▪️15 - Different▪️
Action speaks louder than words.
As what people says.
But for Daun, he thought that...
Words are more powerful than action.
He was still feeling the heavy pain in his heart after that day.
He couldn't move on...
Nor get over it...
He was already prepared for it, that that day would eventually come...
That it would eventually happened...
That his big brother would say those words right infront of his face.
After all these years, his big brother finally spoke the truth.
That he doesn't need his little brother anymore...
Daun thought he could get hold of it.
And he thought he was fully prepared for it...
But the feeling in his heart couldn't take it...
He felt broken.
His heart felt like it shattered into millions of pieces.
And just like that, he felt depressed.
Unwanted.
Unneeded.
Petir should've left him alone that day if he truly doesn't need him anymore.
He shouldn't have looked for his little brother if he would only ignore him every time his little brother needed something from him.
Shaking those thoughts off, the leaf element was already done eating his breakfast and prepared himself for school.

[Petir's POV]
I finished taking a shower, changing into my school uniform, and wore my orange jacket amd my signature cap on. I then took my bag and went downstairs to eat my breakfast.
'I wonder how my little brother is doing right now...' I thought as I made my way downstairs then towards the dining table.
My eyes then glanced at the door and saw my little brother, already prepared and was already on the door to exit the house.
"Daun!" I called him, and thankfully, I caught his attention.
He turned around and faced me, and I noticed...
His eyes were dull...
And his face was slightly frowning...
He wasn't smiling brightly like before...
He wasn't the little brother I knew who was all cheerful and carefree...
Instead...
His mood was...different...today...
All I could see was his blank and expressionless face...
Then, I noticed something else...
Something that made my heart sank...
He wasn't wearing the cap I gave to him.
"Daun, honey." Our mother called, getting the attention of my little brother, which she did. "Aren't you going to wait for your big brother?" She asked.
My little brother then turned his head to face back at me and replied with a monotonous voice.
"No."
Just after he said that, he then exited the house, not wanting to wait for me anymore.
All of the sudden, I felt guilty,
And disappointed at myself...
I shouldn't have been too harsh to him. I shouldn't have hurt him that day. I shouldn't have yelled those mean words to him.
I blamed myself for what happened.
Then I thought...
'Maybe it's too late for me to apologize to my little brother...'

"Hey Petir? You okay, bro?" My friend, Cahaya asked worriedly.
It was our break time and I was staring blankly at my food, and I haven't even touched it yet as I thought about my little brother.
"YO!" Air exclaimed as he clapped both of his hands harder infront of me, making my head backed away as I snapped back to reality. My friends then laughed at my reaction.
'Annoying, stupid jerks...' I thought as I glared at my friends while gritting my teeth in annoyance.
"Woah! Chill, bro. No need to be short-tempered. You need to eat your food now before the bell rings. You haven't touched any of it yet." Cahaya said as he took a bite on his own food.
"I'm not hungry." I stated, standing up from my chair with my tray of food in hand.
"Where are you going?" Air asked as he frowned and raised an eyebrow up.
"Somewhere." I replied, and proceeded to the trash bin to throw my food away.

I was walking silently along the long hallway where my locker was located to get some things I needed for my next classes.
Both of my feet then stopped beside the window of my little brother's classroom and I couldn't help but take a quick peek inside to see how my little brother was doing...
Everyday while we're in school, my little brother was always looking at the window, patiently waiting for me to take a quick peek every of my break time to see him.
But now, he wasn't looking at the window anymore...
Instead, his eyes were focused on the teacher lecturing her class, not even taking any quick glances at the window where I was at right now.
I sighed sadly as I backed away from the window and made my way towards my locker, letting him be.

The leaf element was quietly listening to the teacher's discussion when he felt his big brother's presence.
His face frowned as he knew he was looking directly right at him through the window.
He wasn't interested to look back at him so he decided to pretend that he didn't noticed his presence at all as his eyes were focused on the teacher and her lectures.
When he noticed that his big brother wasn't there anymore, he let out a deep sigh as he looked back at his teacher and started listening to her lessons again, even though he couldn't even understand anything of what the teacher was actually discussing right now since he was thinking about his big brother all along.
