Hey"

"What the fuck is wrong with you Rose"

"You didn't enjoy your birthday present" you could tell she was smiling on the other side of the line.

"Nah I didn't enjoy that and I'm sure my wife wouldn't have enjoyed it either if she would've seen them."

She exhaled loudly "Ugh my wife this, my wife that. What the hell do you ever stop mentioning her"

I looked at the phone crazy "Stop calling and texting me I don't want you and I'll make sure you're gone from the company by Monday"

"Wait I.."

I hung up the call and went downstairs. I couldn't let Rose add anymore problems to my life. The crazy thing is this isn't the first time she tried to pull some shit like this on me.

RYAN~

The shop was busy today and that meant nothing but good news for us, MORE MONEY! Tammy approached me "Those taxes must have deposited this morning because everyone is here". I had to laugh because Tammy never cared about what she said.

"You right it's never that many people here at one time. I'm glad I chose you as a manager for the shop you been keeping things on track here"

"No problem you know I'll do anything for my family, it also feels good to be a boss bitch around here"

"Yeah that's when ima walk away from the conversation"

"Oh wow, I have work to do anyways. I'll see you tomorrow morning"

"Alright"

I headed out the front door and went to my car. I got a call from a unknown number.

"Yo" I spoke into the phone

"We still on for that exchange"

I looked around and hopped in my car. "Yeah everything finalized now. Just waiting on the call"

"Alright" the call ended and I started the engine before I could pull off. My uncle called me "Wassup Unc"

"I need you to come up to the hospital now"

"What's going on"

"It's your mom she was hurt"
