"Damn! Pick up your fucking phone, Veer!" Sid shouted, seeing his phone screen which displayed Veer's name but again for the 6th time the call got disconnected after ringing till the end. It has been more than 15 minutes since Bani went missing in the club but still they couldn't find her. Anu started sobbing as she was guilty and scared for forcing Bani to join them. Arjun had already sent his men to the club to find for Bani and ordered Sid to not give up on searching her. He also informed that he would reach there soon as he was driving from the outskirts of the city.

On the other hand, Veer was totally unaware of the happenings as he was performing heart transplant of a patient in the operation theatre. He always used to leave his phone in his cabin whenever he attends a surgery and that was the reason why he was not answering Sid, Arjun and Roshan's numerous phone calls.

Sid again called Arjun being terrified when he failed to find Bani after searching almost the whole club along with Arjun's men. "Arjun, I think we lost her. We have searched almost the whole club but she's nowhere to be found. I'm scared now. I failed to protect her again."

"Don't panic, Sid. Nothing will happen to her. I will be there in 10 minutes. And what do you mean by almost the whole club? Search in every damn places, idiot! Including the parking lot and also rooms if there are any!" Arjun yelled at him while increasing his speed.

"Okay, please come fast. That idiot Veer is not answering any of the calls. How could someone be so careless about his wife?" He groaned frustratedly.

"You told me that his siblings explained you about Veer being in a surgery right now, didn't you? So stop blaming him now and go and find for her!" He snapped at him and cut the call.

Sid and two of Arjun's men started searching each and every car parked in the parking lot while Anu and Roshan were still inside the club.

"Anu, did you search in the ladies washroom?" Roshan asked and Anu's eyes widened when the realisation struck her.

"Shit! No!" Anu gasped and snapped her head towards the direction that leads to the ladies washroom.

"Stupid! You should have done it earlier. Let's go!" Holding her hand, he dragged her towards the washroom area. "Go inside and see if she's there." He told her and she quickly entered into the washroom to look for Bani.

Anu came out within few seconds with a pale face and tears welled up in her eyes. "What happened? She's not there?" He asked desperately and she shook her head.

"We shouldn't have forced her to join us tonight, Roshan. She was reluctant at first but it was us who convinced her and now we lost her here." She sobbed again, hugging Roshan and he patted her back.

"Don't worry, Anu. Nothing will happen to her. We need to find her somehow before Veer bro finds this out. We can't face his wrath if he learns about his missing wife."

"But we can't hide it from him, Roshan. Please call him again and try to inform him about this. It has been more than 20 minutes since she went missing." Anu told him to which he nodded and dialled Veer's number again.

"Damn! The line is engaged now." He said, cutting the call.

"Engaged? It means he is on a call now. Call him again, Roshan."

Roshan kept calling again and again but the line was engaged the whole time. "He's not answering the call, Anu. He will call back once he sees the missed calls. Let's not waste anymore time now. Come, let's inform our friends and ask them to help us too!" He said and they beetled off to search for Bani again.

In 50-meter distance away from the club, there's a subway which leads to another direction that would never be on use during nighttime as it was built for pedestrians who cross it during daytime.

There stood a woman who was narrowing her eyes at three men in front of her. She was angry at the men for lying to her and started throwing tantrums while the 3 men were clenching their fists, controlling their urge of hitting her for giving them a hard time.

"You three men in black! Where is my husband? Liars! You guys said that he is waiting for me here but where is he now? I have walked so far with you guys and now how am I supposed to go back to my family?" She asked, glaring at them with her hands on her hips while struggling to keep her feet at one place.

"Ma'am, we have to walk further. Your husband is waiting for you there." One of the men said, pointing his finger at the direction which led to another end of the subway.

"No! I'm feeling dizzy already and I can't walk anymore. My feet hurts wearing this stupid heels. Ask my hubby to come here and carry me." She said stubbornly while leaning against the wall to balance herself.

