▪️17 - Tired▪️
"You alright, Daun?" Api asked, looking at the leaf element worriedly.
Technically, Daun, Angin and Api were schoolmates and the three of them studies in the same school, not at all surprising since their big brothers also studies in the same school as them.
Currently, it was time to take their lunch breaks. Sadly, they could only meet up and see each other whenever it's time for their break time since, the three of them have different schedules with none of them shared same classes together. So during breaks, they would spend most of their time eating and talking to each other before they would separate their ways again for their next classes.
"Hm? Oh, I'm fine. I'm just thinking about something..." Daun replied, his eyes stared at the white, cement floor while pursing his lips.
"It's your big brother, isn't it?" Angin asked, making the leaf element nodded slowly as he heaved a sigh.
"You can talk about it with us, you know..." The fire element gently said as he placed a hand on the nature elemental's shoulder.
"There's no need to talk about it, Api." Daun stated. "I'm fine, really..."
Api deeply sighed as if, he wasn't satisfied by his leaf elemental friend's reply. "If you want to talk about it, both me and Angin will just be here to help you, okay?" He softly said, making the leaf element curved a small smile on his lips.
"Okay."
Not for long, the bell rang, signalling for all the students to go back to their respective classrooms for their next class.
The wind element pouted playfully and gave out a loud, groaning awe. "I don't wanna start our next classes yet!" He whined. "I hate history class!" He complained and kept ranting about how he disliked history and how he found it difficult to memorize all the regions of a certain country, which Api and Daun found it hilarious and giggled silently at their friend's reactions as they were walking through the hallway where their classrooms were located. After a few minutes of ranting, the wind element then calmed down and faced his best friends.
"Well I guess, I'll see you guys when I see you?" The blue-capped boy asked, smiling sheepishly at his friends.
"Yeah. See ya!" The red-capped boy waved his hand, bidding his farewell to his two friends as he made his way towards his next class. Angin and Daun also bid their goodbyes to each other as they separated their ways.

Quietly, the leaf element was heading towards his next class when...
Someone grabbed him, dragging him away from where he was going and pinned him on the locker while gripping his neck tightly.
Daun groaned, both of his hands held on to the person's hand who was gripping on his neck and looked up to that person.
"Well, well~" A tall boy as same level as Daun but two years older than him, cooed while grinning evilly. "I didn't know you're also studying in this school." He said, smirking.
The leaf element gritted his teeth, his brown eyes glaring at the boy. "Who are you!?"
"You don't remember me?~" The boy asked, his eyes narrowed with one of his eyebrows raised up.
The boy grinned wickedly. "You're that little kid near the ice cream cart, right?" He asked, making Daun gasped in shock, with his eyes widened in terror.
The nature element then remembered. He was one of the boys from before who was trying to scare him when his big brother arrived and protected him from them. He was shocked and couldn't believe that the boy who was trying to hurt him, was also studying in same school as him.
Daun suddenly felt his whole body trembling in fear as his eyes stared at the bully infront of him in horror. He tried escaping from his grasp but to no avail. His grip was too strong and it was hurting him every second.
"Heh. Pathetic!" The bully scoffed. "Who's going to save you now, huh?" He grinned as he tightened the grip more, making the poor, leaf element screamed in pain. He tried gasping for air as he was lacking oxygen to breathe because of the bully's tight grip on his neck.
Suddenly, someone placed a hand on the bully's shoulder, making the latter flinched and turned around. He saw a boy- whose age was more older than him- while wearing a formal, complete school uniform with a small badge pinned on his collar.
"Let. Him. Go." The teenage boy said, with a threatening tone in his voice.
The bully shivered, his grip immediately and completely letting go of Daun- causing the leaf element to fall down on the ground with a loud thud while coughing- as he quickly headed towards his class.
Concerned, the boy then quickly kneeled down to check up on Daun and asked. "Are you okay?"
The nature element looked up and saw the person who saved him.
"Big brother Tanah..." Daun breathed, as the said person smiled warmly at him.
"Hey, Daun." The earth element greeted softly, gently patting the leaf elemental's head.
"What are you doing here? Aren't you supposed to be in class?" The nature manipulator asked, his face filled with concern.
Tanah calmly smiled. "I should be," He replied. "But actually, I'm secretly playing the role of being a student council here in school." He stated, winking afterwards.
"It's my job to make sure all students are in their classes. It's also my duty to make sure nobody's physically hurting each other or they'll be going to detention since they've violated a rule, which is the 'No Bullying' rule." The brown-capped boy said.
"If that's the case then, why didn't you report the ones who were bullying you?" The leaf elemental asked, his head slightly tilted in confusion.
Tanah bit his lower lip as if, he was hesitating to answer the leaf element's simple but 'difficult to answer' question. The earth element opened his mouth to say something but nothing, not even a single word came out from his mouth.
"You know what, let's don't talk about myself. You're the one who got bullied here so, we should be talking about you." The teenage earth elemental said, chuckling nervously while changing the topic. The leaf element only let out a deep sigh and slightly nodded in response.
"Speaking of bullying, I should be reporting that student later on." Tanah muttered, facing the little leaf manipulator afterwards with a warm smile.
"Daun, it's your choice to whether you want to continue your class or just skip it for a while and later on, you'll resume to your next class." The brown-capped boy stated. "Don't worry, I'll tell everything to the teacher." He said, smiling afterwards.
The leaf element thought for a while, looking up the ceiling with his finger placed on his chin. "I think I'll continue my class right now." He replied, making the earth element nodded in response.
"Alright then. You may proceed to your class. I'll take care of the talking and the reporting." Tanah gently said, his lips curved a small smile.
"Farewell, I guess?" The student councilor said, waving his hand slightly, bidding his goodbye to the leaf element while smiling warmly.
Daun returned a small smile as he waved his small hand to the earth element, bidding his farewells too. "Goodbye, big brother Tanah! Thank you for helping me!" He warmly said as he made his way towards his class.
Tanah chuckled as he watched the leaf element walked towards his class with a gentle smile plastered on his face.
"You're welcome, Daun."

