Previously on Chapter 30

Muzan smirks as he realize what happened. His daughter have now turned into a full demon. Just like he had planned. With her on his side, he knows he's going to be able to find the key to conquer the sun. Everything is now going according to his plan.

-Once Again-

Y/N P.O.V

My emotions changed. That's the one thing I notice after receiving the injection father gave me. I don't know what happened. But I feel an undeniable thirst for a human's flesh. I try my hardest to keep it down, but it's getting hard to.

"Y/N..." someone said. I turn my head to see it's father. I stand up and turn to face him. He walks over to me and places a hand on my shoulder. "Gyutaro and Daki are both at the Entertainment District. Do you think you can go and give them some assistance?" He said.

"Of course father... when do I leave? I can still go under the sun. So I can go at noon or night" I asked. He smiles at what I said. He lift his hand and gently ruffle my hair.

"You can go now... I've taught you how to use your power to get out of this place, right?" He said. I nod my head. He gives me a quick hug. I close my eyes, hugging him back. "Do be careful... I suspect they'd be sending a Hashira in that mission. Make sure to stay safe, alright?" He said.

"Yes, father... I'll be taking my leave now..." I said. He nods his head, as he run his hand through my hair. I pull away from him and smiles at him. He returns the smile and place a soft kiss on top of my head. I close my eyes as I focus on my power to teleport out of this place.

I open my eyes and grin as I feel the breeze around me. I look up at the sky to see the sun is above. I turn to the direction and starts walking. I've never been to that place. But I know where I should be heading to. Thanks to my good sense of directions.

By the time I'm near the District, I can see it in shambles from afar. Everything is destroyed. I hear distant sound of metal on metal, which lets me know that the battle has begun. I reach inside my haori and take out my sword that father allows me to keep. I let the blade extent while I'm still running.

I jump on top of a building as a Demon Slayer tries to attack Daki. My sword classes with theirs. I found myself staring into a pair of red eyes. Their eyes widened as they stare into mine.

"Y-Y/N?" He said. I use force to make the two of us flies away from each other. I land a few feet away from him as he continues to stare at me. I notice tears starting to roll down his cheeks. "You're okay, Y/N... thank goodness" he said. He try to come closer to me, but I lift my sword with the sharp edge pointing at him.

I glance at Daki who looks surprised to see me. "I'll let you handle the rest of them. I'll handle him..." I said. I turn my head to look at boy. Who looks pained to see me.

"What happened to you, Y/N? Why are you siding them?" He said. His sword his lowered down as he stares at me with desperation. Tears are still streaming down both of his cheeks.

"Blood Demon Art: Shadow Control..." I said. The shadow around me starts transforming into shadow monsters. The boy's eyes widened as he stares at me in complete shock. "Don't act like you know me... I know nothing of you" I said. I point my sword at him, urging my shadows to attack him. He quickly dodged every attack the shadows monster strikes.

"What do you mean you know nothing of me?! It's me, Y/N! Kamado Tanjiro! Your boyfriend!!" He yelled at me. I feel a sharp pain in my head. I clutch onto it, trying to get rid of the pain.

I lunges at him with my sword raised. He blocks it with his own. "Please... you have to remember! You can't let that Kibutsuji win! He's a manipulative monster! Don't let yourself be the monster you feared to be!" He said.

"That monster you're talking about is my father! Don't you dare talk down on him!" I said, glaring at him. His eyes looked saddened by what I said. I kick him, making him fly back and crashes into a building.

He cough up blood as I clutched into his stomach where I kicked him. He turn his head to look at me. "Why don't you fight back! Or are you too scared, huh?" I said. He just force himself to stand up.

"I'm not fighting you, Y/N!" He said. He blocks my attack once again and keeps on relying on defense. He didn't try to attack me even once. "I know you're still in there, Y/N. Fight it!! Please..." he pleaded.

"Shut up!! Whoever you're talking about is long gone!" I yelled at him. He shakes his head at what I said. I lunges at him and this time he didn't dodge nor block. He let my sword pierce his shoulder. My eyes widened as he stares at me with a pained expression.

"It's not true... I know you're still in there" he said. I just stare at him as he holds my wrist, preventing me from pulling my sword out of his pierced shoulder. His free hand on the back of my head, holding me in place so I'd keep staring into his red eyes.

"I'm so sorry, Y/N... I let you get taken away. If only I'm stronger. I could have prevented this from happening, and you wouldn't got turned into a full demon. Please go back to the way you are. Because I love you the way you are, Y/N. I love you... I love you as a half-demon..." he said. My eyes widened at what he said.

I feel a sharp pain on my head. I let the sword go. I stagger back and falls on my knees as I start to scream from the pain. Flashes of images starts flashing in my head. Most of which revolves around him.

I lower my hand from my head as the pain subsided. I lift my head to look at the boy in front of me. Tears starts to stream down my cheeks as he kneels down in front of me, clutching onto the wound I have inflicted.

"T-Tanjiro..." I said, weakly. He smiles and nods his head. My body falls forward and he quickly catches me in his arms. My head against his chest, as he held me tightly. "I-I'm s... I'm so sorry..." I cried out.

"You're back... that's all that matters" he said. I pull away slightly to give him a weak smile. He pulls me closer. I place my head back on his chest. He gently run his hand through my hair. I'm back in his arms once again.
