Sighing, I rubbed neck, "Do I really have to join you?"

"Yeah! Plus, why would you decline lamb skewers?"

My eyes lit up as he said those. Putting my hands in my pockets, I immediately exited.

It's been a year.. A year since Y/n left me. I tried to move on, but I can't. Even though I have a new significant other now, I still can't get her out of my mind.

Her smile, her laugh, how the side of her eyes crinkles whenever I went home early. I missed all of those, yet I know I just can't bring back the past.

I went to the counter to order but my eyes widened once I saw who was behind the counter.
