Chapter 34
Previously on Chapter 33
I turn to look at Tanjiro and take a seat on the edge of the bed. I place his hand on my lap as I watch him sleep. A soft smile starts to form on my face as I watch his chest rise and fall at a steady pattern as he sleeps peacefully. Thank goodness, Tanjiro... thank goodness you're awake.
-Visiting The Sword-smith Village-

Tanjiro got better sooner than I had anticipated. But I'm glad nonetheless. To see him on that bed, unable to move was truly heartbreaking. I'm happy to see him all better. I can't get rid of the guilt though in my heart though. After all, one of the wounds on Tanjiro's body was inflicted by me.
I let out a soft giggle as Tanjiro lifts one of the triplets up in the air. She giggles while the other two asked for their turns. Everyone looks so glad that Tanjiro's all better now.
I smile as Tanjiro place the girls down. I take a seat on the edge of the bed. I wave at the girls as they make their way out of the room. Tanjiro take a seat next to me. I scoot a little closer, so I can place my head on his shoulder. He wrap his arm around me, pulling me closer to his side.
"I'm sorry..." I said, in a hushed tone. I pull away slightly to look at him to see him staring at me with a confused face. "I hurt you..." I said, lifting my hand and place it on the spot where I stabbed him with my sword.
Tanjiro let out a sigh at what I said. He gently place his hand on top of mine. He gently holds it, turning my hand so he's holding it. He entwined our hands as he slowly lift my hand, placing a soft kiss on my knuckles. I just stare at him as he let his lips linger against my skin.
He removes his lips and turn to look at me. "You can stop apologizing, Y/N..." he said. I just look down at what he said. Tanjiro gently place a hand on my cheek, lifting my head to look at him. "Look at me. As you can see, Y/N. I'm okay... I'm still alive and well" he said, smiling softly at me. I feel tears building up in my eyes.
"What if you're not okay? What if... my attack was lethal on you? I can't imagine what would have become if you d-" I said. My words got cut off by a pair of lips against mine. Tears streams down my cheeks, as I close my eyes. I return his kiss, lifting my hand and cupping his cheek.
"Don't talk hypothetically. The fact is... I'm still alive and I'm okay. That's what's most important now. Don't think about the 'what if's.' Let's focus on the recent event, okay?" He said. I just nod my head weakly. He leans his forehead against mine. He lift his hand, placing it on my cheek. "I love you, Y/N..." he said.
"I love you too, Tanjiro..." I said. He smiles brightly at me as he tuck some strands pieces of hair behind my ear. He places a soft kiss on my forehead. I just wrap my arms around his neck, burying my face in the crook of his neck. I'm so lucky to have someone like him be my boyfriend. He's everything to me.

One of the triplets gave Tanjiro a letter, which seems to be from Mr. Haganezuka. I can see Tanjiro's face getting as white as a sheet of paper. Out of curiosity, I scoot closer to sit next to him and take a peek at the letter.
I let out a nervous laugh as all the letters are filled with tons of hateful words. Mr. Haganezuka always got so angry whenever Tanjiro broke his sword. I turn my head to look at Tanjiro as he looks scared because of the letters.
"Seems like he's really angry this time..." I said, making Tanjiro drops his face in his hands. I lift my hand, gently patting his back. "I wish there's a way we can meet him and apologize properly" I said.
"You can just go to the Sword-smith Village, L/N-San" someone said. I turn my head to the sound to look at the triplets. I blink my eyes at what she said. I've been a Hashira for a while now, but no one ever told me that we're allowed to visit the sword-smith village.
"We can?" I said. She nods her head. I turn my head to look at my boyfriend. "Do you wanna go, Tanjiro?" I asked. He turn to me and grin excitedly. I smile softly, realizing he's also eager to visit the sword-smiths village.

The sword-smiths village's location is hidden. No one can know their location. I mean, it makes sense. Imagine if a demon finds out their location and let the other demons find their location. If they go to attack that village and kill everyone, the Demon Slayers won't have their swords to fight of demons. Which will be a huge disadvantages for us.
Without Demon Slayers, demons can do anything as they pleased and go on a killing spree. They would go around killing and devouring humans. We can't have that. That's why Demon Slayers exists to begin with.
There are two Kakushi's in front of us. They'll be the one to escort us to the sword-smith's village. "Since their village are hidden... we're gonna have to put this on you" one of them said, while the two of them holds up a pair of earplugs. She walks up to Tanjiro and place the earplugs inside his ears. "And since you also have a keen sense of smell... we'll have to put this too" she said, plugging the plug inside Tanjiro's nose. I let out a laugh at his state. Poor Tanjiro.
I turn my head to look at the Kakushi who'd be carrying me. I grab the earplugs from him and place it on my ears. He wrap a blindfold around my eyes to block my sight, so I won't be able to see where we're heading to.
He grabs my arm and guide my hand to his shoulder. Once I know where he is, I slowly wrap my arms around his neck. He wrap his hand behind my thighs to act as a support so I won't fall off his back.
I just place my chin on the Kakushi's shoulder as he starts to walk. I wonder what the sword-smith village would be like. Guess I'll have to wait and see for myself. I'm so excited!
