An Unexpected Event

written: 02.10.24-

Once upon a time...

"Y/n?!" a voice called from the hallway. "Y/n, wake up! Emergency!"

Y/n rolled over towards the wall, mumbling, "Five more minutes..."

"Y/n, I'm serious we might all die!"

Grumbling, Y/n threw the blankets off herself and took two steps at a time to the bottom floor. There in the huge room, specifically the living room area, a small fire had started on the sculpture on the table and her brother stood behind, waving his arms like a madman.

While he rambled on some incoherent nonsense about how he had just paid off their debt, his sister calmly got the fire extinguisher, aimed, and fired, putting out the fire.

His arms lowered and a look of relief crossed his face.

"Dumbass," was all she said before putting the extinguisher back and moping back up the stairs.

"Wait!" He jogged over and caught her by the sleeve, trying to pull her back. "Come on, don't run off, kid. It's summer! Have some fun, for god sake!"

"Too tired. Need sleep."

"Wait, hang on." He forced her back into the living room and took his wallet from the table. Walking back over, he handed her a fifty. "Go out with Blaze."

"Pardon?" Could a girl and a guy just be friends around here?

"I don't know, just...go out. Do stuff around. Be a kid. You're not sleeping the whole summer again."

Part of her debate on pocketing the money. The other part liked the sound of unburnt pancakes. In the end, the pancakes won.

"Thanks, Spencer. Call Blaze for me?"

He gave her a confused look. "But he's your boyfriend."

"He is not. See you later. Come on, Squeaker." She walked out of the apartment, followed by a small kitten, careful not to get her paws dirty, Spencer silently shipping them from his spot in the living room.

-

Squeaker jumped into the basket on Y/n's bicycle, licking her paws while Y/n peddled then into town.

On the side of the road in his own bike sat a redhead, gazing around, bored, until he saw her. "Y/n! Over here!" he waved her over, grinning brightly at her.

"Blaze!"

A rabbit sat in his basket, peeking out at her. Seeing Squeaker, he jumped into her basket with an excited cheer, Squeaker jumping from the sudden rabbit in her basket.

"Kiko." Blaze took him out and put him back, then turned back to Y/n. "Hey, Y/n. Good summer?"

"Yeah, I guess." She peddled faster, snickering as she heard Blaze peddle harder to catch-up.

They stopped near a road, where a girl called out to them. She wore fashionable glasses and a bead in her hair. Her face, although pretty, looked sour.

"Hey, Y/n!"

"Oh god, no..."

The other teen looked down her nose condensingly at 'Gardenia High's Geek Couple'. Actually, she was the only one to ever call them that.

"Isn't it time to sell that two-wheeled relic to the junk pile?"

She sucked in her breath before answering as patiently as she possibly could, "There's nothing wrong with this bike. My brother bought it for me."

"Oh, you poor girl." She shook her head to look away in superiority. "Of course, I don't mean poor as in not rich, even though that is what you are." She laughed mockingly at her, Y/n feeling her eye twitch.

Next to her, Blaze's breathing picked up as he listened to the bitch talk to his bestie like that. "Yo, Mitzi!" he yelled at her.

She glanced at him just in time to get smacked in the face with an apple. "Gah!"

"Peddle peddle peddle!" he yelled, Y/n blindly obeying while Squeaker squeaked the whole way.

YOU'RE MAGIC NOW

As they escaped, Blaze managed to get out, "Sorry, that was meant for you."

"You know what? It was worth it." As a last-minute thought, she requested, "Hey, Blaze, if I ever miraculously her powers, remind me to turn her into a monkey."

He laughed at the stupidity of her joke, but agreed, "It's a deal."

-

Upon coming to 'their spot' in the park, Y/n leaned her bike against a tree, taking Squeaker out, who hissed at the ground, opting to stay on her lap instead. Petting her, she offered to Kiko, "Go find an acorn, Kiko, and I'll toss it around with you."

"But stick around, alright?" Blaze let Kiko run off and sat next to Y/n by a tree, Blaze took out another apple and a offered it to her. "You want this one?"

"Nah, I'm saving room for pancakes."

"Ah." He took a bite, then asked almost comically, "Spencer still burning them?"

"Yeppers."

"Mmm...so. We're spending the summer together, right?" he asked, suddenly changing the topic, focusing internally on that apple. "I mean, it's just the same old lake I go to with my parents every year, but it would be cool if you came with, y'know?"

