Final Chapter

Omniscient P.O.V

London and Phor were always the backbones that Malayah and Ryan needed. They've literally took in Jaden and Imani with open arms and helped the couple get through their grieving stage. It's been a rough journey for Malayah she's faced betrayal, the true meaning of love, success, failure, and plenty of other hardships in life. Overall she knew through it all her faith and having Ryan by her side, were the reasons she was able to overcome all of those challenges.

Almost a complete year later and Malayah and Ryan finally tied the knot. Knowing that the moment meant so much to them they've opted out of having a big fancy wedding. They were accompanied by their closest friends and family only.

Walking hand in hand off to the open area Malayah rested her head on Ryan's shoulder. Looking over the hills that their venue sat at the top of. The scenery was stunning and honestly relaxing. Probably one of the most relaxing times they've had since they had met.

Looking down at Malayah it was obvious she had some things on her mind as tears lightly fell down her face. Wrapping his arms around her Ryan let her cry into his chest comfortably getting it all out. Malayah was among the strongest women he knew, the other being his mother.

After letting her get her emotions out she moved back out of his embrace and wiped her eyes. "Ouu Tina will kill me once she see's I messed up my makeup" She laughed. "But I needed that I needed to let it all out you know?"

Ryan nodded. As he completely understood where she was coming from. He often put up a poker face but whenever he was alone he often thought about everything that has affected his life as well. He didn't cry a lot but when he did it was brief. It was something he battled for a long time after all he was never taught how to fully put his feelings on display. He was always there for others as needed. Family, friends, his kids, and Malayah. There was never a time when he would turn down the opportunity to being a listening ear, supporter, provider, and more. It tugged at his heart a lot but he didn't mind it.

That was until this moment. "You know the best part of it all?" He asked. Looking deeply into Malayah's eyes that gave off the same sparkled he loved.

"What?" She asked with a light smile and curiosity.

"That I got to do it with you. From the time we met at the convention up until now I'm beyond grateful I was able to experience it all with you. I wouldn't have wanted to do any of this shit with someone else. The fun we have, the arguments, the maturity, the love, all of it only felt right with you. I damn near would've lost my entire life if it wasn't for you balancing me out seriously" He spoke truthfully from the heart as he for one of the first times in his life truly poured out his feelings. He felt very comfortable doing this with Malayah.

It's been a while since they've had time to themselves to really look back and show true appreciation to each other. Planning a wedding, continuing to grieve a child and slowly but solidly making their way back into fully running the shops have taken over their time.

Taking in every single world he said Malayah let them sink into her heart. She had never had real love until she met Ryan. Prior to meeting him she thought she would never even be fortunate enough to endure such love.

"We should probably get back I know the kids are looking for us" Malayah spoke softly not wanting to leave the moment but they still had a honeymoon to look forward to whereas they could spend as much alone time together.

Walking back to the crowd of people Josiah's voice was the first thing you could hear yelling over the music. "Damn I thought yall dipped out on us" He joked while holding on to Bri.

"Boy shut up we just needed some alone time" Malayah mushed his head softly as they walked past him.

"Let's get some family pictures please, right over here" The photographer motioned for everyone to gather around so they could take turns getting pictures with the Bride and Groom.

First Malayah was instructed to take her pictures occasionally laughing as London hyped her up before joining her in the pictures as she was the Maid of honor. Ryan then took his individual pictures and then a few with his Groomsmen.

"Okay now let's get the children in the frame please" The photographer moved back making sure to focus on the family and also capture the background around them. "Beautiful family! A few more shots now" He instructed while moving to a different angle.

"Okay me next" Josiah came into the frame photobombing hitting a jail pose while everyone else joined. "Perfect, perfect" The photographer laughed as they switched up their poses.

"Last shots I will need of the Bride and Groom please"

Watching as everyone moved back to outside of the frame. They went through a few different poses being as dramatic as she could Malayah wouldn't rest until they got the perfect pictures. The last shot consisted of a close up of the couple as they held hands and she looked into his eyes getting lost in them. "Thank You" she smiled.

"For what?" He asked.

"For being My Everything"
