[Petir's POV]

TAP! TAP! TAP!

It was raining hard today...

BOOM!

With a sound of thunder rumbling...

CRASH!

And a sound of lightning flashing from the dark, stormy sky.

Here I am, seated on my bed with my arms placed on the edge of the window while gazing outside.

I observed the nature from outside.

I counted every strikes of lightning...

Listened to every thunder roaring and to the sound of raindrops falling...

And a sound of-

KNOCK! KNOCK!

A door knocking?

I turned my head around and faced the door, looking puzzled.

Who could it be this late at night?

I frowned as I got up from my bed and went towards the door, unlocking the lock and opened it up to see who it was.

Surprisingly, it was my little brother and noticed him...

Trembling?

Concerned, I asked, "What's wrong, Daun?".

"Uhh...umm...." He stammered anxiously. "D-Daun couldn't sleep b-because of the angry s-skies..." My little brother stated while his brown eyes stared at me, looking frightened as ever.

"C-Can Daun stay with b-big brother Petir...?" Daun asked, pouting sadly.

My eyebrows furrowed, pitifully staring at my little brother.

"Alright," I smiled as I gently ruffled his hair. "You can stay with me." I replied, allowing him to stay with me in my room throughout the night.

Daun then curved a small smile. "Thank you, big brother Petir!" He cheerfully said, making me smile more from his response.

I was silently reading my novel book as I also took a quick glance at my little brother from time to time.

I somehow noticed he was still nervously trembling due to the stormy weather.

"Daun?" I called him. "Are you okay?" I worriedly asked as I closed my book for a while.

Suddenly, a loud crash of lightning roared, making my little brother flinched and immediately dashed towards me and hugged me tightly.

"D-Daun's s-scared..." He mumbled as he looked at me with tears started streaming down his face, feeling terrified.

I deeply sighed as I embraced him, gently stroking his hair while thinking of something for my little brother not to be afraid anymore.

My lips formed a small smile as an idea appeared from my mind.

"Daun..." I softly called his name and loosened the hug for a bit to meet each other's faces. "How about this..." I said.

"Just think or imagine that the thunder rumbling is me, calling out for your name and the lightning strikes are also me, moving and teleporting everywhere to find you." I calmly stated, caressing my little brother's small, soft cheek while wiping his tears away.

"Just know I will always be there for you, okay?" I warmly said, smiling afterwards.

I noticed my little brother smiled sadly as he hugged me back again, saying, "I know you will always be there, big brother Petir..."

"Daun loves you." My little brother genuinely said, making me shed a tear from my eyes.

I smiled heartily.

"I love you too, my little brother..."