Y/n giggled, holding Squeaker up and rubbing noses with her. "I wouldn't want to be with anyone else."

"Well aren't you sweet." It was more of a statement than a question.

He put an arm around her and pulled her into a hug. "Really, I'm glad you're coming with us this year. Otherwise, it'd be as boring as usual."

She was about to say something set back, until Kiko ran to them, ruining the moment.

"AAAAAAAHHH!!!"

Kiko fell at Blaze's feet, then got up, pulling at his jeans.

"Damnit, Kiko, for the millionth time: Squirrels. Are not. Scary," Y/n sighed while Squeaker watched Kiko hesitantly.

Blaze stood and brushed off his pants. "What's wrong, Kiko?"

He pointed desperately, Blaze going to see what it was. Y/n followed, holding onto Squeaker, who would have probably lost it if she was put on the ground in normal circumstances.

-

"Hiya!" a blonde screamed, using her scepter to ward off a bunch of small red demon creatures. "Hiya! Rising sun!" A blast of yellow energy came out of the ball of the scepter when she held it up, blasting them back. "Hiya!"

"Wow!" Blaze somehow managed to exclaim.

"So you saw that, too?" Y/n asked, tugging at his arm, not realizing that Kiko had fainted.

"Solar wind!" Wind picked up and threw the rest of the demons back. She held it up threateningly at the ogre. "Go away, you villain, or you
will feel the magic of the sun and moon fairy!"

"Fairy?" Y/n asked as he growled at her and ran, knocking her a few feet backwards. "Oh my goodness!" She hid in Blaze's shoulder.

"Your time's up, fairy. Ghoulies, take the scepter!"

The red demons grabbed her limbs and covered her face, ripping the scepter away from her and brought it to the ogre. He stomped over, getting in her face. "Hm. Not so brave now, are you?"

"Let her go!" Blaze had stepped out, Y/n still behind him. "Or else we'll..." He looked back at Y/n, his confidence more confusion. "Wait, what are we going to do?"

She shook her head, taking a few running steps backwards. "Why are you asking me?!"

"GET THEM!" the ogre boomed. As the ghouls ran after them and got closer, Blaze stepped in front of Y/n, holding out his hands. A red shield protected them, sending the ghouls bouncing backwards.

Once it died down, Blaze looked at his hands, confused. "Huh? Did - did I just do that?"

Excited, Kiko, revived, did karate moves while Squeaker nodded in approval, not realizing a ghoul was rising above her. She noticed and shrunk back.

Y/n tapped the ghoul on the shoulder. "Hey. Hands off Squeaker!" Using a branch, she beat him away. Hitting the tree, he turned to fairy dust.

Angered, the ogre grabbed her by the hands, pulling her away. "Come here! Or I'll smash you like a china doll!"

"Y/n!" Blaze cried.

"LET GO!!!" she screamed. A strong, white energy surrounded them, one that Blaze and the other fairy had to look away from. They all got pushed back, energy zapping around Y/n.

The blond fairy stood up and reclaimed her scepter, then stood over Y/n. "Are you okay?"

She looked up, not sure if she should pinch herself or Blaze. "Um...I think so, yeah."

Turning back to the ogre, she held the scepter out at him, triumphantly claiming, "I have my scepter back! You don't scare me anymore!" With a flash of bright yellow magic, she knocked him back. "Only returning the compliment, Your Beast."

The ghoul demons, seeing this, jumped at her.

"Watch out!" Blaze cried, pulling Y/n out of the way.

"Rrrrr..." She twirled the weapon above her, letting out a cry and sending them back, the demons poofing into sparkles. She twirled it and set it on the ground.

Kiko did the same with a small stick, confident, but screamed when he saw the remaining ghouls tugging at Blaze's pants, ripping off a piece of cloth.

They ran back to the ogre, who, realizing his defeat, clapped his hands. "Hmph. We'll meet again, Blondie." He and the smaller monsters disappeared, leaving Blaze, Y/n, and the blond girl, who panted.

"Thank goodness, they're gone at last," she said before fainting, transforming into a normal outfit without wings and her hair out of the pigtails she had been wearing and sprawled all around her.

"Hey!" Blaze called, kneeling over her. "Are you alright? Answer me!"

"Okay, um..." Y/n picked her legs up. "Try taking her arms or something. We can take her back to your place. Or my place. Or...any place."

-

"Knut! Come forward!" a voice demanded from the dark.

The ogre stepped up hesitantly, ready to get screamed at by the three girls.

