Blaze has returned to Gardenia and has resumed his normal life on Earth. However, never underestimate the Trix, who are playing their last card to get what they want, blackmail. In order to save his parents and Y/n, Blaze loses his magic powers. And there's a new revelation: Daphne is Blaze's sister.

After getting hugged by all their friends, Blaze and Y/n were sent to Ms. Faragonda's office, where they sat in front of her, glancing nervously at each other. Griselda gave them both cups of tea. "Here. Drink it while it's hot. It'll do you good."

Too hot. Using her magic, even though it was still diluted, Y/n made a few icecubes appear, then drank it again. Still hot, a little watered down, but much more tolerable.

"Alright then. Would you like to tell me what happened, Blaze?" Faragonda asked.

"I went back to Gardenia, ma'am. I...I didn't feel like I was good enough for this school," he admitted, not able to look at her. Even Griselda looked at him with sympathy. "It was a hard journey but useful. Now I know who I am, and what my purpose is. Or was, rather...we both do."

"What do you mean?"

Y/n banged against the desk, standing quickly. "What he means is, where's Jack?! He's still alive! I need to talk to him! Ma'am, I'm the last Princess of Dyamond! And he's...he's the Prince of Domino! Please, if Jack can answer anything..."

"Yes..." was all that she answered with. "I know."

"Then why didn't you tell us?!"

Griselda remained where she was, doing nothing about Y/n's behavior, but wanting to reach out and assure her and Blaze everything would be alright. "Y/n, sometimes the search for the truth is more important than the truth itself. If I'd told you earlier, you wouldn't have been able to understand," Faragonda insisted.

"So, you're saying it was better for us to find things out through the three witches?!" Blaze cried, waving his arms like a maniac.

"What three witches? What are you talking about?"

"Icy, Darcy and Stormy followed me to Gardenia and took away the power I was meant to protect! The Dragon Flame is in their hands!" Blaze broke down then and began to sob. Y/n put her hand on his shoulder and rubbed it. "Those three witches are no mere students! A strange light shines in their eyes! They're crazy, ma'am! Crazy like the three old witches who destroyed Domino way back when!" Faragonda had been listening, too shocked to interject. She now got up and silently paced to her window. "And now, what's going to happen?"

"It means we are all in very grave danger."

Without a care in the world, Icy, Darcy, and Stormy entered into Cloud Tower with Pépé, who tripped over his feet. Knut picked him up, holding him gently in both hands. Whispers went through the witches when they saw them come in. Griffin, watching over their study period, stood aggressively towards the Trix, ready to protect her girls. "What are you three doing here?! I made it perfectly clear that you were not to step foot on this campus! This is my school and I won't let you wreak havoc in here!" She attacked, but Icy held up a shield around her and her sister.

After the attack had faded, Icy iced her shield and sent shards at Griffin, who fell back. Two of her teachers rushed to her aid. "Ms. Griffin! Are you alright?" Zarathustra asked. Not waiting for an answer, she glared at the teen witches, scolding, "Your behavior is unacceptable!"

"What are you gonna do? Give us detention?" Stormy snickered, then used her powers to cause a tornado to pick the students up and hurtle them towards the ground.

Griffin jumped off her platform and magically teleported them to safety, then teleported behind the Trix. She created a ball and sent it towards Icy, but Darcy, sensing the darkness, caught it, throwing herself in front of the other witch. She shrunk the ball and let it puff out between her fingers.

Icy's pupils shrunk in a rage and she sent a blizzard towards Griffin, pining her against the wall and freezing her lower body and hands. "In case you haven't gotten it yet, Ms. Griffin, we're in charge now."

"Witches of Cloud Tower, listen up!"

"We are about to effect several changes around here!"

"And if you don't like it, by all means, speak up!"

"We're open to criticism!"

"I'm a mess," Blaze groaned, lying flat on Y/n's bed. "I just hate this! I just...I wish I'd never come to Alfea! I was unable to use my power when I needed it most, and now the whole magic dimension is in serious jeopardy. I mean, the witches never would have found me and stolen the power and we wouldn't be in this mess and no one would be in danger. I mean, I've lost my powers." He was able to get up and hug Kiko, his eyes welling up. "I'm not a fairy. I'm not anything anymore. I'm sorry, you guys..."

