Betrayed!
In Magix, it is time for the Rose Festival. Musa has stayed at Alfea, lost in her memories, while Y/n, Blaze, Brenda, Sky, Stella, and Tecna have shared exciting times during a motorcycle race.
Riven, tricked by the Trix, accuses Y/n of causing his accident. He believes that Darcy has saved him so he leaves the group and goes away with her.
-
"Blaze...Blaze, we meet at last, my precious little angel."
In his Winx form, he looked at the giant figure in front of him, haunting every moment he was asleep. This was not the first dream he had had of her, nor did he think it would be the last.
"Where am I?" he asked, looking around. "This isn't the Realm of Magix."
"No and we don't have much time."
"Time for what? Who are you?"
"I am Daphne. Listen carefully, Blaze: You must come to me."
"But I...I..." He reached out and touched her nose, then his own, noticing a similarity.
"Yes, Blaze. Come to me! You must come to me!"
"Here I am!" She began to disappear in a light, leaving Blaze to shield his eyes. "I'm coming! Wait for me!"
-
The banging on the door was incessant. Only when Y/n got up, rubbing her eyes sleepily, did it soften, even then, only by a little. "I'm coming, I'm coming, calm your titties..." Flora, the light sleeper she was, yawned and followed.
She opened the door to a fairy of long hair that fell to his shoulder-blades, pale skin, and a deep, natural blush on his cheeks. The front of his fringes were dyed a dark blue, matching his eyes.
[Owned by u/space_disaster. I'm only using the template and the name, everything else will be changed. If he is uncomfortable with this, I will be more than happy to take it down.]
"Sūn?" Y/n asked sleepily. "What are you doing here? Do you have any idea what time it is?"
He pushed some of the hair away from his face, looking around nervously. "Um...B...Blaze...you're friends with him, aren't you?"
"Yes?"
"Well..." He bit his lip, trying not to stare at Flora in her lose-fitting nightgown. "He...I think he's in trouble..."
All sleepiness was lost and the girls were pulling their slippers on, rushing down the hall.
-
Sūn led them into his and Blaze's shared room, where Blaze was still asleep, distressed and yelling. "Don't go! I'm coming! Wait!" He was changing rapidly between his Winx form and civilian pajamas.
"Nothing like this has happened before," Y/n expressed to the other two, beginning to worry even more.
"I've...never seen anything like it myself," Sūn agreed. "I...I didn't know what to do..."
"Maybe we ought to do something. Let's get the others, maybe Tecna can do something to help her! She's good with this technical stuff," Flora suggested. "O - or Musa, she's an empath. O - or maybe..."
"Flora," Y/n tried, but she kept going.
"...maybe we should tell Ms. Griselda. No, maybe not. We'd only get in trouble for being in here and she wouldn't think twice about giving us a detention. Oh, no, I have a clean record!"
"Flora."
"U-uh, let's go and see Faragonda!"
"Flora."
"O - or maybe we shouldn't do anything at all! You know, like - like for a sleepwalker -"
"Flora Rosana of Linphea!" She grabbed her shoulders and began to shake her. "Get ahold of yourself, woman!"
"Y/n!" Blaze cried, waking up. "Flora! For crying out loud, what are you doing?! Do you know what kind of trouble you could get into?!"
Sūn pulled at his fingers, looking away sheepishly. "I - it was my fault...I'm sorry...I'll take them back to their rooms..."
-
"No, it wasn't a nightmare," Blaze insisted to the girls, except Stella, who was walking ahead, bored with the whole topic. "It wasn't really a dream either...I don't know."
"Try to give me more details," Tecna prodded.
"It's hard to explain, it was a lot more vivid than a dream -"
"Mm. Plastic cognitive projection with physio-chemical resonance." She pushed a button and let an electronic ladybug fly around him.
"There were colors everywhere. And then I saw a face and this beautiful woman."
Y/n shook him by the shoulder. "Blaze, are you in luuuurve?"
"What."
