~"Do you ever lay in bed and realize how not okay you are?"~

Adrien's POV~

"You disobey me Adrien. Take a look at that school."

"Yes father."

"You will never I say never go back to that school again."

"Father no-"

"Without your bodyguard."

I gasped, as I look to where my father's voice was at the scene.

"He will drop you off and pick you up everyday. Natalie has offered to organize you new schedule you still be continuing you music, Chinese and fencing classes and your photoshoot's." My father exclaimed in a strict tone.

My heart was beating out of my chest. Utter joy and excitement was eating away at me.

I'm finally able to go to school!!!

"Thank you Natalie! Thank you father!"

I run out the door and towards the school. Not wasting another second.

As I get into the school I'm filled with the same loud noises of kids chatting away.

"Hey dude your back!"

I turn my head to hear the directions of Nino's voice. "Oh hey Nino. Yeah my father finally allowed me to come." I exclaimed as he wrapped an arm around my shoulder.

"It's great to have you back dude!"

I chuckled as he guided me to my locker. I think today is gonna be a great day.

Enid's POV~

Today is a horrible day..

Just to start off my day, Chloe and her stupid little group of friends decided to gang up on me.

I wheezed as Chloe kicked me in the stomach. I fall down to the ground, curling up in a ball trying to shield myself the best I can to her attacks with Sabrina and a few other girls.

"What a loser!" I hear one girl laugh as more sharp kicks to my back and legs. "You stay away from my Adrien or else!" Chloe spat as she spits on my shirt and leaves with her little group of friends.

I laid there on the cold ground as I forced myself to get up. From the areas that they kicked and strike could already feel the heat and blood forming the bruises.

I grimly wipe Chloe's spit off my black hoodie and make my way to the washroom where I could clean myself.

I then grabbed the blade I had and add one deep scar down my arm, watching the blood peeking through the deep line and then drip into the sink.

I hissed as my arm throbbed and began to bleed even more. I bite down on my lower lip so hard that it bled too.

I taste the metallic tang of blood in my mouth making me cringe. I extended my arm as let the cold water sooth my skin.

I closed my eyes, taking in a deep breath before drying my arm and rolled my sleeve over top.

I look at myself one last time before putting in my head phones and playing "Home" by Machine Gun Kelly.

I take in a deep breath, letting the lyrics sooth me before I head to class, sitting in my usually place.

But what made my heart go eeratic was the fact that Adrien was sitting there in his usually sit.

Chloe of course was standing there too, flirting with him or something. I cautiously make my way up. She pauses and looks over at me. She smiled at Adrien-like he could see-and said her good-byes.

As she walked to her seat she shoved me causing my to fall hard on the ground causing many to laugh.

Adrien heard the loud thump and turned to where I had fallen. "You ok? Uh..Enid right?" I didn't say anything. I ignored his extending hand and forced myself to sit at my chair, letting out a whimper as I felt my body scream in pain.

Once the bell rang the lighter died down and class began.

:After school:

I step outside, reaching out and touching the cool water that poured from the sky to onto my hand.

I let out a sigh, closing my eyes, enjoying the feeling of the rain against my skin.

"Hey."

I gasped, eyes widened in fear, nearly falling backwards as I hear Adrien standing next to me.

"I-I didn't mean to scare you.."

My heart was pounding as I take a step away from him. I lowered my gaze to wet ground and my bow soaked shoes.

Adrien sighed, as he unclasped his umbrella and stepped into the rain. "I just wanted you to know that I..I just wanted to chat and..I don't know what I did wrong for you not to.."

He trailed off as I raised my head, staring at the back of his head.

"I never been to school before. I never had any friends. Its all sort of new to me."

I clenched my jaw, lowering my gaze again, as I forced myself to speak but nothing came out.

Suddenly he turned around and his umbrella was between us. His blind gaze met my teary and frighten ones.

He's willingly giving me his umbrella..

I stared at him for I don't know how long but slowly and shakily I extended my hand as my fingers brushed his.

His fingers were soft..warm even..it felt nice. His hand moved slightly as I take the umbrella, his hand moves over mine and he smiled a little.

My breath caught at the back of my throat. The feeling of his warmth made me blush. Well I..I think..

No one has ever been nice to me...never gave me the chance..

I worked down a swallow as his hand pulls away and I hold the umbrella, keeping my eyes on his blind ones.

Suddenly out of nowhere the umbrella closes on me and I let out a squeak.

In moments Adrien bursts into laughter. At first I wanted to cry, just because I embarrassed myself..

But then..

I began to smile, enjoying the sound of his laugh. Slowly I began to laugh too..

I actually laughed..it felt...kind nice..just to laugh and let go a little.

Adrien reached over and helped put the umbrella up again.

He was so close, I could almost hear his heart beat, feel the warmth of his breath.

He slowly stops laughing and regains his composure. "See you tomorrow Enid..ah you mind leading me.." He trailed off as I hummed in response.

I tapped his hand softly as his hand touched mine as I guide him to the car. He smiled over at me as he got in. "Thanks Enid."

I hummed once more as I stepped back, watching the car drive off.

I take in a deep breath as I began to walk home. I paused as fear took over. OH NO IM LATE!

Oh by the way I'm back at school so updates might be slow. Currently it's Saturday and I'm at the library trying to work on some homework but I love you guys too much so here's a new chapter!
