That's how I have been shouting at myself so that my good-for-nothing brain would shut off and let me sleep for some time. But no! That idiot decided to make it a sleepless night for me by being overactive at 4:17am.

Will you let me sleep now or you want me to take you out from my skull?
I barked at my brain while tossing and turning in the bed. I looked at Sam who was sleeping peacefully without even bothering about the poor sleep-deprived soul here. I really regretted for leaving my room and my husband there. No doubt that he would be sleeping peacefully without bearing my weight in his arms there.

Don't think about him, Bani. Do you remember how he deceived you by not taking you out on your 1st monthsary?
My inner voice reminded me and I glared at the ceiling for grabbing my attention in the middle of night.

After making almost 500 different movements in the bed, my useless brain finally decided to shut off and let me sleep. Closing my eyes, I was about to be engulfed by sleep but suddenly a loud music reached my ears and I groaned frustratedly.

"Oops, I'm sorry sweetie. It's my alarm." Sam said when I groaned loudly being annoyed at that stupid alarm.

"Why did you set the alarm now, Sam? You would usually wake up at 7am, right?" I asked without opening my eyes.

"It's already 7 in the morning, sweetie. Good morning!" She wished me in a cheerful tone and my eyes flew open the next instant when she told me about the time.

Are you happy now, stupid? You didn't let me to sleep the whole night! I swear I'm going to throw you out from my skull very soon. I can remain brainless for the rest of my life but I will never let a cheater like you to stay inside me.

I was busy cursing my brain when I felt a hand caressing my hair. I turned to see Sam looking at me worriedly. "Are you alright, Bani? Did you sleep well last night?" She asked, making me glare at her.

"Don't remind me that again, Sam. You are just like your son. Both of you are really selfish. I was suffering here without getting a wink of sleep the whole night but you and your son were sleeping peacefully without caring about me? How mean! I hate you both!" I scowled at her and climbed down the bed.

"Hey sweetie, what's wrong? You didn't sleep last night?" She asked being concerned but I was too annoyed to care about it. Without bothering to reply her, I left the room and walked back to her son's room.

That's your room too, baby girl.
My inner voice mocked me in my husband's tone.

Shut up! That's not my room anymore. I'm going to shift to another room today. I will never talk to him until he apologise for deceiving me last night.
I snapped at her and opened the bedroom door. I peeked into the room to see it empty and also it was clean and neat like how it used to be.

Good! So he cleaned the whole mess last night? Well, he deserved it.

Getting into the closet, I hurriedly took out a new pair of clothes along with my toiletries and left the room. I knew he would be at gym from morning 6 to 7:30 so I quickly grabbed my belongings and ran into one of the empty guest rooms in the second floor. I took a deep breath after shutting the door behind me and decided to do my morning routine.

I sneaked out of the guest room after getting ready and quickly ran towards the lawn before anyone could see me. It was just 7:30am and no one was on my way so I successfully reached the lawn and settled on my favourite swing while looking at the birds chirping with their partners cutely. I just didn't want to see anyone at the moment so I decided to stay there until all of them leave to their respective jobs.

I was admiring the way the birds were communicating with each other when I felt a tap on my shoulder. My body became stiff and I closed my eyes praying that it shouldn't be my husband.

"Hey Bani, what are you doing here?" I released a sigh when I heard Shreya's voice instead of his voice.

Giving a polite smile at her, I replied to her question. "Hey Shreya, good morning. I just thought of getting fresh air so yeah. What are you doing here without Rey?"

She grinned at me, pushing me aside with her body and settled beside me on the same swing. Although it was made for a single person but it had sufficient space for two slim bodies like us. "Rey is with his father as it's his duty today to get him ready for the day and I just came here searching for you. Why are you sitting here alone? Did you fight with your husband?" She asked, making my eyes go wider.

"No! I-I didn't fight w-with anyone." I stuttered as she narrowed her eyes at me with a knowing look.

"Don't lie. I know you fought with him and also you slept with our mother-in-law last night." She smirked at me and I groaned inaudibly.

Such a smirk family. Smirk should have been their middle name.

I giggled, thinking about the new names I put for them.

"Oye, why are you laughing yourself?" Shreya asked, shaking me and I instantly shut my mouth.

"Nothing. I just zoned out. So how do you know about where I slept last night?" I asked her, raising my eyebrow.

"Obviously our father-in-law told me that. I even heard that both of you chased him away from his own room last night." She giggled and I facepalmed myself. Pity him. I shouldn't have done that to him last night. I made a mental note to apologize to Amar uncle later. "So tell me why did you both fight yesterday? Did he refuse to have some kinky activities with you?" She whispered the last sentence as if she was telling me a secret.

"Huh? Kinky activities? What does that mean?" I frowned at her hearing a new word but her eyes popped out from her socket and she covered her lips with her palm dramatically.

Did I forget to say that Shreya is a big drama queen in this house?

"What????" She screamed, busting my eardrums. I instantly covered my ears and glared at her. "You don't even know what is kinky? So I assume that you guys are a boring couple who have never tried different ways of doing it." She said, shaking her head disappointedly.