RRRING!
A sound of rapid footsteps and loud scream can be heard from the main door of the school.
The main door slammed open, revealing a numerous number of students rushing outside, their whole school week was over and it was time for another weekend.
Daun was quietly walking through the hallway, not minding the students passing by around him with both of his hands gripping on the straps of his bag and his head lowered down on the ground with a blank face. He reached the main door of the school and silently went outside.
As soon as the leaf element took a step outside, he felt a drop of liquid from above.
DRIP! DRIP! DRIP!
All of the sudden, it started raining hardly, making the little leaf element groaned in annoyance. He looked around and noticed all of his schoolmates had their own umbrellas except for him.
Daun had no choice but to go through the rain. He didn't care if he'd get wet since, he just wanted to go home shortly after school. He was supposed to wait for his big brother to finish his class but because of the fight of the two, he decided not to wait for him instead and walked along on his own.
He placed both of his hands on each of his elbows, his whole body shivering because of the cold weather. As he walked towards his home, he was tearing up all along as he kept thinking about his big brother.
Sometimes, he could see a vision of the two of them together, walking with his big brother holding the umbrella for the two of them to have a cover from the rain. He could see themselves laughing, and sometimes, seeing his big brother taking off his jacket and wrapped it around him for warmth.
He missed those memories.
He wanted them back.
He truly wanted his big brother back.
But still, he hadn't move on...
After a few minutes, he had already reached his home and immediately went inside to take cover from the heavy rain.

Few hours later, the lightning element was back home from school and entered their house.
The first thing he noticed was his little brother, hanging on to the railings of the stairs while panting lightly. Worriedly, Petir immediately rushed towards his little brother to check up on him.
"Are you okay, Daun?" He asked, placing a hand on his little brother's shoulder.
The leaf element slowly turned to face his big brother, his face was pale with his tired brown eyes staring back at him.
"Big brother..." Daun whispered faintly.
All of the sudden, his little brother collapsed on the floor and lose his consciousness.
The lightning element's eyes widened in shock.
"Daun!?"
====================================
This chappy was pretty long, isn't it? 😅
Actually, I wrote the half of this chapter during our PE time last Monday since I was waiting for my classmates to finish their game in table tennis as I waited for my turn.
And for the half of the story, I wrote few of the parts during our breaks in school.
So, yeah...^^
Stay tuned for the next chappy! 💞
Question: Do you think Tanah will report Petir, Air and Cahaya since they were bullying him?