"You have failed."

"It's not my fault, Your Highness," he argued, explaining, "I had the scepter in my hands,
but then these earthling kids appears and messes everything up."

"Earthling kids?" another voice asked.

"Oh, but they were not your ordinary earthing kids," he tried to convince. "They had powers, these kids! One pushed back my ghouls, just like that, and the other, oh, her hair turned spikey." He lifted his hands to emphasize.

"Spikey hair? But that's impossible, since..."

"Quite sister!" the first yelled at the newest voice, then turned it back to Knut. "Describe them."

"Um, well, let's see. They were, uh..."

"Knut, your glasses, where are they?"

Knut took out a pair of square-framed glasses from his overall pocket. "Uh, right here, Highness."

"Well, put them on, you dolt!"

He did, although he felt his face heat up, hearing them mock him.

"A nearsighted ogre. How ridiculous!"

"If only he'd wear his glasses, then he'd be alright."

"Oh, will you stop defending him?!"

He took his hands away from the frames. "An ogre with glasses is kind of lame..." he admitted a little quietly.

"Quiet! These kids could mean something to us."

Remembering, he piped up, "Oh, but, Highness, don't worry. One of my ghouls grabbed this." He took out the cloth that had been taken from Blaze. "It's a piece of one of their clothing. To us, this is nothing. But to a hunting troll, it's an important clue."

A blue troll came out and took the cloth, smelling it. His pupils dilated and let out a growl.

"You see?"

"Good. Go back to Gardenia
and find the kids. And this time..."

"Don't let us down!" they finished together. Sheepishly, he nodded, knowing what would happen if he did.

-

"Blaze, I'm not sure I understand. Could you run that by me again?" his father asked, the girl sleeping on Blaze's couch. Vanessa, Blaze's mother, was next to them, Y/n by the girl on the couch, making sure the fairy was okay. Spencer had come over once Mike and Vanessa had called, sitting by Y/n to make sure she was okay.

"She's a fairy..." Spencer repeated, trying to think. "Is that, like, a goth or something?"

He sighed. "No, guys, I already told you. She was attacked by some horrible creature. She's some kind of fairy."

He - Mike - rubbed his chin, nodding along. "Hm. I see."

Hopefully, Blaze asked, "You believe me, then?"

"No, I don't!" he yelled, Blaze cringing at the tonal shift. "I think we should call the police and take this girl straight to the hospital!"

"N - no...! Please..." the girl began to wake up, rubbing her head. "Don't tell anyone."

"She's coming to," Vanessa observed, leaning over slightly to take a better look. "How do you feel, dear?"

"Huh? I'm alright. Thanks for helping me out." She sat up, looking around.

"It was nothing," Y/n responded, helping her keep herself up. "Well, maybe not nothing, but we're happy to do it, anyway."

She looked around at everyone standing over her and introduced herself. "My name is Stella."

"Hi, Stella. My name is Blaze." Although he tried to remain calm, Blaze was trying not to freak out about a real fairy in his house. It had been his and Y/n's dream to be real fairies as children, but they had lost their belief only a few years back, but never their love.

"Y/n," Y/n added, backing up a little to give her some air.

"Should we call your parents, Stella?" Vanessa offered.

"Um, that would be difficult. I come from a place that's
a bit far from here. Have you heard of Solaria? It's a kingdom six realms away. I'm a fairy, you know. I was trying to get to Alfea Castle, in the Realm of Magix. So I -"

"Oh, but of course!" Mike cut in like these people were crazy. He marched over to the phone, declaring, "I'm calling the police. It doesn't take a genius to realize this girl is clearly out of her mind!"

With a hmph, Stella waved hand, turning the phone into a carrot and the holder into a head of lettuce. Mike let out a cry, looking at both on horror. "Huh?"

"Alright. Do you believe me now?"

"We saw her and we believe her," Blaze spoke up as Y/n put her hand on Stella's shoulder and studied her outfit. It was an orange two-piece and a headpiece, likely Solarian fashion.

"Those creatures attacked me and
I was forced to land here, on your planet. Your son and your sister saved my life. They pushed back the ghouls
with an energy shield and some strange power I haven't seen before."

"You don't even know what that was?" Y/n asked, kind of impressed with herself.

"Actually, I don't know how we did it," Blaze admitted.

Stella offered up, "A fairy doesn't need to know how, they just do it, that's all."