"Beautiful woman, hmmm?" She twirled around, teasing, leaning against his shoulder. "Oh, Brenda!" She raised her voice and pretended to faint into his arms. "My squire! I love you ~"
"That's not funny, Y/n, and it wasn't Brenda." He pushed her off, brushing her aside.
"Blaze, wait I'm sorry!" She ran to catch-up again. "You're just too easy!"
"Well, maybe you shouldn't tease him about that," Musa insisted, side-eyeing her.
"Oh, please, he used to do the same thing with me; it's not my fault he got so sensitive all of a sudden."
"It's okay, Musa..." he mumbled, kicking at the dirt with his shoe. "I know she means well. But really, I don't know who this woman is, Y/n, I swear." He then narrowed his eyes, addressing her and Flora. "And by the way, I'd appreciate it if you'd stop coming to my room at night."
Flora cringed away a little, guilt evident in her eyes. "I'm sorry, Blaze, we were worried, that's all."
"Well, still. I don't want you to get in trouble because of me."
Tecna spoke up again, pushing a few buttons in a device. "I've processed all the data from my my Dream Probe and there's a strong possibility that, that was a psycho-magic message."
"You mean the woman was trying to communicate with me?"
"Through your dream? Yes." The ladybug flew back into the device. "From the memory waves she left in your cortex, I came up with this." An image of the woman appeared perfectly, headdress and all. "So, what do you think? Is this her?"
"Wow, Tecna!" he exclaimed in awe of the projection. "You're a true-blue techno-wizard!"
She smiled a little at the compliment. "I'd rather be called a fairy. But thanks, anyway."
"I've seen her," Y/n said immediately, everyone now looking at her. Stella stopped to wait for them, checking her nails, annoyed that they had stopped. "In Magix, there was this dancer and I saw her transform into her...and she was calling your name, Blaze!"
"Mass-hallucination," Stella replied with a scoff.
"Our sanity is perfectly fine, Stella," Blaze insisted.
"It's okay, Blaze, really. After all, you've got too much on your plate, what with all the exams coming up, you've got a lot of study. And it makes sense for Y/n to think she saw it, too, since she had a weird dream the other night."
Shocked, Y/n glared at Flora. "That was a confidential conversation!"
"I'm sorry!" she squeaked, eyes shut and hunched over, intimidated. "I was worried, I just wanted a second opinion, that's all!"
"Anyway," Stella continued, flipping her hair before inspecting her pink French manicure. "It's perfectly logical, really. Blaze seems like he's always craving attention. Y/n was getting it and voila. Sudden nightmares."
His hand curled into a fist, which he used to punch his leg instead of Stella. "I've been having these dreams for weeks. I just didn't want to worry you."
"Boom, boom, boom. Always blowing things out of proportion."
"I can't believe you're saying I'm making this up! This is also why I didn't tell you!"
"Boom."
"I did, she was real! And I'll prove it to you!"
He ran back into the castle, Stella watching him go with a guilty look as she turned back to the others, who all looked deeply disappointed in her, Musa even shaking her head. "What? What did I say? Why the long faces?"
"I'll talk to him," Y/n said and ran after him, the others still glaring at Stella.
"What?"
-
"Blaze!" Y/n called, running around the castle halls. "Blaze? C'mon, you know how Stella can get! Let's talk about this!"
She then heard yells from the library, followed by, "Ms. Barbatea!"
"Blaze," she realized and ran after him, almost knocking over the librarian as she came sprinting out as fast as her high-heels would let her.
"Ms. Faragonda!" she cried, running down the hall.
Y/n kicked the library door open and ran to the source of the windy noises, finding Blaze stuck in the middle of a book-tornado. "Um, hang on! I'll get you out of there! Um...Cone of Cold?" She tried to cast it to slow the books, only to be caught in the tornado, Blaze instinctively wrapping his arms around her to shield her.
"Closeus."
