I click my tongue in annoyance. How can I help Y/N, when I have to fight these demons as well? My heart clenched painfully as I listen to Y/N's pained screams. Oh God. Please... Y/N.

Tanjiro P.O.V

I jump out of the way as an attack is directed towards me. I feel my mouth went dry when Y/N suddenly stops her screaming. Millions of thoughts starts circling through my head. Most of all, is the thought that worried about Y/N's well-being. Whether she is alright.

I feel something coming towards me. I turn my head to see Y/N. She have her sword above her head. I quickly jumps out of the way when she tries to strike me.

"Y/N!" I called out. She slowly looks up. Her eyes looks empty. My eyes saddened at the sight of her. "Y-Y/N..." I said. My eyes widened when she lunges at me. I quickly jump to avoid her attack.

Nezuko comes rushing towards me. She turn to face Y/N. I notice her eyes widening. "Nezuko. She's not herself. We have to find a way to snap her back to reality. And please... no matter what you do, please do not hurt her" I said. She turn to look at me and nods her head.

"Y/N!! Y/N, please!!! Please!! Snap out of it!!" I yelled out in desperation. If she keeps on attacking me. I won't have a choice but to... NO! I don't want to have to do it. I don't want to lose her.

From the corner of my eyes, I notice someone running. Y/N seem to notice him too. She turn to face him. Her eyes stares at the man as he keeps running, unaware of us. She lunges towards him with her sword ready to strike.

My eyes widened at her action. I quickly rush towards her, striking my sword with hers. I use a lot of strength into my attack to the point her sword is flung out of her grips. I quickly pin her down as she just stares at me with blank eyes.

"Tanjiro..." she said, in a hushed voice. Her eyes still look blank. But there are tears that slowly streams down her cheeks. "Please... k-kill m-me, Tanjiro" she said. My eyes widened at what she said.

"No... I won't" I said. Her eyes glisten as they slowly turns back to normal. She starts to cry as she stares at me pleadingly. "NO!! I'm not going to do that, Y/N... aside from Nezuko, you're all I have left. So forget about that!" I said, still pining her down on the ground.

She gives me a sad smile as she slowly closes her eyes. I place my hand on her cheek. "Y/N? Hey..." I said. Her eyes snaps open but they're not their usual e/c color.

She lift her foot and kicks me off her. "You should've kill me when you still have a chance... now, I won't let you stop me as I annihilate everyone in this village" she said. Her voice sounded different. My eyes widened as I stare at her in shock.

She turns and runs off. My eyes widened at what she said. I was about to chase after her when a strong wind strikes me. The strong win got me flying into a tree.

I let out a pained groan as I fall on the ground. I start gasping for air as I feel it getting squeezed out of my lungs. I struggle to move as I lift my head to see the wind demon. Ah, damn it! I forgot there's more of them.

How can I stop Y/N, when these people keeps getting on my way?? They're about to strike me again, when a flash of flame comes in front of me to block the attack. I gasp in shock at the sudden appearance. The person turns to face me, making me gasp in shock at the familiar face.

"R-Rengoku-San..." I said, staring at the person in shock. I force myself to sit up as I stare at him. "H-How... I... I-I thought" I stuttered out. He just grins and offers his hand to me. I grab his hand, allowing him to pull me up.

"I trained hard to adapt to my new breathing... long story short, I got the hang of it. Now, I can be a Demon Slayer once again" he said, grinning at me. My eyes glisten at what he said. He places his hands on my shoulders.

"Go and stop her... I can tell that she's not herself. Don't you worry about these demons. I will take care of them" he said. I quickly nod my head and turn around. I quickly rush to where she was heading to. Y/N... please don't lose yourself.

I finally arrive at the village. From a far, I can see Y/N. She's only standing in front of the villagers who shakes in fear at the sight of her. I look around the area to see there are no dead bodies. Which means, she still hasn't killed anyone.

She shakes her head and clutches it with her free hand. Her other hand trembles greatly, as she holds her sword. I appear in front of the people to block Y/N's attack. She glares angrily at me, clearly not happy that I've interfered with her.

"Why are you protecting them?!" She yelled at me. She clenched her free hand into tight fists. She glares angrily at me as her eyes turns redder. "I'm going to kill all of them! They are all bad!! All they've done is hurt me!" She yelled.

"No, Y/N! Not everyone are bad! I would never hurt you. I love you!!" I yelled at him. She shakes her head at what I said. My lips tremble as I stare at her in desperation. "P-Please, Y/N... you have to remember! Remember all the sweet memories we shared together, Y/N! Not just me, Kanroji-San... Rengoku-San!! Zenitsu, and Inosuke!! Your best friends! Alone with the other Hashira's that treats you like their sister, Y/N!! Remember!!" I cried out.

She shakes her head as she turn to look at an unprotected villagers. She lift her sword and turn to him. I shake my head as tears streams down my cheeks as I realize what I said didn't reach her. I shake my head as I scream out of frustration.

"Y/N! Stop!!! Don't do something you'd regret later on!" I screamed. I rush towards her and wrap my arms around her. But she easily push me off her. Damn it... she is a lot more stronger than before. Y/N, please...