"We're...fairies?" Y/n asked, unable to believe it. She looked at Blaze, who had the same look at her as he glanced back, then looked upward.

"Of course you are. Don't tell me you're not. Have you registered for the new program at Alfea Castle? It's the best school for young fairies like you and me."

"Wait wait wait slow down." Spencer put his hands on Y/n's shoulders, eyeing her seriously. "Y/n. You are my sister, adopted or not. And I am not sending you - what was it - six realms away."

"But Spencer please just hear her out," she begged. "I'm a fairy! I have powers! And maybe I can actually, y'know, fit in there?"

"No!" Mike finally yelled. "Stop talking nonsense, please!"

-

"So, this is your room, huh?" Stella asked Blaze, looking around. "Wish I could see yours, Y/n. Wow, did you draw these?" She looked through Blaze's sketches of fairies.

"Yes. Well, Y/n gave me a few."

She nodded, then gave him a sly look. "So she's your girlfriend then?"

Jolting, he glanced at her, Y/n looking towards the door instead of at them. "Uh, no, she's just a friend."

"Oh. Sorry, I'm a bit nosey."

"It's okay..." Y/n responded.

Taking her eyes off the pictures, she turned back to them, looking them up and down. "Alfea does have boys, but it's mostly girls, so you'll have your pick there."

"Right," he responded, barely listening. "I'm sorry, Stella, but I just can't bring myself to understand what happened at the park."

She smiled at him, touching his shoulder. "Blaze, you and Y/n used your powers to save me. You should be proud of yourselves. In my world, magic is a part of life. And powers, such as yours, are perfectly normal. Strong feelings, such as fear, have summoned up the wonderful powers in both of you. They were always there, you just didn't know it. It's just a question of concentration. With your energy, you could do anything. Watch!" She waved her hands, taking all of Blaze's pencils and put them into one giant crayon. "Okay, now it's your turn. Give them back their original shape."

First, Blaze tried. When nothing happened, Y/n tried to help him.

"Well?"

"Nothing. We can't do it. Not even together." He sat on his bed with a defeated sigh.

"You should come with me to Alfea Castle," she decided, rearranging the pencils back together. "It's a school for fairies. A new session is about to start. You could learn to control your powers. And I'm sure you would make excellent fairies."

"Yeah, we could all form a group and you could be our token boy," Y/n joked.

"Funny," he responded with an eye roll, then back to Stella, "Where is Alfea?"

"Well, It's sort of in a parallel dimension. You go to the inner realm of the enchanted ring and then you...look, why don't you come with me and I'll show it to you." She took out a piece of paper. "This is a bottomless postcard. Watch this. Magic!" She threw it onto the ground, letting it expand. "Now follow me." Stepping onto it, she began to sink in.

"Holy Toledo!" Y/n yelled as Stella disappeared.

"Uh, okay...we just jump in like you?" Y/n asked, stepping onto it. Blaze followed, his arms tightly around her waist. "Oh!"

"Yes! Hurry up before the gate closes! Don't worry, almost no one gets lost between dimensions."

They sunk down, sucked into an entirely different dimension, where a grand pink palace stood with accents of blue and forests all around it.

"This is Alfea Castle. Nice, huh? I'm sure you'd like it here."

Blaze grabbed Y/n's shoulder and turned her away from the castle and to him. "Y/n, what about our school in Gardenia?"

"I...I don't know." She remembered her ex-boyfriend she was still very close friends with, along with her other friends.

"Well, just think about it. I'm leaving tomorrow, with or without you," Stella warned.

"Alright, but I don't go without Blaze." She glanced at him, realizing that she had put him in an even worse situation. Now it was both of them on the line by his word.

"I'll sleep on it," he finally said. "Now how do we get out of here?"

"Easy. All you gotta do is jump up. Whee!" She jumped up, popping out of the postcard and back into Blaze's bedroom.

-

Kiko ran into the living room, pulling at Vanessa's pant leg, just as she, Mike, and Spencer had been discussing sending Blaze and Y/n to Magix. He pointed aggressively at the door, all seemingly being oblivious.

"Not now. we can play later Kiko, it's been a long day." Mike said, trying to shoe him away.

More aggressively, he pointed to the door.

But he ignored him, saying to Spencer, "I don't know what's wrong with him. Maybe Blaze forgot to give him his dinner. Or maybe he's doing that thing where he pretends he didn't eat so he can get a second serving."

"Sounds like Y/n," he replied with a shrug.

