One direction has not only invaded reality, now its invaded Wattpad? Please kill me now.

This rant is super personal to me. I’m so annoyed with all these one direction books everywhere! I’m sorry to break it to you but you’re never going to marry them. I doubt you’ll ever even meet them.

I know that’s extremely harsh to say, but if it stops all the stories about them, good! Wattpad has been invaded with all of this One Direction nonsense.

I can live with them being chosen as actors, I can live with a couple of fan fictions. But I can’t stand that almost every fan fiction book out there is a One Direction one!

Yeah, I don’t even know what else to say. One Direction fan fictions need to stop. I think that’s enough, right?

And if you’re wondering why no one is really reading your stories, look at your works. If there’s more than three One Direction books, that’s why. You might think everyone loves One Direction, but not a lot of people do.

And other Wattpaders feel the EXACT same way. Here’s what some of THEM think! Just to stress my point that I’m not the only one.

I am also sick or of 1d fan fictions. My friend is practically obsessed with them. When she was sick the other day, she read 6 whole books!!! i mean, come on! There are thousands of other decent books on here! Why read the same thing so many times?

Yes, they are so annoying! I keep seeing them in the fanfictions. Even my friend who writes about them doesn't like them that much. I keep seeing "A Harry Styles Fanfiction" or "A One Direction Fanfiction" and it is irritating. Why do people even write about them? Its not like they're best people in the history of mankind!

Most of those stories have the same bloody plot line too, if you can call it a plot line. How can people read those? And you would think you would see other celebrity fanfics but you don't, they are all 1D on here. Even if you steer clear of the fanfic category you'll still run into 1D stories somewhere. It's an over population but there isn't anything to stop them. Where are all the well written stories? They're all buried under 1D stories.

I'm not sure how they can even be considered fan fiction. It isn't as if them being in the band is ever important to the plot. I've read a few where they're simply short self inserts and the band member is a vampire? And a lot of the time the main character doesn't even know who they are. Couldn't they just write a vampire story with an original character? I'm not sure I see the appeal-- but then again I'm a straight male in college and not a fan of the band.

Here are my thoughts on One Direction fan-fiction:

WHY? WHY IS IT NECESSARY TO WRITE SUCH TERRIBLE THINGS SO YOU CAN SATISFY YOUR INNER URGE TO LOVE THEM? Or your outer urge, hehe.

I've only read one One Direction fan-fiction that had a "plot". I swear to Gandalf, almost all of them don't have logic, or common sense?

I see all these ones with the word "bully" in the title..... With a girl being BULLIED by One Direction.

1.) I've seen One Direction on youtube every now and again, and they look like actual NICE PEOPLE, even if their music isn't tasteful to me.

2.) If someone BULLIES you, then I'm almost 100% sure that they will NEVER like you.

3.) Bullying is serious and One Direction fan-fictions are abusing the term. (Of course there's original stories on here that abuse it too though)

How the hell do people enjoy that? It's disturbing! Let's say I was bullied everyday of my life, and then all of a sudden my "bully" is sorry and wants to be my boyfriend. After years of mental torture (and I've even seen ones with PHYSICAL torture) I don't think you'd want to be involved with that person in any size, shape or form.

Another thing I've noticed is the blatant self-insertion of people into these stories. I once read one for a read for read..... NEVER AGAIN.

It doesn't help that almost all of them have terrible grammar and some even tlk lyke dis .___.

The only One Direction fan fic I've ever enjoyed is by with_love_from_katie, because, well, she's awesome and knows how to write.