The man signalled at the other two and they decided to drag her forcibly as she wasn't cooperating with their plan from the past 20 minutes. Two of them grabbed her each arm and started dragging her to which she finally understood that they were manhandling her. "Oh NO!!! I'm getting manhandled! Someone please help me! Leave me you morons! Hubby, where are you?! These 3 idiots are trying to ki--" She was cut off when the third man covered her mouth and they lifted her up to take her away from there quickly. She widened her eyes and started wiggling while trying to kick the person holding her legs but he tightened his grip around her legs making her wince in pain.

The three men stopped abruptly in their tracks when they heard a loud roar. They turned behind to see two men in formal standing there with guns in their hands but one of them was wearing shades and a cap that covered half of his face. Soon another man in casual joined them and stood between the two men. The three who were manhandling the woman immediately put her down and gulped seeing the guns.

"You gorilla! How dare you shut my mouth?" She scolded, stomping on the man who covered her mouth few seconds ago. Glaring at him, she stumbled from her place and looked up only to grin widely recognizing someone there.

"Ansh!" She squealed, trying to run towards Veer who was standing with Arjun and Sid there but one of the men grabbed her arm. Sid stepped forward and Arjun raised his gun but Veer beat them to it by shooting the man's arm which was holding Bani. He instantly left Bani and she screamed before she crouched down in fear, covering her ears and closing her eyes tight.

"How dare you touch my wife!!" Veer roared in rage with his bloodshot eyes fixed on the three men who gulped in fear. He pulled the trigger aggressively and the next second another man groaned holding his knee.

The third one turned back to run away from there but to their bad luck, the other direction was covered with other few men who work for Arjun. They instantly caught the 3 men who tried to kidnap Bani and took them away after getting a nod from Arjun.

The trio who were fuming with rage, calmed down seeing Bani who was shivering with fear there. "Sid, go back to his siblings and let them know that Bani is safe here." Arjun told Sid but Sid shook his head.

"No, I want to see our princess first." Saying this, he took a step forward but Arjun stopped him.

"Stop getting emotional, idiot! She shouldn't see us now. You just do what I said first and Veer will bring her there." He said, pushing Sid backwards and he sighed frustratedly before running back to the club.

Arjun turned to look at Veer who stood rooted to the spot while staring at Bani with an unknown emotion in his eyes. He touched Veer's shoulder and Veer blinked out a lone tear which he quickly wiped away. "Take her home, Veer. I will take care of those bastards who tried to hurt my princess." Arjun said, controlling his anger as his jaw tightened when thinking about someone hurting his princess.

"I'm sure it must be that Jaanvi's plan. Don't leave them until they spit out the truth. They should receive a well-advanced treatment for laying their filthy hands on my wife." Veer said, clenching his jaw and Arjun nodded at him.

Veer was about to go towards Bani but stopped hearing Arjun again. "Give me the gun. She will get afraid seeing the gun with you."

"No, let it be with me until I take her home safely." He said, tucking in the gun behind him and scurried towards Bani while Arjun quickly left the place. Veer crouched down and called her softly to which she opened her one eye and peeked at him.

"Ansh, you are here! I missed you hubby!" She squealed, throwing her arms on him and taking him into a tight hug.

"Are you alright, sweetheart? Did they hurt you anywhere?" He asked, breaking the hug and checked her to see if they had hurt her or not.

"No hubby, I'm not hurt. But I'm scared. I heard a loud noise just now and my heart started thumping rapidly." She pouted, patting her chest and Veer frowned at her.

She is drunk.
He thought, observing her intently.

"It's okay, I'm here with you now. I won't let anything or anyone to hurt you, baby girl." He gritted his teeth to control his rage and hugged her again.

"I thought that 3 men in black lied to me about you waiting for me here but you are really here. I need to apologize to them for scolding them with bad words." Saying this, she broke the hug and turned back finding for the 3 men but frowned when the subway was totally empty except Veer and Bani there.

"Where are they, Ansh?" She scratched her head confusedly then gasped when she realised something. "Oh My God! I saw you with a gun just now! You shot the man who was holding my arm, right?" She asked, widening her eyes in horror.

