Y/N walked in the cafeteria with her boxed lunch, and looked for somewhere to sit. Everyone here looked nice, but they were all rich and cool, and Y/N was just a commoner girl that nobody knew. She saw Hikaru and Kaoru sitting together, at a table with a bunch of other girls, so Y/N decided to sit there. She sat down and was too quiet to say hello, so she just started eating her lunch. Hikaru had been telling the other girls a story, but cut off mid-sentence once Y/N sat down. The other girls looked at him quizzically and tried gaining his attention, but his eyes were fixed on Y/N. "Hey Y/N" he spoke, trying to keep his voice even. "Oh, hey Hikaru! You remembered my name!" Y/N smiled happily, looking at him. "Well of course. I wouldn't forget the name of someone as beautiful as you." The other girls just shrugged and decided to talk to Kaoru, since Hikaru's attention was obviously taken away from them. Y/N blushed darkly, hiding her face in her H/C hair. Hikaru stood up, walking over to her and sweeping her hair out of her face and tilting her face to look up at his his with two fingers at her chin. Y/N's tounge was caught and she couldn't speak. She literally couldn't get word to form in her mouth. "You truly are adorable when you blush like that. Why dont you meet me in the park on Saturday?" Hikaru smirked, his red hair falling perfectly over his face. Y/N just nodded a small nod, and Hikaru went back to sitting at the table. Y/N was too flushed and flustered to do anything else, so she bent her head down and ate her lunch before picking up and leaving to go to her class. "I can't believe that just happened on my first day.." She muttered to herself quietly on her way..

The rest of the week, she didn't say anything else to Hikaru, but he smiled and waved at her every time he saw her. Every time,  she saw a group of girls whispering, most likely about her. She just smiled shyly and kept walking. She was nervous about Saturday, not knowing what to expect. She didn't know Hikaru that well, but obviously he thought she was beautiful and adorable, so she thought she'd give him this one chance.

How bad could it possibly be?

//Literally the shortest chapter I have ever written but this is the first x reader i've written. But also, I recognized that I'm writing this in 3rd person and not 2nd person like I should be. Gahhhhhhh I'll fix that in future chapters, and one day when I have more reads on it then I'll just edit the first two chapters. Sorry this is so short!