The books stopped, Ms. Faragonda standing in front of them, looking around at the mess. "I'd say the library's research system needs a complete overhaul." She saw Blaze stumble over to her, bringing him into a hug. "It's okay, Blaze. It's all over."
"The Golden Gate was about to open!" Barbetta cried, Faragonda glancing her way. 'If something had happened to those books, I could never forgive myself! All those powerful texts written by and for magicians!"
"Yeah, not to mention two students almost getting hurt," Y/n replied with a sarcastic smile that she tried to mask as a sweet one.
"Yes, but -"
"There's no cause for alarm," Faragonda insisted, pulling away from the fairy. "You okay, Blaze?"
"I think so..."
"And Y/n?" Her glance changed to Y/n, who was brushing herself off.
"I'm totally fine, ma'am. Really." She picked up one of the books, looking curiously.
Daphne - a feminine name of Dominion origins meaning "laurel tree"
'Dominion?'
She took another book as Blaze left, still a bit shaken up. "Ms. Faragonda, would it be okay if I borrowed this?"
"Of course, dear."
She took it, beginning to flip through the pages.
Daphne, one of the nine nymphs of Magix, the supreme fairies who ruled over the Magic Dimension during the eons following the Dragon's disappearance. She protected not only the Dragon Flame, but any essence that the Ice Dragon had left behind.
"What the heck is the Dragon Flame?"
Hearing her as she left, Faragonda picked up one of the old books. "Ms. Barbetta," she began. "Don't be too hard on Y/n. She loves him. But I must ask that you shut the library and don't use magic. After what happened, you never know."
"Shut the library?" she asked on disbelief, dropping a book. "Don't use magic?!"
"That's right. I hope you don't have a problem with that."
"Yes! I mean, no!"
-
"I don't understand, I didn't say anything wrong," Stella insisted, shrugging her shoulders. "I just made an innocent remark, that's all."
"Define innocent," Flora insisted, turning away from her.
Angered, Stella began to raise her voice. "Follow your plants' example and be quiet, alright?!"
"My plants know better than to speak before thinking!"
Across the room, Tecna was busy combining her bangs while Musa studied at her desk, her pencil in her mouth. But of course, Stella decided to pick on her, anyway. "Don't you start Musa or else I'll -"
"Or else what?" She stood, ready to get into a yelling match over nothing.
"Or else I'll talk about something else. Like boys, for instance."
"Boring! Now if you'll excuse me, I've got stuff to read for tomorrow and this is my room."
But she leaned in, insisting that she join the conversation. "Oh, come on, Musa, close that book and spill the beans. Like, we all know that whenever she sees Timmy, our friend Tecna blushes from head to toe."
"What?!" She stopped combing suddenly, getting the comb stuck in her bangs. Rising to her feet, she shouted, "That is not true!"
"And it's obvious Blaze is having a crisis choosing between Brenda and Y/n. Personally, I'd go with whoever's cuter, which is obviously Y/n, but I guess it depends on if he's more into fairies or Specialists. As for me, I admit I do find Sky kind of cute, but that's it. Now let's talk about Riven." She leaned closer to Musa, seductively suggesting with her arms on the bed and her eyes batting flirtatiously. "Riven, mmmm."
She pulled the book closer to her face, insisting, "I gotta study."
"He doesn't even look at you."
"Stella!" Flora yelled. "Stop it!"
"Chill, Flora. You're only jealous that no hunk wants you. And I was just asking if -"
"What did I just say?!" She stood so fast, Stella fell over, letting out a cry. "I don't care about stupid boys!"
"It was just a joke!" she tried, laughing out off. Her blond hair was spread everywhere. "And anyway, since the Day of the Rose, the only one Riven cares about is Darcy. Of course, you didn't know that, you weren't with us. He clearly thinks she's cuter than you. Musa, just get rid of those pigtails, acquire some better denim, and don't forget make-up; the right mascara can do absolute wonders, even get Riven to call you."
Musa began to tear up upon hearing that Riven had been with Darcy, a girl who had been tormenting her and her friends since the beginning of the school year. "So what?! I don't care what they do! I am over him!" But she ran out of the room with her head in her hands, crying out the door.
