*Ishimaru's POV*

Ishimaru walked into the cafeteria, right on time as usual. He put some food on his plate and sat down at the table. "Ah, good morning Ishimaru-kun!" Naegi said, waving as he walked in. "Good morning to you as well Naegi-kun." Ishimaru greeted.

One by one, everyone came into the cafeteria. Chihiro greeted Ishimaru with a hug, in which Ishimaru gladly returned. Mondo came in late yet again, but Ishimaru was expecting that.

"Good morning kyoudai!" Ishimaru said, waving to him. Mondo gave him a lazy wave in return before piling food on his plate and plopping down next to him. Ishimaru wrinkled his nose at all the junk on his plate. "Kyoudai..." Ishimaru started.

"Yeah? What?" Mondo said grumpily. "... Never mind." (Kazuichi: Miss Sonia?! Dg22: Get out Kazuichi! This isn't Danganronpa 2!) Ishimaru said quickly, knowing a grumpy Mondo is not one to lecture on health. "Whatever..." Mondo muttered, stuffing his face.

Ishimaru waited patiently, his hands folded in his lap. "Good morning everyone! I have a very special announcement to make!" Junko exclaimed, standing on a table. "That is not appropriate behavior for-" "If you hadn't noticed, we aren't exactly in a school environment anymore." Togami interrupted.

"Talking back is not welcomed in a school environment!" Ishimaru snapped at him. "Don't ya go talkin' to my white knight like that you annoying hall monitor!" Syo said, whipping out her scissors. "A-annoying?! You shall be given a week of detention!" Ishimaru said, standing up to face her. "Shut yer trap, or I'll shut it for ya!" Syo threatened, slicing her scissors at him.

"Violence against another student is against the rules! You-" "OH WILL YOU JUST SHUT UP?!" Leon yelled, slamming his hands on the table. Ishimaru turned to him. "YELLING IS AGAINST THE RULES!" Ishimaru yelled.

"Aren't you yelling right now?" Yasuhiro asked. "You stay out of it!" Ishimaru snapped at him. "I-I totally predicted that!" Yasuhiro studdered, playing with his crystal ball. "Are you done fighting? I really have something important to tell you..." Junko said, twirling a piece of hair between her fingers.

"What is it now Junko?" Naegi asked, uncertainty slipping into his words. "Well you see..." Junko started, her hair in a ponytail and she was wearing glasses. Then she went back to normal except she was holding a Monokuma plush. "I've decided to let you all go outside! Upupupupu!" Junko said, impersonating the bear.

"O-outside?!" Ishimaru asked. His normally loud and bold voice came out quiet and small. Fear took over his expression for a minute before returning to his normal strict looking expression. "Don't tell me you're scared?! Why is it the ugly ones that make ya want to kill 'em?" Syo muttered, putting her hands on her hips.

Ishimaru clenched his fists and swiftly turned on his heels, walking out of the room. As soon as he was in the halls he bolted for his room. "Ishimaru!" He heard Chihiro call after him. Ishimaru didn't look back. He couldn't let them see the fear on his face. He arrived at his room and quickly went inside, locking the door behind him.

Ishimaru sat down on his bed and stared at the floor, fear taking over. I can't... Not after the last time I went home... Ishimaru thought, squeezing his eyes shut to keep himself from breaking his mask and crying.

Ishimaru's head shot up as someone banged on his door. There was some arguing on the other side before someone rang the doorbell. Ishimaru stayed silent as he got up and moved into the bathroom. He ran some water and splashed his face to calm himself. Drying his face, he heard the familiar click of a door opening.

Ishimaru mentally scolded himself for forgetting to lock it. "Ishimaru, where the hell are you?!" Mondo's voice echoed throughout the room. Ishimaru held his breath, hoping they would leave him alone, but to no avail. The bathroom door flew open and warmth enveloped him. Ishimaru started to shake as a few tears fell.

Ishimaru turned and wrapped his arms around Mondo, pressing his face into Mondo's chest. Mondo pulled the smaller Ultimate close and hugged him tightly, a small blush tinting his cheeks. Ishimaru's smaller form shook as he clung to him, crying into Mondo's chest.

After a few minutes Ishimaru pulled away shakily. "S-sorry kyoudai..." He muttered, drying his eyes. "Hey, don't go apologizin'." Mondo said, putting his hands on Ishimaru's shoulders. Ishimaru muttered "Ok" then looked up at him. "Wanna, dunno, tell me what was botherin' you?" Mondo asked. "... I'm sorry kyoudai, but I don't feel comfortable telling you." Ishimaru said quietly.

Mondo nodded. "S'alrigh' if you don't wanna say. Now, we should go meet up with the others." Mondo said. Ishimaru nodded and headed out of the bathroom, Mondo following. They headed to the main entrance, where the others would be waiting.

Ishimaru and Mondo walked side by side, their arms bumping occasionally. Ishimaru felt something warm close around his hand and looked to see Mondo holding his hand. Ishimaru felt a blush form as he looked up at Mondo. Mondo was staring ahead, a small blush spreading across his face.

"K-kyoudai... W-what are you doing?" Ishimaru asked. "Oh, sorry! I just wanted..." Mondo blushed darker and let go of his hand. Ishimaru immediately missed the warmth and looked away as he reached over, grabbing his hand again. Ishimaru's face flushed bright red as Mondo laced their fingers together.

As they neared the others, both boys quickly let go and just walked side by side, like the others would usually find them. "Looks like everyone's here now." Kirigiri said. "Ok, time to leave this place!" Junko yelled, her hair smoothed down and her eyes big, like a kittens. She held up a controller and made a big show of pushing the button.

A red light flashed and the door slowly opened. Mondo grabbed Ishimaru's hand again as the door opened all the way. The others looked either excited or nervous about what's out there. "Time to see the new world." Ishimaru said quietly.
