Chapter 20
Chan bounced his foot up and down as he sat on his chair next to his desk, head in his hands as he exhaled anxiously.
He found himself glancing at the door to Felix's room across from his every five minutes as he heard the faint sound of music notes through the walls.
Suddenly, Felix's door flew open, making the older stand up faster than the blonde had ever run from him.
Felix widened his eyes as he looked at Chan.
"What happened?" The older asked, already assuming the worst as he leaned to the right to eye the computer sitting on Felix's desk.
"I need water...."
"Water."
"Yeah."
"That's it?"
"... Yeah?"
"Nothing happened?"
"You saved a copy of the file. And sent it to every device you own. Don't worry," the younger scoffed, not appreciating the lack of trust.
Chan remained silent as he nodded slowly.
"Can I go get water now?"
"Yeah."
"Thanks."
Chan could make out a hushed "fuck, why did I thank him for that?" as the younger walked to the kitchen.
And a solid hour later, Felix came out of his room for a second time, eyes widened at the sight of Chan standing up from his chair so fast the piece of furniture almost fell back.
"What happened?"
"Oh my-"
Felix hid his face in his hands and inhaled aggressively before making his way into Chan's room.
"Buddy."
Chan considered swatting Felix's arms away when he placed both hands on his shoulders.
"I handed out a Get Away From Felix card. For free. And you've been sitting in this goddamn chair for the past ten hours thinking I'm going to destroy your computer."
When Chan gave Felix a couple of blinks in response, the younger sighed.
"Go and do something, Chan."
"Like what-"
"I don't fucking know? Go make yourself some food or take a nap or-"
Felix furrows his eyebrows when Chan laughs sarcastically before continuing.
"Go outside, it's nice today."
"I'm fine here," was Chan's curt reply, and Felix was not having it.
"I will attempt to cuddle you if you don't leave the dorm right now."
Chan had his shoes on and was out the door in a matter of seconds.
"Bitch," the younger mumbled, a slight smile tugging at his lips as he went back to work on the project.
--------------------------------------
"What the hell are you doing here?" Jisung asked.
Chan groaned and tapped his foot on the other's doorstep. "I didn't want to be cuddled."
"What."
"Can you just-" Chan sighed, not knowing what else to say. "Can I please come in?"
"Did you and Felix fight again?" Jisung asked, stepping aside to let the older in.
"Where's Minho?"
"Not here, and you're not answering my question."
"He told me I had no life and said he'd cuddle me if I didn't leave."
Jisung blinked as Chan plopped down on the sofa. He tried not to laugh as he noted the way Chan shuddered thinking about it.
"He's not wrong..." the younger muttered, reaching down for something on the ground.
"What?"
"Nothing. Wanna play Mario Kart?"
"No."
"You don't have an option. Move over."
Three other games and a flipped table later, Chan slumped against the sofa with a triumphant smile.
"You cheated and I still won."
"Hey, I wouldn't consider shoving you as cheating."
"... Sure."
"Careful, you'll look like you're happy if you keep smiling like that."
"Shut up," Chan scoffed, giving a shove of his own. "I smile."
"Sure."
"Felix tripped the other day."
"What? What does that have to do with anything-"
"It made me smile."
"..."
"..."
"YOU ABSOLUTE ASSHOLE???"
