Recap: Sanju taken to hospital after she falls unconscious

****************

Pavi and Keerthy waited outside the treatment room, fingers nervously fidgeting as the doctors checked on Sanjana. After a day full of laughter, games, and relaxation with their friend, they should have been at peace but Sanju's sudden collapse weighed heavy on them. The guilt gnawed at their hearts, making them wonder if they had missed the signs—if she had truly enjoyed the day or silently battled stress.

Just then, Ranjith's car screeched into the hospital premises. Even before he could fully hit the brakes, Aryan leapt out and ran inside like a storm. The hospital staff flinched, startled by the urgency in his movements. His voice echoed through the corridor, snapping Pavi and Keerthy out of their anxious trance.

"Pavi! Where is Sanju? How is she?" Aryan asked, his voice tight with panic.

"Bro, doctors are treating her," Pavi replied, pointing towards the treatment room.

"Did the doctor say anything?"

"No, but she will be fine," she said, though her voice wavered slightly.

"What happened exactly?" Aryan demanded.

Keerthy stepped in to explain. "Bro, she was perfectly alright. We were having such a pleasant time—we even played in the water. Later, we bathed and sat in the garden for coffee. She went inside to get her phone and call you... That's when she suddenly collapsed. We tried to wake her, but she didn't respond."

"Could she have been stressed?" Pavi asked aloud, almost to herself.

"No, she wasn't stressed," Aryan answered firmly.

Just then, the doctor emerged from the treatment room, calling Aryan's name.

"Doctor... how is she? Did she get stressed?" Aryan asked immediately.

"Relax, Aryan. She's absolutely fine," the doctor reassured him.

"What happened to her?"

"She's awake now. Go meet her first, we'll talk later."

Without another word, Aryan rushed into the room. Sanjana was sitting on the hospital cot, looking pale but awake. Relief surged through him as he ran to her, cupping her cheeks and kissing her forehead with tears brimming in his eyes.

"Sanju, what happened, baby? I was scared to death until I saw you."

"I'm fine, Aryan," she said gently, wiping the tears from his cheeks and pressing a kiss on them.

"How are you now? Tell me what happened?"

"Aryan, look at me," she said, taking his hand and guiding it to her abdomen.

His eyes followed her gesture in confusion.

"What is it, sweetheart?"

"Shhhh, calm down," she whispered, a soft smile playing on her lips. "Look how your son scared you even before he's born."

His eyes blinked, stunned by her words. Then, understanding dawned. He looked at where his hand rested, then back at her face—now a blushing mess. His eyes widened, tears of joy rising as the reality sank in. He nodded slowly, as if asking for confirmation, then gently caressed her abdomen with reverence, like touching a delicate flower.

"Sanju... sweetheart... I love you. I love you so much," he whispered, pulling her into a gentle hug and kissing her hair.

"I love you too," she said, her voice trembling with emotion.

"I thought I'd be left alone for the rest of my life," he murmured. "But then you came and gave my life meaning. And now... our love has got a life. I'm the happiest man in this world right now. You and our baby—you both are my everything."

He pulled back, gently pecking her lips.

"Thank you for coming into my life. And for our baby."

"Don't be thankful, idiot," she scolded playfully. "We are meant to be together. We were born for each other. No need to be sorry or thankful—we'll just love each other."

"I love you so much, mommy."

"Love you too, daddy," she giggled.

They shared a quiet laugh, eyes locked in joy. Then Aryan said, "Everyone is scared outside. Let's calm them first."

"Call them in," Sanju nodded.

Aryan opened the door. "You can come in now."

Ranjith, Pavi, and Keerthy rushed inside, the fear on their faces quickly replaced with confusion when they saw the couple blushing, standing close.

"Sanju, what happened? How are you?" Pavi asked, rushing to her.

"I would've died of fear, Sanju!" Keerthy added, almost in tears.

"Pavi, Keerthy, Ranjith anna... I'm fine. Please relax," Sanju assured them.

"Sanju, do you know how fast we drove to reach the hospital?" Ranjith asked, his tone more relieved than angry. "Tell us what happened!"

Sanju turned to Aryan, silently asking for help.

"Why are you looking at bro? Come on, tell us!" Keerthy teased.

Aryan cleared his throat, drawing their attention.

"Hmm... We are going to be parents soon," he announced.

The trio stared at each other in shock, then squealed in delight. The girls rushed to hug Sanju, while Ranjith clapped Aryan on the back and pulled him into a congratulatory hug.

"Oh my God, Sanju! You made me an aunt so soon! I'm so happy!" Pavi exclaimed.

"You're going to have a baby! YAYYYYY!" Keerthy squealed.

Sanju covered her face in shyness as Aryan smiled, watching them with pride.

"I'll meet the doctor," he said, about to leave.

"I'll come too," Sanju started to get up.

"No. Don't get down. You need to rest," Aryan said firmly. "I'll be back soon."

