We were in a jewelry store with Phor as he looked at Rings for London. I was happy for him not too long ago his ass was running around being hot head now look at him a baby, two careers, and a soon to be wife I applaud him because honestly I don't think me and Malayah are ready for marriage if she pulling out knives on me.

"Alright I'll take it" Phor told the jeweler he smiled and went to get a box for the ring. After a few minute he came back and rang it up for him after we left the jeweler we went back to the resort today was our last day and we had a dinner to attend tonight. Once I got to my room I shower and got dressed dinner wasn't for another two hours so I'm going to the bar. I went downstairs to the bar and ordered my drink. I noticed a girl at the end of the bar was staring me down "Nope" I turned the other way, I'm not risking nothing else with Malayah.

After a few minutes later Josiah came down to the bar as well we talked about our next move in Dallas but not too much you never know who is around and listening. After a while of us talking everyone came downstairs heading over to where we were having dinner. Once we were all seated Alcoholic London suggested we should order drinks I was already 4 drinks in.

Phor scooted his chair back and stood up "Toast to our future, everyone's success, all the hard work we put in. Im happy to have yall around and even more glad to have my baby by my side" He looked at London who was cheesing. "I wanna thank you so much for everything you've done for me from boosting my career to having making me a father, I wouldn't want it any other with anyone else. I never thought I'll see myself be in love because see I was a pimp back in the day you just don't know" He laughed and sat his glass down on the table and got down on one knee pulling the box out. "Im proud to always call you mine but this time let's make it official Will you marry me London?" He opened the ring box and all the girls screamed in excitement. London starting wiping her tears and smiled "Yes" Everyone clapped as they kissed.

"Good shit bro" I raised my glass to him

He pointed at me and Malayah "Yall two next"

Malayah smiled and grabbed my hand. After we ate dinner we chilled by the fire pit and just talked.My phone rang but I ignored it the first time, the second time it rang I answered it "Hello"

"Hey, is this Ryan Henry"

"Yes, who is this"

"This is the Chicago Morgue, we need you to come down to identify and confirm a body of a Miss Trina Brown."

"Trina Brown, morgue, what happened?"

Malayah stared at me as I sat on the phone with the morgue.

"Mr.Henry that is information that we cannot tell you over the phone we would have you come in and will discuss it further more, when will you be available?"

"I understand and Tomorrow afternoon is fine"

"Thanks"

I hung up and looked around confused.

"Who was that bro?" Phor said

"The morgue, they said Jayden's mom is dead couldn't give me any more information just need to go identify and confirm the body"

"Damnnn what!" Josiah said

Malayah stayed quiet the whole time we talked about it. I grabbed her hand "What's wrong" she shook her head "Nothing im fine".

I left it alone and continued throughout the night.

The next morning

We made it to our flight surprisingly after last night. We were landing and I had to see what was going on, I felt a weird feeling about Trina's death not a feeling like I'll miss her but a feeling that this wasn't a accidental death. Trina may have been a bad mom but her ass was street smart. After we exited the plane and got our bags I sent Malayah a car to get home to the kids while I head to the morgue.Once I arrived I was shown to the glass window where they had her body on a table.Her body was covered in burn marks.Someone tried to set her on fire but eventually shot her in the head. This was definitely a message to me, a message I couldn't let Malayah know about she already didn't feel safe with me. After I left the morgue I headed home, while driving I made sure to text every worker I had associated in chicago and in Dallas, all games were over now.

MALAYAH~

I let the water out as I held my robe closed. After our flight I cooked dinner,put the kids to bed and took me a long bubble bath. I blew out the candles and went to sit on the bed after applying lotion to my body I put on one of Ryan's shirts and laid in bed until I heard the downstairs door open and close.A few moments later he came in and went straight into the bathroom and showered. I didn't get a kiss or anything I was really feeling some type of way.When he came out he went into the closet and came back out with his boxers on. "Sooo" I dragged on.

He sighed as he moved around the room "Yeah it was her, she done finally got her self into some shit" he shook his head "I don't know how i'll be able to tell Jayden, just hate for kids to go through something like this" He got in bed next to me.

"Just tell him as easy as you can, it may not really hit him till he is older" I reassured.After a few more minutes of us talking he was now asleep my baby was tired snoring and all. I pulled out my phone and called London.

"Hey love, how is everything"

"It's okay im just up thinking , everyone in the house is sleep but anyways let me see your ring again I really can't believe it my sis is getting married"

She flashed her ring in the camera and I smiled I was genuinely happy her for.

"Im waiting on the day you and mr.henry get married"

I rolled my eyes "Girl im waiting on it too I guess when the time is right, not gonna rush anything you know"

"Yeah I know sis, but I feel like you have to direct his ass" I heard Imani on the baby monitor crying.

I made my way to her room and picked her up out of her crib, bringing her back into our bedroom as I rocked her to sleep. She was so spoiled it sucked. "I know but how do I direct someone that moves on their own time" I said low into the phone.

"Well you know your man the best, if you've seen him making progress let him know about it and tell him what else could be done"

"Okay love jones" I laughed and Ryan woke up out of his sleep "Who you talking to?"

"My boyfriend" I joked

"Yeah iight" I sat Imani next to him and a few seconds later they were both sleep in the same position.

1 week later.

I was on facetime with London and Bri gossiping about what the hell these men were up too.

"Okay soo Phor said he was going to do a show, Ryan is doing business, and Josiah had a meeting with his company all in Dallas, come on now yall they must think we are fools"

"Well thankfully I snooped through Phor's phone and I know who they are going after"

"Whoo?" Me and Bri both said in unison

"Some guy named Nas, supposedly he killed Trina and was plotting on the whole family"

"Nahmir.." Bri said lowly

"What about him?" I questioned

"Nas is nahmir's brother not too long ago he started showing up with Nahmir's mother who wanted to see Jr. I never trusted Nas he was a snake from the beginning"

"Woww"

"But Nas is more dangerous than anyone else that has tried some shit I believe they will get rid of him though, he has caused enough drama already"

I nodded and kept calm I had a talk with Ryan before he left and I felt very confident in this trip he was taking.

After I got off facetime with the girls I went into the living room and checked on the kids."Alright so what are we doing today" Imani babbled and waved her bottle around I nodded as if I understood her and the door bell rang. I walked to the door checking the peephole "Aww hell nah" I swung the door open

"You got some nerve showing up here"
