MALAYAH~

I woke up and looked around the room, Ryan was sleep and the sun was beaming through the glass window. I slowly got out the bed picking up my clothes from last night. I went into the closet and pull out one of his shirts and a pair of leggins that I left here, going into the bathroom I took a quick shower, brushed my teeth and fixed my hair and slipped the clothes on. I peeked out the bathroom door and see he was still sleep, I walked out the room and went downstairs opening the uber app on my phone I requested one to take me back to the rental house since I left my car at home last night. Last night was great don't get me wrong but what does sex fix? I slipped up and got into my feelings last night but I had to continue ignoring him for the better. Once I got a text that the car was outside I quickly left out and locked the door behind me. As I sat I thought about my next move was it really a good one. Staring at the tickets I closed my phone and let a tear slide down my face. Arriving to the house, I let out a sigh of relief and got out of the car "Thanks sir, have a good day". I walked into the house immediately being greeted by Jayden running up to me "Where we you?" I smiled "Umm Goodmorning to you too, I was out last night and was just a little tired so I went to sleep and just decided to come back this morning" He turned his attention back to his Ipad. I heard Imani high pitched crying as I walked into the kitchen seeing the baby sitter, Diane, attempting to feed Imani who was refusing.

I sat my belongings down and walked over to her "Whats wrong baby girl" I grabbed her and looked at Diane "Thanks so much D, I got caught up in some stuff last night and it was just so much here's some extra money for staying" I reached for my purse but she stopped me

"Girl you already pay me enough besides im not in it for the money I really enjoy these kids, they remind me of my own.Call me if you need me this week hun" We said our goodbyes and I finished feeding Imani.

Later that day I sat in the middle of my room Looking at my bags and letting my mind wonder the past events in my life. I was going to Dallas in a few hours, not to live but just to get myself away from Ryan and to be with my mother as she recovers. Im pretty sure he will soon find out where we are but for the first few days I wanted nothing but peace. Just as the door bell rang I came downstairs and opened it "Heyyy mommiana" London's loud mouth ass came in. "hey girl" I said sadly. "Uh uh cheer up right now, you're about to go on vacation, you sure you don't want to take Malachi with you" I laughed at her "Hell nah I got enough with the two I have" London sat on the couch and I joined her. "Soooooo" she dragged on "Soooo what?'

"What did yall do last night?"

"What do you mean"

"Come on Layah, I checked your location and you were definitely not here"

"Ohh we just talked"

"Andddd"

"And nothing London"

"Liar"

"'Okay we did have sex but it was just because we missed each other"

"Mhmm, I knew it Fast ass"

I smirked "I don't know I just woke up this morning with the mind set of still distancing myself from him you know, it's like if I give in then im weak and will never see a change"

"I understand, look take this time in Dallas to focus on you and only you it's not about him once you leave here"

My phone started to ring and I looked down just staring at it

"Is it him"

"Yeah"

"Block his number Malayah"

I scrunched my face up "What no, we still have the kids to talk about and business"

"Well make sure whenever he calls it's only about kids and business that's it that's all"

I nodded "Okay im ready, I got the kids dressed and all before you came"

"Alright let's go then"

I went upstairs and grabbed my last suitcase. Wheeling it down the stairs I thought this was really happening. London already stood downstairs with Imani's carseat and Jayden waiting with her. After loading up the car I strapped the kids in and went to lock the door. The ride to the airport with London was well needed we laughed and joked like we haven't seen each other in years. The closer we got to the airport I started to feel sick. "Were here" London sang out, she looked over reading my facial expression.

"Girl I swear to god if you let a tear out Malayah"

I fanned myself "Im sorry you know im emotional, this feels like a lifetime movie or something"

We both laughed as we got out of the car. I hugged her tight even though I wouldn't be gone that long. We got the kids out of the car and I went inside the airport going to check us in. After getting through security check and barely making it to our gate, we were finally on the flight. I uploaded a picture on my instagram that I took earlier

I opened the message and left it on read.