Flora and Tecna were glaring down at Stella, who watched Musa leave in confusion. "Why are you all looking at me like that? What did I say?"
"Stella!"
-
Still engrossed in the book, Y/n continued to read allowed, Squeaker on her shoulder, refusing to get her paws dirty. "Daphne and nine other nymphs [see Politea, Book 5] ruled over Magix, watching over the dimension. She died protecting her baby brother from an attack on their home planet -"
She bumped into Musa, bending over to pick up the book. "Hey, Muse. Listen, I know you're into books, so -" Seeing her in tears, she stopped talking, watching her walk away with her hands in her pockets. "Hey, what's wrong? Musa, are you okay?"
"I'm fine!" she insisted, not stopping.
"Hm..." She put her hand on Squeaker's cheek, letting her rub up against it. "Do you know what could be wrong with her, baby?"
She was about to go after her, but Stella came sprinting out the door, knocking both of them down. Squeaker hissed and popped at the dirt, zipping to Alfea's staircase.
"Oh, Y/n! I'm so sorry!" Stella cried, grabbing her hands to help her up, squeezing them in hers.
"It's okay, Stel, things happen."
"No, no, I'm talking about earlier! I was acting really rotten!"
"Oh, that. Well..."
"I have to apologize to Musa, too. Do you know where she is?"
"I think she went that way." She pointed in the direction their friend went. "She looked really upset; what did you say to her?"
"Oh, no, don't say that! Musa!" She ran after her, only to find a bus leaving. "No, she took the bus! She's gone. Now who's gonna go and get her? That was the last bus of the day!"
Y/n went over to her, putting an arm around her. "Stella, what exactly did you say?"
"Um..." She looked at her for a minute, then looked away. "Riven...?"
"Ugh, Stella!"
"I know! I still have to apologize to Blaze, too. For teasing him..."
"I'm sure he'll appreciate it," Y/n said as they began to walk back into the school.
"By the way, what did you do to your hair? Brush it with an egg beater?"
"Stella!"
-
"Magix Station."
Musa got off, standing there a moment longer as the bus left, her hands in her pockets. "Stella can be so obnoxious sometimes," she said to herself, finally moving, kicking a can in the sidewalk, not noticing a woman starting at her. "I can't stand it! And she's crazy if she thinks I care about Riven!" She stopped when she saw people staring at her, beginning to blush. "See what she makes me do? Now I'm talking to myself!"
She kept going, past a café currently filled with witches, and pressed her face against the glass to take a look. That was when she saw Riven at one of the tables with Darcy, giggling girlishly. "Babe," she heard her say, still laughing.
'No...this can't be true...Riven is with Darcy?! That...that witch!'
"I can call you babe, can't I?" Darcy continued to ask from inside. "Because, I mean, you are the hottest guy in Red Fountain. You've got brains and you're so full of potential." Her finger traced the rim of the mug as she slipped in a little, "It's too bad, though."
"What's too bad?" Riven asked, setting his own mug down.
"The fact that your, uh, talent, your energy, your ambition and courage, your potential, I mean, should be wasted at Red Fountain. You could be so much more. If you were one of us, you could be even more powerful."
"Hmm...go on." He rested his cheek against his palm.
"For us, all that matters is knowing that we can count on you. The rest will come all by itself."
He leaned back, still listening intently.
"You see, we don't like the little fairies who call themselves Winx. We don't like their friends either. We agree on this, don't we?" She reached across the table, putting her hand on his, which only made Musa begin to cry again. "But as of today, you and I will be together. Bound by...magic." She deepened their connection by gazing into his eyes, her gaze softening in his. "And I don't ever want to lose this bond."
Musa began to back up, right next to Icy. "Well, well. Look who's here."
On the other side of her was Stormy. "Why, it's the one with the pigtails."