Veer opened his mouth to explain her but she interrupted him. "Were you jealous because he touched me? That's why you shot him, right?" She giggled and Veer mentally facepalmed. "That's so bad, hubby. Shooting someone is a bad habit. If you feel jealous, you can scold him but don't hurt anyone again, okay? You must be a good boy." She grinned, pulling his cheeks and Veer glared at her.

Seeing his glare, she showed him her puppy eyes while stumbling in her place and he quickly wrapped his arm around her waist before sighing at her.

"Are you drunk, baby girl?" He asked calmly, controlling his anger as she was not in a conscious state to face his wrath.

"No, hubby. I promise I'm not drunk. Drinking alcohol is a bad habit." She said with a pout.

"You are drunk, baby. Look at you, you can't even stand properly without taking support. Stop lying to me." He raised his eyebrow challengingly but Bani shook her head adamantly.

"No! I'm not lying and I'm not drunk, Ansh. Trust me, I asked for water and the waiter gave me that only. But you know, that was the tastiest water I have ever drank. I drank 4 glasses of that delicious water and I was about to ask for one more but these 3 men in black came to me and told me about you." She sighed and again widened her eyes when she remembered something.

"What happened?" Veer asked, seeing her horrified face.

"I didn't pay the waiter for the 4 glasses of water I had. Oops, he must be thinking of me as a bad girl. Ansh, come let's go back there and pay him. He shouldn't get scolded by his manager for giving me free drinks." Bani told him to which he looked at her being slightly amused.

How could someone be drunk, kind and cute at the same time?
He thought, shaking his head at her antics who was dragging him while stumbling herself.

"Hubby?" She called him sweetly while showing her pearly white teeth. Veer raised his eyebrow at her and she smiled extra sweetly while batting her eyelashes. "It's hurting there. Can you please carry me?" She said, pointing at her heels and swollen feet.

That's when Veer noticed her whole appearance and his eyes popped out of his socket seeing her wearing a modern dress instead of her usual traditional outfits. "Hubby?" She called him again, bringing him back to the real world.

"Sure." He bent down, wrapping his arms around her knees and waist and picked her up. She shrieked with delight and wrapped her arms around his neck, resting her hand against his shoulder. He took her to the parking lot and reached his car while listening to her continuous rambling. His expression hardened when he saw Anu and Roshan standing near his car with Sid there. He glared at his siblings and carefully put down Bani while they gulped sensing his anger.

"Hey guys, I missed you all so much. Why did you guys leave me alone there?" Bani pouted at three of them to which Anu and Roshan gulped even more when Veer's jaw tightened while Sid was looking at Bani with concern.

"Bani, are you okay? You are not hurt, right?" Sid asked, cupping Bani's face and Veer signalled him to stop his overacting as his siblings were staring at Sid confusedly. Sid instantly took off his hands and cleared his throat.

Bani tapped on her chin confusedly. "I think I saw you there. Wait, there was another man too! Who was that, Ansh?" She asked as she remembered seeing another 2 men with Veer. Veer tried to cover it but Sid beat him to it.

"Hey, we were searching for you here. Where did you go, Bani? Are you hurt anywhere?" Sid asked worriedly and Bani shook her head at him.

"No, you don't worry. No one can hurt me when my hubby is there with me." She said proudly, wrapping her arms around Veer's waist and he stiffened as he had his gun tucked in there. He removed her arms and made her stand beside him by wrapping his arm around her shoulder. "But sadly that man in black was hurt. My hubby shot him on his arm just now. I hope he will be fine soon. They have taken him to the hospital right, Ansh?" Bani asked and Veer nodded at her. The three others looked at her baffled as she was behaving weirdly.

"What's wrong with her?" Sid whispered to Veer.

"She is drunk and I think someone spiked her drink." Veer answered back.

"I will find it out soon and also Arjun told me what happened there. It's not safe anymore for her to be here. Take her home, Veer." Sid spoke softly to Veer and Veer nodded at him assuringly. Anu and Roshan never opened their mouths as they already knew what would happen to them once they get back home.

"Get in!" Veer barked at his siblings while helping Bani to sit on the passenger seat.

"B-bro, my car is--" Roshan instantly gulped his words upon receiving a death glare from Veer.