2 weeks later

LONDON~

"Heyyyy mannn" I did a baby voice as I walked in Malachi's daycare class. Picking him up I signed him out and grabbed his bottles. "How was he today" I asked

"He was very cranky this morning"

I bounced him on my hip "Yeah sorry we literally just back into town last night, So moving him around and stuff always irritates him"

"No problem, bye Malachi"

He waved his hand at her I laughed and smiled "See you tomorrow"

walking out of the daycare center I sat in my Range and took a picture of me and Malachi uploading it to instagram and also sending it to Malayah

Bestie: I miss you more, he's getting so big

I smiled and pulled off heading home. I got a call from my mom, I answered and connected it to the car. "Hey Mommy"

"Hey love, how is everything"

"It's great I just picked up Malachi from daycare, about to go home and cook dinner"

"Okay sounding real wifeish"

I rolled my eyes she wanted me and Phor to get married right now but I believe we both weren't ready or it will happen when it happens. "I know mom" I giggled

"Mhm, have you talked to your brother, he is around him acting a ass now"

"No what do you mean?"

"He is out here living the wrong life, he has a good ass job but a dumb ass head on his shoulders. Do you know how many times i've had to talk to him"

"Ma he grown as hell let him mess up his own life, if you told him about it let it go, I don't want you stressing over something stupid that he is doing because if something happens to you then I'll have to beat his ass myself"

"Such a big sister bully"

"You already know but mom Im just now getting home I'll facetime you after dinner time so you can see Malachi"

"Okay bye love you"

"Love you too" I let the phone hang up ad I pulled into our condo garage and parking in my spot. I looked back Malachi who was trying to sit up in his carseat. I laugh and got out walking over to his side "What are doing trying to see mommy" He smiled at me, I had the friendliest baby ever. After getting off the elevator I smelled weed coming from our condo door. Oh hell nah. I opened the door and seen the living room was empty but our balcony door was closed which Phor and Ryan were sitting out there.

I sat Malachi's carseat down in the living room and walked out to the balcony so he wouldn't be close to the smell. I opened the door "Phor can you come here really quick" He got up "Hey Ryan" he nodded "wassup" He been in his feelings because I wouldn't tell him where Malayah was. So what, I don't care he put my friend through enough shit he needed to let her breathe.

"What's wrong" Phor walked back into the apartment with me

"you don't smell that?"

"Smell what? you farted or something?"

"Im not playing Phor you know I hate bringing Malachi around that smell"

He kissed me "Alright cool we will put it out he's about to leave anyways" on cue Ryan came inside

"I'll catch you later gotta go check on both shops before I head home" He dapped up phor, he was about to walk past me but I stopped him

"Look I know you in your feelings, but you not speaking to me is rude as hell in that case, you don't have to come over to my house anymore if you're going to act like that"

He scoffed "I said wassup outside, look no disrespect but we only need to talk if it's regarding where Malayah at okay"

"Fine peace out" He walked out the door and I went to lock it, picking up Malachi on my way back I seen phor as the kitchen Island going through his phone "I have a radio interview in the morning and a show on Friday In St.Louis plus a pop up appearance the following day"

"Damn that's alot"

" I want you to stay home this time"

"why?" I whined. I loved being on the road with him

"It's too much and we need to stop bringing Malachi around so many places messing up his schedule"

"Fine" I caught an attitude

"You acting like a big ass baby right now" He wrapped his arms around my waist.

My phone started to ring flashing "Bestie" across the screen. I was geeked I loved getting calls from her and the kids.

"Hey love" I stopped mid sentenced as I heard her sobbing on the other end "Malayah what's wrong??"

"London's she's gone"

"Who??"

"My mom" she continued crying and my heart dropped.

BRI~

"Ohh three pointer" Josiah pretended as he tossed a paper ball in the garbage and it made it, making jr. scream in excitement. "The crowd goes crazy"

"Yall are something else"

"I think your mother is a hater" Josiah tickled jr.

"Whatever, I hope you packed all of your stuff for tomorrow?"

"Nah I was gone let you do it"

"I am not your mother"

"I know you aren't but I went up to the shop and seen you redecorated some stuff around"

"yeah well you know, i get tired of the looking at the same things? I shrugged

"I get tired of looking at my account with your deductions"

"You telling lies, I bought everything with my own money"

"Okay boss lady" He put his hands up in defense.

I went through the stack of mail on the table and started reaching each one off but I stopped at one envelope "What is this" I opened it and there was a old picture of me and Nahmir with the words "I know what you did" on the back.

Looking back at the envelope it was from Nas.