She tried to walk away without engaging. "Please, not today, okay? I don't fe -"
"Not so fast." Icy put a hand in front of Musa, glaring at her through her normal heavy makeup. "Where do you think you're going?"
"Back to Alfea. Civilization," she insisted, going around, but Icy grabbed her wrist, pulling her back.
"No, you're not. First, we wanna know why you were spying on our friend, Darcy."
She pulled her hand away, raising her voice. "I wasn't spying on anyone! Especially not Darcy!"
She tried to leave again, but now Stormy was blocking her way. "Trust Icy to recognize a spy when she sees one."
"I bet you were watching Riven," Icy pushed, stepping closer and sadistically grinning when she saw Musa's face contort into distress. "You've got a crush on him, don't you?"
"Leave me alone!" She tried to hold back tears in front of the witches.
"Silly girl. You know, the other day, Riven said he thinks nothing of you. Absolutely nothing."
That was enough to get the tears to spill out of her eyes and her hand to raise, coming down on Icy's cheek with a loud slapping sound and getting the witches in the café to look over at the commotion.
"Ouch!" Icy yelled, her eyes closed. Any amusement was now gone as she seethed, a handprint on her cheek. "She...she slapped me!"
Stormy leaned in, pointing at it. "Whoa! I can even see the prints of her fingers! Does it hurt?"
"Of course it hurts!"
Musa had gasped at what she had done, backing away. "I'm so sorry, Icy! I didn't mean to hurt you!"
"You! You are going to pay for this!" She snapped her fingers at a witch behind her. "Hey, you! Fetch the others. We need to teach this little Winx pixie a lesson she won't soon forget."
"What do you wanna do?" Stormy asked.
Musa was back on the offense, standing here ground. "Yeah, what's wrong with you, Icy? You need backup to fight me?"
"I don't want to fight, sweetie. I just want to give your facial attributes a little magic treatment. With help from the entire Cloud Tower senior class."
-
Liss ran into the café then, calling out, "Hey, girls! Wanna have some fun? Icy's gonna teach a fairy a lesson. Let's go!"
At one of the tables, Lucy began to get up, Mirta reaching across for her hand. "Lucy, where are you going? Stay with me, honey. It's stupid to gang up on someone."
"Icy's a powerful senior, Mirta. Maybe she'll notice me this time. I don't wanna miss this." She pulled away from her hand and ran outside, leaving Mirta to be the only witch to remain.
-
"Congratulations, Stella! Musa's gone and you don't know what bus she took!"
"The only bus that stops here is the one from Magix. It's a no-brainer, Flora."
"Yeah, but she could get off anywhere!"
"Do you need a prince, my princesses?"
Sky got off the aircraft, his gaze immediately on Stella, who had hearts in her eyes. "Sky!"
Tecna only blinked at her fawning over the prince. "Yes, we all saw him. We all know his name. No need to yell."
Her tune was changed when Timmy jumped off next, greeting her. "Hey, Tecna."
"Hi, Timmy," she responded, sounding flustered.
Brenda jumped down next to them, already smiling like usual. "Hey, there! We saw you at the bus stop and we thought maybe you needed a ride."
"Actually, yeah," Y/n said, stopping Blaze from greeting her. "We were on our way to Magix. Long story short, we need to find Musa."
"Riven is not with you?" Flora asked.
Sky visibly cringed at the name. "Riven? After what happened at the Rose Ball, he's outta the group."
"He decided to join another squad of Specialists, which is fine by us," Timmy added, not wanting to say anything inherently mean, but glad that peace had been restored amongst the group.
"We were actually heading to Magix right now," Brenda said, trying to change the subject. "You can fill us in on the way. Come on."
-
"There she is. They're after her and she's stuck in a dead-end."
Y/n looked out the window, where she saw Musa being cornered by the witches. "Sky, open a window. Quick!"
"But -"
"Don't question me!"
He opened the window, Y/n immediately jumping out. "Magic Wiiiiiinx!"
-
Y/n let out a battle cry before putting out her arms.