"It will reach home before us. Now keep quiet and get inside. I don't have all day to waste here." He yelled rudely and they quickly got inside the car. He walked around to take the driver seat but stopped when Sid walked towards him.

"Give me the gun, Veer. It's not safe for you to keep the gun when you have no license for it. You have a reputation here so don't ruin it yourself." Sid said, making Veer give him a weak smile.

"You still care about me, Sid." He smirked, passing the gun to him and Sid rolled his eyes.

"And listen, don't be rude to Anu. I have already scolded her and I'm feeling bad for it now. She is not aware of anything and in fact, Roshan is also not--" He was cut off by Veer.

"No, I have to teach them a lesson so that they won't even think about repeating this mistake again. We would've lost Bani because of their stupidity and playfulness today so I'm not going to leave this matter at ease." Saying this, Veer climbed inside the car and drove towards the Singhania mansion.

"Veeru ji?" Bani poked on his arm and he glanced at her before focusing back on the road.

"What?"

"You're looking so hot now." She blurted out, making Veer apply the brake suddenly. Anu and Roshan jerked to the front and Veer turned back to glance at them.

"Wear your seatbelt." He told them and they obeyed.

"Don't disturb me when I'm driving, Bani." He warned her as she started poking on his cheek.

"Ouch! Please shave your beard, hubby. It's poking me." She pouted at him, making Anu and Roshan to smile silently.

"Keep your hands to yourself so my beard won't poke you." Veer replied back and Bani giggled at him before going silent all of a sudden.

Veer glanced at her after some time and she snickered when she caught him glancing at her. "I caught you. You are stealing glances at me, right?" She giggled and Veer sighed exasperatedly.

"Keep quiet and sleep, Bani. It's getting late already."

"I'm not sleepy, hubby. And stop calling me Bani. Call me baby girl like you always do. Hey no! Call me sweetheart. I like it when you call me sweetheart." She said shyly while making circles on his hand which was on the gear.

"Sleep, sweetheart. You're looking tired." He said calmly and she giggled more.

"You are so good, Ansh. I like you a lot, you know?"

"I know and I like you a lot too." He smiled at her, forgetting about the two human beings sitting on the back seat.

"Then why are you not kissing me yet?" She whined sadly, earning few gasps from the back seat.

"I asked you to keep quiet, Bani." He said, glaring at his siblings through the rear-view mirror who were snickering there silently.

Suddenly Bani shifted closer to Veer and clung onto his left arm. "When are you going to kiss me, Ansh? I have dreamed a lot about our first kiss, you know? I can't wait to feel your cute, pinkish lips on mine." She said pouting at him and his breath hitched hearing her. Anu and Roshan gasped again making Veer get embarrassed to a whole new level.

Oh God, please make her shut her mouth before she reveals anything else. I'm getting extremely embarrassed in front of my siblings and I don't want them to learn anything about our private life now.
He prayed, rubbing his temples frustratedly.

Few seconds later, Veer's eyes widened when Bani started playing with his shirt button. In fact, she was trying to open it and Veer quickly held her hand to stop her. "Stop doing it, Bani." He whispered to her and she rested her face on his left bicep.

"Stop doing what?" She giggled while looking up at him with a mischievous look on her face.

"You know what you are doing. Stop doing it before you regret about it later." He warned her and she shrugged innocently before opening the first button of his shirt. Veer slapped her hands away and glared at her. "Sweetheart, better stop it if you don't want us to meet with any accident now. Let me focus on my driving until we reach home safely."

Bani pouted first and grinned mischievously again. "Why? Are you getting affected by my touch?" She tried to raise her eyebrow but failed miserably in her drunken state.

I'm sure she's going to get more embarrassed tomorrow once she becomes sober.
Veer thought, smiling at her bluntness in amusement.

The rest of the ride went silently as Bani drifted off to sleep along with Roshan and Anu. Once they reached home, he woke them up to which Anu and Roshan got down and quickly ran into their rooms before they could face his wrath while Bani snuggled more onto Veer's arm lazily.

With no options left, Veer picked her up and took her to their room, heaving a sigh of relief for reaching home safely with his sweetheart.