"Blaze, you've literally done nothing the past few days but cry," Y/n pointed out. "Of course you feel useless." Her telephone rang on the receiver. "Of course..." she mumbled and picked it up. "Hello?"

"Hi, Y/n, can we talk?"

"Sorry, no."

"Oh...well, when can you -?"

"Listen, I gotta go. See you Brenda or Skylar or whoever you are."

Sky sighed, but put her phone away, walking off back to the training field. Riven had been creeping by, listening in. "No more friends, huh, Princess? Darcy will be happy to hear this."

"Riven! Over here!" Darcy called, waving him down when she saw him.

He parked his bike and jumped off, giving her a kiss to greet her. "You didn't call me back."

"I've been busy." Her arms were wrapped around his neck, leaning into his chest, uncharacteristically affectionate.

"Too busy for me?"

"Sorry..." She led him through the roof into Griffin's office, where Icy and Stormy were sitting on her desk, Stormy listening to music while Icy filled her nails. "You here to take me on another date?"

"Well, I was kind of hoping to, yeah." He wearily looked at his girlfriend's sisters, asking, "What's going on here?" Icy and Stormy began to laugh. When he looked back at Darcy, she only looked away, unable to face him. "Babe, what's happening here? I don't like this."

"Oh, Riven. You're still in the dark, aren't you?" Stormy jeered. "Don't you realize no one cares what you like?" She scratched a nail down his face, leaving a shallow cut.

"Stormy, don't!" Darcy warned, but she and Icy began to circle around him, still cackling.

"You should have stuck with dating pixies!"

"Haven't you heard, Riven? Witches make really bad girlfriends."

"We couldn't have done it without your help, though!"

"Your spying skills made all the difference in our power struggle with the fairies!"

"Darcy!" he yelled at her. "Darcy, please! This isn't funny!" She turned her back to him, trying not to show any sign of emotion.

"You're wrong, Riven. It's absolutely hilarious!"

"In case you haven't figured it out, she's breaking up with you."

"This is your fault."

"He's not taking this very well..."

"Darcy, come on! Can't we just talk about this?!"

Icy and Stormy watched her with anticipation, silently pressuring her. She drew in a breath, still turned around. "Sorry. No can do."

"Fine!" he yelled, his heart breaking. He drew his blade and swung it at her. All she did was put up a shield, finally looking back at him and his pained expression.

"I love you," she said for only him to hear.

It was the first time she had said it.

"That's strange," Tecna noted, looking out the window.

"What is it?" Stella asked.

"Those are siridul clouds."

"And that means...?"

"I'm not sure. All I know is the current air pressure wouldn't allow siridul clouds to form."

Rain hit Alfea, sending a swarm of bugs down with it. The students outside ran into the safety of their school. The Winx watched from the window, the bugs crawling up. Stella jumped back, shrieking. Light energy shattered the window, letting bugs crawl in the room. "Sorry, it was pure reflex," she explained.

The door swung open, Palladium having run to get any lingering students. "Everybody, let's get out of here! The school's under attack! We're evacuating the East Wing!"

Outside, some of the students were trying to use magic against the creatures, but they absorbed their energy, growing more powerful. Musa already looked like she was about to faint, getting spider flashbacks from Cloud Tower. Y/n squished one that crawled by her foot and she screamed. "We can't just let a bunch of bugs overrun our school!" she tried to tell her friends.

"But I...I can't help..." Blaze reminded her glumly.

"You can distract them while we transform. That'll give us enough time, k?"

"Alright. Go on, then."

Y/n let out a battle cry before putting out her arms.
Light blue armbands appeared, followed by tall boots. White and blue energy surrounded her body as she leaned back, her arm out and her face twisted in concentration, and gave her a darker top than hung loosely on her shoulders and a skirt.
Her head jerked up and a blue choker appeared with a diamond in the middle while blue - yet transparent - wings appeared behind her. She jolted back and landed on her feet, her arms held out in front of her as if she were about to shoot an energy beam.

Stella jumped around with peace signs, then threw her hands up with a huge smile.
Blue wristbands formed on her arms, followed by long orange boots and a headband that matched the bands. Her clothes were then changed to an orange tube top with one strap and short-shorts while her wings formed behind her.
Her eyes narrowed, then squinted. Letting out a cry, she spun around, her hair pinning itself into twintails with long, dark orange hairbands. She took a few steps back while her wings came into place and placed her hand behind her head, smiling fashionably.

