RYAN~

I sat across from Malayah at the dinner table in deep thought. Kiara really fucked my head up telling me that she was pregnant, I didn't feel bad telling her that she need a dna test once the baby was born but she felt as if I was being a asshole. It's a good thing I kept my mouth closed because I definitely didn't want to tell Malayah any of this while it was her birthday.

"Are you listening to me"

I nodded "yeah I heard everything you said"

"Okay repeat what I said"

I laughed "It's a lot to repeat"

"Will you two be having dessert?" our private waiter approached us.

I sat back in my chair "I got all the dessert I need across from me"

Malayah laugh and smiled "I would like to try to mini molten cake"

"Yes ma'am I will have that out to you in a bit"

"Thanks" she closed the menu and looked back up at me "So who were you talking to on the balcony?"

"My moms" I lied "She was asking something about Imani's day care"

"Ohh, do you think we are putting too much stress on your parents? Because they are constantly watching the kids for us?"

I shook my head "Hell nah they damn near beg to watch them, my mom always been to type to spoil kids even if they weren't hers"

"She's so nice, I love it"

I stared at her "Yeah I wish your mom was able to be around them"

She looked down "yeah that's true"

I noticed that she never wanted to bring up her mother because it made her sad but I wanted to remind her that I would always be here to talk with her about it.

"Here's that mini molten cake ma'am. You two enjoy"

I rubbed my eyes because I haven't been to sleep in twenty four hours.

"What's wrong" she said with her mouth full

"Nothing just some bullshit at home, i'll deal with it when we get back"

"Im stuffed" she sat back in her chair patting her stomach

"Nah not yet"

she laughed "Why are you so nasty?"

"nah but seriously, let's go see the rest of the beach everyone said the sunset nice as hell"

The best thing I loved about these all inclusive resorts was that everything was included, we didn't have to pay for dinner or our drinks.

We got up from the table and went down to the beach. Just as the sun started to set. "This is so beautiful im glad we chose here for my birthday, thanks so much baby"

There was a small patio on the beach that let you go out and see the water. It was decorated with roses from the resort.

We went to the end and watched the scene. I stood behind Malayah wrapping my arms around her. "I wouldn't want to spend my birthday any other way"

"I bet, this isn't it though" I unwrapped my arms and got down on one knee.

"What do you mean.." she turned around and her eyes got big "Oh my god ryann"

MALAYAH~

I cried tears like a baby when Ryan asked me to be his wife. I really couldn't believe it even though I felt like a wife already it was official now. We walked back to the room and I couldn't stop smiling. I facetimed London

"Helloooo birthday girl"

"Hey London guess what?"

"What??"

I flashed my ring "Im engaged" I yelled

"AHHHHHHH congratulations oh my god, that girl married what!! and on your birthday" London smiled into the camera

"I know I know, I literally did not expect it at all"

"Yoooo welcome to the married life bro" Phor looked in the camera

"Thanks man" Ryan said as we entered the suite.

"Go pop them bottles girl, and later on pop something else you know what I mean ahhh" London stuck her tongue out.

I shook my head "Bye girl, we will catch up as soon as I get back love you"

"Bye hun I love you more"

I stared at my ring "This has been the best birthday of my life Ryan, I love you so much"

"I love you more Layah"

The next morning

I was beyond tired we had a an early morning flight back home that got delayed twice and all I wanted to do was get home to my babies. We pulled up to Ryan's parents house and she met us at the door. "Ohhh I heard the news let me see" I flashed her my ring.

"Oh my goodness, You were already apart of the family but congrats"

"Thanks ma"

"Mommy" Imani ran to me.

"Hey sweetie" I bent down and kissed her cheek

"I missed you two, where is jayden?"

"At school"

"You're so smart baby girl" I picked her up and got her bag. "Thanks ma"

"No problem, drive home safe and tell my son that he isn't too grown to come talk to us"

I nodded "He's just been so busy, I'll let him know" I walked back to the car and seen he was arguing with someone on the phone then he noticed me and wrapped up his conversation.I opened the backseat door and strapped Imani in. Then got in on the passenger side.

"Everything okay?"

"Yeah it's all good" A call came through his phone which was connected to the car. I didn't recognize the number but it was from Miami,florida. Ryan declined the call and looked back at Imani "Hey princess, how was grandma" he tickled her and she laughed uncontrollably.

"You wanna go back to your place or mine?"

i looked straight ahead "You can take me back to my place I have to get ready for work in the morning"

I was quiet for the rest of the ride I really wanted to know who calling him from Florida.

KIARA~

I sent a text message to my mom and threw my phone down. I was exhausted and sad being here in florida has made me realize I didn't have a lot of people to depend on. My parents were flying down to see me soon and I had to get my house completely together. I had enough money to buy me a nice apartment and enough to last me for a while without having to work. After i told Ryan about the pregnancy he insisted I have a DNA test done and started talking to me like shit. I get it why he is mad though but I'm ninety percent sure it's his baby but all I had to do was play the wait game until I could prove him wrong.

I rubbed the little pudge in my stomach "Ouuu I wonder if you're gonna be a boy or girl, either way im gonna love you the best that I can"

I grabbed my purse and headed to the store, I wanted to stock my house with a few things before my parent's come because they were so judgmental and would kill me if they seen the things I was eating lately. I decided to walk to the grocery store since it was in the neighborhood and I wanted some fresh air. I stepped off the elevator and seen this guy who i've noticed been around for a while.

"What's going on beautiful" he said stroking his beard

"Hi" I said and smiled

"Damn you must be shy or something, you live here too?"

"Yeah I moved in not too long ago"

"Awww word, hopefully I get to see you more"

I nodded "Yeah hopefully"

"Im sorry what's ya name" he asked walking closer to me.

"Kiara and you?"

"Im Jay, nice too meet you. Can I get ya number or something I wanna get to know you Kiara"

I hesitated "Umm yeah sure" he handed me his phone and I put my number in

"iight I'll be hitting you up soon make sure you reply"

I rolled my eyes playfully "Hmm I just might"

I left out the building, smiling hard he was cute.