"What's wrong with you now? Different ways of doing what?" I asked annoyedly.

"I mean doing the deed, you know?" She winked at me and I narrowed my eyes at her.

What deed? Why is she speaking so complicated words today? I just hope she is not possessed by any ghost.

I shifted away from her but she pulled me back to her. "What deed?" I asked and Shreya looked at me from top to bottom with a shocked expression.

"You dumbo! She's talking about sex." A voice whispered next to me and I snapped my head towards my right. I screamed loudly seeing the devil's face so close to me and Shreya too screamed after hearing me. I turned to my left and gave a sheepish smile to Shreya.

"Oh God, you scared me. Why did you scream like you saw any ghost here?" Shreya asked and I shook my head.

"Nothing, I just wanted to scare you. I'm sorry." I chuckled nervously and she sighed, hitting on my arm playfully. I turned towards my right to see that devil giggling at my face.

You zombie, what are you doing here?
I asked in my mind voice.

"I was just doing my morning workout here when I heard an interesting conversation going on between you two so I stopped it in halfway and joined you guys here." She grinned at me.

Are you crazy? What's the need for you to do morning workout? Don't you have any ot---

"Bani!!! You zoned out again. Tell me what happened and why did you both fight last night?" Shreya cut me off and started shaking me impatiently. I was sure I would pass out any moment if she shakes me like that as my brain was not functioning at all for not sleeping the previous night.

"She's asking right? Tell her, Bani. Why did you both fight last night? Did your husband refused to do the deed with you last night" Devil teased, giving me a wicked smile and I glared at her.

Ignoring her, I turned towards Shreya who was looking at me impatiently. "Shreya, I think Rey will be searching for his mom so why don't you go and see him first?"

"No, he is happy to be with his father. Now you tell me. You guys have never tried different ways while doing the deed?" She asked, going back to the same topic again.

"Oh come on, these two dumbos haven't done the deed yet so how could they try different ways of doing it? Such a boring and waste couple. They don't know how to enjoy their married life." Devil answered instead of me while rolling her eyes and I groaned at both of them.

Unfortunately, Shreya couldn't hear what that devil said so she was still looking at me expectantly for an answer from my side. "Shreya, I don't feel comfortable to speak about it so please leave the topic. We didn't fight last night. I just wanted to sleep with Sam so I did it." I told her calmly but she shook her head.

"Hey, come on. We are girls, right? Why are you so shy about it? Okay, leave about the previous night. Now tell me how many times you guys have done it? How was your first time actually?"

"Done what? And what first time?" I asked, giving her a blank look.

"Oh God, how many times did you guys have sex since your marriage?!" She shouted and I quickly shut her mouth with my palm and turned around to see if there was anyone near us. I breathed a sigh of relief when I found no one there and turned to glare at Shreya.

"Oh My God! Shreya, please shut your mouth. Why are you being so shameless early in the morning?" I asked, shaking my head in disbelief.

"So you mean I can be shameless at some other time?" Shreya giggled.

"Hey dumbo, she is not being shameless. She is being open-minded but you are the dimwit here who have wasted 1 month of your married life without doing anything." That devil decided to butt in.

I lowered my head frowning as I remembered how he refused to take me out the previous night. "Bani, are you okay? Don't take it serious. I'm just teasing you, nothing much. You don't have to speak about it if you are really not comfortable with me." Shreya said, patting my shoulder and I felt tears forming my eyes.

"I'm more than comfortable with you, Shreya. It's just that we haven't done anything or any deed like you said to speak about it." I said, looking my hands which were on my lap. She held my chin and turned me to look at her.

"What are you saying, Bani? It has been one month right? Both of you have never approached each other until now? Are you both not doing good with your relationship? I know it was an unexpected sudden marriage but I could see you both being happy and caring for each other from the past 3 weeks."

"No, Shreya. I mean we are happy and we care for each other. In fact, I like him too but I'm not sure about what he thinks about me. He doesn't express anything to me. You know what? We still haven't had our first kiss until now even though I always sleep in his arms. I think he is just with me because it's his responsibility but I don't think that he is interested in me. Maybe I don't deserve him or maybe someone else deserves him." I poured my heart out with tears flowing down my eyes. I didn't want to show my vulnerable side to Shreya but I couldn't control myself when she asked me about it.

What if only his Jaanu deserves him?

Shreya was telling me something but I couldn't hear or focus on it as the devil was nearly shouting at me. "You idiot! How many times do you want me to tell you? Just yesterday only I asked you to confront him when that unknown witch feed you with not so good information but again you are repeating the same mistake. Stop taking that witch's words into your mind! Just for once please trust your husband and let him open up to you. Why do you always judge him without knowing the truth?" Devil yelled at me and I chuckled at her.

I mocked her and she scowled at me.

"Oh girl, I did it just to annoy you as you were not spending time with me since Sam proposed to you about this marriage. But you can trust me when I say your husband is one hundred percent loyal to you and he's never going to betray you. Just give him some time to express his feelings to you."

Stop convincing me, Devil. He is not interested in me and he can never be. Even last night also he promised to take me out but he didn't do it. He always distracts me whenever I ask him something. I'm sure he's not interested in me so stop lying to me.

