Clary hadn't realized what she got into, neither did Isabelle.

Like having hot boyfriends wasn't enough, now they have to deal with, wet, hot boyfriends, which raises the scale.

"Ok, ya know what?, we are going home, right now" Clary grabbed Jace's wrist and practically dragged him back to the institute. They were laughing and talking , savoring every moment together, like it's their last.

A sharp cry shattered the calm aura. Jace shoved Clary behind him and slowly approached the front door, where a small basket lay.

Cautiously Jace pulled back the blanket and revealed

Unlike the babies they found in Liliths lair with claws and cold skin, this baby was gorgeous. Her eyes were a beautiful brown, her small head blossoming with little tufts of blonde hair.

Clary's heart melted as she carefully picked up the baby, rocking her back and forth, back and forth.

"Shhhhhhhhhh, it's alright little girl, shhhhh"

Just by looking at her, Clary could tell she was about 6-8 months old.

"Listen to this" Jace held up a letter and started reading.

Dear residents of the New York Institute,

We have given this child to take care of, her name is Charlotte.

We found her on the shores of a beach, take care of her

"Who would leave a note like that?, like this baby is a dog, leaving her at a door step" Clary's blood boiled.

"I'll call Magnus" Clary pulled out her phone.

"I'm already here biscuit"

A certain glittery warlock popped up behind them, eyeing the baby.

"I never knew you had a baby!" Magnus exclaimed sarcastically.

Clary glared him daggers and turned back to the basket, lowering the baby carefully into it.

She swiftly picked up the basket and plod into the institute, the others following her like lost lambs.

"Pass her here"

Magnus opened his arms and engulfed the baby in a hug, which the baby obviously didn't appreciate, since it started crying.
"Stop, your scaring the baby!"
Izzy plucked the baby out of Magnus' arms and shoved her into Jace's.
"Clary and I are going shopping to buy baby stuff, you guys stay here and try to find out as much as you can about her"
