Previously on Chapter 35

"I love you too..." I said. He places his forehead against mine and smiles. We decided to sit back to back. I lean my back against his and lean my head back, so I can place my head on his shoulder. He do the same with me. "It's so comforting here..." I said. I hear splashing and turn my head to see Nezuko swimming. I let out a soft giggle as I watch her splashing around. She's just so cute!

Y/N P.O.V

We're currently eating dinner, and Kanroji-San is here to join us. Nezuko who is laying under the table crawled out to play with Kanroji-San. I let out a soft giggle as she let out a laugh after being tickled by the Love Hashira.

She starts snuggling closer to Kanroji-San. She seems so fond of her, making me smile softly at the two of them. I mean who wouldn't love someone as sweet as Kanroji-San.

We decided to go and give Shinazugawa Genya some of the onigiri, since he maybe still haven't had his dinner. I walk side by side with Tanjiro, who's holding a plate of onigiri's. While Nezuko walks with Kanroji-San in front of us.

"You know, Nezuko-Chan... looking at those onigiris makes me feel hungry again. Even though I've ate a lot of food" she said, making me smile softly to myself. She has always had a large appetite. It's amazing how much food she can eat.

When we reach the room where Shinazugawa Genya suppose to be, only to realize that she isn't here. I turn to look at Tanjiro who looks a little disheartened. I lift my hand and give his back a gentle pat. He turn to look at me and smiles softly.

Kanroji-San said that she's going to leave the village soon. Before she go, she whispers something in Tanjiro's ear. She smiles at him and take a couple of steps away from us.

"I'm rooting for the Kamado siblings and Y/N-Chan!" She said. She turns around and walks away. I smile as I lift my hand, waving back at her. I turn my head to look at my boyfriend who looks flustered because of the close proximity he had with Kanroji-San a few seconds ago.

He lift the onigiri above his head as blood spluttered out of his nose. I shake my head at his action and turn around, walking away. I can't believe he got a nosebleed because of Kanroji-San. I know she's pretty and all. But did he have to react that way? Wait... why am I even affected??

"Y-Y/N. I'm sorry!!" He said. I hear his footsteps as he chases after me. I turn to look at him as he grabs my hand with his free hand while the other still holding the plate. "Don't take it the wrong way, okay? You're the only one I'll ever love..." he said.

"I'm not affected... Kanroji-San is beautiful. So I don't blame you for reacting that way" I said. I turn around to walk away. But he tugs my hand, making me turn to look at him only to flinch when he place a quick peck on my lips. I blink my eyes, staring at him wide-eyed. "Tanjiro! There's Nezuko-Chan is here!" I said, gesturing towards his little sister.

"So what? She knows we're a couple. She don't mind, right Nezuko?" Tanjiro said. Nezuko hums and nods her head. She rushes towards me, wrapping her arms around me. I smile softly and return her embrace. I run my hand through her hair, making her snuggle closer to me. I let out a soft giggle at her cuteness.

We decided to head back to the room we're supposed to stay in. I sit down next to Tanjiro. I turn my head and notice Nezuko staring at her hair. She starts fiddling with it with a sad expression.

"Nezuko-Chan? Is something wrong with your hair?" I asked. She turn her head to look at me. I blink my eyes as I try to figure out what she wants. I think about Kanroji-San and how fond Nezuko seem to be with her. "Do you want me to braid your hair?" I asked.

Nezuko's eyes lit up at what I said. She hums and nods her head eagerly. I pat the spot in front of me, making her quickly rush over and take a seat. I let out a soft giggle and start working to braid her hair.

I feel a pair of eyes staring at me. I turn my head to see Tanjiro watching me with a smile. I just smile softly to myself and focus on braiding Nezuko's hair. "What's with the smile, Tanjiro?" I asked.

"Nothing... it just warms my heart watching the two most important girls in my life getting along so well" he said. I feel my cheeks getting warm at what he said. I hear him let out a laugh at my reaction. "By the way, Y/N..." he said. I hum softly as I turn my head to look at him. He have moved closer and now is staring at Nezuko's braid hair. "Who taught you how to braid hair?" He asked.

"Mama used to braid my hair, while explaining the steps to me... this is actually the first time I ever braid anyone's hair. I'm just as surprised as well. I'm doing better than I thought" I said.

"Better? Y/N... that braid looks professional! I wouldn't know if you're a beginner" he said. I turn to look at him to see him grinning at me. I just smiled at what he said. I lower my hands after finishing Nezuko's hair.

"And done... now you look exactly like your idol" I said. Nezuko hums happily at me. I turn my head to look at the sky. "Wahh~ the moon tonight is so beautiful, Nezuko-Chan..." I said. Nezuko turns around to look at the moon and cheers happily.

I blink my eyes sleepily, as I yawn. I move to lay down. Nezuko following in suit as she lay down next to me. She scoots closer and grab my hand, wrapping my arm around her form. I smile and hugs her properly.

"Nezuko, that's not fair. I want to cuddle her too!" Tanjiro whined. I turn to him and pat the empty spot next to me. He just grins and lay down behind me, sandwiching me between Nezuko and himself. He place his head on the back of my neck, snuggling closer. I lift my head and place it on his arm to act as a pillow. He tighten his arms around me, making me smile softly as I let myself drift off to sleep.

I open my eyes when Tanjiro suddenly sit up. "Eh?!! Tokito-Kun! What are you doing here? Wait... did you just pinched my nose?" He said. I turn my head to see Tokito-San.

"I did pinched it... I think your reaction is too slow..." he said. I yawn and slowly sit up while rubbing my eyes to try and get rid of the sleepiness. Tanjiro looks flustered at his comment.

"Oh, come on. I would know if you were hostile..." he said, waving his hand around. Tokito-San just hum at what he said. He looks down as he seem to think.

"Fair enough... if I were hostile, I wouldn't pinched your nose" he said. I just stare at him in confusion, wondering why he's here. I turn my head to look at Tanjiro as he seem calmer.

"I know Kanamori-San. But why?" He asked. It seems that Kanamori is suppose to be Tokito-San's new Swordsmith. That's why he's here to look for him. I notice how his eyes seem to be more lively when Tanjiro explains why he's kind to everyone.

I bit my lips, trying not to laugh when Nezuko wakes up and bumps her forehead to Tanjiro's chin. "Ah... you're awake, Nezuko... it hurts..." he said, holding onto his chin but still smile at his little sister nonetheless. Nezuko start to walk back and forth while flailing her arms, until she settles herself in between us.

Tokito-San just eyed Nezuko in silence. "Let's go search Haganezuka-San together" Tanjiro offered. I turn my head to look at Tokito-San, who's still eyeing Nezuko.

"That girl is a strange creature..." he said. I blink my eyes at what he said, while Tanjiro looks shocked at what he said. "Hmm... I don't know how to put it with words. Have I met this girl before? Has she always been like that?" He said, while crossing his arms and tilts his head to the side. I turn my head to look at Nezuko as she seem to copy his action, making me giggle softly at her cute act.

"Someone's here..." Tanjiro suddenly said. I turn my head to look at the door. It slides open to reveal what seem to be a man. But I know for sure he isn't one. He's a demon. How did it get here??