Kiko ran back into the kitchen, where Squeaker was hiding under the table, and tried to hold back the door. Squeaker ran over to hold it while the rabbit got a bunch of different objects from the kitchen and piled them high on the door, panting when he was finished.

-

Mike finally got up when he heard a loud crash. "What is that rabbit doing?" As an afterthought, he added, "I knew we should've bought Blaze a hamster. Kiko! Come here immediately!"

At that moment, a troll burst through the door, roaring loudly as he trashed the house and smashed the furniture in. Followed by him was Knut, along with his ghouls.

"Those kids must be around here somewhere," he stated gruffly while Mike and Vanessa huddle together and Spencer, screaming, stood up on one of the chairs, trying to decide the best way to get Y/n out of there.

"Turn around, sunshine."

Knut jerked his head around to find Stella. "What?"

Her eyes narrowed. "Let's settle this. Solaria!" she cried, throwing her hand up and began to transform.

-

Stella jumped around with peace signs, then threw her hands up with a huge smile.
Blue wristbands formed on her arms, followed by long orange boots and a headband that matched the bands. Her clothes were then changed to an orange tube top with one strap and short-shorts while her wings formed behind her.
Her eyes narrowed, then squinted. Letting out a cry, she spun around, her hair pinning itself into twintails with long, dark orange hairbands. She took a few steps back while her wings came into place and placed her hand behind her head, smiling fashionably.

-

Stella flew back, then lunged forward, kicking the troll in the face.

"You dummy, you got beat by a cutesy blonde!" Knut yelled at him as Stella landed on her feet, smirking triumphantly.

"Yes. But! I'm no ordinary blonde."

Blaze stood by Stella's side, putting his arm out protectively at Y/n.

"Blaze," Stella whispered. "We're outnumbered. We're gonna have to split them up."

"I have an idea," he said. "I'll take care of the ghouls. Y/n, you run for it."

"No way!" She picked up a fallen lamp and swung it towards Knut. "I wanna help!"

She ran out the door, yelling back, "COME AND GET ME, RED DEMONS!"

They chased her, Blaze chasing them, while Stella stayed behind.

"Alright, blondie, wanna see what me and the troll can do? If I were you, I'd get ready to lick my wounds, know what I mean?"

Behind him, Mike opened a window and helped Vanessa out. Spencer was forced to take the long way around Knut, but was soon helped out after, the window being slammed shut behind them.

-

"Burning Sun!"

A bright flash went off in the house. The ghouls closed in on Blaze and Y/n as they backed away, Y/n thrusting the lamp end at them.

"BACK! BACK, SPAWN OF SATAN!"

Two pots crawled in the ground past the ghouls and to the teens. Blaze picked them up before promptly dropping them, not realizing that Kiko and Squeaker were in them.

"BURNING SUN!"

Knut fell out of a window, both teens impressed.

"Let's go, Stella!" Y/n cheered as Stella jumped out of the window with her scepter in her hands. "Stella!" She ran over to help her up.

"Y/n." Stella stayed on the ground on her palms, explaining, "Don't worry. I've called the Specialists."

"You called...a bunch of doctors?"

The troll smashed a bigger opening in the door, then stomped to the girls, who gasped, Y/n falling to the ground, while Blaze watched helplessly from the sidelines. He was stopped, however, by a purple flash on a futuristic rope that wrapped around his neck.

Behind the troll stood three guys and a girl.

"Guys, I'm ready!" one of them called, holding a gun with a yellow middle and wearing glasses.

The girl - blond hair, blue eyes, soft and round face - bent over with her sword in hand and matching shield in the other. "Alright, let's take him to jail."

The one who had roped the troll with spikey purple hair tugged at it, insisting with a cocky tone, "What's the rush? Don't you wanna have a little bit of fun first?"

The last guy - very handsome - leaned on his sword with indifference. "I wouldn't be so cocky if I were you. After all, this is our first mission."

Just at her said that, the guy with the rope was yanked into the air, letting out a yell. Rather than be concerned, Handsome simply said, "I rest my case."

Spikey was thrown over to Blaze, Stella, and Y/n while the troll made his way for the other Specialists.

"Stay behind me!" Blondie put her shield up, letting the troll punch at it. "Sky! Would you mind doing something?"

Handsome got out his sword and, with a yell, smashed it against the ground, green energy coming out at it and attacking the troll.

"My turn." Glasses fired his gun three times, yellow sparks emitting from it, enlarging, and flying for the troll's feet, causing him to fall into a ditch. "Bullseye!"