Tecna chopped and punched at the air with her arms, then knelt on one knee, arms crossed in peace signs, emitting an energy from them.
Her hands went into a fist, a sleeve appearing on her arm with digital accompaniment. The same happened at her torso, a lavender bodysuit and high-heeled boots appearing, then with her pendant and wings, which were instead bars that wrapped around themselves. Finally, a matching helmet was placed on her head.
She opened her eyes, a glider coming out of the bars and letting her fly back, then dissipating when she landed, her hands on her hips.

The tiles under Musa lit up as she stepped on them. She twirled on the dance floor while they twinkled, then crossed her arms with peace signs.
Red boots appeared out of purple pixels. She threw up her hands, a red top with one strap coming in as the boots did with a thin pink cloth in between, covering her stomach.
She kicked her feet up while a music disk spun under her and her wings and a pair of headphones appeared, then stood on one foot, spinning around with the disk.

Flora tilted her head back as her body fell back, her hair blowing around her head. She crossed her hands above her head in peace signs.
A sparkly pink dress appeared with lighter petals for a skirt, followed by pink heels. A green choker appeared on her neck, followed by a flower on her chest. Instead of wristbands, long petals came onto her arms, the petal being the longer bit in the back.
She gave a small grin and spun around, putting her arms up while green translucent wings clipped to her back in a burst of a flower.

The Winx girls joined the other fairies in the battle. Stella used her scepter to smack them away while Musa created a disco ball to rain energy down on them. One of Flora's plants began to eat them whole.

The bugs began to grab at Squeaker's paws, pulling her closer. She yowled until the legs of the bugs froze and broke off. "Hands off by kitty!" Y/n yelled at them from the sky.

Once free, Squeaker jumped into Blaze's arms, who cuddled her. "I may have lost my powers, but I'll still protect my friends." One of the creatures grew and towered over Blaze, Squeaker's tail flicking while she popped, the boy's arms holding her closer.

While he ran, Y/n shot at it, not noticing behind her was another monster. But Tecna saw and shot at it, yelling, "Compu-Blast!" It was destroyed, Y/n hearing the explosion behind her.

She flew down to Blaze in front of him to shield him, Kiko having joined Squeaker in Blaze's arms. They screamed before they were grabbed, but someone shot him down into ashes, that someone being Palladium. "Light sword technique, fourth level of power. I'll teach you that next year."

"Can't wait," Y/n said with a thumbs-up.

Nothing was much better at Red Fountain, raining, as well, where even the student's phantom blades could barely hold up. Once of the boys tried to swing, but a monster grabbed him and would have choked him had Sky not been behind to slash, saving him. "Nice one, Princess Sky!" Brandon called, still in his own fight.

With his gun, Timmy was able to shoot a monster down as Brandon charged at another one. With her boomerang, Sky decapitated the monsters, buying time for Codatora to jump down and join the battle, whipping them on his way down. The demons pushed up against the shields, shoving the teenagers back.

The fight went on as a large ship appeared overhead. The doors opened, soldiers firing down at the young lord's command. He scanned the area, eyes landing on his beloved fianceé. "Princess Skylar!" he called. She stopped fighting long enough to see Dialvo above, his look betraying him and showing a look of worry. "We've come to get you out of here! You must save yourself, my princess! You can't see it, but this army is endless! Red Fountain will fall!"

"Then I will fall with it!" she insisted. "My place is here!"

"Don't be silly, you're a prince! Let these peasants fight for you! Well, what are you waiting for? Your duty is to rule! Your people need you! I need you!"

She shook her head, pained to do this to her oldest friend, and cut the rope that he had sent down for her. "My friends need me more!"

He growled at her stubbornness, then, without hesitation, drew his sword and jumped down, slashing one of the monsters. "Then I will protect you, my princess."

"My Lord!" a soldier called after him, but he killed one of the monsters that grabbed at Sky, eyes casting a deadly look.

"Anyone who wants Skylar has to get thrush me."

In the next chapter, the Trix's demands put Red Fountain in serious danger.
A mission to Domino is organized with a mysterious chaperone so Blaze can investigate his past and get the Dragon's Flame back. A dangerous mission begins for the fairies in the frozen, timeless land of Domino. What will happen to Blaze without his powers? How will he face the enemy?