Light blue armbands appeared, followed by tall boots. White and blue energy surrounded her body as she leaned back, her arm out and her face twisted in concentration, and gave her a darker top than hung loosely on her shoulders and a skirt.
Her head jerked up and a blue choker appeared with a diamond in the middle while blue - yet transparent - wings appeared behind her. She jolted back and landed on her feet, her arms held out in front of her as if she were about to shoot an energy beam.
-
She landed on her feet in front of Musa, her hands out.
"Y/n!" she cried.
"Don't worry, girl, I've got your back. Wind Chill!" The witches that were caught in her wind got pushed back, stalling for the others to land and arrive, which pissed Icy and Stormy off.
"Guys!" she cried, running to them.
"Musa!"
"Brenda!" Riven shoved past the crowd of witches, all drawn to his dark energy and rugged handsomeness. "Now, let's see if you're gonna be tough with me, too." He pulled out his blade, coming closer yet to the squire.
"You wanna play rough, huh?" She drew her own phantom-blade, her hair blowing back from her face. "Well, if that's what it want. You've lost your mind and now you're going to lose this fight."
"Bring it on, little girl!"
While they fought with their swords, the witches ran at the fairies, stopped by a barrier created by Sky with his sword. He grinned at them, giving them a wink. Although they were blushing, they looked away from him, trying to find a way around.
It began to snow, dark energy coming from Icy's hands with Stormy providing the lightening.
"Transform. Quick!" Y/n urged. "I'm still not great with my magic, but I'll try to hold off the blizzard."
-
Blaze spun in a circle with his hands up, twirling.
He clapped and crossed his hands, arm bands appearing and sleeves coming from his undershirt. With his hands held out, another shirt came in, this one only covering his top and with a yellow pendant on his chest. His pants and boots appeared along with it.
He turned his head and his wings appeared. Straightening, a small crown was placed on his head that matched the pendant. He flew up and landed on his feet, one hand on his hips as his eyes narrowed.
-
Flora tilted her head back as her body fell back, her hair blowing around her head. She crossed her hands above her head in peace signs.
A sparkly pink dress appeared with lighter petals for a skirt, followed by pink heels. A green choker appeared on her neck, followed by a flower on her chest. Instead of wristbands, long petals came onto her arms, the petal being the longer bit in the back.
She gave a small grin and spun around, putting her arms up while green translucent wings clipped to her back in a burst of a flower.
-
The tiles under Musa lit up as she stepped on them. She twirled on the dance floor while they twinkled, then crossed her arms with peace signs.
Red boots appeared out of purple pixels. She threw up her hands, a red top with one strap coming in as the boots did with a thin pink cloth in between, covering her stomach.
She kicked her feet up while a music disk spun under her and her wings and a pair of headphones appeared, then stood on one foot, spinning around with the disk.
-
Stella jumped around with peace signs, then threw her hands up with a huge smile.
Blue wristbands formed on her arms, followed by long orange boots and a headband that matched the bands. Her clothes were then changed to an orange tube top with one strap and short-shorts while her wings formed behind her.
Her eyes narrowed, then squinted. Letting out a cry, she spun around, her hair pinning itself into twintails with long, dark orange hairbands. She took a few steps back while her wings came into place and placed her hand behind her head, smiling fashionably.
-
Tecna chopped and punched at the air with her arms, then knelt on one knee, arms crossed in peace signs, emitting an energy from them.
Her hands went into a fist, a sleeve appearing on her arm with digital accompaniment. The same happened at her torso, a lavender bodysuit and high-heeled boots appearing, then with her pendant and wings, which were instead bars that wrapped around themselves. Finally, a matching helmet was placed on her head.
She opened her eyes, a glider coming out of the bars and letting her fly back, then dissipating when she landed, her hands on her hips.
-
Before anything even happened, Tecna was the first to get hit by Stormy, falling on her back.
"Tecna!" Timmy cried, rushing to her side and lifting her from behind. "Tecna, you okay?"