"Yeah, well done," Blondie said, having taken a knee. "But it's not over yet."

Spikey stood, looking at the fairies in disgust. "Stay here. This won't take long." He took out his sword, yelling at the ghouls as they jumped on him, "Okay, who wants to feel my flame, huh?!" He threw one off his back, but was then punched back by Knut, who let out a hideous growl.

"Leave him alone!"

A blast of energy came from two separate sources, sending him flying away. Blaze and Y/n stared at him, interrupted by Stella saying, "See? I told you you could do it."

"Then we are fairies..." Y/n said, still looking at her hands.

"Of course you are. I'm never wrong."

Knut stood, but so did Spikey, wiping a splatter of blood from his cheek before giving him a menacing smile, sword raised. Knut looked at the rest of the Specialists, then the fairies.

"Drats..." Clapping his hands with the ghouls on his shoulders, he disappeared in a beam of light.

"Finally, this one's over." Stella walked towards the Specialists. "Y/n, Blaze, meet our four heros: Riven -"

Spikey glared at then, his steely eyes narrowing.

"- Prince Sky -"

Handsome had his sword planted into the ground. "Hey," he said flirtatiously.

"- Timmy -"

Glasses grinned, waving in a dorky manner.

"- and Brenda, Prince Sky's squire."

Blondie's sword and shield retracted so that she could give them a salute. "He-llo!"

The troll began to crawl out, stopped by Timmy putting an electric collar on him. "Hey, you. Where do you think you're going?"

Mike, Vanessa, and Spencer came around just as the Specialists were leaving with the troll, floating in the air with the brace inhibiting him from every section of his body.

"See you later!" they called before vanishing.

-

The next morning, Mike went right to work with cleaning the living room. Stella came in as he was sweeping and offered, "You know, it would be so much easier for me to straighten up everything with a little magic."

"Thanks, but I prefer it this way."

"They're ready."

In the entrance to the living room, Blaze and Y/n stood with their bags packed, Vanessa and Spencer with them, the latter looking down in contemplation.

"Are you two sure about this?" Mike asked.

"Yes, Dad," Blaze replied. "We're going with Stella to the Realm of Magix and Alfea Castle."

"Call us as soon as you get there," he sighed.

Spencer finally looked up and took Y/n by the hands. "I can't believe we agreed to this. What if something happens? What if you get sick? What if those monsters show up again? What if -"

"Spencer." Her face softened while she squeezed his hands back. "I'll be fine."

Kiko and Squeaker jumped into Y/n's handbag, Squeaker punching Kilo aside for more room. The rabbit jumped onto her back, thinking he was helping, but she yawned in annoyance.

"Blaze, Y/n." Vanessa said. "A love you very much. Please come home as soon as the session's over next summer. We'll miss you."

"We'll miss you, too," Y/n said, giving her a hug.

"Ah ah ah, did you really think we'd let you go just like that? No, no, we're coming with you."

"Really?" Blaze asked, relieved. "Thanks, Dad. This is so great."

"No sweat." He went into the other room, coming back out with his firecoat, brushing it off. "And anyway, I really wanna see this famous Magic Dimension you keep talking about. So..."

"Are we taking a broomstick?" Spencer cut in. "Please tell me we're taking a broomstick."

"Pretty sure that's a witch thing," Y/n replied, shaking her head lightly.

"Damnit, no, now I'm excited about a broomstick..."

Blaze chuckled, then asked Stella, "Are we gonna use the portal?"

"Regular humans can't go in it, but you know what? My scepter can handle a little trans-dimensional puddle jump like this." She took off her ring. "Are you ready?" she asked as she turned it into a scepter.

"We were born ready."

"Then to Magix we go!"

With her cry, they fell through the portal.

-

On the other side was the forest just outside of Alfea, only a bus ride away from Magix City. The only ones to land on their feet were the fairies.

"Wow, it does exist!" Mike realized in awe.

Blaze put his hands on his hips. "You believe us now?"

They got up, Stella leading the way to Alfea.

Blaze nudged Y/n on the shoulder and asked with a grin, "But it is pretty cool, right?"

Nodding enthusiastically, she agreed, "With a capital 'C'."

-

In the next chapter, at Alfea, Blaze and Y/n will discover new life and amazing new friends.
But, in the Magic Dimension, they will also meet the witches from the school of Cloud Tower, the first problem they will have to deal with. Peace in Magix will be threatened.