"Arghhh!!! Idiot! Idiot! Idiot! Why are you so stubborn? Just give him some damn time and you wouldn't lose your weight in doing so! Maybe he has his own reasons for not taking you out but that doesn't mean he is not interested in you. Can't you see it in his actions? He likes you, dumbo! And soon he will start loving you too. Just wait for it patiently you brainless woman!" She yelled at me angrily and vanished off before I could register her words in my brain.

"Bani? Are you even listening to me? Why are you zoning out again and again? Anyway, see there your prince charming is coming towards us." Shreya shook me and I instantly looked up to see him walking towards me with his gaze fixed on me. I lowered my head and Shreya left whispering "all the best" in my ear.

I could see his feet in front of me and he cleared his throat making me look up at him. He was looking at my eyes as if looking directly into my soul through my eyes. I lowered my eyes again in his intense gaze and I could feel blood rushing to my cheeks.

My crazy cheeks, stop showing him that I'm blushing now.

He held my both wrists and pulled me up making me collide with his chest. I gasped at his sudden act and held onto his arms to balance myself. "Baby girl?" He called me in a soft tone and I hummed at him. "Are you still angry with me? What are you doing here? I heard that you didn't sleep at all last night. May I know why?" He asked, making me narrow my eyes at him. Only then I noticed him smirking at me sexily with a eyebrow raised.

"Who said I didn't sleep last night? In fact, I slept more peacefully than ever." I snapped at him and his smirk grew wider.

"Yeah yeah, your eyes are telling me how peacefully you slept last night." He said, wrapping his arms around my waist and closing the gap between us.

"What are you doing now? I'm still angry with you. I have decided to not to talk to you so don't disturb me and don't touch me!" I said, pushing him away. I mean trying to push him away but that steel body was not even moving an inch away from me.

"I know, baby girl. I know how angry you are when your cheeks turned into crimson red once you saw me approaching you here." He said in a teasing tone and I started cursing my cheeks for betraying me.

"Yes, I'm very angry with you that's why my cheeks turned red to express my anger." I tried to cover it and he chuckled at me making me understand that he didn't believe my lie.

"Okay, if you are really angry with me then I will make it up to you." He whispered huskily, giving me goosebumps all over my body.

"It's okay, you don't have to do anything for me. I know you are not interested in me." I said, lowering my head with a pout. I wanted to know what he thinks about me and I decided provoke him in this way.

"Who said I'm not interested in you? Did you forget what I told you yesterday, baby girl? I have been interested in you from the moment I saw you at the home a month before our marriage. How could you forget this important information, kitten? I'm hurt, you know." He pouted, making my eyes go wide in shock. I rubbed my eyes and opened them again to see him still pouting at me like a child.

Oh My God!!! The arrogant Singhania is pouting at me like a baby? I can't believe my eyes.

The next moment he straightened his face and raised his eyebrow at me. "What did you just say? Arrogant Singhania?" He asked and I instantly bit my tongue.

Shit! I said that aloud I guess.

I smiled at him sheepishly and tried to come out of his grip but instead he tightened it more and my breath hitched when his forehead touched mine. "Sweetheart, don't go away from me." He called me with a new endearment making my already racing heart to race more.

"Swe-sweetheart?" I asked and he gave me his charming smile.

"Yes, sweetheart. Do you like it?" Leaning forward, he whispered near my ear making me blush more. I smiled at him and placed my palms on his chest to push him away. "Now after seeing your blush again, I assume that you like it, sweetheart." He said, kissing my both cheeks and I giggled, hiding my face against in his chest. His chest vibrated indicating that he was laughing silently looking at my flushed face.

"I have an endearment for you too. May I?" I asked, still hiding my face from him.

"Oh wow. Sure, baby girl. You don't have to ask my permission for it."

I raised my head to look at him and he was already gazing at me with his hypnotising eyes. I smiled at him and whispered shyly. "Ansh." I looked at him to see his smile fading away and his arms which were wrapped around me waist dropped down. I was disappointed to see the look he was giving me. It was the same look he gave me when he put sindoor on my forehead for the first time.

Didn't he like the name?

"Hmm, you know Veeranshu is quite long to pronounce and everyone calls you Veer here so I wanted to try something new. It's okay, I won't use it again if you don't like it." I said, looking at my feet but the next moment I gasped loudly when he took me into a bear hug.

"No, sweetheart. I love it when you call me Ansh. Please continue with that after this." He said excitedly while hugging me more tighter and I released a sigh of relief while wrapping my arms around him.

"Okay, Ansh. You also continue with sweetheart rather than using that kitten." I scrunched up my nose while using that kitten word. I hated it to the core.

"No, kitten. I can't stop using it." He chuckled while breaking the hug and I glared at him. But to my surprise, he pecked on my nose and ran away from there excitedly making my eyes pop out of my socket. That was the first time for me to see him behaving like a normal and excited human being rather than maintaining a poker face all the time.

Oh No! How did I forget that? I thought to give him silent treatment until he takes me out but here I ended up giving a nickname for him? I'm so whipped.