Just then, the doctor entered the room again.

"No need. I've come myself. Congratulations, Mr. and Mrs. Aryan."

"Thank you so much, doctor," the couple replied in unison.

"Doctor, how is her health?" Aryan asked immediately.

"She's at the end of her second month," the doctor said. "How did you not notice any symptoms till now?"

"She did seem tired these past few days," Aryan admitted. "But we didn't think it might be pregnancy."

"That's okay. She is a bit weak and needs definite rest. I'll prescribe supplements and a proper diet plan."

"Sure, doctor. Thank you so much."

"From next month, you can fix an appointment with the gynaecologist and start regular checkups. For now, make sure she rests at least a month—it's important for the baby's safety."

"I will take care of everything," Aryan promised.

"You can take her home now," the doctor said before taking his leave.

Sanju began to move, trying to get down from the bed. But before her feet could touch the floor, Aryan scooped her up into his arms.

"Aryan! What are you doing? Put me down!" she laughed, startled.

"Shhh... Let's go home," he whispered, holding her close.

The trio gasped in surprise at the couple's sudden announcement, then quickly followed them out of the hospital room.

"Pavi, Keerthy, do you want to join us home?" Aryan asked as they walked toward the exit.

"No bro, we'll go to our place," Pavi replied with a warm smile.

"Then Ranjith, tell the guards to drop them safely at home," Aryan instructed.

Ranjith hummed in acknowledgment and hurried to drive the car to the hospital entrance. Aryan, still carrying Sanju in his arms, helped her into the back seat gently and got in beside her. All the way back, he held her hand, softly caressing her knuckles in silence.

As they reached home, Kowsalya came rushing out to welcome them. Ranjith had already informed her of the good news, and she looked elated. The house staff had gathered near the entrance, all smiles and warm wishes, ready to congratulate their master and his wife.

Aryan helped Sanju out of the car, steadying her gently. Kowsalya immediately warded off evil eyes with a traditional ritual, circling her palm around Sanju's face.

After receiving heartfelt wishes from everyone, they settled into the living room. Kowsalya didn't waste a moment—she returned with a glass of fresh juice in hand and walked straight to Sanju.

"Mom, no please. I'm not hungry," Sanju said, pushing the glass away lightly.

"Stop saying that. You better start eating everything that is being given to you," Kowsalya scolded lovingly.

"Please, mom," Sanju pleaded softly.

"No way. Finish it now," Kowsalya insisted.

Aryan's heart swelled at the scene—watching the woman who raised him care so tenderly for the woman he loved.

"Kowsalya mom," he said, his voice thick with emotion, "thank you so much for taking care of Sanju."

"Sir, why do you thank me?" she asked with a warm smile. "Sanju is like a daughter to me. Of course, I'll take care of her."

Sanju stood and embraced her tightly, tears welling in her eyes.

Once the emotional moment settled, Aryan turned to Sanju and said, "The doctor has advised rest for a month. So—no office, only rest at home."

"Aryan, there's a lot of work at office. We shall go," Sanju argued gently. "I'll be fine."

"Are you going alone to office?" he asked, raising a brow.

"Why? Are you not going?"

"No. I'm off work for a month to stay with my wife."

"Are you kidding?" she asked, laughing in disbelief.

"I'm serious. Nothing is more important than you. Even if it's going to cause me millions in losses, I'm least bothered. But believe me, I can operate from home and still run the business. And Pradeep will handle your part."

"Too bad," she pouted playfully.

"Now come, you need rest," he said, scooping her up in his arms once again.

"Arya, are you going to carry me everywhere like this?" she asked, giggling.

"Yes, of course. You will not get down or climb stairs, understood?"

Sanju chuckled, pinching his cheek and kissing him quickly. Aryan laid her gently on the bed and began unbuttoning her top.

"What are you doing?" she asked, narrowing her eyes at him.

"Nothing, baby, just calm down," he said with a mischievous grin.

He sat beside her, leaning down to place a soft kiss on her abdomen. Then he whispered to the tiny life growing inside.

"Hi baby... It's your daddy. Thank you for coming into our life. I love you so much, and I can't wait to hold you in my arms."

Suddenly, a thought struck him. He looked up at Sanju with narrowed eyes.

"How did you say our baby will be a boy?"

"I want a boy like you, so I said," she replied, smirking.

"No way. I want a girl like you. My princess," he said with mock stubbornness.

"No... he will be mom's prince," Sanju insisted, playfully glaring back.

"Fine," Aryan chuckled. "Prince or princess—we'll have a healthy baby. But I'm still rooting for princess."

"Let's wait. There's more months for that," she teased, pulling him closer.

Aryan leaned in and kissed her forehead gently. "I couldn't put my happiness into words. I'm so happy."

That moment, wrapped in laughter, love, and the quiet promise of a growing family—was a day etched in both their hearts forever.
