Sakura's POV

Chaeyeon.........

Saying her name makes me weak.

"Sakura, you're not even listening" Yena pouted. We're in the living room, discussing some matters.

"You're thinking about her, don't you?" I looked at her.

"W- who?"

"Of course, Chaeyeon"

"It's really weird. I'm just worried about her but, why do I feel like I'm happy and protected when I'm with her?" I can't even understand myself.

"Chaeyeon is a kind of girl who will do whatever she wants. She's not literally like that before. I'm her bestfriend that's why I know her well" she drank her chocolate drink.

"Being worried about someone is usual. I mean, look at Chaeyeon. She's clumsy and unlucky all the time, she's someone who's to be worried about but being happy and protected while you're with her is in a different level. Happiness is not easy to find, you should do something in order to get it, to have it. It's like your favorite thing, you do your best to make it yours and that happiness is a thing that Chaeyeon can give you, huh?" She laughed while saying it so I slapped her arm.

Yeah she's right. Whenever I see Chaeyeon being happy, it feels like I'm also infected by her happiness.

"You know what? Just by looking at Chaeyeon, you can easily determine what she's thinking about. She's a person who is easy to read. That's why I immediately found out that she likes you " she focused her gaze forward.

S- she likes me?

"You're lucky to have her. Even we've only became friends this schoolyear, I know everything about her based on how she acts. Seeing you being happy with something that she hates is unacceptable for her,but she will still endure it so that she'll fulfill your happiness. Like me, even though she doesn't wants to treat me ice cream, she still do it because it's the thing that makes me happy"

Yena's saying meaningful things today that's why I'm listening to her because this only happens once in a blue moon.

"So that explains why she still went in the haunted house booth with me even though she's afraid" I didn't even think about that in the first place. She's acting cool inside the haunted house but she turned out screaming for her life haha.

"I'll tell you a secret. In the time that Yunjin's still here, Chaeyeon was silently observing the both of you" she said .

W- what?

"S- she did?" I asked her . She nodded her head.

"She's still not sure about her feelings for you back then but seeing her cry, makes me cry also. Did you remember the time that she was crying in the practice room? That's the time that she's hurt because Yunjin, her childhood bestfriend confessed to the girl who she likes. It's the first time that they've liked the same girl and back then when they both like something, Chaeyeon always gave it up so that Yunjin would be happy. That's why she cried. She cried because this time, she'll not gave you up." she explained to me.

T-that's the reason why she cried? She cried because of me?

I'm an idiot! I should've felt that I was the reason why everything was messed up that day.

"I d- didn't know t-that she l-liked me. I d-didn't know" I paused for a while because I feel like I'm a pathetic fool who only focuses at myself and not minding what other feels.

Chaeyeon....... she makes me happy everytime, she always stays with me and she can make my heart beat fast.

"Do you also like her?" Yena asked me.

My heart started to pump fast again.

Do I like her? or she's just someone important to me?

"I know you can't answer this right now but please, don't hurt Chaeyeon. Please don't hurt her anymore" she stood up and went to her room.

I held my head because of the informations that I've heard.

but right now,

all I can say is,

I'm starting to fall for her.

Chaeyeon's POV

"It hurts seeing the girl you like being happy with others. If only I can turn back the time.." she's looking outside the balcony while I'm only listening to her.

"W- what are you talking about?" I asked her.

"Let's get in to the point Chaeyeon. Do you like Sakura?" she looked at me directly in the eyes. She's very serious right now.

Why is she asking me this sort of questions? D- don't tell me.....

"Do you also like her?" I asked her back.

"Yeah, I was the first one to like her but, when I saw that she became happier with you, I guess it's the time to give her up" she turned back again.

"Do you know what? Since we're in highschool, I already like her. She's too soft and I can't stop myself from falling with her. I made her happy, protected her and stood by her side for the rest of the time that I'm with her even though she only treats me as her older sister" I went beside her. Tears started to fall from her eyes.

"She was my everything. All my life I've been focusing on her this much but, it won't still change the fact that her feelings for me will not grow any bigger" I caressed her back. She's still crying.

She r- really likes Sakura.

"Please don't hurt her. Take care of her, love her and do the things that'll make her happy. I know that she'll also be happy with you so please...... I'm entrusting her to you because

this is the first time that I saw stars from her eyes but, it was twinkling for someone else's sky" she went inside the house while wiping her tears.

I promise I'll give her everything.

All the things that you should've gave.

I'll promise, Hyewon.
