Open = Allowing access or passage

Closed = Not open

Those two things are completely different, right? Okay!

So when you have a forum up in one of the clubs and it reads ‘Open’ that means your allowing access. I don’t care if you comment on your forum and say:

‘Guys, it’s closed. Don’t comment!’

If the title reads ‘Open’ guess what?

IT’S STILL OPEN.

It’s not hard the change the title. Just click ‘edit’ on your original post and change the ‘OPEN’ in your title to ‘CLOSED’

IT’S NOT THAT HARD!

If someone comments on it, don’t get mad at them. You’re the one who left the forum open. It’s your fault.

This problem was actually brought up to me by writer720. Here’s what she had to say:

I commented on this thread (that said it was open in the title). After a while I got a reply back, and it was the person screaming at me! they said that the thread was closed, but they didn't own the thread, so they couldn't change the title. they said to me

"SERIOUSLY, IT SAYS IT RIGHT IN THE LAST COMMENT ON THE THREAD. I EXPLAINED EVERYTHING. THIS IS REALLY GETTING ANNOYING" 

Seriously? I'm sorry, but I don't look through every comment on the thread. The thread being closed is one thing: but they don't need to yell at people because they request! this seriously annoyed me.

Also, I hate inactive threads. Well, inactive threads that say there open.

I commented on a few critiquing threads months ago, that both said they were open.

And they never replied!

I looked, and they had never replied to anyone else, either.

THEY SHOULD BE CHANGING THE THREAD TITLE IF THEY AREN'T ACTIVE ANYMORE.