"Rrrrrgh...Anti-Freeze!" The ground under Stormy turned to ice, causing her to slip on her heels.
Before she could freeze her where she stood, Icy shot a barrage of ice crystals at her. "Manipulate this, little pixie!"
She flew away from it, trying to hide behind a car, which Icy immediately blew up.
"Y/n!" Musa began to fly over to help her, but was blocked by Darcy, who put up illusion barriers that she tried to get around. To keep her from getting past, she teleported next to her and growled, knocking her over.
"Riven is mine!" She split herself into multiplies, ready to finish off her only real competition, until she felt a blade slice through them. Losing energy, are fainted.
Sky sighed in relief when he saw that she was okay, only to get pummeled by a group of witches. He slid over to Musa, face upward.
"Thanks, Prince Sky."
"Don't mention it.
Blaze evaded an attack from Stormy, which hit Flora instead, sending her crashing into one of the buildings below, unconscious.
"Flora!" Enraged, he threw a fireball at Stormy, hitting her in the thigh. By instinct, she slapped it, a windstorm picking up around her and trapping Blaze. "Urgh, that was my fave skirt!"
Timmy was still by Tecna, still out cold. "Tecna..." He brushed her bangs away from her face, then felt for a pulse, still there. He did not notice the ice that Icy sent to freeze them.
Coughing, Musa pulled Y/n and dragged her out of the fire by the car. Once they got out, she fainted in front of it from smoke inhalation. Musa would have helped her, if Darcy had not appeared in front of her at that moment. She picked up all the cars and let them spin around Musa, even when she tried to fly away, and hit her as hard as she could, letting her fall next to Y/n, bloodied and with a few crushed ribs.
Stella managed to stop Icy from freezing over Tecna and Timmy, which was only then when he realized that she had been after them, pulling Tecna closer. "You're going to be okay..." he whispered in her ear.
Blaze saw Darcy about to crush Musa and Y/n, plus the fire around then. "Y/n, Musa!" He tried to fly out of the windstorm to get to them, only for Stormy to block him.
"Where do you think you're going? Your little harem is dead."
"Step. Aside," he growled, a flame growing in his hand. When he released it, he ended up hitting the Trix and blinding everyone else. With his other hand, he absorbed the for from the car.
Stormy and Icy fell next to each other, Icy mumbling, "It's him..." repeatedly.
Darcy landed by Riven, who rushed to her side. "Darcy!" He threw her arm around his shoulder, picking her up and helping her to leave. "Babe, come on."
When they ran away and all the fire was absorbed, Blaze fell in front of Brenda, in civilian clothes, who offered him a hand. "Blaze?"
"Brenda...where's...oh..." He let himself drop to the sidewalk, now unconscious.
-
"How are you feeling?" Brenda asked Blaze, handing him a cup of water.
He took a few sips. "Much better, thanks." He looked back at Y/n, who was next to Musa and Flora, Flora having casted a temporary healing spell on her ribs until they could get back to Alfea. "Musa, you're the one who took a beating. And Y/n, all that smoke..."
"Don't worry, I'm fine. I'm more concerned about you, Mr. Magic. I didn't see much, but I saw this awesome red energy! That had to be you. I mean, just look at the hair!"
"Haha, very funny."
Musa, silently, got up and went to the back of the aircraft while everyone else was still engrossed in conversation except Y/n, who followed her into the cargo, finding her facing the window. "Musa?"
She saw her fists shake, then her shoulders. "I...I really liked him..."
She went behind her and put her arms around her shoulders. "I know, Musa. I'm sorry."
Turning, she let Y/n envelope her into a hug as she started to sob. "I thought maybe he could fall in love with me I'm so sorry to have put you all through that oh Riven...!"
She played with her pigtails, gently bouncing them off her hands. "I know, Musa. It's okay."
-
In the next chapter, the exams continue at school. Will Blaze be able to pass the test in Palladium's simulation chamber? But what are the Trix planning? Even Kiko has some difficult moments ahead.
