As Melanie was reading some spell books she got a phone call,"Hello?....yeah.....uh-huh...... mm......," she takes a bite of some pockey," Oh well, you have to do it yourself....don't say that name! He's dead...," she closes her spell book", well ,next time you should mind your own business!", and she hangs up...
Melanie picks up her phone and a pillow, she sighs, "I'm gonna try out that spell...." She sat on her bed and began to concentrate. " 'O sweet sugar skull that haunts people's dreams, 'O sweet demon that kills nightmares... Grant upon the power of the silver crystal the power of the carrousel in the rose garden, guarded by the grand Phoenix! Listen to me when I pray the soul of a loved one! Show me, the life!" As she said these words she saw an image of a ring with a moonstone on it. Melanie opened her eyes and smiled ,"Now to find that ring."
She puts on her shoes and grabs her hang bag and rushes downstairs,"Mom? Do you know about a ring with a moonstone on it?" Her mother answered, "No, sweetie... Only the one your grandma gave you, and...oh! Y/N also gave you one! Just that the day he died you....." She looked back at Melanie, "I mean-!" Melanie looked at her mom and said,"It's ok mom! I actually NEED one from y/n!" Her eyes got a little watery, so she looked down, "Oh, you put it somewhere in your guy's' treehouse!"
Melanie rushed out of the house and went to the treehouse. She climbed up the tree and went in.
After about an hour she found the ring, she sat down and before she knew it, she was asleep.
